I have been here a couple times and it’s a super cute, family-run restaurant! I went a few months ago and they made spaghetti carbonara that was decent, so I tried to order this again and the food I received was very disappointing to the say the least! Traditional carbonara is made with egg, Parmesan and guanciale. I’m not sure what happened but the eggs were cooked and it was made with cold cut ham — it was literally like eating scrambled eggs and ham over rigatoni.

The most amazing experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Service was impeccable, atmosphere was perfect. The hardest part was deciding what to order. Everything is so good. I got Bolognese sauce with rigatoni pasta and beef tenderloin. So delicious 😋. Topped it off with a macchiato coffee and tiramisu. Family owned restaurant and the staff treated us just like family too.

In my 14 years of living in the Kaiserslautern area this family owned and operated restaurant in Ramstein is my local and regional favorite. The quality of the food and the friendliness of the family is incomparable to other Italian restaurants around. THE best Italian cuisine and fantastic schnitzel. Everything that can be made fresh is made fresh. Excellent choice of Italian wines. They are only open Thursday - Sunday so I highly recommend a reservation. You will not be disappointed.

Honest review: We are people with refined taste and we love this Italian restaurant out of all of them in Ramstein. Just outstanding for the price as well. We have come at different times, with groups of people as well as date nights. We have never had issues with service and are always able to make a reservation same day even hours before coming. We have ordered pizza, pasta, seafood, wine, cocktails and all of them are marvelous. THE TIRAMISU IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST TIRAMISU I’VE EVER EATEN! I have tried so many and it never compares it is made in house and this family makes you feel like you are family. The music is always tasteful and enjoyable, we have also sat inside and outdoors. Just perfection, we will be regulars!

This is a great Restaurant in Ramstein, but beware Do Not Order Online. Someone has stolen the owners website!! Repeat Do Not Order Online Through Liverando etc.

We have been to La Dolche Vita multiple times. We love it here. The food and wine are great and we are always treated like family. Please be advised that another restaurant has associated itself with this restaurant, but there is only one La Dolche Vita, and it’s located in Ramstein-Miesenbach. Do not order from Lieferando!!! The outside terrace is lovely during the warmer months. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food with excellent service, make the drive to Ramstein. Highly recommend!

Amazing food from a lovely welcoming Italian family. I was very surprised at how inexpensive this place was and the food was out of this world. I had the Donna Rosa pizza and I could barely finish it it was very filling and the best pizza in town. So if your looking for some genuine authentic Italian I highly recommend 🍝🍕🍷

Außer wirklich guten Gerichten sind die Portionen auch noch üppig. Der Lachs war genau auf den Punkt, das Gemüse bunt, genau richtig (leicht bissfest) und frisch. Der knackige gemischte Salat, den es zum gegrillten Lachsfilet mit Gemüse dazu gab (was nicht alltäglich ist), war frisch, beinhaltete feinst geschnittene Karotten- und Radieschenscheiben, Zwiebelringe, Tomaten und Gurken. Das dazugereichte Pizzabrot war würzig und lecker. Dieses familiengeführte Restaurant ist als Geheimtipp absolut empfehlenswert!

We had a large party (we made a reservation before hand) and everything wonderful!! The food, the service, the family, the tiramisu, everything was top notch. All the food was delicious and you could taste the love. I got the cannelloni which was superb, but everything that came out looked delicious I wanted to try everyone’s food! Parking was easy. They have a lot by the restaurant or a larger lot across the street. They also have outdoor setting with a little waterfall.

We visited this lovely restaurant during our first month of arrival and loved it....COVID hit hard and we didnt get back. For our Anniversay we forgoed our Mom and Dad datenight to enjoy this evening of dinner with our fiur children. We decided to revisit a great memory from our last time at La Dolce Vita. And DEAR GOD - AGAIN, they did not disaapoint! The most tasteful dishes we've had as a family of 6 here in Germany. This Italian Diamond in the rough continues to blow our mind. Even if the food was not so great - we would return for the Customer Care. The hospitality and personal care is beyond expectation. They simply lived on us from the moment we walked in. I had the 5-Star Lamb Chops. My wife had the delicious Fettuccini Alfredo, Kiddos had Ravioli, Steak and Pizza. We left full and happy. I wish we took photos!

Ein wunderschönes Ambiente, in dem man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas, das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und die Pizza gehört zu den besten die ich je gegessen habe. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man spürt die herzenswarme italienische Gastfreundschaft!

I've been to many places in Germany and Italy many times and this was possibly the best restaurant I've eaten at. The family built most parts of the restaurant. They were friendly, conversational, recommended wonderful dishes and the taste was absolutely amazing. Everything was seasoned perfectly and was portioned very well. Nothing greasy or overcooked and nobody was smoking in the restaurant. Everything seemed priced appropriately. They take American dollars or Euros or credit cards.

We love this place! The Gorgonzola Gnocchi and the Lamb Chops are our usual choices. Staff is friendly and service is great. Recommended for a hot date or causal night out.

I eat here regularly and I am happy each time. I am greeted with a smile and the food is always delicious. I love how they recommend food if you aren't sure what to get and the wine is amazing! I don't usually drink red wine, but the wine here is so good. Its the only place I drink red wine! The steaks are tender and melt in your mouth. The pasta is made to order and the service is fantastic. They are the nicest people that serve authentic Italian food. My friends love the pizza and always want to eat here.

We ate twice now in this small but cozy restaurant, it's has that real Italian feeling. Our son likes the usual food as pizza and pasta and that's tasty and good, but we had the chateaubriand and it's just perfect. The girl who served us speaks several languages and makes the Italian experience complete. Forgot to take a picture of our food tho.

Fantastic authentic Itallian cuisine! If you're in the area, it is a must go. Dont miss out on this hidden gem in Germany. They were short staffed today and the owner was working in the kitchen like she had magical chefs helping her. She made all fresh meals of different variations at the same time. Incedible. Cant say enough about this wonderful gem. The waitress, the daughter, also was the only one on the floor as well. Keeping up with everyones orders speaking perfect English, Italian, and German. You cannot go wrong eating here. Fantastic food, great service and beautiful atmosphere. Definitely make a reservation if you have more than two in your party. Family-run business. Make sue you ask for the Panna Cotta for dessert! YUM!!!!
