Only the ambience is nice. Otherwise: sat for 25 minutes and was ignored. Drinks taken after we got in touch. Ordered draft beer - was sour; Ordered food without champions - there were plenty of them; Ordered cocktails - got mixed up and had flies in them; no apology or accommodation whatsoever; Portions are sometimes very small and too expensive; hardly any dressing on the salad - very tasteless; Orders only possible if you make your presence known; Tables were not cleared; Bottle of Gerolsteiner water 7 euros! Never again!

The last time we were there was two years ago and that was a lot better. Unfortunately we were unlucky this time. There was something wrong with 3/6 dishes. A seafood platter for €17.50 with just a handful of pieces of squid and a mussel... The meat platter for €17, after which you can still eat a kebab because it's SO little. And a lasagne that had a neutral taste. There was a 3cm piece of sharp bone in the flesh of the meat plate. We were looking forward to the food, but were unfortunately disappointed. The service was friendly and tried hard, but some of them barely understood German. When asked about the food, there was a round of drinks, but that doesn't make up for the fact that you end up paying €175 for 6 people. The ambience was nice, probably newly renovated. Comfortable chair-armchairs. We probably won't come back.

Unfortunately, the quality of food decreased substantially since we had last visited about one year ago... I would guess that the kitchen team has changed entirely. Now the quality is quite low, we even had to send one sauce back because it was not fresh, the meal was not better than you get in a fast food place for half the price.

Good day The main course was delicious, but the starter was a bit of a letdown, instead of garlic dip I got another dip that didn't taste remotely good. When I asked what was there, the waitress replied very unfriendly > that she had no idea about it, it came from the kitchen. At this point I would have wished that she would have informed herself and not answered so snappily. The waitress generally didn't seem particularly motivated, I noticed that in her working posture, she stood at the reception yawning and the strange answer to my question and when I asked her if the food tasted good, I answered accordingly and there was no counter question, she just looked at her billing device. However, the ambience was nice, you could sit comfortably inside and there was also seating outside.

The food was very, very tasty :) you were always in a good mood after such delicious food. Cocktail was also very good. The restaurant's decor was also very nice and the ambience was great. Only the food was a bit warm. Nice employees.

The food was excellent, unfortunately the toilets were a disaster. I think you should take a look there too from time to time.

Had a delicious lunch today at La Cuba in Neuwied. The selection of Cuban specialties is very large and diverse. You can choose between meat, fish or vegetarian. Everything tastes super delicious. The service is very friendly, competent and fast. Always my pleasure!!!!

We ate at La Cuba again on Sunday. The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We would love to come back.

Gold food though more Mexican than Cuban

Good selection of dishes. Nice ambience. Unfortunately the music was a bit loud. I find the chairs a bit too uncomfortable. If the restaurant is busy, the food and drinks take a long time. Sometimes the friendly waitresses seem to have a thing or two to tell each other. The food is good, plentiful and with sufficiently large portions. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us, nor did the cocktails or the service. The menu is a smorgasbord of Cuban-sounding dishes, but also pizza and pasta. Unfortunately, that doesn't fit at all. Many dishes have a curry cream sauce, which also surprised us. - There was Greek tzatziki with the potato wedges... Unfortunately, the dishes we ordered were not a highlight in terms of taste. The cocktails (Pina Colado, Ipanema, Cuba Special) tasted of either sugar syrup or anise/ouzo, even though ouzo wasn't on the ingredient list. The service only partially cleared away empty dishes and glasses, and reordering was difficult. All in all, we unfortunately found no reason to come back.

Spontaneously got a table for 2, unfortunately in through traffic... We were able to order straight away and the food arrived quickly. There are even 2 vegan dishes on the menu. There was a surprising amount of service staff there. The atmosphere of Cuba is very well captured...

In the unfortunately poor Neuwied City gastro industry, this is a delicious restaurant - cocktail bar.

They managed to check out a reservation and simply sent us away. At least the competition got the money.

Ordered La Cuba Special to take away. I have never had worse food for €18.50, an absolute disgrace!!! The wedges are from the supermarket (Netto or similar). The sauce is totally watery and tastes bland. The chicken breast fillet was more like a third of a chicken breast and dry too! Add a few onions, pepper strips and a few mushroom strips. The side salad was ok, but the dressing was from the supermarket... The whole thing looked so unappetizing... I would be ashamed to offer something like that!!! Never again!!!!!!

