La Pizzeria in Ingolstadt

We're in Ingolstadt for a city break - we had dinner at La Pizzeria - the pizzas were excellent - simply fantastic!!! - everything was freshly made - the service was friendly and quick - truly worth all the stars - we'll be back!

Quite okay, a little overpriced. We were here for dinner on Sunday evening with a group of 9 people (with a reservation). The tables were free right away, even though we arrived a few minutes earlier than planned. That was definitely great. Let's talk about the service: The ordered drinks and food arrived relatively quickly, so there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the waitress had to be asked repeatedly to clear the empty glasses, which is important at this table size (see photo), as it quickly gets crowded as soon as the dishes are served. At least the service was very friendly, but unfortunately, it was difficult to understand due to the (acceptable) noise level. The food: Generally, everyone in our group was reasonably satisfied with their ordered dishes. They didn't take long to arrive and arrived at everyone's table at the same time—that's how it should be—TOP! That's a very good performance for a group of 9 people. However, I would like to talk about the pizzas, specifically with our three. We ordered a Pizza Arugula con Crudo, a Pizza Contadina (+artichokes), and a Pizza Quattro Stagioni (+salami). The Arugula con Crudo initially came without the raw ham, but it had to be pointed out that it was missing. The crust on the Contadina was a bit too dark, and the artichokes felt like a single artichoke had been torn to pieces. The artichoke on the 4 Stagioni was similarly poor. Additionally, it lacked (good) flavor and was a bit bland. In my opinion, this pizza was somewhat carelessly topped, as was the extra salami. The three-quarter slice of zucchini was very amusing! :) In general, the pizzas in this price range (€14.50 - €15+) were sparsely topped. We certainly didn't expect them to be completely overloaded with toppings, but we would have hoped for a little more. Another thing that was noticeable was that the pizzas were so thin in the middle that the tomato sauce had completely soaked them, making it impossible to slice properly, let alone eat them with your hands. It was more like pasta/lasagna with tomato sauce. Our pizzas: Tasted okay. The ambiance: "La Pizzeria" is a nice, cozy size. This inevitably leads to a certain amount of noise when people start talking. That's just the way it is, and there's no reason for criticism! Personally, I think it just lacks a bit of charm. The lighting is more reminiscent of a fast-food restaurant than a pizzeria with a cozy atmosphere for enjoying food. Regardless: We would come back because the selection and quality of the food is good. The staff is friendly and certainly makes every effort to ensure that every guest has a good time and a culinary experience. Perhaps it will be better next time, and they'll have a better hand in choosing their food.

I stopped by this evening, hoping for a relaxed pizza and a bit of Italian warmth. Instead, I discovered a fascinating local custom: the invisible queue. Guests with glittering handbags and generous companions seemed to glide effortlessly to the front, while others like me practiced patience and invisibility. The staff appeared well-trained in recognizing the sound of heavy wallets, less so in basic courtesy. I’m sure the food tastes exquisite if you ever get the chance to try it — I, unfortunately, didn’t. A true masterclass in selective hospitality.

We ate here as a family and were seated in the back courtyard. The food for five people arrived quickly and was delicious. The service was very attentive, friendly, and courteous. A shout-out to the young gentleman—a rare occurrence in the restaurant industry. Overall, a successful evening with good food and good value for money.

The food, including both starter and main course, tasted excellent. Just as an Italian restaurant should. We had excellent service. We'd be happy to go back!

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Ingolstadt. The very best pizza and pasta for miles around – needless to say – simply top-notch. In the summer, they also have a cool/nice outdoor area. (Only the acoustics can be a bit loud inside at times).

I ordered over the phone for pickup and still had to wait an additional 30 minutes inside, even though there were maybe 5-7 tables occupied. The young student serving was extremely dedicated and did a great job. The pizza was still delicious.

Stopover in Ingolstadt, in the mood for a delicious pizza... we were in the right place. Well attended and still got a table. Service was very nice and attentive. Now to the important thing... the pizza from the stone oven was amazing, I haven't eaten it better in Italy.

