La Bruschetta in Stuttgart

Interesting restaurant. We couldn't find the entrance at first. It's quite small and unassuming. We were the only ones in the restaurant the whole time. The bruschetta was unfortunately quite expensive for the amount and wasn't that tasty. On the other hand, the pizza was very tasty. It's a bit thicker, though, if you like it thicker. Some of the pasta is homemade and also very tasty. It could have been a bit hotter.

The last time I was with Barbara was before Corona and the first time again today. Thank you Barbara for the delicious food - you can taste the love & passion with every bite. A pleasure! Unique, best quality and highly recommended. Personally, I plan to eat with you regularly again. Best Italian cuisine in Stuttgart 🧡

Everyone who wants to have an extraordinary Italian experience must visit this place. The owner is also the Chef and the person who smiles and talks to you. One woman's show in an incredible Mediterranean atmosphere in the center of Stuttgart. Not for all, just for those who know.

I have been eating at Barbara's for over 15 years and recommend this small restaurant to everyone. If you're looking for chic, an elegant restaurant or fancy cuisine, this is the wrong place for you. Barbara always cooks freshly and with a lot of love. You feel like you've been invited to dinner at your southern mom's house. I've tried almost the entire menu and everything was excellent. Even if you had to wait a bit due to lack of staff, it was worth every minute. Thank you Barbara for your warm manner and your incredibly delicious cuisine!

Even in Italy, I have never eaten so well. Every dish is polished to perfection. Not fancy, but real Nonna cuisine - you can tell the chef's passion and high standards for herself with every bite. Sure, the ambience can't compete with a fine Italian restaurant - but it shouldn't. It is precisely the somewhat improvised nature that gives it its charm; the focus here is clearly - as it should be - on first-class, authentic cuisine. Anyone who regularly vacations in Mediterranean countries knows that the most inconspicuous restaurants are often the best ;) The cook/owner is so incredibly warm that you immediately feel like you are at home with mom. And it deserves the highest recognition that she usually runs the place with the kitchen, service and everything else all by herself (!). Then of course it can take a little longer, but the taste and heartiness absolutely make up for it. I can only advise everyone to form their own opinion and to consciously exclude the unqualified and unjustified negative reviews of some clowns here. Unfortunately, there are always people who blame others for their dissatisfaction with their own lives and thus have to piss off those who really deserve appreciation.

Ms. Barbara is the most competent and friendly cook I know, and she also has culture and is a very good speaker. Your food is simply great. I don't understand some people who say negative opinions and especially untrue things about their pizzeria.

Superfreundliche Bedienung und superleckeres Essen, sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Wirklich klasse! Als Nachtisch bekamen wir einen fantastischen Kaiserschmarren.

Small authentic shop. All dishes are freshly prepared by the owner and served with love. The limoncello is highly recommended and probably everything anyway.

Short and sweet: - A waitress/cook/waitress (+ 7 year old temporary worker) - long wait - Owner sometimes gets lost in the flow of her speech - Seat still has to be executed yourself -> Pizza was ok

Not a very nice location and not a pleasant atmosphere, we had to put our table down ourselves + it was very cold and we had to turn on the heating. Prices are good, but some of the dough was a bit raw and very salty, and there was a lot of toppings (I had to dig through my ham before I could see my pizza. All in all it was okay, the owner (who is also a cook and waitress) was very nice, but the 7 year old boy who gave me my food wasn't really talkative.

There was far too much salami topping everywhere, the dough was still a bit raw and the pizza was very small. We were the only guests and tables had to be prepared first. The woman talked a lot to other people and a big dog scared me. I would rather recommend it. and children were exploited as waiters

Thank you for the very tasty and authentic food. We've been there several times now and left feeling very full. The calzone is just juicy and delicious. The price-performance ratio is completely justified. We'd love to come back

The food was very tasty! I would perhaps justify the negative reviews with poor form on the day. There were five of us and we were all happy. Because the boss had all the roles that evening, i.e. cook, waitress, etc., it sometimes took a little longer for drinks to arrive or to be cleared away. However, it is also somewhat reminiscent of an improvised, small restaurant in the Italian provinces. The wine selection was not large, but completely sufficient and very tasty with an Italian and French selection.

