La Dolce Vita in Wolfsburg

The two of us went there for the first time. The service was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Special requests were happily accommodated. The food was freshly prepared and very, very tasty. The wait time and prices were reasonable. We'd be happy to come back. We went there again and it was just as great as the first time 👍

As an Italian, I can confirm that they are Italians, even though I don't speak German and they speak very little English, so we chose Italian. The place is very reminiscent of our hometown, with real plants and a fresh rose on the table. I also saw some plastic plants, which I don't personally support, but the Italian courtesy with a rose and a candle on the table was evident. The menu itself, like in Italy, has off-menu options, which in Italy is always a sign of quality and freshness. Here, they offered me swordfish with a good tomato, olive, and caper sauce, accompanied by steamed vegetables. It was a truly tasty dish, although I could have used less capers, which gave it a slightly acidic taste. In the end, I mopped up the sauce with bread, as it was delicious. For dessert, they brought me a coffee affogato, which was very good and I spent a fair amount. I don't usually go to Italian restaurants abroad, but I was in Germany for a month for work and needed an alternative to meat and potatoes.

I always enjoy coming here. The pasta is still very al dente for me, but everything is delicious. The owner is very friendly.

I met the young, "pretty" daughter on the train...I'll visit her sometime for something to eat...I'm looking forward to it.
