Menu: Very extensive, all Italian standards & the occasional surprise. Cuisine: We started with vitello tonnato, insalata caprese, bruschetta mista. The vitello for 19.50 was, in my opinion, a finely sliced ​​steak, and the tuna sauce was more like a remoulade with a light tuna flavor. The caprese consisted of industrial tomatoes and a slightly better mozzarella, which is a shame, given the tomato season. Main course: tagliatelle, tagliata, saltimbocca romana, and lasagna. The saltimbocca, listed on the menu as "Salt in Bocca" (almost overlooked), our Italian test dish, came in a huge portion with a substantial side dish. The meat was well prepared (pork, but it also says so on the menu), the sauce a buttery sea of ​​white wine, slightly thickened. The tagliata, excellently grilled rump steak, tasted top-notch. The portion was also huge. The side salad served was a large bowl of mixed vegetables with yogurt dressing, not exactly Italian! The tagliatelle came with a tomato cream sauce (Aurora sauce), which tasted good(?), but the presentation could be improved. At that point, you realize you're probably not eating at an Italian restaurant. The lasagna was okay. Overall, it was quite okay.

The bill was paid in full, even though a foreign object in the food caused an injury. This incident represents a unique and extremely negative experience for me. In addition, my colleague's shrimp contained unprocessed intestines. The lack of care in food preparation, especially with regard to potentially dangerous foreign objects, is unacceptable.

My husband and I went to Bad Bevensen for a weekend trip and had dinner here. All I can say is that everything was perfect here! Modern Italian with a large menu. The terrace is very spacious and beautiful and can be covered by an awning when the sun is shining. The staff was very nice and attentive throughout. And the food (we had a vegetarian starter plate, pizza and calamari) was also very good, large portions and beautifully presented. We'd love to come back.

A few days ago I was there for the first time with a friend. From the outside the location looks very pleasant, somewhat elegant. The interior area is just as large as the outdoor terrace. I personally noticed a handful of parking spaces directly on the street. We decided to dine inside the building as the outside area seemed a bit crowded. Personally, I pay a lot of attention to cleanliness. Unfortunately, some of the benches were covered in crumbs from former pizzas. Some of the plants on the window sills are brown and eaten. Of course, it could also have been due to the flies that kept visiting our table. The young man who took the drink order seemed a bit bored, unfortunately it was clear from the way he walked. While my companion treated himself to an Alster, I ordered an apple spritzer. Unfortunately I had to have it reworked after 3 sips because there was no carbonation. The service then apparently refilled the glass with still water, thank you. We both ordered pizza, for around €13/€16 each. So far so good. You couldn't say anything about the taste, but... If arugula was supposed to be a side dish, where did the rest of the pizza go? (see photo) The aioli we ordered with it was tasty. Last but not least, I have to say that as a guest I'm used to being asked about how I'm feeling/tastes. Unfortunately, this didn't happen, even though we were sitting alone inside and there were at least 3 service staff. We had to politely decline a schnapps on the house (regular, or because of us?), drivers and non-drinkers. Conclusion: The location is definitely interesting for a visit every now and then. If you value details, you might want to think again.
