Nice local restaurant - lots of young guests - very fast and friendly service - good quality of the food - great timing - we were there with a group of 20 people and the food arrived almost at the same time - prices are fair

We were a small birthday party at La Kaz, with our dog and toddler. We really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the service very friendly.

Noise Pollution from Outdoor Drinking Areas – A Call for Consideration in Residential Neighborhoods Dear owners and operators of the surrounding bars and restaurants, dear guests, we are addressing you with an urgent concern: The increasing noise pollution caused by the intensive use of outdoor drinking areas in our neighborhood is massively impacting the quality of life of local residents. What was once welcomed as a vibrant restaurant scene has become a daily burden in recent months. Especially during the week, starting in the early evening hours, it is regularly so loud that peace and quiet are almost impossible. Conversations, laughter, and the noise levels of entire groups mean that after a strenuous day at work, you can neither open a window nor read a book in peace – let alone concentrate on work or relax. Even after 10 p.m. – although many establishments officially close then – it often remains noisy for a long time. Customers linger outside the establishments, chat loudly on the street, call for taxis, or, sometimes under the influence of alcohol, roam the residential area noisily. It becomes particularly critical on weeknights, when most people are sleeping or preparing for the upcoming workday. A special appeal therefore goes out to you, dear guests: Please remember that the restaurants are located in the middle of a residential area – with several businesses right on the same corner. Sound carries far, especially on the narrow streets. We understand that you want to enjoy a pleasant evening – but we sincerely ask you: Be considerate of the people who live directly next to and above the restaurants. A little quieter conversations, leaving earlier, and avoiding loud behavior on the way home make a big difference. Our request to you as a restaurant business: Actively raise your guests' awareness of the housing situation in the area – through friendly information on menus, notices, or your employees. Please strictly adhere to the legally prescribed closing times. Support the prompt clearing of outdoor areas after closing time. If necessary, consider technical measures to reduce noise (e.g., soundproof walls, greenery, etc.). Note on my own behalf: Due to the ongoing noise disturbance, I have already contacted the responsible city council and made the problem clear. If the situation does not noticeably improve in the near future – especially with regard to weekday evenings – I will be forced to file a formal, written complaint together with other affected neighbors. A persistent disregard for the interests of residents cannot and will no longer be tolerated. We urgently ask for your understanding and cooperation. Great restaurant! We were there on Thursday, and it absolutely met our expectations. The food was amazing, and both the waitresses were excellent. We'll be back :)

It's very cramped and extremely loud, which is particularly unpleasant at the high tables. The server was alone and had to help out at the bar for a while, so it was very difficult for her to get by. The food came quickly. The surf and turf salad only had three shrimp, which was very small compared to the salad portion. The salad was delicious, but there wasn't enough bread with it. The water glasses were tiny.

The cheese spaetzle with the pot roast wasn't on the menu, and unfortunately, it wasn't tasty either. The pot roast itself was very tasty. The place was packed and accordingly loud. We were there with a group, and the drinks we ordered were simply left in the middle. That shouldn't have happened. Otherwise, everything was great!

And it tasted excellent. And the kids too. Both the eggplant piccata, the Munich schnitzel, the gnocchi and the children's pasta. Friendly, courteous, quick service. A pleasing price-performance ratio, a friendly restaurant. I like the district.

Immer frisch gekochtes leckeres Mittagsspezial. Immer eine vegetarische Alternative. Im Sommer gibt es auch einen attraktiven Schanigarten.

One star only because of the unfriendly service, a lady with long brown hair. I haven't experienced anything like that in Munich, she throws the plates on the table, questions if you want something sweet with the main course, if you ask for a drink she makes a face like someone is torturing you. Dear LaKaz team, pay attention to how the waitresses treat the guests because this spoils the delicious food.

We often go here for lunch at lunchtime. I haven't actually found anything on the menu that I can't recommend without reservation. Everything was always delicious, but my highlights are actually the pasta dishes! They're fantastic!

