Good peruvian food, and nice place with generally friendly staff. However the waiter pressured me to add a tip which I thought was unprofessional (I was going to tip anyway, don't think it's appropriate to outright ask). I found the prices to be higher than I thought the food and overall experience deserved.

Nice restaurant in the heart of Frankfurt. Great outdoor area. Food was fantastic, but a little less refined than “before”. The taste was excellent, but visually it had deteriorated a bit, even with the dessert. Since I have the special dessert in a direct photo comparison, there used to be more fresh berries. There was little difference in taste, but it was noticeable. Service is great and I will come again

Hier kann man von besten Team Empfang werden die sind sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Tolle Atmosphäre das Lokal hat sehr schöne Gemälde das Ambiente ist top. Und das Essen war nicht nur super schnell da es hat auch noch super lecker geschmeckt. Mein neuer Lieblings Restaurant in Frankfurt a.M.

Starters weren't that good, main courses were very good

The food was ok, but the long wait time was frustrating. Most of all, after spending nearly 70€ each, we were surprised by one staff's reaction when some of us didn't leave a tip - the waiter didn’t even say goodbye. Overall, the experience didn’t quite match the price and expectation, and the final slightly rude behaviour didn’t help in this sense.

Zweite mal da, weil es sich einfach lohnt, wenn man gut essen möchte! Das Essen ist frisch, lecker und sehr schön präsentiert. Staff immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Nicht wirklich günstig, aber wenn man Qualität haben möchte, muss man auch bereit sein, ein bisschen mehr zu bezahlen. Alles top!

The food is amazing. Unfortunately the service a bit slow and keep on mixing up things. So you should pay attention yourself, also to the bill. But the rest great:)

The food and drink was once again bombastic. Had the 3 ceviches, the ox cheeks (were super tender!) and the bola for dessert - a dream We sat outside - it was pleasant, but indoors there is more of a Peruvian feeling. Gladly again!:)

La Cevi would be happy to return, the food was very tasty, in my opinion too expensive. Vegetarian becomes a luxury here. Pay so much for vegetables and then also a small portion... well...otherwise it tasted very good and was very well prepared. Service very nice and quick. Beer is also just binding again. There could have been alternatives for such a nice shop. Ambience great...

We had a beautiful sunny day and were able to enjoy outdoor seating. Pisco sour was good. Close to the original from Lima. Ceviche is small but very tasty. The anticuchos were ok, but don't come close to Peruvian street food. Lomo Saltado was good. Unfortunately the tuna tartare was soggy. Overall a good option for Peruvian food in Frankfurt. Prices are a bit high. The relationship doesn't fit.

Very tasty, light cuisine with great dishes. Corriander is used in most dishes. That's not a problem for me, but you should definitely know beforehand. The service is super friendly and everything from the Trio de Ceviche to the Bola de Chocolate to the house wine was fantastic. The prices are not cheap (main courses all around 25 euros) but a special evening that feels like a mini Peru vacation is definitely worth it.

I expected to find chicha morada, inka Cola, cusqueña, none of them were on their menu. A shame, in general the food is good, but the portions are very small and the price is high.

Very pleasant atmosphere, bright room + terrace. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, the eye definitely eats! If you want to eat cheaper, you should visit the usual snack bars 😉

Nach einer sehr langen Zeit das beste Essen, welches wir in einem Restaurant serviert bekommen haben. Sowohl die Chifles, als auch das peruanische Hühnerfrikasse und das vegane Frikasse waren vorzüglich. Der alkoholische und der nicht-alkoholische Pisco Sour ein Genuss! Das Personal brachte die peruanische Freundlichkeit mit und Professionalität. Jeder Zeit wieder and alle 6 Daumen (3 Personen) hoch. Sehr empfehlenswert! Danke an das Restaurant Team.

The food was good, it wasn't outstanding or exceptional, the balance of the prices compared to the taste and ambience of the restaurant doesn't quite harmonize in my opinion, so I would expect a bit more in terms of taste.

We were thrilled! The best tuna I've ever eaten. The cevice was also tasty and even the homemade lemonade was great! Clear recommendation!

I really hope that the vegetarian ceviche will be put back on the menu and that I can enjoy the ceviche taste despite not eating fish 🤩 was by far my favorite dish!