Went there for dinner with friends this evening. Food was very tasty. Very careful and super friendly staff. My girlfriend dropped the knife and quickly got new cutlery. That was very attentive. We'll be happy to come back

Very tasty food, service always friendly and quick. Unfortunately, it's often overcrowded, which is why you can only eat and then the next people are waiting. No comfortable sitting together possible. Also order drinks without ice, otherwise there will be more water in the glass than anything else...

What the cuisine there has to do with Cuba is a mystery to me. When I saw dishes with curry cream sauce on the menu, I should have listened to my feeling and gone. But know about it. So I started with the mixed starter. If there weren't nachos on it, I expected the plate to be in a Greek restaurant. Please, dear kitchen, if you offer pepperoni, please don't pickle them from a jar. A few more vegetables and a few warm champions rounded it off. For the main course I decided on a salad with sheep's cheese, walnuts and passion fruit dressing. What happened next really took it to the extreme for me. In a bowl of fried dough there was then: A handful of green lettuce, a few leaves of Lollo Rosso, 4 green olives, 2 peppers, three pieces of sheep's cheese and about half a tomato. The whole thing with a watery dressing, which didn't develop much of a flavor on the salad. Anyone who thinks that the sheep's cheese is creamy and has an intense taste is mistaken. It was difficult to identify the watery mass as coming from a sheep. Thank God I was only in the area for work and so I won't be coming back to the area anytime soon.

La Cuba is a cozy restaurant with delicious food and first-class drinks. We were a large group of 12 and although the food was delicious, unfortunately we had to wait a long time for everything. The service team could manage waiting times better. Overall though, we had a lovely time and enjoyed the food! 🍽️🥂

Food was very good and tasty. Price performance ok. Service wasn't attentive. Everyone could only drink one glass (we were eating with 5 people). We would have liked to drink more, but apparently they didn't want to serve us. A pity!!

The food was once again very tasty 😋. We also had competent and friendly service. The food was good and served in a reasonable time. A large cola costs €5.50 here, which is a lot, but unfortunately normal now. Since we have the BmyKoblenz voucher book, we received a dish for free and got away cheaply 😀. We can definitely recommend the restaurant for anyone who likes Mexican cuisine.

Rustic restaurant with lots of Cuba decoration

Starter nachos and pepperoni baked with cheese, served with salsa and garlic dip. We had the 100 and 103 as our main course and shared both dishes. Despite the large number of guests, the food was served relatively quickly and was very tasty. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. We were completely satisfied and would happily recommend it to anyone.

I was very shocked about the food. We ordered and less than 2 minutes later the food was on the table. So it was clear to me that e.g. B. the potato wedges are already pre-fried and only need to be thrown briefly into the deep fryer to get them hot. Unfortunately you couldn't taste it, as the crust was quite firm. The breaded calamari was okay, but that's not art. A meat dish that we ordered also didn't come to the table freshly made and the seasoning was unfortunately very poor. Cocktails still good.

We were looking forward to dinner together and wanted to try a new place. In short, my daughter immediately rejected the meat from the 'Rollo' because of the strange taste. The son, daughter and wife felt sick after not eating all of their food. And that for 1 10 euros. We won't go back here

A wonderful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. I've known the establishment for a long time and was happy when this Cuban restaurant moved in here. The food is great, the cocktails are fresh and tasty and the price/performance is great. We really enjoy eating there.

Sehr lecker Tisch reservieren am besten vorher sehr ausgebucht

Die Preise für Getränke und Speisen sind sehr Moderat. Die Bedienung ist bemüht und freundlich. Leider haben wir das falsche Essen erhalten, ohne Probleme haben wir dann unser richtig Essen bekommen. Anscheinend passierte das bei mehreren Gästen im Restaurant. In der Frauentoilette hat man Gefühl auf der Erde zu sitzen. Ich hatte die Nr. 37 Rollo. Nächstes mal versuche ich Pizza, falls Ich nochmal hingehe.

