Very interesting menus. Just keep in mind that some dishes are served cold.

The dishes were plentiful and delicious. The waiters were attentive. But I thought the water was expensive; I can't remember if it was €8 or more!

Great food and service. The atmosphere was a bit loud.

Everything was incredibly delicious. We ordered Trio Ceviche as an appetizer, which was already enough for three people. The sauces are fantastic. For the main course, I ordered Aji de Gallina, which was very, very tasty, and all the portions were quite generous. We were all very pleased with the food (especially the Lomo Saltado, Ceviche de Salmón con salsa passion fruit, and pork belly). Because it was my birthday, I ordered passion fruit mousse. It was very generous and incredibly delicious. They even served it with a cake display. The Pisco Sour could be a bit better. Otherwise, everything was perfect.✨️

Delicious, authentic, creative, and cooked and presented to a very high standard! The flavors were all so well balanced. The appetizer portions are really generous, by the way. Two can easily be shared by three people if you're just a little hungry, and then everyone can have a main course. The service was very friendly. It can get a bit noisy in the shop, but it's a nice, lively atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Is a bit of the expensive side compared to what I’ve paid for Peruvian food in the past, but the food is delicious. The tables are a little clustered together not a lot of room to move around when you go use the restroom or go out for a smoke, you need to be interrupting other tables to move around, however, the food was amazing and worth the visit.

The food is impressive across the board, fresh and flavorful. I'd especially like to highlight the dessert, the cold and hot chocolate ball: a large portion, ideal for sharing for two, and simply heavenly. We'll definitely be back!

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Frankfurt! I'd love to eat here every day. The Aji de Gallina is amazing, as is the Pisco Sour. That's my favorite combination, but everything else there is also incredibly delicious.

We ate there for the first time and had an all-around fantastic experience. The Peruvian ceviche was truly delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. This is my favorite Puruan restaurant in Frankfurt. The ceviches are fantastic. The service is friendly and fast. The outdoor area is cozy. You feel completely at home. I'd go back anytime.

Loved the food and drinks. Service did apologise for being a bit slower than usual due to illness. However it still felt very slow and not attentive. I don’t mind waiting for food but a waiter not glancing at our table for over 30min was unfortunate since we wanted to get the check. However I would still recommend this place for great South American food and drink.

Da tanzen die Geschmacksnerven Cha-Cha-Cha! Dieses kleine und feine Restaurant (unbedingt reservieren) besticht durch ausgefallene und gekonnt hergestellte Gerichte. Ausgewogene Würzung erlaubt allen Komponenten, zum Zuge zu kommen, die Cheviche sind frisch und wunderbar angerichtet. Der Service ist (etwas tappsig) flott und von fröhlicher Freundlichkeit. So wurde der Abend zu einem kulinarischen Erlebnis. Und wenn man etwas kritteln will: Wenn schon mit 1,5stündigen time-slots bei der Reservierung gearbeitet wird (turnt mich immer etwas ab), sollte man trotzdem 5 Minuten vorher ein erstes Getränk erhalten können. Aber das kann den ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Abend nicht trüben. Insgesamt ist La Cevi etwas hochpreisig, aber jeden Cent wert! Vielen Dank, wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder!

The restaurant is good, but a little expensive. Some dishes were too small and poor for the price. The cocktails were good.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Frankfurt! Great service, great atmosphere, very friendly staff! The ceviche is delicious and I recommend it as a starter :). Then, my absolute favorite soul food dish, Aji de Gallina, and don't let the description "Peruvian Chicken Fricassee" put you off, because the dish is truly delicious, with finesse and has nothing in common with a German chicken fricassee. And don't miss the: Bola de Chocolate frio y caliente (hot and cold chocolate ball), which is not only refreshingly delicious but also truly entertaining.

