We were there on a Sunday evening (the end of the summer holidays in Baden-Württemberg) with two children. We had a reservation, but it wasn't necessary as there were plenty of seats available. The service was very friendly. The food came quickly. The pasta dishes weren't really hot, but they were just right for immediate consumption. The salami pizza was very large but not above average. Based on school grades, I'd give the entire meal a solid C+.

Food was ok. Not that special that other restaurants don't serve. But what important is here a basic common sense on how to handle customers with respect and kindness. This is something this restaurants lacks. Worst service the waitress are so much in negative energy even if you eat that food you get that negativity and that negative vibes so its worst to go here and get negativity and get depressed. There's bitter place around to try out the food at very good prices and tasty. I do not recommend people to go here and get your mind wasted with negativity behaviour by the waitress. The way they treat you makes u feel shit.

The food was nothing special. The pizza dough was okay, the ingredients on the pizza weren't. I can't understand the 1,600 reviews with 4.6 stars at all. My wife thought the pasta was okay. The service was friendly, and the restaurant and restrooms are nice; it's a bit noisy outside because of the street. The price is rather high for what you get. Only understandable given the location, but I would have expected a bit more from the food.

This pizzeria near the harbor and Konstanz's old town is highly recommended. The pizzas are definitely worth the price. Make sure you come with a big appetite. Large pizza 🍕 and very tasty 😋.

My favorite pizzeria in town! I've been there several times and have always found the service and pizzas to be excellent. However, I sometimes had to request my favorite oils (chili oil and garlic oil) for the pizzas. In the past, they were always included with the pizza.

First of all, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and enthusiastic staff. The food was truly amazing. Saffron risotto and gorgonzola sauce, beyond compare. Spaghetti aglio olio was fantastic. The presentation was also fantastic. In short, if you're in Konstanz...

Excellent restaurant in a strategic location. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well-cooked pizzas, light and easily digestible dough, good selection, and quality ingredients. Pizza and beer for three (obviously excellent) for €60.

Everything was okay overall, but service could have been more attentive in some places. The pizza lacked a bit of seasoning for us, but the toppings were good. The lasagna was cold inside and tasted rather mediocre.

We ordered two risottos, one with seafood, one with saffron and gorgonzola. We decided to split the risottos so we could try them. Both were delicious. Next time we come to Konstanz, we'll definitely have our favorite restaurant. Thank you.

I could give it 10 stars, it was simply delicious! 5 stars for the service and ambiance as well; everyone was very friendly and, despite being on the street, very quiet. If we come to Konstanz again, we now know where to find great food. 👍👍👍👍👍

Food The dishes tasted very good overall. The salad was fresh and well-seasoned, but contrary to the server's previous statement, it did contain duck breast. Furthermore, the amount of sauce was a bit too generous, which partially masked the fresh flavor. The salmon steak was tender and juicy, but the breading was too thick and the flavor wasn't perfectly balanced. Service The server was friendly, but there was a slight discrepancy regarding the ingredients in the salad. The wait for the food was significantly longer than expected, which somewhat detracted from the overall impression. Conclusion Overall, a restaurant with good food and potential if they work on the small details. The fresh taste of the ingredients and the preparation of the fish are particularly positive. At the same time, the coordination of the dishes and the waiting times could be improved.

The steak was supposed to be medium rare – unfortunately, it arrived "well done." The service? Let's just say: just as motivated as the steak was juicy – namely, not at all. It's a shame, we were looking forward to a nice evening, but this turned out to be more of an expensive misunderstanding.

Everything was excellent: the reception, the service, the food, even the espresso. The prices were reasonable by Swiss standards.

As a family, you're simply sent to the back garden area. The front garden area was almost empty, and only older people and people without children were there. My husband, my 2-year-old son, my 2-month-old daughter, and I were there. You feel completely isolated back there, especially since there were constant waves coming from the food waste bin that was just around the corner. It really smelled really bad!

After a nearby competitor couldn't get us a table for the three of us, we called La Piazza. Not only did they have an outside table with comfortable chairs, but they were friendly from start to finish. The La Piazza pizza with Gorgonzola and spinach was excellent. So, no reason to give it less than five stars.