Since we had no other options for a pizzeria that evening, we came up with this one. My girlfriend and I once ordered salami and magherita (with mozzella) and were completely disappointed. The Magherita had almost no cheese on it and only tomato sauce and the pizzas didn't look appetizing. My pizza was cold and the salami wasn't fresh. Since I paid €25 I would have expected more considering it is a normal price for a pizza. What I have to say is that the pizza didn't take long until we picked it up.

After a long break (why?), we've been there twice now and got pizza once. Both the pizza and the pasta were excellent. Nice, small wine list, the service was excellent, the boss hosts and makes you feel very comfortable. We will definitely come back regularly.

The food tastes really good but the price is a bit excessive in my opinion.. I found a plate of tagliatelle with cheese sauce 14.50 to be very expensive and you don't necessarily feel full afterwards and the rest wasn't exactly worth it. The service was friendly and was probably intended to represent the look of Italian farmers. I found it a bit strange (the clothes) The fact that we were asked to leave after 1.5 hours is also not that customer friendly. But we can probably afford it and that was what we said when we made the reservation. If you like to eat out in the city, it's ok. But I wouldn't go there specifically.

Excellent pizza, thin dough and the option to flavor it with garlic or chili oil. The beer is also very good. 😄

Centrally located and also with a terrace in the back yard, which could certainly be a little prettier and tidier, along with the menu (more like flyers plus pasta of the day on the chalkboard). But that's about it for criticism. Fresh, really fresh and homemade pasta! Large, delicious pizzas and at acceptable prices, in the middle of the city. Can be recommended!

Best homemade pasta in town. Delicious pizza from the stone oven. Mixed starter from the display case is a must. The junior boss knows a lot about wine, be sure to order a bottle with it. The senior boss and boss have been working in the catering industry for years and it shows, they are hosts with heart and soul. An Italian espresso and a tiramisu round off a lovely evening. Great family business, absolutely recommended. You have been an enrichment for Ingolstadt for years.

Small, charming restaurant with very tasty pizza from the stone oven! Price-performance fits in my opinion. I always find service friendly and competent. That's another reason why it's a very pleasant atmosphere. There are few places, so be sure to reserve! Clear recommendation if you want a quiet and pleasant evening with delicious food.

I tried the Salsiccia pizza. But there's nothing more than an OK for it. Neither the dough nor the topping could convince me. That's not right, especially considering the price.

We were there relatively spontaneously with a group of 20 people. The waiter was friendly and always present. Everyone got what was ordered. And not only that, after just 40 minutes all 20 people had their drinks as well as their pizzas. These were also thin and delicious. A real stone oven pizza. The prices are also completely reasonable. Very good!

Unfortunately, expectations couldn't really be met here: Pro: Pizza tasted okay, but nothing special. The waiter was committed and tried hard, but there were simply not enough staff for the number of guests. Con: Despite reservations, you only got one seat, which was near the entrance to the kitchen. According to the waiter, the order was forgotten and we had to wait over 30 minutes for the pizzas. The ambience can best be compared to a loud canteen. Zero Italian charm or esprit. In my opinion, Ingolstadt has some better addresses to offer!

Sehr lecker, tolle Produkte werden verwendet. An einen Samstag abend hatten wir leider nur Pech mit der Reservierung. Nach 1,5 Stunden wurden wir aufgefordert, zu zahlen. Und das war uns nicht bewusst, wurde am Telefon nicht erwähnt. So konnten wir nicht einmal eine Nachspeise genießen. Das war schade, gerade weil am Wochenende und wir Besuch dahin eingeladen hatten.

Sowohl als Einzelgast als auch mit FreundInnen sehr zufrieden. Schnelle Mitnahme auf Weg zum Nachtbus nach Vernissage im Museum für Konkrete Kunst. Pizzen super, Kindern schmeckte es. Bei Besuch vor zwei Jahren top Pasta al dente. In italienischen Restaurants schwerer hinzubekommen als man meint. Im Hof hinten dank Reservierung zweimal mit meinen Volkshochschulkursteil- nehmerinnen vorzüglich gespeist. Ambiente und Flair der Manggasse mit tollem Kino Standortvorteil. Urlaub mitten in der Stadt!

