LÁ GOI Restaurant in Bielefeld

The food is good, not the best sushi I've eaten, but perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is anything but cozy. Everything seemed very cold and empty and it was uncomfortably quiet because there was no music playing so everyone else in the room could take part in our conversation. It's a shame, the Instagram profile looked very promising. However, I am not interested in visiting this restaurant again.

We order here so often that the 5 star rating is really necessary! The food is great and I was particularly impressed by the selection of vegan sushi

It looks more like a snack bar, terrible decoration, there's an Eiffel Tower on every window... Service not professional and the food not good at all. We're definitely not coming back.

Unfortunately the food was only mediocre... the drinks weren't cold... The food lacked spice, despite the advertised spiciness. The salad was dressed with a ready-made American dressing. There are better alternatives!

It looked nice in the photos, but unfortunately it isn't in real life. The wine wasn't cold, our starters were given to the wrong table, where the suggestion that the people there didn't order it wasn't addressed. There wasn't much going on in the restaurant, but everything still took a long time. The starter came after about 30 minutes. The starters were good, but unfortunately the main course was not. The staff was friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed.

We tried ordering from La Goi several times. The food is solid so far. However, the delivery times are adventurous to say the least. We live relatively close to the location. However, they still manage to take over 90 minutes to deliver the food. We were informed via Lieferando that the driver had set off, but it then took him a whopping 50 minutes. Some of the food was cold and burnt. Conclusion: When it comes to delays, La Goi can definitely compete with Deutsche Bahn.

Hello. Unfortunately our visit was not a pleasant experience. Because of the good weather we decided to sit outside on the “terrace”. At second glance we noticed that it was very dirty and unkempt. Dirty tables, broken chairs and a dirty floor including cigarette butts didn't exactly invite you to linger. Maybe you should think again about opening the outdoor area if you don't have the capacity to maintain it. The food we ordered can be described as “okay” at best. The starters and main courses tasted rather bland and lacked freshness.

The food is good and the portions are sufficient. However, I don't find it comfortable here. It seems more like a bistro than a restaurant. The prices are fair. You can also have the food delivered via Lieferando. We will definitely come back again to try out a Vietnamese dish.

Unfortunately neither the staff nor the food is authentic. It didn't taste good, the service was nice and attentive, the atmosphere had something of a sporthein with a shisha bar with a running television. Unfortunately I was very disappointed.

We came for lunch and ate hot beef and Vietnamese noodles with duck - delicious! The price-performance ratio is right. The Mango Lassi is also worth the taste, even if it's not cheap at six euros. We liked it so much that we came back.

I ate here with my family today, the taste of the food was A1. Unfortunately I have to say: there was a waitress responsible for several tables who did her job really well and was very friendly. I just have to mention her, I think The “manager” of this restaurant came at the end and complained to the waitress that she hadn't done her job properly, which was wrong. The manager should change his behavior towards his employees because the waitress served us very politely even though she had a lot to do She didn't deserve the complaining.

Sorry, this is not authentic Vietnamese food. No herbs, but a dressing like Thousand Island... the dish consisted almost entirely of lettuce leaves and warm noodles. There was something very sweet in Da Chanh, like lychee. When asked urgently for feedback, we politely expressed this. The feedback was that we had probably only eaten variations of Vietnamese food so far...

Tested portion of fried noodles with chicken, to take away for €13. I was initially surprised at the high price, but wanted to give it a chance. The service was nice, but seemed uninterested. The noodles tasted ok. The noodles were cut extremely small and there was a lot of chicken breading under the noodles. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit too dry and too salty, while the noodles were completely lacking in salt. The vegetables tasted good and were well fried. Unfortunately, due to the high price compared to the product received, I would not recommend the store.

Unfortunately, the meat is not of particularly good quality and was not edible. The tofu isn't particularly tasty either, overall it's quite bland.

We got takeaway here today. The service was very friendly and the menu has a lot to offer. The sushi looked great and tasted very good and fresh (unfortunately we didn't take a photo). We liked the quality of the food and will happily come back.

Went to La Goi for the first time today. This will definitely be repeated! All dishes and starters were very tasty and the service was very friendly. The decor is a bit simpler, but with the food... ;-) A reservation is advisable. We will be back definitely! Thanks to the La Goi team!