The pizza was okay, but unfortunately lacked any real wow factor. The "spicy" olive oil wasn't spicy at all and didn't add any flavor. Service was very slow—we had to ask for the olive oil three times before it finally arrived. Overall, it was okay, but there was room for improvement.

We've eaten here 10 or 12 times and were very satisfied every time. The dishes in every category (starters, pasta, pizza, desserts) were consistently exceptionally delicious, some even skillfully prepared. We always found the service staff to be very friendly and efficient. If we return to Konstanz, we'll definitely stop by again.

Very tasty food, staff quite friendly, as long as it's not too busy. I've eaten at La Piazza quite often, and the taste was always excellent. What surprised me a bit, however, were the portions. I ordered the pork medallions days before my last visit and got four, which was fantastic! Days later, I ordered the same dish again and discovered that there were only two left. Well, it didn't really bother me. But it still surprised me. The dishes are fantastic, and the drinks are great too. The restaurant's interior is also truly impressive. All in all, really lovely!

The waiter was completely unsympathetic. I wanted an exchange because the Coke had no gas or flavor. They had Coke Zero in a bottle, but the regular Coke was syrup. I wanted the Coke Zero but then had to pay for it, even though I'm within my rights, but the food was semi-good.

An authentic Italian restaurant with friendly Italian staff. There's something for everyone. Pizza, pasta, and a good selection of appetizers. Meat and fish dishes are also available. I was very pleased with the octopus as a starter and the pasta as a main course. Everything was very good and freshly prepared.

The food tasted very good. Unfortunately, we were often "overlooked." That should be addressed!!!

Incredibly bad experience – unfortunately, an outrage We went to this restaurant with high expectations, but were bitterly disappointed. The food took a very long time to arrive. Meanwhile, it felt like some servers took years to even come to the table, even if you called out politely or made eye contact. Most seemed extremely unmotivated – with one positive exception: a young gentleman who at least made an effort. The absolute low point, however, came with the food: There was a mosquito baked into my pizza, literally right in the middle of the cheese. When I reported it, the waiter just gave me a strange look. No apology, no compensation – nothing. As if it were somehow my problem. Such behavior is simply unprofessional. That something like this can happen is bad enough – but how you deal with it is even more crucial. And that was simply catastrophic here. Never again.

For the two of us, as lunch guests, this was a solid A! From the ambiance with music, to the super delicious food and great beer, spicy oil for personal use, and the clean restrooms, everything was top-notch and highly recommended! 👍

Very disappointing. The pizza tasted mediocre and the dough was rather tough. The service was particularly annoying: During our entire visit, we weren't asked for more drinks once – even though our glasses were empty. The garlic oil we ordered never arrived, even after asking for it. The service seemed overwhelmed and disinterested. Absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant in this location and price range. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

The staff, especially the chef, are very disinterested. Our order did not arrive for more than 1 hour and the chef did not show any sincere explanation or interest in this matter. It is a place that is completely focused on money. It is not a place that thinks about customer satisfaction or customer loyalty. I never recommend it.

Four of us went to the restaurant for dinner on Sunday. The welcome was friendly, and we were allowed to sit outside, which was very pleasant given the nice weather. We ordered four aperitifs – two of each the same – as well as two spaghetti carbonaras and two different pizzas. Unfortunately, it became clear as soon as the drinks were served that the service was either poorly trained or inexperienced. Although the order was clear, when assigning the identical drinks, they asked again, "Who wants what?" even though it was obvious that the other two were supposed to receive identical drinks. Such little things simply don't make a professional impression. The aperitifs themselves were fine. The Hugo was very sweet, but I personally still enjoyed it. The pizzas looked good and tasted okay – a solid 6 to maximum 7 out of 10 for me. The spaghetti carbonara, however, was disappointing – it was completely over-peppered and barely edible. It was more like a "spaghetti pepper" than a carbonara. When we honestly expressed this during the clearing, we received only a curt "Oh, I'm sorry. I've already told the kitchen several times." – without any offer of compensation, such as a coffee, dessert, or at least a sign of goodwill. I found that a shame. The restaurant was busy, mostly with tourists – perhaps also locals, which I find hard to understand given the culinary standards. In conclusion: We had a good time at the table – but that was due to the company, not the food. For me, this was probably my last visit to this restaurant. When I eat out, I expect a certain level of quality – both in the food and the service. Neither was convincing here.

