It was always delicious. Unfortunately, when there was a complaint, it wasn't handled well. It wasn't remade, just the over-salted sauce was removed and a different sauce was used. Unfortunately, you could taste it being completely over salted because it had been absorbed into the meat. I put the food to the side and didn't eat it. I would have preferred if I had just gotten what I had always eaten as a regular customer and was always really tasty. The bill actually showed the food completely spoiled with salt. I was horrified, paid and left. Since it was always good, I went back and now changed the review. It was good again. A chef can have a bad day. Before (5 stars): You are welcome here as a customer. Very attentive staff, the food is tasty, the price is right and we now go here more often. It's nice to still have restaurants like this. Thanks!

My wife wanted to eat a good pizza again. So we decided on this small, unassuming Italian restaurant. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and received a very friendly welcome and service. The pizzas were very good. In total, we had two large pizzas and three drinks for €43. I was happy to round it up to €50. We gladly accepted the offered nightcap—two grappas. Thank you for the Sunday without cooking.

A visit to Ristorante iLCampo. It's an absolute must if you're in Kaarst or the surrounding area. The preparation of the dishes is unique, it doesn't matter whether you choose a simple pizza, pasta or meat dish. My choice on my current visit was pizza. Very quickly I was given an unusual “greeting from the kitchen” with homemade garlic oil and the beginning of a pleasant taste explosion on the palate was started. The very well-topped pizza was served after a short wait without the quality of the base suffering. The staff's unsolicited inquiry as to whether I wanted home-made oils for seasoning rounded the whole thing off. Even though it was very busy, the service was always courteous and friendly. The only drawback I have to criticize is the volume, which is why I can only give it 4*. A small acoustic renovation would be urgently needed. Otherwise, the Restaurante iL Campo in the allotment garden is an insider tip.

Unfortunately not a good experience. We were there for a birthday with a large group of people. The soups we ordered were not delivered. Vegetarian antipasti only came with meat and fish and were actually not antipasti like you would expect. The wine was really bad. I left it there. It was also very loud and uncomfortable. All in all, unfortunately not a good experience.

It was delicious, starting with the pizza and the freshly tapped Bitburger. I can only recommend it, always a relaxed atmosphere for guests of all ages 😊

I've been looking for a "decent" pizzeria for a really long time and I was very positively surprised at Il Campo, I've rarely had such a delicious pizza with plenty of toppings, the service is very attentive, I'm looking forward to the summer and the outdoor area, everything is easy to reach by bike . But be careful, parking spaces are in short supply but with a little planning it should work. I will definitely come back there more often.

Staff very friendly, food always good, from pizza to pasta and meat, as well as dessert. We were brave and tried garlic soup, it was worth it, very tasty. The restaurant is hidden in an allotment garden. Therefore parking spaces are sometimes overcrowded. Reservation essential.

We have never been disappointed. When we are traveling in the Düsseldorf/Neuss area, this restaurant has now become a must for us. We are more than satisfied with the quality and portions. Great service, attentive and friendly staff, the food came quickly and was hot, freshly cooked and extremely tasty. Good portions! But if you don't specifically want to eat there, you won't find the restaurant in the allotment garden area. However, it has the charm that it is remote and when the weather is nice there is no street noise, but you can sit comfortably in the countryside. We'll be back!

Il Campo is a real insider tip in the region. It can be easily reached via the A57 motorway or public transport. There is a sufficiently large parking area right in front of the door. Friendly, strong service and good quality

This restaurant is awesome. The quality and price of the food are really great, but the service, more specifically our waitress Mersina, was just delightful. She made our first dinner in this place a wonderful experience. Her smile and kindness was the cherry on top. Thank you for everything! 👌 an Italian pearl in the middle of an inconspicuous allotment garden. “Small & fine” that sums it up. We were here with 20 people and ended our go-kart event. What was really impressive was the very warm and professional appearance of the junior boss, who did a great job with us, because not only were we a large group, we also had a few special requests and what's more, we were in a hurry at the end 🥳⚽️ ( EM 24) It was a great highlight, everyone enjoyed it (the menu offers a very wide selection) the atmosphere is very appealing and has nothing to do with the usual pub flair of an allotment. The service was very quick, attentive and left nothing to be desired. We have saved this “hidden” gastronomic pearl and will definitely come back, also because of the beautiful garden, which we unfortunately couldn't use today because of the rain. Wir waren heute im IL CAMPO und es war alles wie eigentlich immer sehr gut reichlich und lecker . Was mir nun aber aufgefallen ist ,auf der Rechnung,die Preise beim Essen und auch der Getränke stimmen mit der Speicherkarte im Internet nicht überein! Alles ist etwas teurer geworden. Das ist nicht so schlimm aber sollte korrigiert werden. Doch wir kommen gerne wieder zum IL CAMPO !! Danke für die liebenswerte Bedienung und dem Schnaps aufs Haus.