Mixed feelings. Pro’s: food is truly made from scratch and good, good vibes, lovely owner that loves to talk and is enthusiastic about her work. Con’s: - The lady that cleans the table cleaned our table and left a dirty napkin on the table. - The owner (only cook) used a lot of parmesan, making the pasta very salty. She has poor time managent and made us (2 people) wait 30 min for the food and we got it at different times. Afterwards we needed to wait a full hour for after asking for the bill because she was talking to the other customers. Once we finally did get the bill, we needed to wait another 10 min before paying. By then it was already almost 45 min after closing time. - After paying, she became very persistent on wanting to get a 5 star review on google, to the point where she explained for 10 minutes to how to do so and grabbed our phones “to show us” and already put the 5 stars in the google review only for us to press “post” (we came up with an excuse to not do so)

Horrible experience. Food: It took almost 40 minutes to arrive even tho we were alone. I ordered the "Pizza dell'ingegnere" which should have Parma ham and a bufala mozzarella, but the ham was absolutely not real Parma ham and the mozzarella was put there COLD and AFTER being finished to cook. A cold watery pizza basically. Service: To order just 2 pizza, took the need of 2 people because apparently they can't type "Margherita" without copying the typo from the menù. The place: The kitchen is totally another building, there is only space enough for 2-3 tables, almost no light at our table. Last impressions: To pay we had to wait outside because we had to wait the Chef to finish cooking first, we paid 36 euro for simple water, a pizza Margherita and a cold soup. Nah, never again thanks.

Cuando llegamos a este lugar, parecía que estaba cerrado. Solo había una señora que dijo que estaban abiertos y encendieron las luces. Probablemente solo tenía unos 10 asientos. La señora parecía hacer de todo, incluso esperar, cocinar y servir. Un menú bastante limitado y la elección de bebidas. Pero ella era muy entusiasta y la comida era excelente.

Ganz verstecktes Lokal im Bohnenviertel. Sehr gute italienische Küche, selbstgemachte Pata ( mit Trüffel!), lecker Pizza und sehr gute Weine. Das Zeitmanagement ist noch verbesserungsbedürftig, aber sehr herzliche und freundliche Bedienung durch die Chefin. Gerne mal wieder 👍

Io e mio marito abbiamo pernottato a Stoccarda per spezzare il viaggio di ritorno dall'Olanda in Italia. Vicino al nostro hotel abbiamo trovato questa pizzeria italiana che ci ha davvero fatto star bene . Abbiamo trovato il Locale accogliente e la titolare molto gentile ed affabile. We had dinner at La Bruschetta this evening. The food was freshly cooked and really delicious. The owner was very friendly. We had a really nice evening and look forward to coming back soon.

This is a tiny tiny place & we initially thought it was closed as the lights were turned out. The owner is very friendly, and even though she only speaks a little English (which is still more than my German), she really tries to make conversation and get her point across. The food is absolutely sensational. One of the best pizzas I've ever had & the gnocchi arrabiata was also excellent. There wasn't a wide choice of beer, unfortunately, which was the only slight downside. I would definitely recommend people visit this restaurant, but be advised it is cash only.

The best pizza in Stuttgart Mitte, right on Olgaeck. The shop is run by a loving Italian woman. Despite the unassuming atmosphere, the food is outstanding! The quality of the food is first class and authentic. Thanks to the open kitchen you can see how the pizzas are prepared. She rubs delicious parmesan cheese over the freshly cut slices of salsicca. Delicious.