Delicous Food and value for Money

Disappointing – Expectations Unfortunately Not Met We reserved a table for four at La Cevi on a recommendation. When we arrived, however, no one knew about the reservation. The man at the counter reacted rather indifferently and simply said, "Pick your own." Since I'd heard so many good things about La Cevi beforehand, I went with correspondingly high expectations. The first impression was all the more disappointing: The tables were set without tablecloths – I find that inappropriate for a restaurant in this price range. The menu was pleasantly compact, which suggests freshly prepared food – a plus. However, the prices are quite high, so you can expect a lot in terms of both quality and taste. For my starter, I had the Causas con Pulpo al olivio anticuchero (P5). The squid – albeit a very small piece – was tender and well-seasoned. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were ice cold and disappointing in taste. The picture continued with the main course, the Lomo Saltado (H1): The entrecôte was cold, tough, and completely unseasoned. The potatoes were also cold. For €33, I expect a much better dish—not only in quality, but also in presentation and taste. My three companions also found the food consistently cold and bland. Conclusion: The value for money here is unfortunately not at all right. When I paid, it was downright painful to spend so much money on an overall disappointing meal. I was really looking forward to the evening—it's a shame that La Cevi couldn't live up to my high expectations.

We keep coming back for the scallops in Parmesan foam and the tender ox cheeks—our two absolute favorite dishes. The service has always been friendly, and in the summer, the outdoor seating is nice. Sometimes you can wait a bit long for food/drinks, and overall, we find the prices a bit high for what's on offer. Hence, a solid 4/5 stars.

One of the best kitchens in Frankfurt, with an incredibly diverse range of flavors, and everything is delicious. The Conchitas and the Octopus are especially recommended. Super friendly service!

The lomo saltado was mediocre at best. The potatoes were undercooked in the center, as the chunks were too large. There were no Peruvian desserts on the menu. A shame — I won’t be coming back.

We were recommended this place by my cousin (we are both Peruvians), however the experience was quite disappointing. The service was not that friendly, even when we requested to clean the table the waiter tried to come up with an excuse and looked at us for 1 min until he finally decided he was ok with cleaning the table. (Also not a hello at the beginning just a “we are closing the terrace in 1h!). Food wise, while the sauce for the lomo saltado was good albeit a bit salty, the huaincana sauce was also good, the beef we asked well cooked was practically burnt and had been thinned into very thin slices taking away the nice texture of a lomo saltado. There were only two (overpriced) desserts on the menu which was very disappointing. Hygiene: we went to the bathroom, and I was utterly disgusted. As soon as you entered the bathroom it smelled like sewer, there were papers around the sink and on the floor, but the worse was the toilet itself, it was unclean with full of water (or pee?) surrounding it with hairs on the floor. I understand clients can be gross but it’s the restaurant’s responsibility to maintain the cleanliness of the bathroom throughout the night. At this point I regretted eating there because the saying is true: dirty toilet, dirty kitchen. Pricing: outrageous and exorbitant. A lomo saltado for more than 30€ is insane (and nearly 36€ for the one with the huancaina tallarines/noodles). Do not get me started on the Inka Kola at 7€. I get this might be “exotic” but in no way does the quality justify this price. Sure in Peru this is much much cheaper but we live in the Netherlands and there amazing Peruvian restaurants (with quality food and proper hygiene!) have a lomo saltado between 20-25€ depending on the restaurant and an Inka Kola for around 4€. There is even a high end restaurant called “Callao” from a Peruvian famous chef Jaime Pesaque (who has the famous Mayta restaurant ranking 41 across the world and 13 in Latin America) in which the lomo saltado costs 30€ (but again, famous chef and high end restaurant justifies the price). Adding to this that the Netherlands has a higher cost of living than Germany, it makes absolutely NO SENSE to have the pricing this restaurant offers specially for the quality of the food (and service). Very disappointed!

Unfortunately, it wasn't so good for me. The ceviche was salty and the lemonade was very, very sweet. I was a bit disappointed with the service; Latinos are usually friendlier. The atmosphere was nice. And the price was expensive.

Excellent food although a little expensive

Great restaurant, large portions, great flavors, a combination of fish with fresh fruits, with lots of lime. Not cheap but worth it.

