The place is nice having an indoor and outdoor. The service is good but food took so much time and waiters are friendly. I ordered a carbonara, they add ham instead of bacon, the taste was not really a carbonara... The rump steak cut was very good. The variety of red wine is very limited and the bottle we tried was not balanced at all.

Hello, we were there for the first time today. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. However, the bill was somehow inaccurate. They charged us more than we were supposed to pay. Is this because of the VAT?

A great restaurant. A first-class service with a* rating. Warm and friendly. The food tastes incredibly good. The suggestions for the daily specials are also top-notch. This time we had an antipasti platter for four people. Highly recommended. I'd even give the aioli six stars. I would deduct one star for the ambiance because it's right on the street. But that doesn't really detract from the overall experience. Where exactly does the terrace end? The area in front of the house, facing the street, is very well screened by green plants and a winter garden. It was our first time here and we received a very warm welcome.

We've rarely been served so nicely. The food here is excellent and delicious. The ambiance is also very authentic and cozy. We felt very comfortable. There's no comparison to Ca'Del Re in Düsseldorf or L'Osteria. The pasta, pizza, and salads here taste far better. The value for money is excellent. And there's plenty of parking at the fairgrounds. So, everything was fantastic.

I don't even know where to begin. We were there today for a birthday party. The decor was super cute, cozy, and the place was lovely to sit in. We had bruschetta for starters. It was beautifully prepared and tasted absolutely delicious. For the main course, we chose the No. 8: salami with ham and garlic. The crust wasn't too thick, and the pizza wasn't too thick or too thin. Taste-wise, 10/10! To finish, we had a delicious cappuccino. This was also extremely good. The waitress at the beginning was very nice, attentive, and courteous. However, I would like to highlight the waiter, who doesn't just do his job, he lives it! Attentive, friendly, chatty, and super welcoming! Stay as you are! The pizza maker even came out of the kitchen and sang in Italian for my partner twice! Again, a huge compliment for the attentiveness and hospitality! For €80 + €10 tip, the evening was more than worth it! It was our first time here, but certainly not the last. I wholeheartedly recommend La Cucina!

Yes, always recommended. Very good food and chefs, and attentive service. We've been going here for almost two years and have never been disappointed. The wine recommendations were always spot on, and even when it was busy, the service was very attentive. We highly recommend it. Wine prices are on the high side, though.

We visited La Cucina and it definitely won't be our last visit! The food was incredibly delicious – we've rarely eaten such authentic Italian food. Each course was prepared with love and tasted simply fantastic. The service was also excellent: very friendly, attentive, and warm. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. We particularly loved the atmosphere – cozy and tastefully decorated inside, with a large, beautifully landscaped terrace outside, filled with herbs and flowers that give the whole place a Mediterranean flair. The value for money is absolutely spot on – more than fair for the quality and ambiance. Thank you for the wonderful evening – we'll definitely be back!

Three of us came here to eat. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and there were beautiful flowers.

We were there with three adults. Nice pizzeria with a terrace. We were immediately assigned a table. The server also took our order relatively quickly. Drinks and appetizers arrived fairly quickly. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case with the main courses, and they didn't arrive nearly at the same time. The food was very good, though. We found the prices for both food and drinks to be too high.

The best Italian restaurant in Neuss, by far. We had a pizza and a pasta dish. We also had pizza rolls with aioli beforehand. The pizza rolls were nice and warm and very tasty. They were served with aioli and green olives. The aioli is delicately seasoned with various herbs and is very tasty. The olives are marinated with thin slices of garlic and go perfectly with the aioli. The pasta was a culinary delight and made you feel like you were eating in Italy. All the ingredients seemed very fresh. The pizza was simply incredible. Thin and crispy base. Even the crust was thin and crispy, even after the pizza had cooled a bit. They definitely use a special flour in their preparation. (In my opinion, it might have been imported from Italy.) The location isn't that great because it's located at a major intersection. The service, however, is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. A definite recommendation, and we will definitely eat there again.

We were very surprised by the price increase. La Cucina has always been expensive, but these days the value for money is no longer right for what's on offer. A shame! A Pizza Vegetaria costs €19.90 (listed on the website as €15.90), which is a surprisingly high price...and the ambiance outside doesn't match the prices.

Update 2025: We came back after a year. The food continues to be excellent. Only the drinking/eating ratio is absolutely wrong. The drinks are overpriced. 2024: The service was courteous, the food was excellent. The ambience is nice but very loud. We'll definitely come back.

High-priced pizzeria but great pizzas

This restaurant in Neuss offers unbeatable value for money and, in my opinion, is the best choice for an excellent dining experience. The food is of exceptional quality and impresses with its exquisite flavor. We were served an unexpected bruschetta, which later turned out to be subject to a charge. This did not detract from the overall positive impression. However, upon reviewing the bill, I noticed that I was charged for a beer that I did not consume. I will clarify this with the restaurant.

We were there yesterday with 4 adults and 4 children. There were starters, various pizzas and salads. Everyone enjoyed it. Especially on the appetizer platter you could tell that it was freshly prepared and not just opened a can and just beautifully arranged, as is the case with some others. The service staff were also friendly and attentive. It's rare to see that everyone is uniformly and neatly dressed. Unfortunately we don't live close by, but maybe we'll come back when we're passing through.

