La Burrita in München

I can't agree with my previous comment. We were here on Saturday evening and didn't find it too loud at all. All of the restaurants in the corner aren't that big, but we were still really surprised at how loud they were. But anyway, let’s get to the hearty and tasty food🥰. For us it was very good, of course a bit pricey like everything in Schwabing... Well, you know that. The fajita with steak was generous and very good. It was also said right at the beginning that sauces and fajitas would be added if necessary. ❤️ I thought that was great. But there were 6 fajitas anyway😉I had baby ribs - well seasoned and very soft and not a fast food character. We found the compilation of the individual dishes interesting. We didn't know that before. The service from the lively young team was very pleasant. We'll definitely try something again ❤️❤️❤️

The pulled pork burrito was okay, a bit bland, I wouldn't order it again and at EUR 18 it was just too expensive in my opinion. However, the atmosphere is very nice and the service was also nice. You should reserve in advance.

I've been there several times now and the food and service have always been good. I live the seating areas for 2-4 people :) This gives the ambience a super nice and private feeling. Unfortunately, it has always been very loud. The food has always been very good there, but for people who prefer milder cuisine (i.e. not spicy) you should definitely order the dishes without jalapenjo. I recommend all the burritos, the dishes with a Korean twist and the homemade sodas. I've been going there for several years now and would love to go there again and again.

Nice service who immediately recommended the homemade lemonade - unfortunately one tasted super sweet and only like syrup and the other was "infused" mineral water... but maybe there was a mixing problem? Food selection was limited in my opinion but tasty. So complaining at a very high level... but if there is no chicken tacco variation at all, but only pork or vegetarian, I think that's a shame... and the nachos were not enough to share for the price... Burrito with chicken was very tasty.

Highly recommended!! Location: perfect! Each reach by U3/U6, it is in the heart of München Freiheit. Environment: Wonderful! It is very Colorful and stylish. Service: top. Everyone is very nice and friendly. Food: great! I had beef fajita, and the meat is juice, the vegetables are sort and yummy. I will definitely come back.

Disappointed despite high expectations. I was really looking forward to my visit to La Burrita on Münchner Freiheit, especially because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately my experience was rather disappointing. The food was ok but no more than average standard. The ambience also had its charm, but the seats were rather uncomfortable and it was also very loud. The prices are normal for Munich standards, but considering the fast food-like experience I felt they were too high. Overall, the restaurant fell short of my expectations. It's a shame, I was hoping for more.

Despite the relatively empty shop, there was a long wait to even get a card. Food okay, price pretty steep.

Margaritas are delicious but contain hardly any alcohol. Burrito (OG and fajita chicken) were okay - the rice was a bit sticky and there shouldn't have been any edamame in the filling.

Tasty and a very sizable bar. Burger was quite small. But very tasty.

I had a bad experience here years ago and have to revise my opinion. I've been there a few more times now and I'm happy that I gave La Burrita another chance. The food is always really good and there is a great menu. In terms of price, I still think that here and there they are just a bit too expensive. Especially with the margaritas that have too much ice in them and are too small for the price. Nevertheless, I like the ambience and the food and now enjoy going here.

By far the best Mexican restaurant in Munich. Lots of delicious dishes and a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything designed with great attention to detail. I am a regular customer and have never been disappointed. Top recommendation!

Wir hatten als Vorspeise Chickenwings. Diese waren komplett kalt wurden aber anstandslos ausgetauscht. Fajitas mit Beef und Chicken war unser Hauptgang. Das Fleisch war super, alles andere trocken und geschmacklos. Service war super freundlich. Für die Preise definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. The chicken wings were nothing special. The fajitas were equally a disappointment. Rice, beans and wheat tortillas were served with it. Everything dry and tasteless. The meat in the pan was good. Overall, everything didn't seem freshly prepared. It's better for me to do everything myself at home. It's a shame because the interior was very nice.

The food was really great but we had to wait an hour before we could order because no one came. When the food came we had no cutlery, which we only got after asking twice.

The burritos and margaritas are so delicious.

The food was excellent, but the service was extremely overwhelmed. A dish arrived half an hour late and we even had to wait half an hour to pay.

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant, incredibly nice staff, and food cooked with heart and soul, No matter what you order.

Used to be very good, the best tex-mex in town maybe. However lately quality of food dropped, I guess they allow too many guests and kitchen is not ready for this volume. Last time I went there, nachos were just average quality, but still okay. However tacos were not really edible. Tortilla was raw and we couldn’t eat at all. I would recommend to focus on quality rather than quantity.

Super super delicious food! Very cool furnishings and original seating options inside. The cocktails look really nice and were super fruity and quick to prepare. Highly recommended for a date or dinner with friends. Unique atmosphere! The only negative: a bit overpriced. Especially the fajitas.

The food is really good , my daughter loves this place the nachos and the pollo quesadillas was the best food in there in my opinion, I highly recommend this place but last time we came the nachos was a bit cold because of the waiting but it was still delicious 👍🏻👍🏻

Restaurant experience, that's how gastronomy works. For the first time at La Burrita Occamstrasse. Top service, friendly attentive and consistently friendly and not disturbing even with many guests. Wonderful menu selection. Everything was delicious and well prepared. A touch of California indeed. Drinks were great and the seating was nice. Thank you very much, it was great.

