La Dolce Vita in Aurich

I've rarely eaten such delicious Italian food! Lovingly cooked and seasoned with the finest ingredients, and appetizingly presented. Both the main course and dessert were an experience! It was also comforting to see how accommodating the staff were in finding a suitable seat for our disabled friend, until we were perfectly seated in the imaginatively designed outdoor area (to the right of the house, not even discernible from the outside). Thank you so much for this magical evening, which was truly worth the money!

I've never eaten such delicious spaghetti aglio e olio. My wife's salad was also amazing, both visually and in terms of taste. One minor criticism: the salad had pineapple on it, which my wife doesn't like and wasn't on the menu.

The best Italian restaurant in Aurich, and for us, the one with the best value overall. Whether inside or outside, it's always very cozy with excellent and fast service. Everything we've eaten so far has been delicious. An absolute recommendation!

We visited this small, charming restaurant for the first time today – but certainly not the last. The menu served was surprisingly clear – and for once, it didn't include a pizza... A handful of dishes per category; here, less is more; you won't get lost in 20 or 30 dishes. Very nice 😊 The appetizer of fried anchovies was excellent and generously sized. The bruschetta was also generous and, unlike usual, balanced with spices, a true delight. We were a bit divided about the dressing for the side salad, so they served a sample first... WOW! - another opportunity to stand out from the crowd, something we haven't experienced before. Tagliatelle with saddle of rabbit – how amazing that was. We enjoyed the last of the sauce with the remaining bread with the side salad, and the tagliatelle with scampi was also impressive. Overall, it was a successful visit; the service was attentive and quick. A visit to the restaurant, which is located a little off the beaten track, is highly recommended.

Very pretty place. The seating is wonderful in the back on a green terrace. Unfortunately, I chose a vegan dish: vegetables topped with cheese. Pretty tasteless, unfortunately. My Italian restaurant at home makes it much better. The waiter was quite overwhelmed by my friendly criticism. But the others at other tables had different dishes and seemed very satisfied. Therefore, my review doesn't necessarily count. Perhaps you shouldn't order vegan dishes at a good Italian restaurant.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit. Some of the waiters seemed very disinterested. The food was a complete disaster, with little to no seasoning. The pan-fried vegetables advertised as a side dish definitely hadn't seen a pan. They were cooked and carelessly garnished with a few pieces of Parmesan cheese. The meat on the grill was very dry and tough (except for the small piece of chicken, which was juicy and well-cooked). All in all, I'll probably avoid another visit.

Everything's perfect here. 👍 But it's also more expensive than average restaurants! The food and atmosphere are worth it. 😋

A little off the pedestrian zone in an alley - but an absolute recommendation for guests who appreciate ambience, great food and very good service.

It was extremely delicious. You could have eaten your fill of lamb gravy. It was fully booked, so service was a bit hectic at first. But it was skillfully overpowered with charm. The price is more than fair for the quality of the food!

Great food, you get relatively little. Especially the children's menu (see photo, fries with schnitzel) is expensive for what you get. Atmosphere is good and what you get is tasty.

On our wedding day we had delicious food and drinks and we also eat here on other days.

Nothing Italian about this place. Food rather mediocre. Prices high. Across the street there is a much better option. PS short correction, the other restaurant is not opposite Dolce Vita but almost once you get to main shopping street.

I've been there three times so far and it's always been wonderful! The atmosphere is great, whether outside on the terrace or indoors. The service is very good and the dishes have a certain something. An Italian without pizza, but with specially selected other dishes. Unfortunately we didn't like it very much and we had to wait a long time before we could even order.

It was a dream, we sat outside under trees and umbrellas very relaxed. The service was very courteous and really quick, about 10 minutes until we could eat. The food was also a highlight, everything was delicious and very well prepared. We would love to come back. Worth a recommendation!