Super delicious food, nice staff

We recently ate at a really great restaurant and had a really nice time. The reception was super friendly and we were taken straight to our table. Everything started off really relaxed...we had barely sat down and the first drinks were on the table. The service was really great…super attentive and very warm. What I found particularly cool was that the waiter noticed how interested I was watching as he opened a new bottle of limoncello. He spontaneously offered me a small glass to try. That was a really nice gesture that I will remember. The food was also just great. As a starter we had bruschetta for four...well prepared and really tasty. My main course was tagliatelle with broccoli and chicken. I enjoyed it fantastically. There was also a fresh pizza roll with which I was able to empty every last bit of my plate. The dessert was the highlight... a tiramisu that was not only really tasty, but also served really nicely. At the end there was a little surprise...an extra limoncello from the house. Little things like this really make a visit special. All in all, we had a thoroughly successful evening. Great food, great service and a really cozy evening. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Mediocre. Service very nice, but not attentive. We came for the first time with 4 people and ordered bruschetta for four people as a starter. After a long wait, the waiters wanted to serve us the main course. We referred to our starter. After a short confusion we were told that the starter had been forgotten and whether we would now like to eat the main course. We asked the service to take the main course back and serve bruschetta as ordered. Then 7 bruschettas were served for the four of us (see photo). I didn't have a bruschetta myself so that my guests could each eat two pieces. It would be more professional to serve 8 bruschettas for 4 people. According to the menu and invoice, the price for "bruschetta for two people" is €14.50, steep if not every guest gets at least two pieces of bruschetta. The bread for bruschetta is usually toasted and rubbed with a fresh clove of garlic. I've eaten bruschetta many times in different places, but unfortunately I had to bite into a very spicy piece of garlic here (very unpleasant), this method of preparation surprised me a lot, that shouldn't happen. The main courses were okay, the portion sizes were manageable, tasty but nothing special. Even if the menu didn't say that all pasta dishes were garnished with arugula. Luckily we liked arugula. Dessert was delicious and beautifully presented. Ambience cozy, simple, loud acoustics due to lack of tablecloths/curtains that could block the sound. Prices a bit overpriced for the service (we had a waitress, probably a temp and a waiter). We probably won't come again. Too bad.

During my brief stay in Neuss last September, I had dinner at La Cucina and was so satisfied that I returned the following two evenings! The cuisine is of excellent quality and generous, and the servers are very friendly, smiling and warm. This is the first time I have found an establishment in which the cuisine and service deserve nothing but compliments! The tuna and spinach pizza is delicious, the pasta with shrimp, spinach and onions is succulent and you absolutely must try the paella, very hearty, in which the freshness of the seafood and its perfect cooking should be highlighted. This is the best paella I have ever eaten! The tiramisu and cassata are a real treat. The value for money is quite satisfactory. In addition, this establishment has a few parking spaces, which is very practical. I therefore very highly and warmly recommend La Cucina pizzeria to lovers of Italian cuisine. If I have the opportunity to stay in the region again, I will return with great pleasure. A big congratulations to the cook and a big thank you to the waiters for their kindness!

The restaurant is stylish and modernly furnished. The prices are good and the food was extremely tasty. You can really feel the hospitality at celebrations, there are singing and laughter and you feel at home. The menu is not too full and has the perfect dishes. We will be very happy to come back

Very good pizza, tortellini spinaci deliciously seasoned with plenty of vegetables (mushrooms, spinach and lots of garlic) and light sauce. Staff attentive and quick, very friendly. Pleasant atmosphere with a view of the open kitchen. We'll be back!

An absolutely fantastic experience! The food was outstanding – authentic, fresh and full of flavor. The pizza was perfectly crispy, the toppings were plentiful and the ingredients were high quality. The homemade pasta was equally delicious and had the perfect texture. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere cozy and inviting. We ate there with 4 people a while ago. The pizza I had didn't convince me, the other 3 were happy with the food. It's "Italian cuisine", but not an Italian restaurant, that's what you should know. And when I read that criticism is responded to with threats, even if it exaggerates a little, I get heartburn.

Very attentive and nice service. “La Cuccina” pizza was great as was the “Pasta al Curry”. The presentation of the tiramisu was a work of art and tasted top notch.

To be honest, I can't understand all the positive reviews. The antipasto was mixed kitchen leftovers, the dried Parma ham from the packaging, and warmed vegetables from the jar. The prawns with garlic try to mask the non-existent freshness...terrible. The pasta cooked to the limit until soft, full of garlic (burnt) and a lump. Immediately after trying it I had a stomach ache. The best thing was that we returned all three plates virtually untouched and didn't even have the decency to at least agree on the price. 122€ for a starter and 3 plates of untouched pasta, 2 beers, water and a rhubarb spritzer is outrageous. Insolent answers from the waiter included. As an Italian, I can give the advice: take a screwdriver and unscrew the “Italian cuisine” sign. There are no Italians working in the kitchen and it shows. This has nothing to do with real Italian cuisine. I already have a stomach ache.

Mega! My husband and I actually wanted to eat there for his birthday and try out a new place. We had to cancel at short notice due to time constraints - so I called and ordered something to pick up. It was ready after 20 minutes and really extremely tasty, well seasoned and the special request “meat-free for the starter” was no problem either. The staff was super super friendly and it looked cozy inside too - next time we'll be there! Thank you 😍

Since we have a family member in a wheelchair, we can easily fit at all tables at ground level All the employees are extremely nice and helpful.
