Great tapas place just minutes away from one of Berlin's key shopping districts. Cozy, classic vibe inside, and the selection of dishes is varied and interesting. I particularly recommend the deserts, which are really irresistible!

An absolute highlight! Fantastic service – attentive, warm, friendly, and yet completely relaxed. You can tell right away that the people here are passionate and passionate about their work. The Chilean food was a dream! It took me right back to my time in Chile – so authentic and full of flavor. Every dish, every drink, even the wine: simply fantastic and prepared with great attention to detail. The value for money is more than fair. And as a special highlight, we even got a dessert that wasn't on the menu – simply because we asked for it. Such gestures make all the difference. Thank you for this wonderful experience! We will definitely be back.

Great—I don't often write reviews, but this time I have to, because the evening at Tia Rica was simply wonderful. Excellent food, very fair value, good service, simple but very lively decor, excellent selection of Chilean wines... a perfect evening.

While the empanadas were good, you can't be served pre-cooked chips from a supermarket bag for a 28 euro dish (lomo a lo pobre) that's pretty ordinary.

I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food, good portions, Chilean flavor, and gourmet in Berlin. The service was very friendly. The only thing I missed was some Chilean music to create more atmosphere, but it's highly recommended. I suggest making reservations, because even visiting on a weekday, it's quite crowded.

Great service and amazing food! Highly recommend and would go again. We got the Beef Ribs, cola del Diablo and Yuca frita. The ribs were a very generous portion while the Cola del Diablo (fish) was much smaller. Still both were delicious and we left very satisfied 👍🏽 oh and they were late on the drinks hence the 4 stars on service.

We were invited here by some friends and we are so glad we went. The food, service, and atmosphere was all great. They have a set menu but also a daily special board with many great options. The food was so well prepared and everything was delicious. The staff were also very friendly and provided great service. We will definitely be going back.

We recently "landed" at La Tia Rica by chance and were absolutely thrilled. We got a table even though we didn't have a reservation. Since the restaurant only has a few tables, reservations are definitely recommended. We received very courteous service and felt very comfortable. The dishes on the regular menu and the daily specials whetted our appetites, so we ordered various small dishes, all of which tasted delicious. In addition, the prices are relatively moderate, especially considering that everything here is freshly prepared and of truly exceptional quality. So if you're looking for a restaurant where everything doesn't taste like artificial flavor enhancers or like you'd find in any other restaurant, you should definitely go to La Tia Rica. We'll definitely be back.

We spent a truly wonderful summer evening here today with excellent food. The daily menu is so promising, it's hard to decide. The service was extremely attentive and explained the daily menu to us in detail. We had starters, main courses, and dessert; each course was a culinary delicacy. We would come back anytime.

It was a very nice evening. The staff is very friendly. I went there with my husband and friends because I'm about to cook Chilean food for friends and wanted to try Chilean cuisine beforehand. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. And the service was excellent. I also received tips for the dishes I wanted to cook and was given some Chilean spices. The restaurant is very small, so reservations are definitely recommended. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in Berlin.

Herrliche Cevice mit Melone und minze als Vorspeise und dann ein tolles filet vom Fisch mit einer absolut köstlichen Beilage aus Bohnen, Graupen und Chili (nannten sie es 'Piskú'?) Komme jedenfalls gerne wieder!

We were there as part of a large group and were warmly welcomed and served excellent food! From the delicious aperitif (Pisco Sour) to various appetizers (all incredibly delicious – but the scallops were amazing), to a delicious main course from the weekly menu, to various desserts – everything was really good and something special :) I can highly recommend it!

Very tasty food and very friendly staff. A bit inflexible with reservations, as there are two fixed time slots you have to choose between. But otherwise, everything was great.

I liked what I ate, but I think the culinary offerings are more experimental than Chilean. The sopaipillas and pebre were incredible, though. However, I missed seeing typical vegetarian dishes like the delicious beans with reins, humitas, and mote con huesillo, to name a couple. I have no doubt the chefs are top-notch, but the menu lacks Chilean flair.

Small cozy restaurant with Chilean cuisine. The food is typical of the country and very tasty. So if you want to go on a short gourmet holiday in South America, this is the place for you. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the boss likes to come to the table personally. You should definitely reserve a table in advance, especially in the evening.

Despite the short notice, everything worked out wonderfully. All dishes – three starters and four main courses – were excellent, freshly prepared and lovingly presented. A great dining experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, the food was absolutely brilliant. The service was also good, the actual menu is quite small, but there is a long daily menu that contained some absolute highlights. The only “drawback”: As in some restaurants, there are two reservation times, which are adhered to quite closely, even at the back. So it ends at 10:30 p.m. If you want to end the evening you have to move on. This is also communicated transparently on the website.

He gives good recommendations. An entire wall is filled with Chilean wines in every price range. The Chilean wines are very good. You really are a welcome GUEST here! Intimate restaurant with great spirit and even better food. Had a super nice evening. Ceviche with sorbet - star-worthy. Service at its best. Only the band that comes along isn't balanced: the bass is way too loud for the vocals - generally not for everyone. I liked it, the guys can do something, but there's no need for an amplifier.

