Irritating, really very irritating. Unfortunately, there was a hair on my salmon plate (definitely not mine). When I very discreetly pointed it out to the waitress, the plate was immediately snatched away with an "oh" and referred to the manager. After that, we were completely ignored; the said manager never came. Completely incomprehensible; I just sat there consternated and no one from the waitress team cared. After 30 minutes, we asked for the bill, disappointed, and actually got one. Although the dish with the hair was not included, everything else was charged, and not even a single apology was made. We didn't see the manager again. And we weren't even offered the nightcap that all the other guests received. This ignorance is simply astounding. Definitely not a recommendation. Mistakes can happen. But what shouldn't happen is the way they dealt with it. A real shame!

Perfect meat grilled to perfection. The side dishes of the salad and the dressing were simply delicious. For me, Budweiser on tap is the dream with meat. Service always friendly!!!!!! We'd love to come back.

I firmly believe that there is no better place to eat steak. The staff was always there quickly. The starter was incredibly tasty, so a completely worry-free package. We always like to come back. Now comes the only downside: If you want to take photos of the food because it's so delicious, the plates don't make it as attractive. Dark plates would match the quality of the restaurant much more and would also look much better in pictures.

Very good meat quality. The salad garlic dressing is my favorite, seasoned to perfection. Fresh baguette, herb butter and paprika spread (very tasty) is served in two large bowls and is plentiful and can also be ordered again. I think the value for money is reasonable for what you get. I've been a regular at La Venta for over 20 years and can confidently say that, in my opinion, they have the best steak in the area. I only know the landlord because he is always present in the restaurant, but otherwise we are neither known nor friends. We now compare every steakhouse with La Venta - it is our reference - and so far it has always won. Not only is the quality of the steaks outstanding, but also the price-performance ratio. Every good steakhouse has now had to raise its prices significantly, including La Venta - but here the price also includes side dishes such as bread, salad and potatoes or fries. As a starter we love the bread and the homemade spread, which is very spicy. We always order more of the bread because it is so delicious. We have never been charged for this before. I am very picky about steaks and always eat my steak medium rare. At La Venta it's almost always exactly to the point. If something isn't right, it's never discussed - it just comes up. There are simply no discussions at La Venta that I have had to experience in other steakhouses. An insider tip is the beef skewer. It's cheaper than the steak and you actually only get fillet pieces here. Even on the skewer, the meat is medium-medium (which I order that way, of course - otherwise it's medium). I've never experienced this almost anywhere before, because smaller pieces are harder to grill. Cheers! I would also like to mention the fantastic goulash soup. Filet is actually used here, which you can of course taste. Where did you get this before? My wife, who comes from Cologne, confirms my opinion. La Venta is now her absolute favorite too. She just hasn't known it as long as I have. The atmosphere is very pleasant and we simply feel comfortable there. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, which makes every visit a special experience. La Venta is and remains our favorite steakhouse! 🥩🍷

Great 😂 The fillet steak was okay, the baked potatoes were also okay, price 60€. My friend got a steak with croquettes € 55... A total of 5 pieces and nothing on the plate... His girlfriend had a salad with tuna as her main menu... A bag from the Rewe refrigerated section and a can of tuna, on the other hand, would be a 5 Star menu The service specialist was rather bored, listless and slightly cheeky... Once and never again...

Der Salat mit Thunfisch war unterirdisch, Rewe hat in der Kühlabteilung besseren. We've been there several times. Even yesterday the quality of the food (steak) was very good. However, the price increase is so enormous that it cannot be explained by inflation. This is usury and greed. The restaurant will certainly continue to have its guests...we lost 4 people yesterday. We won't be coming back...it's a shame, but we won't support that. The price increase is, despite all entrepreneurial thinking, unacceptable.

So if you love steaks you will get your money's worth here. Not exactly cheap, but great quality! Always my pleasure.

A great meal in a first-class atmosphere.

Cozy restaurant with an open grill indoors. There are great steaks and fresh Italian cuisine. Nice ambience. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The waiter comes to each table with a huge pepper mill. At the end there is a Marsala for each guest, which is artfully poured from a carafe on the waiter's shoulder. I've been there several times and it's been great every time.

Nice atmosphere inside, outside they did what was possible. Now the more important thing: The starter plate was very tasty. The food itself is TOP. I can only recommend ordering the steak without sauce as it is very well seasoned and seared. Unfortunately the fish was just a little too dry, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Wow... ich bin schon viel rum gekommen. Ich habe italienische Wurzeln und verbringe daher viel zeit in Italien, wo man die gute Küche gewohnt ist. Aber das war wirklich das beste Steak was ich bisher gegessen habe. Ich habe das Filet gegessen. Zwar ist es etwas teuer, aber jeden Cent Wert.

Overrated steakhouse. The entrecote was only of mediocre quality. Anyone who generally finds steaks here to be good to very good has no idea about good Argentinian steaks. The salad was even worse than expected. I'm not going here anymore. The ambience of the restaurant is nice, but everything else is not.

This restaurant is highly recommended. Would always eat there again. Everything was fine. Good service and delicious food. Unfortunately I live in southern Germany, but I'll be there again next time I visit Referat.

The cooking point was perfect and the steak was of very good quality. There was also an obligatory “slurp”. Park in front of the restaurant on the street or, if you're lucky, on the side street. Pre-ordering is a good idea

We were super happy with all the dishes, the steaks were great, pizzas were great, the side salad was great. Friends who go there often said the pasta wasn't anything special, but we hadn't tried it.