I am very disappointed. If I ask the wait staff for a place to have lunch when I arrive, it's certainly not too much to ask for some kind of reaction at the table within the next 25 minutes. Or at least a drink at 25+°C in the sun. If you can't handle it, it's OK, but I'll choose more reliable alternatives in the future.

I can recommend the food, as well as the cozy atmosphere inside and outside. The chocolate cake is particularly recommended. Unfortunately the restaurant may need staff. The waitresses are very friendly and accommodating but can't keep up.

One of my favorite restaurants in Munich to meet friends for drinks, no matter the season. The staff is very hardworking and kind. Their ingredients taste fresh and I am always craving one of their salads!!!

I have to say a very cozy little restaurant. There is seating inside and outside. And the service is very courteous and friendly. Even when they forgot my bacon, they reacted immediately and brought it to me. We were also always asked about our well-being. I also have to say that they still have very reasonable prices and are not that overpriced.

Very nice restaurant. I felt very comfortable when I was here for the first time last week. We were a large group and it was no problem at all to put together a long table from several tables. The starters were really very good and I also really enjoyed the Rösti salad that I had as a main course. I really liked the fact that you can order the salads with either meat or the vegetarian version.

I am positively surprised, the La Kaz clearly exceeded my expectations. On the one hand, the atmosphere here is very relaxed, as is the entire team, which is also very friendly. As for the food, I have to say A1. I had the chicken piccata which was really well prepared. The chicken was juicy and soft like butter, well seasoned and evenly coated with egg. The side salad also tasted great. The other dishes that I have been able to try since then are all very tasty. A clear 5 star rating for me!

Nice restaurant with a clear menu that everyone should be able to find. Every now and then the food could use a little more spice for my taste - but that's a matter of opinion. Many small tables make it ideal for 2 people to larger groups. The price is still reasonable, although more expensive than comparable local ones.

I quite enjoyed this restaurant and its atmosphere. Food was good as well and we had a really nice evening. The only thing that bothered me a bit were the uncomfortable chairs that are quite hard. Please consider getting new comfortable chairs or at least buying seat cushions.

The evening actually started quite well there. Unfortunately, as is often the case in Munich, the tables are tiny and are spaced minimally apart (at least the high tables opposite the bar). We were greeted warmly and served very friendly at the beginning. Aperitif was okay, starter too. We were irritated when, when clearing up, we were told to take our cutlery from the starter plate and keep it with us until the main course. After we were served the main course and a second drink, the service didn't show up for a long time. When I looked around, I saw our waitress at the bar busy with her smartphone. Apparently she had a break or finished work. There were also at least 8 tables in my field of vision where guests like us were sitting with empty glasses. The barman finally caught my look for help and sent another waitress over to us. She took another drink order at our table, the other tables were still not served. The drinks were then served by the barman. When we had finished drinking, I signaled to the second waitress that we would like to pay. She noticed this too, but didn't come to our table. After a long wait, she showed up at the table and asked if everything would be right for us. I then informed her that we would still be happy to pay. The bill was 80.80 euros for 2 starters, 2 main courses (only one starter with meat, everything else was vegetarian), 3 Sprizz and 3 glasses of white wine, which I think is okay, but not particularly cheap either. Since I was really dissatisfied with the service, I only tipped 3.20 euros, whereupon the change was handed to me in a very unfriendly manner with the snippy sentence 'was something wrong?'. Overall, the food and drinks were okay, but not outstanding either. The second spritz from my companion was pretty dead and not lively at all. However, the long waiting times and the appearance of the second service staff, who, after the colleague had apparently finished work, wrote down exactly one drink order and brought the bill, were impossible. I won't go there anymore.

Very extensive menu that both meat lovers and vegetarians/vegans will find what they are looking for. The pulled pork starter is delicious! The staff was very quick, helpful and friendly during our visit, even though the restaurant was full! Only the chairs, which reminded me strongly of my school days 😉, didn't let me linger any longer (hard and uncomfortable).