After trying ceviche in Mexico (even though it's originally from Peru), I've been craving delicious ceviche and seafood ever since. Based on the excellent Google reviews, we chose La Cevi – and it completely met our expectations. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and very attentive. All the dishes were extremely fresh, delicious, and prepared with lots of love. Even though the prices are quite high, I would love to return and try more of the delicious Peruvian cuisine.

A delicious Peruvian restaurant. We went there out of curiosity, as Peruvian cuisine meant nothing to us. I found the fish dishes slightly better than the meat dishes (which are very similar to German cuisine). There's also a selection of vegetarian dishes. A small highlight was the pisco-based cocktail, which seems to be quite popular in Peru. The ambiance is modern and pleasant. The service, however, deserves a slight deduction, as we had to wait quite a long time (from receiving the menu to bringing the bill after we tried to pay). But we were there on a very busy day. You feel very comfortable in the restaurant and you also have the opportunity to sit outside. The menu is very clear and there is something suitable for everyone. I had wanted to go to “la Cevi” for a long time and had reserved a table because there was a special occasion. The food was good and the service too. Until the moment the waiter poured the hot mango sauce over my friend's lower leg instead of on the dessert. Afterwards he asked us to go back because it might splash when he tried to pour over the dessert. We did that and still we got splattered with the sauce. The waiter didn't apologize and said that people would love it and that we could have seen how it worked on Instagram beforehand. When we asked him to talk again because we didn't want to be soiled by a dessert and there was still no insight from him and no apology, he told us: we could pay, leave and not have to come back. Since we don't know and are not used to this type of service, resentment spread and the conversation became a little louder. The waiter then wanted to discipline us. We now asked to speak to the manager, who was first described as in-house, then out-of-house. We should complain in writing. I then called the number on the business card and the doorbell rang. The manager answered the phone and said he was aware of the situation and would stand behind his employee. No excuse here either. An offer was made to cover the costs of the cleaning. It was suggested to us that we should accept the offer, otherwise he would change his mind. I hung up, we paid and left, deeply disgusted by the way this restaurant treats guests. The manager was too cowardly to come to the table and de-escalate, the waiter who said “puta” after us as we were leaving and a restaurant that seems to be doing too well for this behavior to be allowed. A clear disappointment for €130.

Nice, not too big restaurant. Friendly and attentive service. Anyone who likes fish will be thrilled. But there are also dishes with meat, as well as vegetarian dishes. We were pleasantly surprised by the Peruvian cuisine, which was unknown to us. It's definitely worth trying out. The parking situation is, like everywhere else in the area, a disaster.

Probably the best Peruvian restaurant in Frankfurt. The Ceviche and Arroz de Mariscos were really amazing. The causa de pollo was incredible, one of the best I ever had. However, the Lomo Saltado was a bit underwhelming, and the Bola de Chocolate dessert looked better than it tasted (too sour and very little chocolate). Also overpriced. 8.50 for a bottle of water was a bit ridiculous. Expect to spend 80-90 euros per person.

I visit Peru regularly and therefore know the local food. And I can say that if you like Peruvian food, this is the right place for you. My Peruvian wife also gives full marks for the food. 👌🏼

Food was really good, very tasty, and it did not take long to be served. Pisco sour was refreshing and "light". The price is more on the upper side (at least for the main dishes), but the food quality justifies.

Delicious Peruvian food... national dish cevice is also part of it... not cheap

This is my second visit, and all the food is delicious and the staff are friendly. I whetted my appetite with a refreshing pisco sour and finished the meal with Maracuya mousse. It was a truly satisfying meal. The total cost was about 145 euros, including two pisco sours, two glasses of wine, ceviche as an appetizer, two main dishes, and one dessert. Although the price is a bit high, I highly recommend this restaurant for its atmosphere, taste, and generous portions! All the most important thing! Wir fangen gerne mit Pisco Sour und Ceviche als Vorspeisen an. And dieses mal haben wir auch Maracuja Mousse mit Vanille Eis probiert und es war sehr erfrischend und lecker :)