I recently ordered from the sushi shop "LÁ GOI" and I absolutely love it! The employees were incredibly accommodating and delivered my food after the regular time because I didn't have time to do it any other way. What was particularly impressive was that they customized my sushi to my liking without charging an extra charge. The friendliness of the staff is really remarkable, and the sushi tasted perfect. Every bite was a delight! I can only recommend “LÁ GOI” – both the service and the quality of the food are outstanding. Many thanks to the “LÁ GOI” team for this wonderful experience!

Were here with City 4 two. The food was good, but with a lot of waiting time. But there was only one waitress there and the kitchen was also preparing for orders taken away from home. We were in the restaurant for 1.5 hours. The drinks were delicious.

The food looked better than it tasted. Was spontaneously in this shop with a friend from Bielefeld. Was there for the first time. I ordered the last number on the menu (Dark Duck). It was duck with rice and vegetables. I didn't like the food at all. One of the reasons for this was that some of it tasted a bit burnt to me (and some of the vegetables were actually a bit black). In retrospect, I now think it's a cheek to offer something like that for 14.50 euros. And I'm angry with myself for not letting it go back. But who knows what some restaurants will do with the food? Was definitely the first and last time I was in this store. The service was actually quite nice and the furnishings were very spartan...

Food was not delivered!!!!! We waited for more than 2 hours… several times tel. asked. The first time it said “going out soon” and the second time (about 1 hour later) it said “it’s on the way and almost there”. Thanks for nothing. We didn't get any food! So unfortunately NOT recommended!!!

Food was mediocre for me. Reasons: for €14 the portion wasn't filling. When I asked for more rice, I was only offered rice for €2. The young women who served were friendly and did everything they could. However, I would have liked the management to have a better service concept, especially when it came to criticism. Compared to Vietnamese restaurants and in a variety of locations, this one was only mediocre in terms of taste, portion size and value for money for me.

The Vietnamese restaurant La Goi is located in the middle of the city on August-Bebel-Straße in Bielefeld. Since it was very warm, we would have liked to sit outside, but the space on the main street wasn't very inviting. That's why we went in, but we didn't really feel comfortable there. We were the only guests, the furnishings are spartan. Unfortunately, it's not Vietnamese at all. In my opinion the food was mediocre. The taste of the meat was okay, but it was sitting on a whole bowl of pasta that was far too soft and tasted nothing at all. The salad on top wasn't tasty either. I imagine a nice Vietnamese restaurant differently. A pity. The young woman who served us was very friendly.

For me as a vegan, one of the best restaurants in Bielefeld. There are several freshly prepared dishes, delicious lemonades and a friendly staff that you can also joke with.

La Goi has a diverse vegan menu selection. My special requests - I am a complicated eater - are always taken into account. All dishes are freshly prepared, look and taste great. The service is always polite and attentive. We love eating there!

Ate Tom Ka soup and Bun Bo. The soup tasted as if curry paste available in the supermarket had just been dissolved in coconut milk. The taste is flat and uninspired and a little too thin for me. No comparison, for example, to the Tom Ka in the Soul Kitchen in Bielefeld. The beef dish was equally bland. The meat was barely marinated and the only garnish was chopped lettuce. There is no comparison, for example, to the same dish at Locky Umi, where the meat is spicy marinated and the dish is served with fresh herbs (cilantro and mint). Really boring food and the shop itself is rather sparse. It's a shame, because the people there were pleasant and friendly, if rather unprofessional, which I think is okay.

The food is really tasty with a reasonable selection and well seasoned, the service is nice and quick but the ambience unfortunately doesn't invite you to linger. My recommendation is to order, pick up and enjoy at home.

Ordered in Wolt, not really keen on the food here. Nothing about it is Vietnamese , except the name of the food perhaps.

We were very satisfied. The food tasted very good and was lovingly prepared. The service was friendly and accommodating. There are few tables. The atmosphere is somewhat familiar. Parking is of course difficult, but the tram stop is right in front of the door.

We ordered today through Wolt from La Goi at around 7 p.m. The order should come between 8:50 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. I called at 9:40 p.m. and was told there was so much to do, the order would be out in 5 minutes. Now at 10:40 p.m. there is still no food and the restaurant is now closed! Thank you for the competent service! No recommendation.