Have eaten here many times and have mostly been quite satisfied. Unfortunately something happened to us today that should never happen. We ordered steak that was so rotten that the entire table of 12 people smelled it. Offering rotten meat is the very last thing!! The chef must have smelled the strong smell of the meat and served it to the customer anyway. We will never visit Il Campo again. Shame on you!!!

I have been visiting the restaurant for about 15 years. Unfortunately, il Campo is no longer an insider tip, so you should make a reservation before visiting during peak times. Parking is available, although a bit difficult when the weather is good as the restaurant is in the middle of a beautiful allotment garden. The culinary quality on offer here is absolutely top class. Starters (the snails are extremely delicious), main courses and desserts are very good and affordable despite the quality. The service is extremely courteous and you never feel neglected. If you are looking for a restaurant with Italian cuisine that serves pasta, pizza and steaks (!), you have come to the right place.

What can I say, the restaurant is in a garden area and has a large beer garden. It was reserved and the table wasn't ready yet as a large birthday party was also present. Everything was sorted out as quickly as possible so that we could sit down. The service is friendly and nice and the drinks came quickly. We waited over an hour and a half for our food. The food was very good. However, the tables with the old tablecloths simply remained lying in front of us and no one cleared the tables. Even when the service was asked about it, it didn't change anything. That doesn't make things quite as comfortable. With fewer visitors or without company, the inn is definitely really good. Unfortunately, things were a bit hectic for us, which made the whole stay not so great.

Were there today with three people. The service was friendly and accommodating. They quickly brought us the menu and took our drink order. The menu is diverse, there is something for everyone. From pizza to pasta, from meat to fish. We had the medallions with shrimp, spinach, artichokes and cream sauce, pork tenderloin with Parma ham and sage wine sauce and the lumberjack steak with barbecue sauce and fried onion. All three dishes were tasty and filling. The prices are completely okay. With drinks we paid just over €80. At the end there was a limoncello or ouzo from the house. We'll definitely come back.

Waren mit 9 Personen dort Essen. Keine Probleme bei der Bestellung. Man hatte sogar noch Ohren für Extra- Wünsche. Der Service war schnell obwohl jeder Tisch besetzt war. Das Essen kam für alle Zeitgleich. Es war sehr schön angerichtet. Alle waren begeistert vom Essen. Vielen Dank. Kommen wieder.

Wir waren früher schon mal hier, dann kam Corona, nun waren wir wieder hier. Gute, bezahlbare Restaurants findet man nur noch selten, Il Campo ist eines davon. Angefangen beim Ambiente, man sitzt im Sommer herrlich draußen im grünen, kein Straßenlärm, umringt von einer Gartensiedlung, drinnen ist auch alles sehr gemütlich, sauber und einladend. Das Essen ist, von Pizza über Schnitzel, Nudeln bis zum Salat, alles empfehlenswert. Das Cordon Bleu ist sehr lecker, normalerweise geht die Panada hoch sobald die Fritteuse oder Pfanne kommt, hier ist das Cordon Bleu bis oben hin voll mit leckerem, zerlaufenem Käse. Der Salat und das Dressing sind prima, die Pizzen sind mega. Nun kommt der Service, wir können nur sagen : mega, spitze, manches 5 Sterne Restaurant sollte hier mal in Schulung gehen. Selten erlebt das man so aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und überaus freundlich bedient wird. Selbst bei voller Terrasse und Stress bleibt nichts auf der Strecke. Fazit : Wir können es vorbehaltlos weiter empfehlen, kommen immer wieder sehr gerne hierhin. Weiter so, wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne zu Euch.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, die sich große Mühe gibt, dass man sich dort wohl fühlt. Die Gnocchis und das Risotto sind sehr deliziös. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