Mega gute Pizza welche in einem Steinofen zubereitet wird. Preise sind passend und die Pizza ist richtig groß. Das Ambiente ist eher schlicht gehalten.

Wir waren am Samstagmittag dort. Es war einfach nur köstlich. Sowohl die zwei Pizzen als auch die Tagliatelle mit Lachs.

Super Essen, nette Bedienung - hier passt alles. Der Laden ist nicht groß und meist gut besucht, daher ist eine Reservierung sinnvoll.

Wir wollten zusammen mit zwei Geschäftspartnern den Abend schön mit einem Pizza Essen ausklingen lassen und hatten Pizza und die teuerste und die so gehofft Beste Flasche Chianti für € 31,50 bestellt. Nach der Degustation des Weines durch einen meiner Partner wurde die Qualität und der Geschmack des Weines negativ an den Service Mitarbeiter kund getan was Ihn aber nicht abhielt die anderen Weingläser zu befüllen! Nachdem Alle anwesenden Gäste an unserem Tisch den Geschmack und die Qualität dieses Weines negativ bewertet haben kam die Chefin an den Tisch die uns attestierte das wir keine Ahnung von guten Wein hätten und doch besser Bier trinken sollten! Nachdem wir nach langer Wartezeit unser Essen (was übrigens in Ordnung war) bekommen haben, hatte uns die Wirtin noch den Tipp gegeben wir sollten dann das Restaurant nach dem Essen zügig verlassen! Dem sind wir (ein ausgebildeter Sommelier und ein Winzer/ Besitzer eines Weingutes) ohne den Wein nochmals zu berühren, unverzüglich nachgekommen. Die Bewertung eines solchen Verhaltens überlasse ich den Lesern! Wir werden dieses Lokal jedenfalls nie mehr betreten.

Mit Abstand die beste Pizza der Stadt! Köstliches Essen (nicht nur die Pizza sondern auch die hausgemachten Nudeln) und dazu tolles Ambiente. Wir sitzen im Sommer am liebsten draußen im Hinterhof, wo man jederzeit einen gemütlichen Abend mit Freunden verbringen kann. Meine Empfehlung ist auf alle Fälle die Pizza Bufala und dazu der Hauswein (Rosé oder Rot) und wenn hinterher noch Platz auch gern ein Tiramisu! Der Service ist immer super schnell und freundlich! :)

Gemütlicher Biergarten super Pizza und Pasta

Für das Essen würde ich 5 Sterne geben wenn es nicht nach Zigarettenqualm "geschmeckt" hätte. Und damit komme ich auch direkt zu meinem großen Kritikpunkt, wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und haben diesen dann im Innenhof bekommen. Leider werden hier Raucher zwischen anderen, essenden Gästen platziert, was den äußerst positiven Eindruck von Essen und Personal doch nachhaltig und eindrücklich verschlechtert hat. Die Pizza war ansonsten sehr sehr lecker und preiswert. Die Bedienung sehr schnell, aufmerksam und höflich. Aber im Jahr 2023 kann ich den mangelhaften Nichtraucherschutz wirklich nicht mehr durchgehen lassen, vor allem wenn mir der Qualm beim Essen in die Nase zieht.

Zentral gelegen bietet La Pizzeria ausgesprochen leckere Pasta und Pizzen. Der Service ist bei jedem Besuch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Interieur ist recht schlicht, aber Essen und Personal machen das locker wett 😉 Es empfiehlt sich zu reservieren oder zeitig nach Öffnung hier zu sein.

Unser Treffen wurde durch leckeres Essen und nette Service abgerundet. Sowohl die Pizza 🍕 als auch die Nudeln 🍝 waren alle gut gewürzt und auf den Punkt gegart! Der Service war schnell und freundlich, wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt! Hier kommen wir gerne wieder - ein großer Dank an das komplette Team 🙏

Even though their meals and pizza are very delicious, on the other hand their service is in amateur level. If it is congested you may wait until half an hour to be served.