The food was very tasty. I can only recommend the shrimp tacos. It's a bit of a shame that there is no beef or chicken version of the tacos - I personally missed that. The Gin Basil was great, unfortunately way too much ice. Unfortunately, when asked to use less ice, no consideration was given. Service was good and very friendly but too busy. It took a long time before you could reorder drinks. I would recommend a visit to La Burrita.

I now know all three shops, beautifully furnished and stylish design from the bar to the small, cozy “Separes” which invite you to linger. I'll put the drinks menu through its paces when I get the chance, but it sounds very tempting, especially the margheritas!!! - Mega Kimchi Burger - Best 🤤! PEOPLE, the burger is awesome (for once it doesn't taste like that pressed meat standard stuff) and someone here has even thought about the fries, perfect golden brown crunch and super tasty. The operators seem to rely on quality and know-how which is reflected in the entire menu!!! CONCLUSION: COZY, DELICIOUS, TOP SERVICE!!! Full points, very happy to come back very soon!

Very nice staff, order came very late, food was average

It was so disappointing! We were a groups of 5. 2 of us got the food first and 30 minutos later we had to ask what happened with the others food. The waiter came back with the food and apologised and told us we would get a dessert. We didn’t got the dessert. I had to ask her what happened with the dessert. Then she came back with a tiny chocolate cake…. TINY. Only 1… FOR 5 PEOPLE…. Com on. We didn’t ask for it. She offered and then brings that… felt like a joke In general food is okay, nothing special and too expensive for a terrible experience. The menu have some misleading indication regarding the vegetarian options including CHICKEN.

Good authentic Mexican food. However, the waiters collect the tip without giving the customer the right to choose their tip. We have already visited the establishment twice and they take it for granted that the customer assumes paying a tip.

Previously I would have given 5 stars, but the quality has deteriorated massively, which is a shame.

It was our first time here for dinner and we were hoping for more. The quality of the dishes we ate were far below our expectations and both burritos were wrapped much too large, apparently heated with the contact grill, the salad consisted mainly of carrots and we didn't finish because it didn't taste good. A glass of wine, ordered during the meal, only arrived after we had already been dismissed.

I was there spontaneously for dinner. What was super positive was that I got a place straight away, without a reservation. That's not so normal in Munich. The staff was very friendly but very inattentive/very busy. The food was good. I will come back.

Best food I've had in a long time, just amazing. The service of the waiter (with mustache) who seated us and took care of us through the evening was superb. The other waiter who brought our food was rather abrasive and brings the standard down. Didn't take photos because we were too busy enjoying the food!

Got a seat for 2 without a reservation, there is definitely more food than what is seen online. The sauces are super tasty, I will buy them again 😂 and the location is very nice and something different. The food is nothing breathtaking, but it is tasty and the service was super nice and friendly.

Been here twice. The food was great on both visits. The service on our last visit was not great. Felt like they could care less since we didn't have a reservation. However the place was completely empty. Regardless we sat there waiting so long to even receive menus that I was about ready to leave and go to a place across the street. After that experience I'm not sure if I care to go back.

Food was really delicious! Tostadas, fries, and tacos highly recommended!! Service friendly but badly understaffed that evening. Despite the long wait, the appetizer arrived, only lukewarm before the drinks. House soda (lime mint) was unfortunately completely underwhelming. It consisted almost entirely of ice cream and tasted very bland. Limos are better in every Hans & Glück. An Aperol was also completely average. Maybe we ordered the wrong drinks. But it's a shame. Because the food was so good. We sat inside, in a small niche, which was really nice, but unfortunately you were overlooked the whole time and sat very close to the bar, which made it really loud with the constant cocktail shaking. Next time we would ask for another place. Overall, great food. The rest is a little better.

I was interested in burrito, there was no vegan/vegetarian burrito. PS: The prices are very annoying and the menu here in Google is outdated, O.G. Burrito now costs from 18 euros.

Don't be confused this is a California style food not Mexican style food restaurant.

Anyone looking for good food combined with exemplary service is in good hands at La Burrita in hip Schwabing. Even Korean-style food is available. The atmosphere is cozy. Still only 4 out of 5 points because there was a borderline amount of ice in the cocktail and it wasn't until we showed up that we were told that you could only stay for two hours. A case of exclusion for Berlin tourists?

It’s a pity that I’d missed out this place all this while. Was recommended by friends and we went here for a birthday dinner. Specially mentioned it in the online reservation that we made and were given a cozy nice spot. The service was a bit slow given how packed the place even on a Tuesday night. I can ignore that aspect because both the staff who served us were amazing & super friendly. The food portions were large enough even if it’s on pricier side. Cocktails were ace! Definitely coming back again. Always make reservations even if it’s a weekday night.

I recently visited La Burrita and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Despite waiting an hour, the portion was very small. The quesadillas were only half filled. The price for the portion was not appropriate. Overall, the price-performance ratio was not satisfactory.

Absolutely diverse menu. Even the Mexican restaurant offers delicacies from home. The dessert rounded off a perfect menu. Thank you for this culinary variety. Only the noodles are a bit overpriced. Where I am is Kölle!