Wir waren schon viele Male, auch mit größeren Gruppen dort und sind von dem Ambieten und dem Essen begeistert. Heute wieder mit 7 Personen - dass man aber den Rest einer Pizza, eingepackt in einem Stück Alufolie und dünne Tragetasche , bezahlen muss (auch wenn vorher angekündigt und es "nur" 50 Cent kostet), habe ich bisher in unserer Stadt - wir sind ja keine Großstadt - bisher noch nicht erlebt.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert. Als wir im Restaurant angekommen sind wurden uns der reservierte Tisch zugewiesen, dieser war sehr ungünstig direkt neben dem Eingang. Das Lokal hatte noch weitere Tische die zur Verfügung gestanden hätten. Aus Platzgründen könnte die Zuweisung nicht gelegen haben. Soweit so gut, wir haben Cocktails bestellt, diese waren sehr lecker und dazu den "primer Plato" sowie den Hauptgang. Leider kam das Gefühl von Hetze und Eile auf, den ca. 5 min. Nach dem der Prümer Plato serviert wurde folgte der Hauptgang und die Bedienung wollte ohne zufragen den noch reichlich gedeckten primer Plato abräumen. Diese Geschehnisse haben leider zu einem negativen Erlebnis unsererseits geführt. Deshalb kommt für uns ein weiterer Besuch im La Cuba leider nicht in Frage.

Gaaanz leckeres Essen! Tolles Ambiente! Aber leider wurde uns ein Termin für 13:30 vergeben, um 14:35 wurden wir förmlich rausgefegt.... Das war sehr unprofessionell! Eine Stunde reicht nicht, um mit 11 Personen gemütlich essen zu können....:(

Ich war mit meiner Familie schon drei mal hier. Das ist aber schon mindestens ein Jahr her. Es war von der Ambiente und den Speisen okay. Halt mal was anderes (cubanisch). Darum kamen wir wieder. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Die Ambiente ist sauber und ansprechender als beim letzten Besuch, und die Karte ist überarbeitet worden. Ein abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte, top zuvorkommends Personal, und eine kulinarische Spitzenleistung der Küche. Ihr habt uns überzeugt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden euch auch mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Ich war das erstemal hier essen. Vorab denke ich, dass es natürlich eine Geschmackssache ist... Wir hatten reserviert, der Raum war frisch, mir zu kalt, und es hat von der Tür sehr unter den Tisch gezogen. Es ist hier sehr laut, nichts für ein gemütliches Essen. Das junge Personal war nett. Die Räumlichkeiten empfand ich als zu altbacken und ungemütlich. An der Deko könnte man eindeutig arbeiten. Ich finde es ebenfalls zu dunkel. Die Tischlampen stören, stehen im Weg und zudem war der Akku leer. Unser Tisch wackelte sehr. Essen kam lauwarm an und es war eher durchgenässt und matschig (Nr.90). Die Salatbeilage war sehr sehr sparsam und das Joghurtdressing schmeckte nach Fertigprodukt.

Essen und die Cocktails sehr lecker. Nette Bedienung. Das Ambiente gefällt mir nicht so, viel zu rustikal und nicht gemütlich. Wenn das Lokal voll ist, wird es laut.

Wir waren nach einer Veranstaltung im Nachbarort abends auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant. Um 20:30 h ist in Neuwied leider nicht mehr viel los. Zum Glück sind wir dann auf eigene Faust durch die Innenstadt gegangen und haben gesehen, dass im La Cuba noch einiges los war. Wir wurden überaus freundlich begrüßt und bekamen die Auskunft, dass die Küche noch auf ist. Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend bedient, die Getränke kamen schnell an den Tisch, die Bedienung stellte zusätzlich eine Lampe zum lesen der Karte auf den Tisch. Die Vorspeise war frisch lecker und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Die Hauptspeisen waren schön angerichtet und dufteten schon sehr verführerisch. Die Essen (verschiedene Rollos) waren total lecker, frisch und saftig. Ein wahres Erlebnis. Wir waren begeistert! Wir werden auf jeden Fall das La Cuba wieder besuchen und bei unseren Freunden empfehlen!

Hallo zusammen. Wir waren heute im La Cuba essen. Wir wurden sofort in Empfang genommen ,sehr nettes Personal, !. Die bestellten Getränke waren in 5 Minuten da. Das bestellte Essen in 15 Minuten.Frisch gekocht, heiß lecker und sehr reichlich. Dieses Restaurant kann man wirklich empfehlen, gerade auch wer Kuba mal nahe sein möchte. Wir kommen wieder!! Danke an den Koch und das Personal.

Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, einschließlich unserer 82jährigen Begleitung, die noch nie mexikanisch/ kubanisch gegessen hatte und z.B. erstmals Nachos probierte. Eines der wenigen Lokale, das samstags mittags geöffnet hat, es war eher leer. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, das Essen kam schnell, sehr gutes Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis. Auch für Vegetarier einige leckere Gerichte abseits der üblichen Verdächtigen im Angebot.

Essen war ganz gut, aber nicht weltbewegend. Getränke und Service ok. Alles in allem recht nett.