No decorations, nothing. Nope. They lost me as a customer. It's a shame, because I actually like the service and also the interior

The waitress didn't know what to do and stared at us the whole time. Salad tasted like it was bought ready-made from Lidl. Pizza looked and tasted like nothing dough with tomatoes. Fish platter wasn't a fish platter but a plate with 3 types of fish from their own aquarium. In the evening we all felt sick and had to throw up. It wasn't hygienic either. A man cuts the meat without gloves, uses his cell phone and just keeps going. I would like to go zero stars, unfortunately that's not possible. Restaurant not recommended

The basket of bread with spreadable cheese and/or spicy sauce, provided while waiting for the first course, is appreciable. Efficient staff, speed in ordering. Good pasta. Worthy of note is the "grappino" offered at the end of the meal. Price more than fair, considering the proximity to the big city.

Sorry service, complete catastrophe, got the wrong drinks, got the wrong food, that's what happened today not only to our table, but to the other guests too! It can happen once in the evening but it can't last the whole evening! Not for me/us to recommend !

Wow! Super nice gem, hidden in Refrath! How didn't I discover this place before? The food was amazing, very well presented, super delicious and in huge quantity! The service and the ambiance are also on top! And the menu is super diverse, impossible you don't find something you like. Same for the wine selection. Very nice find!

Ich muss leider zu Weihnachten immer mit der Familie hin. Jedes Mal denke ich, meine Güte, wie kann man Gerichte so lieblos präsentieren. Billigster Eisbergsalat, geschmacklose Tomaten und Gurken, Mais aus der Dose, ertränkt im Dressing und auf Wunsch der letzte Todesstoß mit der überdimensionierten Pfeffermühle. Ein Stück Fleisch neben 5 umherrollenden TK-Kroketten und Sauce Béarnaise aus der Tüte. Aber es gibt ja genug Leute, die sowas als Highlight empfinden.

Probablemente el mejor restaurante de carne de toda la zona. Son los únicos que realmente hacen un bistec poco hecho realmente poco hecho.

Einrichtung gemütlich, nicht überkandidelt. Service flott und freundlich. Essen super, Filet medium auf den Punkt, Fisch sehr lecker und Nudelgerichte mit tollen Soßen. Und das Tiramisu.... hach. Portionsgrößen normal bis groß (hab inzwischen immer 1-2 Dosen dabei wenn ich essen gehe)

Wir gehen da seit 20 Jahren immer wieder gerne hin. Sehr leckerer Salat mit Knoblauch - oder Kräutersoße und das Fleisch ist mega. Die Pizzen dagegen sind so là là und die Pasta auch nur durchschnittlich, aber alles was mit Fleisch zu tun hat ist toll, auch das Osso Buco.

Für mich als Steakliebhaberin ein Paradies. Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt reichlich Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Das Steak war auf den Punkt genau und perfekt zubereitet. Geschmacklich ein Genuss. Die Beilagen waren auch sehr sehr lecker. Vorab gab es Brot mit 2 Aufstrichen. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist top. Freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist klassisch gemütlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Hohe Erwartungen wurden leider enttäuscht. Ich hatte mich für den Grillteller entschieden, zu dem Fritten und ein Salat gehört. Bei dem Salat schmeckte die Soße wie eine Fertigsoße aus dem Glas von Kaufland. Bei dem Grillteller war ausgerechnet das Filetstück (wenn es denn eines sein sollte) nicht essbar. Es war zwar lecker, aber der kleine Bissen wurde immer größer im Mund. Viel zu kurz gebraten, ich hab den Rest davon liegen gelassen. Das Tier ist dann leider zwei mal gestorben ... Preis - Leistungsverhältnis daher für mich vollkommen aus dem Rahmen. Ambiente hat mir leider auch nicht gefallen. Erst mal wird man vor der Tür von einer grimmig dreinschauenden, rauchenden Bedienung zurück gegrüßt (charmant) und es war ungewöhnlich laut in dem Lokal, wie in einer Kantine. (Wofür der Betreiber allerdings nichts kann) Zur Entlastung sei gesagt, meiner Begleitung hat es geschmeckt, aber die hat auch nur halb so viel für ihr Schnitzel bezahlt.

Wir waren Mal wieder sehr zufrieden. Top Essen bis auf den Punkt genau gegrillt, einfach super, kommen gerne wieder.

Wie immer ein Traum, von der Vorspeise dem zarten warmen Brot mit Sauce, dem fantastischen Salat bis zum Fleisch, dass seines Gleichen sucht. Dazu freundliches Personal und gemütliches Ambiente. Jederzeit und immer wieder.

Wir waren mit Freunden dort und wurden herzlich empfangen. Es gibt Steaks, andere Fleisch Gerichte Pasta und Pizza und zahlreiche Vorspeisen. Alle waren lecker (Vitello tonato, Empanadas, Garnelenpfännchen). Das Filet war zart, die Pizzen köstlich belegt, hätten aber etwas knuspriger sein können. Alles in allem ein schöner Abend und wir kommen gerne wieder und probieren uns durch.

Das Restaurant ist das beste, welches ich kenne. Die Steaks sind einmalig, das Brot mit dem Aufstrich, Wahnsinn!! Man kann dort aber auch Pizza oder Pasta essen.

Traditionelles Steak-Haus. Wir gehen dort schon seit Jahren hin und es ist immer wieder toll. Sehr gute Fleischqualität, toller Service. Das Vorspeisenbrot ist einfach nur lecker. Ich kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein unscheinbares italienisches Lokal, das verzaubert, wenn man es betritt und sich kulinarisch verwöhnen lässt. Das Steakfleisch war außergewöhnlich lecker und zart, obwohl es "nur" ein Spieß war. Das Ambiente stimmt und wird authentisch durch sehr nette ältere Herren, die einen mit gelassener Gemütlichkeit bedienen (großartig, endlich ohne Stress essen).