La tia rica was really fantastic! There were three of us there, me as a German, my mother and my partner who comes from Chile. The food was great (and authentic according to my partner), the atmosphere was very lively and the service/staff were super friendly! They spoke both German and Spanish (multiple versions of Spanish) and took the time to both translate and explain the dishes :D The alcohol tasted so great we even bought a bottle of pisco that looked like an Easter Island statue! Would definitely recommend it for a nice evening in a good mood!

La Tia Rica is one of our absolute favorite restaurants. Here you will not only find first-class dishes, but also a tempting selection of wines. However, we always look forward to the perfect Pisco Sour. The friendly and competent service also contributes to your feeling of well-being.

Spectacular Chilean!! Happy to have found it, it's like being in Chilito!! Sopaipillas, crab cake, empanadas, ceviche, and lucuma ice cream, to name a few dishes. Owner is Chilean and serves him with his daughter and other Latinos, super friendly and professional.

A short trip to South America!! It is rare to find a chilean restaurant outside of Chile, but this one is a jewel. All staff were from South America, and so were many of the guests. The menu is super creative, could have tried everything...perfect quality, trust the staff's recommendations. Whenever in Berlin, will come back anytime!!

Llegamos demasiado temprano para nuestra mesa reservada. Todavía estaba ocupado, pero disfrutamos de un pisco agrio sentado en otra mesa. Poco después nuestra mesa estaba lista. El personal de servicio era amable y profesional. Compartimos el ceviche de bacalao con sorbete del menú diario para entrada (entre 2 ) y yo tenía el entrecote para red. Después de un pisco del menú digestivo continuamos compartiendo el helado de lúcuma (delicioso). Todo estaba bien chapado. La comida era relativamente buena. El propietario era encantador.

Wir waren nach Feierabend zu fünft im Außenbereich, sehr freundliche Begrüßung, leckerer Pisco Sour, kleine Standardkarte, aber große Auswahl an Tagesgerichten, die alle super geschmeckt haben und auch wunderschön angerichtet waren. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Als dann auch noch spanische Lieder gesungen wurden, fühlten wir uns fast wie im Urlaub. Das Restaurant ist eine große Empfehlung wert.

I'm a sucker for powerful zesty tastes. Everything we tried was delicious, I cannot get over the corriander chili and lemon sorbet on the top of the ceviche we ordered. Simply amazing. The staff was in a very bad mood. Very unpleasant to eat there. You are going to enjoy the weekend, but the people were very rude. The food also seemed to be frozen. I used to recommend it, but not now.

It was truly a bad experience from the moment my friend and I arrived and sat at the table we had reserved. We asked if we could move outside since we saw free tables and it was very hot that day. Apparently, the owner responded in a grumpy and aggressive tone that we had chosen the table, when in fact the table had been assigned to us when we called to make the reservation, and we were just asking. Then we sat down, the waiter gave us the menu, and brought a chalkboard to our table to “recite” the long list of options, like a street vendor in the Vega Chilean market. He gave us breath and we told him we would take a look. We decided to order two pisco sours to start and empanadas as an appetizer, planning to decide what to order next afterward. When we ordered the pisco sours, my friend, who is vegan, asked for hers without egg (or albumin), and I, as always, preferred mine dry. They looked at me incredulously and tried to explain how a dry cocktail is made. The owner and the waiter then started making mocking comments about our choice, apparently without understanding what the term means. It basically means prepared with less sugar (or gum syrup), which any bartender would understand. They brought us the pisco sours and mine was prepared with no sugar at all, meaning they didn’t listen to anything I, as a customer, had requested. The whole situation, including the poorly made pisco sour, seemed very bad taste to me. I asked them to fix it, and without much enthusiasm, we ordered the appetizers. The empanadas were terrible, almost like cocktail-sized ones, probably the frozen kind, given the quality and taste of the dough. They brought us a pebre that honestly was quite poor, with more onion than tomato, and a portion size that was hardly enough for two people, or even one people. We felt tense and very uncomfortable the whole time due to the staff making comments about other customers and looking at us accusingly, as if ordering an appetizer and pisco sours was the worst thing. They even came over to take the glasses we weren’t using. As expected, after that we didn't want to order anything else and just wanted to pay and leave. In short, it was a place with incredibly poor manners and terrible service, a real disappointment, especially for Chilean culture and gastronomy. As the saying goes, “les quedó grande el poncho.” I wouldn’t go back even if they paid me, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to any Chilean, German or international friend.

Since I still had a bit of time in Berlin today, I decided to visit the restaurant La Tia Rica. As a starter I had two empanadas, a pan amasado and a sopaipilla with pebre. The main course was pastel de choclo with a Chilean salad. I have to say, the visit to the restaurant was very worth it. The food was delicious, the pisco sour was spot on – it was all wonderful. I felt like I was in Chile. I was excited; the service was also very friendly and accommodating. When I'm in Berlin again, I'll definitely come back.

Non è comune trovare buona cucina cilena in giro per il mondo, ma qui l'abbiamo trovata. Menù ampio che soddisfa tutti i gusti, consigliamo in particolare le empanadas del giorno e di ascoltare le proposte fuori carta. Prenotazione necessaria. Con 70€ si mangia in due senza problemi.

Interesting restaurant unfortunately with a time limit, which I don't like that much (2 hours). The food itself was very good, maybe a little too much for some people. Service was fine, but the store was packed.