The food here is fresh and very good. Service also very accommodating. It would like to be a little warmer in the guest room, the music a little quieter, maybe a few candles for coziness. I can still highly recommend this restaurant.

War eine sehr schöne Ambiente, essen war frisch zubereitet und das Gemüse war frisch und knackig. Da kommen wir gerne wieder.

Ich war da gestern mit mein Freund essen und hatten Pho bestellt das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service war super.

Leider war das Ambiente vor Ort absolut nicht Vietnamesisch/ asiatisch. Das Essen war teilweise nicht selbst gemacht und nicht originell. Dementsprechend hat es in Ordnung geschmeckt, war aber nichts besonderes. Wir waren leider enttäuscht. Die Bedienung war neu aber bemüht.

Es laufen Käfer an den Fensterbänken, was sehr ekelig ist. Wir waren zu zweit essen. Das erste Gericht kam und das zweite mit 15 min Abstand. Meine Freundin war schon fast fertig mit ihrem Essen, bis dann meins kam. Der Green Detox schmeckt echt sehr wässrig und ist auch, aufgrund der Stückchen, nicht angenehm zu trinken. Die Gerichte waren dafür ganz lecker. Aber im großen und ganzen kan n ich es nicht empfehlen.

Essen schmeckte nach nichts, total ungewürzt, nichtmal Salz am Reis und alles auch noch lieblos angerichtet. 2 Sterne für die großen Portionen, welche allerdings aufgrund des faden Geschmacks nicht aufgegessen wurden. Getränke haben 25 Minuten gedauert, obwohl nur ein weiterer Tisch besetzt war und ein Getränk aus einem Flaschenbier bestand. Der Service war teilweise etwas verplant, hat bei 4 Tischen den Überblick verloren und uns eine Vorspeise gebracht, welche nicht bestellt wurde, zumal sie unsere Vorspeisen 5 Minuten vorher vom Tisch genommen hat. Das Ganze wurde dadurch getoppt, dass eine Küchenschabe immer wieder über den Tisch gekrabbelt ist. Wir können uns die guten Rezensionen nicht erklären und sind enttäuscht.

Das Essen war wirklich super lecker und war eine große Portion! Das Restaurant nicht wirklich liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr kühl. Man fühlt sich eher unwohl. Die Bedienung war wirklich sehr unangenehm. Alles durcheinander gebracht, Getränke kamen erst mit der Vorspeise zusammen, sie saß irgendwann gelangweilt an einem Tisch mit ihrem Handy. Also 1 Std keine Nachfrage ob wir etwas trinken wollen, Nachtisch oder Ähnliches.

Wir haben vor Ort gegessen, es war sehr lecker und der Service war auch super. Klare Empfehlung! 😊

Essen schmeckt gut nur das Restaurant ist als Asiatisch ausgezeichnet soll aber vitamesisch sein So hat es dementsprechend auch geschmeckt Service sehr langsam und unkonzentriert machen einen unprofessionellen und lustlos Eindruck

Hatte mir Gebratene Nudeln mit Entenfleisch bestellt und dazu Frühlingsrollen und es schmeckte vollzüglich und man hat sein Essen sehr schnell serviert bekommen und die Ambiente ist sehr angenehm dazu sitzen und sehr Zeitgemäß.

Habe mich mal durch die Vorspeisen getestet. Die Falafeln und Minirollen ziehen mir nicht so den Lachs von Teller, die sind eher Standard, aber die Summer Rolls sind grandios! Ich würde die Dinger am liebsten morgens, mittags und abends essen und dabei Völlerei betreiben wie die alten Römer. Genauso genial wie die Summer Rolls ist die Sauce, die dabei ist. Kann man die Literweise kaufen? Ich würde gerne alles nur noch in dieser Sauce ertränken! Ich würde in allen Kategorien 10 Sterne geben wegen der Rolls leider geht das nicht!

Also erstmals, super Kellnerinnen top sofort bedient worden, essen sehr frisch und lecker und war schnell am Tisch. Hätten pho und golden Chicken gehabt man hat gemerkt das deren Gemüse frisch ist und nicht zu lange gekocht wurde find ich echt super und würde es nur weiter empfehlen immer wieder gerne top top top
