La Bolognina in Berlin

This place could have been great! But, we were waiting for 10-15 min for someone to order, then the antipasti and the wine came on time they were really nice…But then we waited for another 30 min for our pasta and instead of that the waiter came said that they didn’t had what we ordered and that they were preparing everything now…the wrong pasta came and they were RAW not Al tente…we took it back and their reaction was unbelievable, they charged the antipasti and the wine after all these, don’t go because sometimes it happens that the service and the food it’s not worth your money and time.

Staff were lovely - no issue there We got ricotta stuffed pasta and carbonara. The stuffed pasta was lovely. The carbonara was a special and shockingly, it was not …special. It had no flavour at all, which is surprising given how it’s a staple Italian dish. A bunch of girls shrieking laughing the entire time didn’t help but this wasn’t at the staff’s fault. Just disappointing. Try, but order carefully

I don't get all the good reviews. The pasta dishes are really not good, portions are very small, prices however quite high. I do not recommend this place. There are so many more other options in Berlin...

Service was nice, good people but food was pricey for the small size and the taste was bad

I'm a huge fan of this place. I use any excuse to bring someone there and really enjoy going by myself. Best pasta in Berlin, hands down. Great service. I do prefer sitting outside than inside, as long as the weather is fine. My two faves are the walnut pesto pasta and the filled pasta in sage butter.

Food was presented well but unfortunately pretty bland, which is quite the bummer for such expensive pasta. It also took very long, although it was not crowed, for non smokers quite uncomfortable aswell, since the chefs came out quite often to have a cigarette.

Very delicious, the food is fresh and made to order. But the plate is too small. I've never been to an Italian restaurant and left hungry.

Great staff, very friendly and accommodating. Food was smaller portions but good quality simple ingredients with homemade pasta. Tiramisu was a surprise winner.

Amazing authentic food and atmosphere!

Really bad pasta :( Ragu was without flavor and pasta overcooked. pesto pasta was just so simple... nothing special. But service was really good and place is so cute!

the portion was way too small, its rather half portion, can’t give a good rating if for 20€ i go home hungry. we also didn’t get bottle of oil on the table when we ordered bread and olives

We were so excited to try this restaurant, we tried to call to book nobody was answering the phone We went there they said we need to put our name on the waiting list and come back in one hour which was fine for us We came back one hour later and they said « Sorry guys we are full no space anymore » At 22:00 Perfect really thank you for nothing

The pasta is very tasty, albeit small and expensive. Great for sitting down for a bit, eating your pasta, and then moving on. There's no atmosphere to linger.

Authentic Italian spot! Visited on a summer day and really enjoyed the vibe. Had an Aperol Spritz (very affordable) and the service was warm and friendly. The food had that comforting, home-cooked feel—like something my nonna would’ve made. Only downside: I ordered bread with olive oil and olives, but they were out of olives, and the bread wasn’t super fresh. Still, left happy overall. Would definitely come back.

We ordered Tartufo and Pistacchio e burrata, and frankly, it was the best we ever had! All their dishes are freshly made, which adds more to the flavour! I highly recommend Pistacchio e burrata pasta. We also ordered olives as appetizer which were great. The restaurant is small and cozy.

It’s solid homemade pasta - not the best I ever had but good enough to come back for more :) went twice already.

Love this place! Great pasta at fair prices. They only have one tiny stovetop and one chef to cook for the whole place so they get backed up a bit when they’re crowded but pasta is always great

A special place, where I will always come back… The portion are fair: the pasta is handmade and with that I mean „no machines!“, these guys do fresh pasta EVERY DAY of the week, the only help they have is the dough sheeter, a ravioli-roller and a knife! The tagliatelle are all cut per hand… simply amazing! The wine are selected carefully and each one as a nice story behind. The genziana is home made and the cocktails are as they should be. I was chatting with the manager and he was so passionate about his job and the food and drinks they offer, he explained to me how they work and how they search for genuine raw materials. From flour to extra virgin oil… The tiramisu and espresso were just the perfect final touch. Keep up the good work and see you soon!!!

We wanted to try out this place for a really long time and were really excited. The pasta was good but… one of us ordered the Ragu and the salsccia was dry and the tomato sauce was lacking flavour. I honestly think it looked like canned dog food. Ragu is something you order at a Restaurant because no one has time to cook 5 hour pasta sauce, is why it’s disappointing that it really tasted not good. And 15€ for a small plate is not it.