Had a very tasty meal again today. The side salad was wonderfully prepared and the bread that came with it was still warm. That's how it should be. For the main menu we had plaice and once the fish plate. Great served on warm plates. Sauce in a small carafe so you can dose it individually. Everything prepared very well and tasty. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection and garnished with spring onions, tomatoes and parmesan. Slightly spicy which went great with the fish. Everything is fresh, very tasty and wholesome. The service is quick and friendly. A place to feel good. We have already booked the next appointment again.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Ristorante La Dolce Vita cucina italiana in Aurich. Although it is a bit off the pedestrian street, this charming restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is cozy and authentically Italian, which is underlined by the tasteful furnishings and the idyllic garden. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making me immediately feel welcome. Obwohl unsere telefonische Reservierung vom 14.01.25 für den 25.01.2025 um 17:30 Uhr für 3 Personen nicht auffindbar war, haben die Angestellten alles möglich gemacht, um uns 3 Plätze zuzuweisen zu dieser Uhrzeit, obwohl alles anscheinend belegt war. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Das Ambiente in dem Gebäude sehr schön. Das Essen (Pasta und Lammkarree), Antipasta als Vorspeise, sehr lecker und interessante Geschmacksnoten. Preise in der höheren Kategorie, Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis aber durchaus in Ordnung. Durchaus zum Empfehlen das italienische Restaurant "ohne Pizza"!

Stopped in spontaneously with two small children. Were warmly welcomed. It's not a "pizza Italian". A nice selection of food, nice ambience. The food was delicious and the children were also served very well.

I've been there twice so far and, despite good recommendations, I've had bad luck with the food (e.g. pan-fried vegetables/pasta including sauce that were too hard and therefore barely edible were rather tasteless). We will definitely give the restaurant another chance because of the positive reviews. Fortunately, the service was understanding and friendly. It's a shame though. As an apology last time there was at least a free dessert. Update from Nov 2024: Ate squid this time, unfortunately again not much more than average because it was too "rubbery". So the usual, outstanding reviews regarding the food still don't really make sense to me.

A quality Italian restaurant! I highly recommend it! The setting is warm, the servers are very, very friendly, but then the dishes are delicious! We go there very often with my partner and we always come out with a big smile. The meal for two is relatively expensive (it costs around €20-30 main course, dessert and a small alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink for one person) but the quality of the products is truly of exceptional excellence! We won't stop going there, we're sure of it!

Unfortunately I don't know where the good rating on Google comes from. My wife and I went there because of this and are very disappointed. The food was mediocre, the service was very unfriendly. We were given table 7 even though other tables were free. It's the table right by the toilets and a passage. I think there are a lot of bought reviews.

Today we went to La Dolce Vita in Aurich for the first time. The restaurant is in the second row away from the pedestrian zone and has a nice, quiet garden where you can sit well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had spaghetti carbonara or zander fillet, it tasted really delicious. We will definitely come back.

The food was ok, as there was simply not enough on the plate for the price and please use pork when frying (especially with a veal schnitzel. I have another point: the cook should know that the stalk of iceberg lettuce should not be included on a salad plate. I was really disappointed then. The toilets were top, lots of facilities.

Although it actually comes up a bit short in terms of space, it was designed in such a way that it's not noticeable at all. We ate outside. Even though we are from Aurich, none of us expected the outdoor terrace... It was our first date, so to speak. But great outside! You don't feel cramped. And it was designed very nicely. ... Very cozy and you feel really comfortable 🤗🌹 About the service: I've read so many positive things about it. That they have fun and enjoy it. And I give them a lot of credit for that. It's not an easy job with actually miserable working hours. I'm still coming to the but. And I would be happy if you read to the end: When you sit out there. You get the feeling that 4-5 waiters are responsible for the few tables. And they run endlessly...! However, around 9pm on Friday evening, some orders get lost halfway through. Even though they make it to the cash register. 🙈 I think that with all your extremely good reviews, we may have just had a not-so-good evening. But all in all, we really enjoyed the evening with you and all the impressions and felt really comfortable. Otherwise we wouldn't have stayed with you for 3 hours. Yes, it was a very nice evening 🤗 I would have liked to give 5 stars everywhere... Unfortunately, the evening didn't quite deliver that. Even though you tried hard... But somehow the worm was in there. For whatever reason...