This place is perfect for lunch. They have lunch menu which varies every day, can be seen in their website. The food was really good, nicely presented and the portion is just enough, not big nor too small. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options as well in their menu. The waiter was so attentive and helpful. The place is strategically located near the ubahn exit. Will definitely eat here again :)

Tolles Lokal, super leckeres Essen, Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Der Service könnte einen Tick schneller sein, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau bei notorischer Unterbesetzung in der gesamten Gastro tut es uns in Deutschland auch mal gut, uns etwas in Geduld zu üben. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Neben dem leckeren, frischen und ansprechenden Essen, möchte ich hier das Personal loben. Trotz richtig viel Betrieb waren sie super freundlich und ruhig. Bitte gerne weiter so! :)

Offers healthy food, big portions definetely.

Wir hatten nur zwei Nachtisch die zwar optisch schön und auch geschmacklich gut waren, allerdings waren sie irgendwie zuu süß. Sonst war alles top, es ist halt sehr laut.

Waren nur zum cocktail trinken hier und super zufrieden.

Das babaganoush und das Münchner Schnitzel waren sehr lecker. Bei den Salbeinudeln waren wir leider nicht so begeistert, zumindest frischer Salbei wäre schön gewesen damit es weniger fad ist.

Ich kann nur immer schwärmen! War in unserer Münchner Zeit unser Stammlokal. Wir waren stets sehr zufrieden mit allem. Die regelmäßig wechselnde Auswahl ist überschaubar und es ist für wirklich jeden was dabei. Frisches hervorragendes Essen, sehr freundlicher Service und gemütliches Ambiente! Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

La Kaz positions itself as a mediterranean restaurant, with other European specialities available (pasta, knoedeln etc). The restaurant itself is nice, with very welcoming outdoor seating and quite noisy indoor seating. The night we went (Fri), the place was pumping and the waiters were really busy. Service was slow, but understandably so given the number of diners. We had in mind to share some middle eastern plates together, so ordered hummous, tabbouleh, falafel, a red lentil and orange salad and bread. The highlight was the lentil salad. We were expecting pita or flat bread but we got 4 slices of focaccia. The tabbouleh was really just plain couscous with a few flecks of tomato in. No parsley or cucumber. Disappointing. Prices were reasonable. So, all in all we were disappointed with La Kaz. It's obviously a hit with the locals, but if you are looking for an authentic middle eastern dining experience, this is not the place for you.

Das La Katz ist gemütlich und hat einen netten Gastgarten im wunderbaren Westend. Das Service ist freundlich und achtsam. Leider ist das Essen etwas lieblos und uninspiriert. Leider, denn das war früher nach Erzählungen von Freundinnen anders.

Durch Zufall, stolperte ich über dieses Lokal, dass nicht unweit von der Kongresshalle bzw. dem Verkehrsmuseum des Deutschen Museums ist.Auf der Karte der Homepage kann man lesen, dass die Küche etwas orientalisch angehaucht ist, womit man mich immer begeistern kann!Anruf, reserviert und gespannt auf den Nachmittag.Vor der International Ocean Film Tour, kehrten wir also hier ein. Da es ein schöner und sonniger Sonntag Spätnachmittag war, entschied ich spontan doch einen Tisch vor der Tür in der Sonne zu nehmen.Schnell war auch die Bedienung am Tisch, brachte die Speisekarte und fragte nach Getränken.Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und es gibt nicht all zu viel, jedoch sollte jeder etwas finden. Suppen, Salate, Auflauf und alles leicht orientalisch angehaucht.Ebenfalls gibt es eine Wochenkarte oder auf Tafeln auch Abendangebote.Für mich gab es Börek mit Sesamsosse, Gelberübengemüse und CousCous.Die Börek waren zwar etwas trocken, was sie dem reinen Rinderhackfleisch schuldeten, sowie war auch der Teller übersichtlich angerichtet. Das Auge das sonst mit ißt, hatte heute Sehstörung! Schade!Geschmacklich war es dagegen sehr gut, CousCous mit genug Biss und Gelberüben gaben einen fruchtigen Geschmack dazu!Der Service, war mit der steigenden Menge der Kundschaft leider heilos überfordert und es entspannte sich erst etwas, als die Verstärkung um 18 Uhr eingetroffen ist.Ach ja, drinnen war es auch sehr angenehm eingerichtet, zwar etwas dunkel, aber mit viel Holz und alles etwas Vintage, was den Raum bzw. das Lokal sehr wohnlich macht!