We ate here quite spontaneously today with our dog. I found out about the restaurant through a recommendation and then I wanted to try it out. In total we sat here for about 3 hours and got our money's worth. It may be that things are more organized in other restaurants, but here we had time to chat and the food was fantastic. The homemade pasta really hit us all up and we were able to leave our problems behind us for a few hours and feel like we were in Italy. PS: The dog received a particularly warm welcome. We would love to come back!

Wir waren kürzlich ohne Reservierung vor Ort. Wir haben uns vom einfachen Interieur nicht beeinflussen lassen haben uns auf eine ehrliche italienische Küche gefreut, doch was wir bekommen haben kann nicht in Worten beschrieben werden, Pizza lauwarm die Pasta salsiccia waren Nudeln in einer Sahne lache mit Wurstscheiben drin. Wie man so viel falsch machen kann ist mir ein Rätsel. Das ist keine italienische Küche das ist die reinste Verarsche. Bitte machen Sie den Laden dicht. Damit nicht noch mehr Menschen drauf reinfallen.

This place is quirky, however, the food is delicious, prepared with love and always fresh! Bruschetta may be a different proposition as a cafe with coffee and cake but as a restaurant it has its quirks! The patron is clearly under a lot of pressure serving alone, this could have been an exceptional experience, but if there are more than 3 tables she clearly struggles to juggle all of the roles that would normally be fulfilled by other staff members! All that said I had a delicious and freshly made pizza with a generous amount of toppings all at a really fair price. So do not go here if you are in a rush, do go here if you have time to savour a glass of wine and some great home cooked Italian food, which will arrive in its own time!

I have only good words to such a good restaurant with the waitress/cooker who attended us the whole night. She was so nice, It was like being at your grandma (eating really good and amount, tasty, and being in a so warm-atmosphere place) 10 points for such the courage she brought!!

Really great! Absolutely delicious food, great location and super friendly boss. The lady runs the shop alone and she has been doing it for 16 years. You can tell what love and passion lies behind it. There is also a good selection: starters, pizza, pasta/noodles, rissoto, cannelonni, dessert, coffee... The shop is very cute, small and you get a very familiar feeling. There were 6 of us and we ordered different dishes. We were well full and absolutely satisfied. Our dogs also received treats and lots of love 🐶😊 Recommendation: you should order in advance if you have little or hardly any time or you can take your time with delicious wine, good company and really top starters while you wait for the main courses. Everything is freshly made/cooked by the Italian woman on site. Typically Italian. It's really worth it. We will go there again, 100%

10/10 Charming little pizza shop with impressive pizza that's now a permanent stop every time I'm in Stuttgart. A long-time friend and I enjoyed the neapolitan style "pizza al tartufo nero" over some Germanic beers. The in-season fresh black truffle shavings perfectly compliment the homemade crust and tomato sauce. Rocket(arugula where I'm from) and fresh Parmigiano add wonderful texture to every bite. Our dessert was a couple of slices of homemade chocolate cake. Expertly baked, the light dusting of coco powder beautifully balanced its subtle sweetness. I will dream of another slice until my return! A digestif of Limoncello with our bill cleansed our palates, rounding off a perfect evening, absolutely a highlight of our holiday. Thank you so much, Barbara. Your hospitality and skill in the kitchen will keep us coming back EVERY time we're in Stuttgart.

Die Pizza war gut. Es hat aber nach meinem Geschmack der letzte Pfiff, wie z.B. ein wenig Gewürze (Knoblauch oder Basilikum) in der Tomatensoße gefehlt. Aber Geschmäcker sind ja bekanntlich verschieden, so daß ich insgesamt gerade so 5 Sterne gebe.

We arrived at this restaurant unannounced with a large group and although there was only one person working in both the kitchen and service, this woman ensured that we could sit down and order. She made everything on her own and with a lot of love. All the food (for 12 people) was ready around the same time and she remained incredibly friendly. I would definitely come back (: Lots of praise to this woman!! 💜

Das Essen war super. Der Mozzarella ist ganz besonders! Bitte nicht von der kleinen Räumlichkeit ablenken lassen, es ist klein, aber die Küche ist groß.