Modern mit super guten Vorspeisen und einem flinken Service. Das von mir gewählte Hauptgericht ( chinesisch- peruanisch yFusion ) würde ich zwar nicht mehr mehr wählen. Aber nochmal dorthin ist fast Pflicht !

Unfortunately we were very dissatisfied with our visit. The service was bad, the staff was inattentive and the food was disappointing - especially my main course (tough entrecôte pieces with bland side dishes in an over-seasoned sauce). In my opinion the price-performance ratio is catastrophic. It's a shame, I was hoping for a lot more!

Terrible service from the rude waiters, they serve you reluctantly as if you were asking for free food, with a bad-tempered face. There is an uncomfortable and somewhat tense atmosphere. They expected a big tip for a non-existent service and they responded to us in a disrespectful manner As for the food, the lomo saltado was very good, the trio of ceviches were good but the portions were very small for the price. As long as they don't change the staff, I won't return.

Lockerer Laden, etwas eng bestuhl Aber ok. Wir hatten sehr leckere Ceviche, das ist alles sehr authentisch! Arroz di Mare auch mit sehr guten Zutaten, der Reis Selbstbetrug mir aber etwas zu massiv. Dazu leckeren Wein und ein klasse Dessert. Motiviertes Team mit Spaß an der Arbeit. Gerne wieder nach Peru!

This was the first time I tried Peruvian food. The appetizer was surprisingly tasty and quite unique. The beef was very tender. The paella was also ok, but towards the end it got a bit too heavy, probably because of all the cream in it. All in all it was good, but of course not cheap.

I had two different experiences here. First when I came with my Spanish friends I had a good experience as they speak Spanish. Then went with another friend, but as neither of us speak Spanish or German, we received such a bad service. One waiter even asked us to either speak Spanish or German and as we didn't, we asked kindly if there was another waiter that spoke English, then that waiter said no and started speaking English! The service was always so late. We even took our own menu bec nobody came to our table. In the end they tried to charge us for a water we didnt order. The only explanation I can think of for such rude behaviour is that we didn't speak Spanish/German. Or they are generally rude to customers. In any case, never going again.

Can only warmly recommend La Cevi. Was there twice for dinner, both times a first class culinary delight. The service is super nice and sometimes surprisingly fast. A must is the Ceviche Traditionale, it tastes incredibly good. My friend is from Peru, her verdict, best ceviche apart from her mother lol. She gives it 9.5/10. That's saying something. Tip for the main course, Seco de Carrilera. It just tastes great. The Aji de Gallina is a great alternative. The cocktails are also great. At first I thought the prices were a bit high, but the portions are also a bit larger compared to other Peruvian restaurants and the taste is also much better, so the price-performance ratio is also good. The higher price is therefore completely justified. If I'm near Frankfurt again, I'll definitely go there again, always a guarantee of great food that you don't get everywhere and not every day.

Lovely restaurant that exceeded my expectation. We were greeted by a friendly team and amazing pisco cocktails following which we were wined and dined to satisfaction. I really didn’t expect too much at a quick glance and previous ok experiences with Peruvian cuisine, but how wrong I was! I will most definitely be back to try some other things on the menu.

An excellent restaurant to enjoy typical Peruvian dishes, the value for money is reasonable and the presentation of the dishes is very delicate and attractive. I recommend the chicken aji and the passion fruit puree dessert.

I have been to other Peruvian restaurants in NRW and in Frankfurt, I heard good things about this one so I took advantage of my time in Frankfurt to visit it. I went with my German mother-in-law; First I found the staff very rude. Being familiar with an older person, not having patience and wanting us to order food quickly is an experience that I had not had yet! Considering that I am Peruvian, I expected a ceviche to match; The trio ceviche is nonsense!!! Very little and its variants (apart from one) were not worth it for the price and it was also not fresh!!! My mother-in-law asked for an alternative dish at least she liked it. The most expensive desserts I have ever seen and nothing special! Thank goodness there are other Peruvian restaurants that make us look very bad!!!