Eten was zeer slecht nog niet vaak zo slecht gegeten was zeer zout en voor de rest geen smaak was een berg sla op een bord gegooid met nu en dan een stukje vlees wat veel te zout 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲😡

Auf dem Abendspaziergang durchs Quartier kamen wir im "La Kaz" vorbei. Es waren nur sehr wenige Gäste dort, draußen viele Plätze frei. Wir wählten zum Ausprobieren das lokale Bier "Broy", Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen. Das lokale "Broy" ist ein ordentliches Bier, mehr aber auch nicht. Wir wechselten zum "Tegernseer Hell". Die Vorspeisen waren seeehr lecker! Die Hauptspeisen gut anzuschauen und ebenfalls lecker. Die Bedienung kämpfte noch mit Startschwierigkeiten, Speisen wurden falsch geliefert, aber alles schnell behoben und immer freundlich geblieben. An der Straßenecke sitzt man gut im Freien. Dieses Feeling hat man nur in manchen deutschen Grossstädten. Hier passt es.

Seit Jahren gehe ich regelmäßig ins La Kaz, ob mit Familie oder Freundinnen - es war immer schön. Leider hat der Service sowie auch das Essen stark abgebaut. Die Portionen werden kleiner, die Gerichte einfallsloser. Die Kellner/innen sind mäßig freundlich, oft überfordert. In unserem Aperitif (für 6,50) war vergammelte Minze, auf Nachfrage, wurde uns mitteilt, dass sie es selbst schon gesehen habe, aber „sie haben keine andere“. Sehr schade - ich weiß nicht, ob ich nochmal kommen werde.

Von der Lage her sehr einladend, die Speisekarte liest sich auch lecker, der Service war freundlich, die Salate gut, die Portionsgröße meist angemessen. Der Vorspeisenteller ist allerdings völlig überteuert, wenig überzeugend - für 2 Personen ein Witz - schade!

Nettes Restaurant in der Nähe U Schwanthalerhöhe. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und man kann sehr schön draußen sitzen. Die Karte ist überschaubar was ich aber überhaupt nicht schlimm finde - dafür gibt es eine sehr gute Auswahl. Der Service war leider von Anfang an nicht wirklich aufmerksam und fast unfreundlich. Das Essen war schön angerichtet und hat sehr gut geschmeckt- allerdings fand ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz in Ordnung. Alles in allem trotzdem schön und ich würde wieder kommen - vor allem bei schönem Wetter!

Wir saßen draußen, da sitzt es sich sehr gut. Der Service war sehr charmant, hat sofort einen 5.ten Stuhl gebracht, als eine weitere Person kam. Da war es auch nicht so schlimm, dass leere Gläser etwas zu lang übersehen wurden. Eher enttäuscht war ich vom Essen. Die Speisekarte klingt super. Ausgefallenes Pesto, Öl und Dressing aus Orange und anderen feinen Zutaten, dazu eine saisonale Note. Doch weder die beiden Vorspeisen, von denen ich probiert habe, noch die Pasta mit Tentakel und Lachsforelle konnte geschmacklich überzeugen. Schmeckte sehr fad und die Portionen waren überaus überschaubar. Würde man bei studentischem Flair und den gesalzenenen Preise, sowie der Wahl der Portion zw. klein und groß einfach anders erwarten. Dafür war allerdings der Fisch in der Pasta gut zubereitet und nicht zu trocken.