We went to this place with 12 people without reservation and there was only one person who was working at the moment. We felt really sorry for her but the lady was so kind and so sweet. She took everyone’s order and made all the food all by herself. She finished all the plates around the same time and the food was delicious. We were quite surprised because she was working there on her own and it didn’t take that long. I would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely go again. And again, the service was amazing. Much love to the lady!❤️

La Bruschetta, eine Anekdote zu der Bruschetta: Ich aß eine Bruschetta, mit einem perfekten Verhältnis von Salz, zu Pfeffer, zum Knoblauch und zum Öl. Das übrig gebliebene Öl eignete sich perfekt für meinen Freund, um den Rand seiner Pizza einzutunken mmmh... Ein wahrlich einzigartiges Erlebnis. Authentisch:) Grazie mille!

Wir waren erst erstaunt über das relativ kleine Lokal, aber das Essen war super lecker (v.a. die Canneloni) und wir wurden sehr freundlich behandelt. Zum Schluss gab es noch ein Baguette aufs Haus, vielen lieben Dank!

Little place that seemed run by a very kind lady. The pizzas was great, big portions with generous toppings (cheese, sauce). The wine glass is very generous as well! Service was very kind and hosting. I definitely recommend it!

Ja, die Öffnungszeiten sind Hinweise. Wie häufig in Italien üblich, werden die Zeiten gedehnt. Aber wenn "Maria" (Barbara) da ist und kocht, kenne ich kaum eine bessere Köchin als Sie! Pizza und Pasta zum niederknien.

Top italienische Ambiente und Küche mit tollen italienischen Wein Sorten. Was auch sehr hervorsticht ist die Hygiene auf die dort großen Werte gelegt wird. Gerne wieder

Eine solche hervorragende, frische und mit erstklassigen und frischen Zutaten belegte Pizza habe ich bisher noch nicht serviert bekommen. Der empfohlene Wein passte sehr gut. Das Dessert schmeckte himmlisch. Die Wirtin ist sehr gastfreundlich. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und komme gerne wieder.

Vorneweg: man sollte hier kein Sterne-Restaurant erwarten sondern ein kleines Lokal wo man sehr freundlich und mit Freude empfangen wird, wo man sich vom ersten Augenblick an wohl und heimisch fühlt und wo man vor allem eine wunderbare Küche genießen kann die durchaus einem Sterne-Restaurant würdig ist. Alles wird in der "gläsernen Küche" von der Besitzerin frisch zubereitet und ist vom Geschmack und Qualität hervorragend. Wer eine familiäre Atmosphäre und leckere italienische Gerichte bevorzugt sollte unbedingt La Bruschetta besuchen.

Kleines unscheinbares Restaurant am Rande des Bohnen Viertels mit Imbiss Charakter, da es nur sehr wenige Tische gibt. Barbara die Chefin ist Italienerin und Köchin mit Herz und Seele. Teilweise geht es tatsächlich etwas chaotisch zu, da sie alleine ist und ihr max. jemand hilft die Speisen und Getränke nach nebenan bzw draußen zu bringen - d.h. hier kocht die Chefin persönlich!! Vor allem die Pizzen und Bruschetta schmecken hervorragend wie man es sonst nicht oft bekommt! Wer teilweise lange Wartezeiten und ein bisschen Chaos verträgt wird hier von der italienischen Freundlichkeit und Authentizität von Barbara begrüßt.

Une fois une table mise sur le trottoir, plus d'une demi-heure d'attente pour nous dire qu'il n'y avait pas de saumon fumé et nous proposer une 4 fromages. La bière commandée en 33cl se transforme en 50!Pour couronner le tout, paiement sans ticket de caisse ni addition. Sinon la pizza était correcte mais avec un doute sur le nombre de fromages!