My most favourite Peruvian place worldwide. I don't even know where to start. Is it the superb and super delicious food, the super friendly and welcoming service or the atmosphere inside the rstaurant or outside in the garden? And talking about food, the ceviche itself is definately worth a visit, but check out their other courses aswell. Super tasty and well decorated. A very nice place for first dates, family and friend gatherings or just having a good time. Since it can get quite busy (especially on the weekends) I recommend to make a reservation beforehand

Super tasty ceviche. I recommend the pulpo starter and the ceviche traditional main course. The dessert card and the vegetarian options are a bit limited but the fish dishes are great. Nothing too highfalutin. Happy to return with my work team.

Inexperienced waitress, brought us wrong dishes. We had to repeat several times what we ordered for drinks and food. The waitress seemed nervous and overwhelmed by the people. They put us at a completely dark table without lights. The normal thing would be not to open the restaurant in that section where, I repeat, there is no light. In addition, there was a lack of staff, Micha people waiting to be served, pick up dishes, take orders, etc.... when he claimed the ticket they had thrown it in the trash and he picked it up from the trash can and gave it to us dirty. Obviously we asked for another ticket…. One of the plates was burnt. The Cevi was a very cool restaurant and requires attention and care in these details on the part of the restaurant management... until next time, I don't think I will return. All this happened on the day I celebrated my daughter's birth with my parents and in-laws. TREMENDOUS BAD DINNER AND DISAPPOINTMENT. :(

It was simply a very successful evening. The food was very tasty, the service was courteous and informed us well about all the dishes and the company was very entertaining, but everyone is responsible for that. All I can say about the ambience is that it rounded off the very positive overall picture well. We'd love to come back

The food was once again excellent. Fresh fish and the Trio Ceviche are truly a delight. Meat is also an excellent main course. The pork belly fell apart in your mouth but was still slightly crispy. Drinks very tasty. Good wine recommendation. You also have to try pisco sour. We were a little disappointed with the service; when it got a little busier, we were ignored and had to keep calling our attention. Only one waiter was visible. The restaurant offered a pleasant experience with a very friendly waiter who answered all of our questions very nicely. The atmosphere was very pleasant and was well supported with appropriate music from Latin America. The dishes were very tasty and the ceviche was really exceptional for German standards. Although some portions could be a little larger. Particularly worth mentioning was the delicious lemonade, which further enriched the visit. I can only recommend it!

One of the greatest restaurants I have tried in Frankfurt so far. My girlfriend and I were spontaneous guests at La Cevi, which is why we got a table without prior reservation. However, it should already be mentioned that it is advisable to reserve a place if you want to eat there after 7 p.m. But: It's definitely worth it! The starter was Anticuchos con Crema la Huancaína. The starter was already incredibly tasty and made me really want the main courses. Here there was Ceviche Tradicional and Carrillera Nitsuque - cooked ox cheeks. Both incredibly good, but I have to admit that I have rarely eaten anything as delicious as the ox cheeks. From the presentation, to the marinade, to the meat itself - it was outstanding! You'll definitely get your culinary money's worth here. The service staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend La Cevi. We'll definitely be coming back!

Everything was very delicious. We ordered chifles de plátano with huancaina dip, ceviche traditional and bola de chocolate. The portions are fair enough for the price.

OUTSTANDING I have been to Lima and tried a lot. I really like to confirm that the Peruvian kitchen chefs serve pretty pure Peruvian quality. Thanks a lot to the entire team - it was a fantastic night. We will come back!

Immer ein Gaumenschmauß, von der Präsentation der Speisen bis hin zum Service stimmt hier alles. Lediglich die Parkplatzsuche kann mühselig sein, kann jedoch mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln umgangen werden. Immer einen Besuch wert!

