Intimate restaurant with great spirit and even better food. Had a super nice evening. Ceviche with sorbet - star-worthy. Service at its best. Only the band that comes along isn't balanced: the bass is way too loud for the vocals - generally not for everyone. I liked it, the guys can do something, but there's no need for an amplifier.

An authentic Chilean restaurant in a cozy atmosphere. Their empanadas, seafood, and Pisco Sour are excellent, complemented by a great Chilean wine, live music, and friendly service. Highly recommended!

La tia rica was really fantastic! There were three of us there, me as a German, my mother and my partner who comes from Chile. The food was great (and authentic according to my partner), the atmosphere was very lively and the service/staff were super friendly! They spoke both German and Spanish (multiple versions of Spanish) and took the time to both translate and explain the dishes :D The alcohol tasted so great we even bought a bottle of pisco that looked like an Easter Island statue! Would definitely recommend it for a nice evening in a good mood!

Bastante pequeño por dentro, pero encantador y cálidamente acogido por el personal y el propietario. Encantadora selección de entrantes especiales diarios y tuberías explicadas por el personal. Absolutamente excelente selección de vinos a muy buenos precios. La comida es maravillosa, y el restaurante sin duda merecía su alta calificación. Para una comida para cuatro con vino es un robo!

Very very tasty food and friendly staff. Reservation essential. We were there on Wednesday and it was full to capacity. At the weekend it will probably be even more difficult to get a place. Because this is a rather small restaurant, it seems very "squashed" and is correspondingly loud. Definitely recommended

Spectacular Chilean!! Happy to have found it, it's like being in Chilito!! Sopaipillas, crab cake, empanadas, ceviche, and lucuma ice cream, to name a few dishes. Owner is Chilean and serves him with his daughter and other Latinos, super friendly and professional.

A short trip to South America!! It is rare to find a chilean restaurant outside of Chile, but this one is a jewel. All staff were from South America, and so were many of the guests. The menu is super creative, could have tried everything...perfect quality, trust the staff's recommendations. Whenever in Berlin, will come back anytime!!

Llegamos demasiado temprano para nuestra mesa reservada. Todavía estaba ocupado, pero disfrutamos de un pisco agrio sentado en otra mesa. Poco después nuestra mesa estaba lista. El personal de servicio era amable y profesional. Compartimos el ceviche de bacalao con sorbete del menú diario para entrada (entre 2 ) y yo tenía el entrecote para red. Después de un pisco del menú digestivo continuamos compartiendo el helado de lúcuma (delicioso). Todo estaba bien chapado. La comida era relativamente buena. El propietario era encantador.

Wir waren nach Feierabend zu fünft im Außenbereich, sehr freundliche Begrüßung, leckerer Pisco Sour, kleine Standardkarte, aber große Auswahl an Tagesgerichten, die alle super geschmeckt haben und auch wunderschön angerichtet waren. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Als dann auch noch spanische Lieder gesungen wurden, fühlten wir uns fast wie im Urlaub. Das Restaurant ist eine große Empfehlung wert.

Dass man nach einer gewissen Zeit. aus dem Lokal geworfen wird, weil das vom Besitzer festgelegten Zeiffenster für den Aufenhalt abgelaufen ist, obwohl man noch etwas bestellen wollte, geht gar nicht. Da nützt auch das gute Essen nicht.

Delicious food with good service. The boss is extremely business-minded. We were asked to leave because there are only certain times, even though we wanted to order something else. Therefore: definitely not recommended! The guest is not king here, but rather a money machine. SHAME!!

I'm a sucker for powerful zesty tastes. Everything we tried was delicious, I cannot get over the corriander chili and lemon sorbet on the top of the ceviche we ordered. Simply amazing. The staff was in a very bad mood. Very unpleasant to eat there. You are going to enjoy the weekend, but the people were very rude. The food also seemed to be frozen. I used to recommend it, but not now.

It was truly a bad experience from the moment my friend and I arrived and sat at the table we had reserved. We asked if we could move outside since we saw free tables and it was very hot that day. Apparently, the owner responded in a grumpy and aggressive tone that we had chosen the table, when in fact the table had been assigned to us when we called to make the reservation, and we were just asking. Then we sat down, the waiter gave us the menu, and brought a chalkboard to our table to “recite” the long list of options, like a street vendor in the Vega Chilean market. He gave us breath and we told him we would take a look. We decided to order two pisco sours to start and empanadas as an appetizer, planning to decide what to order next afterward. When we ordered the pisco sours, my friend, who is vegan, asked for hers without egg (or albumin), and I, as always, preferred mine dry. They looked at me incredulously and tried to explain how a dry cocktail is made. The owner and the waiter then started making mocking comments about our choice, apparently without understanding what the term means. It basically means prepared with less sugar (or gum syrup), which any bartender would understand. They brought us the pisco sours and mine was prepared with no sugar at all, meaning they didn’t listen to anything I, as a customer, had requested. The whole situation, including the poorly made pisco sour, seemed very bad taste to me. I asked them to fix it, and without much enthusiasm, we ordered the appetizers. The empanadas were terrible, almost like cocktail-sized ones, probably the frozen kind, given the quality and taste of the dough. They brought us a pebre that honestly was quite poor, with more onion than tomato, and a portion size that was hardly enough for two people, or even one people. We felt tense and very uncomfortable the whole time due to the staff making comments about other customers and looking at us accusingly, as if ordering an appetizer and pisco sours was the worst thing. They even came over to take the glasses we weren’t using. As expected, after that we didn't want to order anything else and just wanted to pay and leave. In short, it was a place with incredibly poor manners and terrible service, a real disappointment, especially for Chilean culture and gastronomy. As the saying goes, “les quedó grande el poncho.” I wouldn’t go back even if they paid me, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to any Chilean, German or international friend.