The food was extremely greasy and after 1:30 the food on the menu said truffle pasta with parmesan but the only thing that came was a lake of fat - you should eat at the gas station instead.

Delicious pizza (salami & rustic) and good drinks (Aperol Spritz & Hugo) at fair prices. Despite it being Easter weekend, we got a table at 5:15 p.m. without a reservation. Service was just ok: waiter taciturn, long wait for food (approx. 45 minutes) and another 15 minutes to pay. Conclusion: food great, service could be improved.

Were on March 26th. at La Piazza and everything was great. There were also seasonal items such as wild garlic on the menu. All around brilliant service with Kliti and food was simply delicious.

The ambience is really not bad, but the staff leaves a lot to be desired - they seem neither attentive nor sufficiently trained. There were errors when ordering and the general comprehension was unfortunately quite slow. The food is quite expensive, but seems rather cheaply made. I had a truffle pasta that was literally drowned in olive oil and unfortunately didn't taste like truffles at all. However, the main reason for my review is this: In the middle of eating, a cockroach ran into my dress and up my back. This was an absolutely shocking experience for both me and my friends. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. Cleanliness urgently needs to be worked on - something like this is an absolute no-go for a restaurant...

I can't understand why this place has so many good reviews on Google. The service was substandard and unfriendly. We were ignored by the arrogant employees for the first 10 minutes. After eating the completely overpriced food for what felt like an eternity, we had a date with the toilet bowl a few hours later! I cannot heartily recommend the store.

Unfortunately, our visit got off to a somewhat rocky start: We sat down at a set table, which – as it later turned out – was reserved. Unfortunately this wasn't clearly marked and instead of a friendly explanation, we were simply told to leave the table. We were not actively offered an alternative seat, which directly led to confusion and an unpleasant start. The food itself was really good – there was nothing to complain about in terms of taste. However, the service seemed uncoordinated, sometimes unfriendly and not particularly attentive. You didn't feel welcome, which clearly damaged the overall impression. However, the main reason for this review is an incident that happened to my mother: there was a noticeable hair on her pizza. We didn't want to make a big fuss so as not to disturb other guests, so we politely asked the waitress about it. Unfortunately, not even an apology was offered. The pizza was not replaced, no discount was given, and my mother, understandably, could only eat half of it. In other restaurants it is customary to at least symbolically accommodate someone - be it a coffee on the house or a small discount. Here: nothing like that. In addition, my father ordered water, which was never brought despite repeated requests, and he only received his beer the second time he remembered. This was our second time in this restaurant. Everything was great on the first visit - that's exactly why I recommended it to my parents this time. I regret this recommendation all the more because we didn't feel we were treated well - which is particularly unfortunate since many of the employees are actually our compatriots. We would have hoped for more warmth. This review is not intended to be a mere criticism, but rather an honest feedback. The food is good – but the service, hospitality and organization currently leave a lot to be desired. Visit on Monday, March 17th at noon During our short stay in Konstanz with my best friend, we found La Piazza while looking for a suitable restaurant. This Italian restaurant with pizzeria and stone oven is in a prime location, close to the harbor and train station. In terms of price, 'La Piazza' is above average and you can tell as soon as you enter that guests can expect service here. Beautiful, modern, chic tables including decorations are inside the restaurant and at the appropriate time of year there is also an outdoor area. After the friendly welcome from the staff, we were allowed to choose a table and were then presented with the menu. An order: > Coca Cola 0.4l for €5.70 > Kiba (cherry & banana nectar) 0.4l for €5.70 > Minestrone (tomatoed vegetable soup I Grana Padano) for €9.80 according to the website // bill for €9.50 > Zuppa di pollo (poultry soup and vegetable garnish) for €10.80 > Pizza Margherita for €12.20 > Spaghetti truffle I fresh truffle I parmesan for €20.70 according to the website // Invoice for €20.50 > Espresso for €2.90 > Sambuca 2cl for €5.30 Summary: Service: The entire staff was attentive and you always had someone to talk to, sometimes perhaps even too many, as you were constantly under observation, even if this was definitely not the intention. On that day, there was little going on in the restaurant during our stay and the employees bridged this by cleaning all the tables, chairs and wall pictures in the restaurant, which is generally a good thing, but from our point of view it was disruptive when cleaning around the guest. Food: The contents of my chicken soup were basically good, but the meat was a bit tough in places and could have spent a moment longer in the soup pot. We went to La Piazza on Saturday. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. This "Italian" restaurant isn't run by Italians, and therefore the food wasn't tasty. The pizza, spaghetti, and salad weren't tasty at all. The waiters, in my opinion, have no experience at all. Our order was also taken incorrectly. We will definitely never go there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We visited La Piazza in Konstanz on a sunny day and found a beautiful spot on the terrace. The waitress was attentive from the start and immediately came over to take our order. We ordered still water, a small salad, and spaghetti carbonara. The drinks were served quickly, but we noticed that the water bottle had no label. Upon inquiry, we were confirmed that it was tap water—but we had specifically ordered still water, not tap water. The waitress took the bottle back and brought us a bottle with a label. We wished we had been informed beforehand that it was tap water. The appetizer, a small salad, was very fresh and delicious. The spaghetti carbonara was also impressive—a classic preparation with a creamy sauce that hit the spot in terms of flavor. The prices are reasonable for the location and quality: the spaghetti carbonara was around €15, and the salad around €10. For the water and another large drink, we paid a total of €35, which was fine for us. Our verdict: A lovely restaurant with a great terrace, friendly service, and good food at reasonable prices. We deducted a few points for the initial confusion over the water. Therefore, we give La Piazza 4 out of 5 stars and would definitely recommend it.