Essen war gut, Preis-Leistung überhaupt nicht. 3 kleine Schälchen Cevice für 28,50 und ein Wasser für 8,50? Total überzogen. Service OK, allerdings in gebrochenem Deutsch und es war sehr kalt im Restaurant. Schade, leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Everything so delicious! The creamy seafood rice was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and gave us some recommendations and one was the seafood rice, my favorite. Can't wait to come back :)

Realmente se sentía como un pedacito de Perú en una calle alemana. El servicio era excelente para decir al menos (los servidores eran muy amables, pacientes y están comprobando si todo está funcionando (es una pequeña ventaja si sabes español para una experiencia completa, pero hablan alemán, inglés y varios idiomas también)). Para la comida, yo como peruano, estaba muy contento con ella. Desde el plato fuerte, hasta el postre y las bebidas, no solo todo funcionaba sin problemas, sino que todo tenía la mezcla perfecta de sabores. El precio puede ser más alto para algunas personas, pero es, personalmente, de calidad en un plato. En resumen, no te pierdas este lugar, comer peruano es comer bien, solo ve y disfrútalo, porque personalmente, cuando regrese a Frankfurt, regresaré, con hambre.

Delicious food, a friendly atmosphere and you feel welcome to stay all evening. So why only 3 stars? Afterwards I noticed on the bill that instead of a 0.25 glass of cider, a 0.5 glass was charged. There was also a beer on our bill that neither of us had ordered. We didn't have to pay for the beer, but I didn't notice the mistake with the cider until later. Not a big problem since it was a small amount - I just see it as an additional tip. There was probably a mix-up at the tables. Next time I'll just pay a little more attention to the bill and maybe improve my rating here.

Extremadamente caro para lo que es! Definitivamente no vale la pena el dinero. Estaría bien si los precios serían 1/3 de lo que son (e incluso entonces no sería nada increíble, solo promedio). Para colmo, los camareros incluso piden expresamente una propina! No voy a volver.

Extremely expensive for what it is! Definitely not worth the money. Would be ok if the prices would be 1/3 of what they are (and even then it wouldn't be anything amazing, just average). To top it all up, the waiters even ask expressly for a tip! I'm not coming back.

La Cevi hats geschafft, der Laden brummt. Zu recht. Die Essensauswahl ist ungewöhnlich und köstlich, sehr schön angerichtet, alle Gänge. Die Bedinungen managen das Ganze ziemlich entspannt. 4 Personen, 300 Euro, waren aber schon aufgerufen. Wegen der Qualität haben wir das nicht bereut. Eine Empfehlung für den besonderen Anlass.

Unique in FFM, a special culinary experience!

Ausgezeichnete Küche, aufmerksamer Service, schönes entspanntes Ambiente. Über das Preisniveau braucht man sich nicht aufregen, besondere Kulinarik hat (insbesondere in Frankfurt) eben ihren Markt und La Cevi hat uns einen solchen geboten. Mit 26 bis 33 Euro pro Hauptgang gab es sehr ordentliche Portionen mit raffinierten Verfeinerungen und wirklich tollem Geschmack. Der Service war überaus freundlich und stets sehr aufmerksam. Ich bin über die Entdeckung des Ladens sehr happy und werde definitiv wiederkommen. Wir haben uns das Trio de Ceviche sowie die moderne Interpretation der Conchitas a la Parmesana (exzellent!) als Vorspeise geteilt. Beim Hauptgang stach mein Aji de Gallina heraus. Weine waren ebenfalls gut genießbar, alles in allem ein Abend ohne Makel.

Die Gerichte werden sehr schön und akkurat auf den Tellern angerichtet. Geschmacklich waren sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Hauptspeisen hervorragend. Das Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Overall good, not quite authentic Peruvian cuisine as we know it. It's really experimental. In terms of taste, however, it is still missing to be exceptional. But perhaps there is still development here in the future. You can be excited. In any case, I would definitely come back. Service was extremely friendly, prices were slightly higher. Good place to enjoy authentic peruvian/japanese cuisine. I really enjoyed the Ceviche Combos which were a bit expensive but at least generously stacked with a variety of fish. Regarding the service and experience I believe the restaurant to be overpriced though.