Since I still had a bit of time in Berlin today, I decided to visit the restaurant La Tia Rica. As a starter I had two empanadas, a pan amasado and a sopaipilla with pebre. The main course was pastel de choclo with a Chilean salad. I have to say, the visit to the restaurant was very worth it. The food was delicious, the pisco sour was spot on – it was all wonderful. I felt like I was in Chile. I was excited; the service was also very friendly and accommodating. When I'm in Berlin again, I'll definitely come back.

Really nice, authentic shop in Charlottenburg. The food, especially from the daily menu, is highly recommended. The only downer is that the last round is announced very early and you are kindly asked to leave the restaurant at around 10 p.m.

Very good Chilean restaurant. We were there in a larger group. We were given different starters to really get a broad overview. The welcome was warm. The menu is clear and is supplemented by a daily menu on the board. The food was very good and the portions were very large. The desserts were very tasty and a great finale. Small restaurant with lovely personell and a great cuisine. It was our first visit and definitely not the last.Just a pity they have to close so early, which isn't the restaurants decision.

We can only confirm the positive impression. We made reservations early because we wanted to go to the theater. When we arrived, they remembered it and asked when we had to leave so that the service and kitchen could prepare. The menu is relatively small, but there is an extensive daily menu, which is also explained to the guest at the table. The service is always present but unobtrusive. The food is very good, with some unusual flavors and combinations, but everything is very harmonious. We were positively surprised by the price given our selection and the quality. We will be back definitely.

The pisco sour and the locos were delicious when I went with a friend. The rest were some empanadas (expensive for the size), ceviche with “melon” (?? that's not Chilean), and other things. The attention was not the most friendly either.

Excellent cuisine: the meat is fried to perfection, delicious exotic side dishes, everything is freshly prepared. Great cocktails and a good wine selection... attentive, friendly service...

There were three of us there and it was completely full around 8:15 p.m. It started well, with a small starter: pastries with 2 dipping sauces. Then order wine from a large selection. There is a daily card written in chalk on a blackboard, plus a lecture about what was written, great! Our lady chose a dish from the menu, we two men from the table: medium rump steak. Then the enjoyment began, although the noise in the restaurant is very high and the dim lighting makes it difficult to see the food. But that makes the room cozy. Then a Spanish guitar group visited us, but we barely noticed them because of the volume in the crowded restaurant until they asked for a tip. Our feast with a starter of empanadas and a main course and a €28 bottle of wine wasn't exactly cheap, but we had a wonderful evening and would be happy to come back during the time slots offered. Pre-registration is absolutely necessary!

The experience of experiences, amazing Chilean food, a tender filet dish with cocoa flavors, a one-of-a-kind dish, empanadas with a number of different fillings, every dish is delicious, a variety of desserts, the lemon ice cream is great and also the borla cream, the alcohol is like quality white and red wine, happy atmosphere, amazing attitude , welcoming waiters, explaining each and every dish at ease, the owner of the restaurant is charming, smiling and gives you the feeling that you are in the right place!

We went in spontaneously. It was said that everything reserves no space. But the impossible was made possible. Interesting menu, you have to come back. Very friendly service, everything was explained, but there was still time for a conversation. Rabbit and rib of beef was delicious, dessert a new experience. Overall: One visit is not enough - reservation is essential.

It was my first time eating Chilean food, so I'm no expert. But the warm welcome and service alone are worth all the stars. There were four of us. All dishes were excellently prepared and presented. The evening was a success all around. We wish the entire team all the best and will definitely come back.

Leider war gestern Abend das Personal sehr gestresst und das hat sich auf uns nieder geschlagen. Es waren auch sehr eng und die Musik war mir persönlich etwas zu viel für den Platz. Sehr gute Küche, freundliches Personal aber meine Nachspeise war nicht so besonders. Da hätte ich mir bei dem hohen Niveau der Hauptspeisen einfach mehr erwartet.

Ein nettes kleines Restaurant. Der Service sehr aufmerksam. Die Menügrösse perfekt, dazu noch ein Daily Board mit einigen Tagesspecials, genau richtig! Vorab gab es noch selbstgebackenen Brötchen mit Dipps. Die Vorspeisen Gambas al Pil Pil und verschiedene Empanadas, waren lecker. Als Hauptgericht Camarones Grande und Pulpo. Gute Portionen und schmackhaft!

Ich war mit meiner Frau und meiner Schwester ( sie wohnt in Seattle ) zu Dinner in diesem Restaurant. Das Restaurant ist zwar etwas klein aber stilvoll eingerichtet. Man sollte jedoch vor einen Besuch eine Reservierung machen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ( z.B. beim Aussuchen der Speisen und Getränke ). Alles Speisen ob Vorspeise Hauptgericht und Dessert sind stilvoll zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft. La Tia Rica ist nur zu empfehlen und ich werde bestimmt wieder einmal dort einkehren. Fuimos a inicios de diciembre, y para ser un jueves cualquiera estaba lleno. Cómo habíamos hecho reservación, no fue un problema. El lugar es bastante pequeño pero acogedor. La comida estuvo muy buena y las porciones del tamaño preciso. Comimos empanada de pulpo, salmón al pisco, calamares, pastel de choclo y de jaiba. Es costoso pero la verdad es que vale la pena. Lo mejor a mi parecer fue el pastel de choclo.

Ein wirklich grandioses chilenisches Restaurant mit einer tollen Auswahl an außergewöhnlichen Gerichten. Der Service war familiär und sehr freundlich. Das Rinderfilet mit Pflaumen kann ich wärmstens empfehlen! Als Dessert hat das Helado de Lucuma den Abend perfekt abgerundet! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen, wenn wir in Berlin sind.