Danke an das La Cevi- Team für einen sehr schönen und kullinarisch herausragenden Abend. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und achtet auch auf Details (das ist sehr erfreulich und leider immer seltener zu finden). Die Beratung zum Essen und Wein ist gut und freundlich. Das Essen ist überragend. Wir hatten (natürlich) Ceviche. In der Ceviche Tradicional-Variante eine sehr üppige Portion und geschmacklich ganz weit vorne. Das beste Ceviche bisher in Deutschland und so top in der Zubereitung wie damals in Lima. Die zweite Hauptspeise war ein herausragendes Arroz con Mariscos. Auch eine große Portion und sehr raffiniert zubereitet. Zu beiden Gerichten passte der La Cevi - Auxerrois wirklich gut. Zum Abschluss gab`s die Bola, dazu brauchte es gar keine Empfehlung und ich rate jedem, dieses Dessert selbst zu probieren, niemand wird enttäuscht sein. Sicherlich nicht unser letzter Besuch im La Cevi in Frankfurt

War das erste mal in einem peruanischen Restaurant und habe, wie auch alle meine Begleiter, das Angebot sehr genossen. Auch wenn es hier auch Fleisch gibt, sollte man doch eher ein Freund von Fisch und Meeresfrüchten sein - wird dann aber voll zufriedengestellt.

Lateinamerikanische Küche für gehobene Ansprüche. Hatten das Ceviche Tradicional und das Thunfischsteak. Beides von hervorragender Qualität. Das Innere ist schön gestaltet, die Bedienung freundlich und schnell und die Preise gehen auch in Ordnung.

War das lecker! Wir hatten das Trio de Ceviche, 3erlei Ceviche bestehend aus: Ceviche Tradicional, Ceviche Nikkei, Ceviche de Culantro und Ceviche Tradicional (in Limettensaft marinierter roher Rotbarsch mit Koriander) als große Portion. Dazu Bananenchips mit zwei verschiedenen Soßen und eine Portion Kartoffelecken mit Mayonesa de Olivas und Crema a la Huancaina zum Dippen (eine kleine Portion Ketchup und Mayonnaise ist mit dabei). Die Weinbegleitung eine Flasche Viognier von Aromo, Maule Valles, Chile. Eigentlich waren wir satt, aber das Dessert musste sein: Bola de Chocolate frio y caliente: eine selbst hergestellte Schokoladenkugel gefüllt mit Maracujamousse, bestreut mit in Flüssigstickstoff schockgefrosteten pulverisierten Beeren (Brombeeren, Johannisbeeren, Himbeeren, Blaubeeren). Dekoriert mit Süßkartoffelkrokant, Knallbrause und frischen Früchten. Zum krönenden Abschluss wird das Ganze am Tisch mit heißer Maracujasoße übergossen: Großartig!! Auch preislich völlig im Rahmen mit aufmerksamer und freundlicher Bedienung: wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Muy buen peruano. El vino blanco de la casa exquisito. Me pedí un ceviche tradicional, en su punto y delicioso. El servicio por parte de Ricardo y Christian excelente. El lugar es muy bonito y la música mejor. Para rematar nos pedimos un postre de maracuya que se fundía con un soplete, buenísimo y colofon perfecto para el cumpleaños de nuestro hijo. Adjunto video.

Ich war schon öfters dort und war immer sehr zufrieden. Leider hat der Service in letzter Zeit stark nachgelassen. Man wurde schnell abgefertigt und die Bestellung von Getränken wurde mehrfach vergessen. Wir wurden auch über längere Zeit nicht gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und wir noch was bestellen möchten. Das Essen war weiterhin gut. Bei den Preisen gehört ein entsprechend guter Service für mich jedoch dazu.

Wir sind öfter dort, sowohl privat als auch beruflich. Normalerweise sind sowohl das Essen als auch der Service hervorragend. In letzter Zeit lässt der Service leider sehr zu wünschen übrig. Was früher unaufdringlich freundlich und professionell war, wirkt nun eher, als ob man den Gast bedienen muss und dann „abkassiert „. Die grundlegenden Service- und Bediengepflogenheiten sind vergessen, Geschirr wird kommentarlos auf dem Tisch gekloppt anstatt serviert, etc. Das Essen ist nach wie vor hervorragend. Die Köche erstklassig. Bei den sehr gehobenen Preisen sollte aber auch ein entsprechend gastfreundlicher Service geboten werden, man ist schließlich nicht in einer Kantine. Da das Essen hervorragend ist und der Service durchaus einmal gut war, werden wir es nochmal versuchen.

Ich weiß nicht was noch besser sein könnte. 10/10

Food was delicious and the service was great. The only negative was that the Waiter told us the table reservation was only for 2 hours whereas it said 2.5 on the reservation - and we felt a little rushed to leave… but would definitely recommend and will be going again.