I have never experienced such bad service anywhere. A waiter takes the orders, the others bring the food, but they don't know where it goes. They carry it around and ask, “Is this your food?” After waiting for an hour we still didn't get our food and was told that we still have to pay for the order if we want to leave. It's just better to eat at a gas station than with them.

I am contacting you because we ate in your restaurant on March 9th, 2025 around 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and unfortunately subsequently developed symptoms of food poisoning! We ate a green salad, a pasta carbonara, a lasagne bolognese and a brownie at your place. Just a few hours after consuming it, my girlfriend and I got: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. I would like to politely ask you to take the incident seriously and review your internal processes, particularly with regard to food storage and preparation. I would also be grateful if you could give me a statement on this incident. I also reserve the right to report the incident to the relevant authorities should this be necessary. Also a refund of the costs incurred. I hope this is a one-off incident and that appropriate measures are taken to eliminate future health risks to guests.

Multiple repeat orders were simply ignored by service staff walking past. The waiting times were extremely long, while other tables were given priority. Overall I felt like a second class guest. Unfortunately, under these circumstances I will not visit this restaurant again. It's a shame, because we actually had a good opinion so far I wrote this review, pointed out several times that I wanted to pay and bridged the long waiting time with this review

The pizza wasn't that bad though. We could have had a good time if we hadn't had to wait an hour to receive the dishes, if one wasn't missing, if we had received what was on the menu and nothing else, if we hadn't been told that there was no carafe so we could charge €8 for it, if we didn't have to ask for everything twice, in short if the service had been decent and at least pleasant.

Long wait, the staff was overwhelmed and didn't know who had ordered what. Only one person could help with the payment, which took a lot of time. The pike perch fillet was dry and tasteless, only the pizza was good. Overall, no recommendation – will not be coming back

Went there for the first time, made a reservation by phone (no last name was asked for the table) when we got there the waitress was annoyed because we couldn't give a name for the table. The waiter was very unmotivated and listless, the order came quickly but didn't really taste good, the cabonara only tasted like pepper and was too salty and the other dish wasn't that tasty either. Unfortunately we didn't like it even though we were really looking forward to it and very untypical for an Italian restaurant that there wasn't any tortellini that we actually wanted to eat, we were very happy and then disappointed after looking at the menu But the ambience was good and the pizza from the neighbor looked delicious