Lovely spot with a great vibe and fresh pasta. Only complaint is they're always so busy it's hard to get a table.

For me it's a no go. I am Italian and I am deeply disappointed. The piadina was chewy and empty in my opinion, maybe 5g of filling in total. I smelled fresh paint in the small room where we ate. Not recommended and I don't understand where the good reviews come from. We expected a cozy tasty Italian dinner, it wasn't.

Highly overpriced and deeply disappointing. The atmosphere feels awkward and uncomfortable, with a cramped kitchen area barely a meter from the table. The food is entirely forgettable—definitely not worth the price. There are certainly far better options in the same price range.

Portions are so small and expensive

To be frank, I found the Stasi Museum a more uplifting place. With so many good, authentic Italian eateries in the vicinity, you’ll be better served by going elsewhere.

Absolutely loved this place! The service was wonderful and the chef was great. They really cared about us. Would 100% go again!!

4.5 stars The pasta was perfectly al dente, but could have used a little more salt. The burrata/pistachio sauce was first class though. Prices are not something for every day but the drinks are very affordable, always a good solution.

Cool italian spot in the area with a nice sprinkle of Berlin vibe. The service was effective. The food was great. The price is a little above average for the area, but the overall experience makes it worth it.

The piadina in Berlin is here, and also some dishes from the Bolognese Emilia Romagna tradition. Like in a trattoria on the hill.

Was a bitter disappointment compared to the last few times. Portions have shrunk while prices have increased. There wasn't much left of the once pleasant ambience... Luckily there are enough other good handmade pasta restaurants in Berlin.

It used to be such a great restaurant, but now the prices have gone up quite a bit and the portions are getting smaller and smaller. What a shame! The ambience is no longer what it used to be. I won't be coming here again

A very nice little restaurant with super friendly staff. The pasta itself was delicious, but unfortunately the sauce didn't work at all. The ragu was just warmed tomato with salsicia without any spices and not cooked down at all. If the sauce is not cooked and reduced for hours, it will not get its typical taste. I went to this restaurant specifically because it was so praised and was very disappointed. To eat a sauce like that I could have gone to any so-called Italian restaurant and paid less and it would have tasted just as bad. Unfortunately, the Ragu cannot be recommended at all. Immediately after a stay in Italy, it was really terrible.

Pasta was very good but actually quite small for the price. Service friendly. Unfortunately, you are often approached by junkies outside...

The pasta was fresh and delicious, but the portions were too small for the price. I paid €14 for this plate, and we all ended up going to another restaurant for a second dinner. Would definitely give it a 5/5 if we try it again and the portions are bigger.

What a wonderful little Restaurant in Berlin Kreuzberg. We had very nice service and amazing handmade and fresh pasta. Basic Sauces but just delicious. Prices are very fair for the exceptional quality. It was possible to pay by card. If you're looking for some great pasta I really can recommend this :)

Had tagliatelle al ragù. Unfortunately it wasn't seasoned properly; the acidity of the tomato sauce was dominant, so that you couldn't even notice the taste of the salsiccia. No spiciness, no flavor notes, no flavor transitions. The portion was too small, so I was even more hungry after eating. 😅

The pasta tastes really good - very authentic, like in northern Italy. But: The portions are far too small for the prices (pasta 13 or 14 euros). I didn't get anywhere near full, neither did my girlfriend. And there is no bread served with the meal, there is no espresso or grappa on the house (completely normal for other Italians). And unfortunately it's not that nice to sit outside. So overall it was a rather disappointing experience for us.

Delicious family-style Italian with fresh pasta and helpful staff. The food is simple and tasty, with fresh ingredients being the key feature, as Italian cuisine is supposed to be. Also reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Great prices and good atmosphere. The starters and pasta are absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly. I've been here several times without ever being disappointed.

We came here to give our friends a taste of Italian cuisine, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the ragù had a delicious and intense aroma, the homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, the desserts were beautiful and delicious, the cannoli with sheep's ricotta was crunchy on the outside and super filling. In our group there was also a person with numerous food restrictions and he still managed to eat something good. The staff is young and extremely kind. We will definitely be back! I recommend it for those who want to rediscover the flavors of Bolognese cuisine here in Berlin.

Don't let the name fool you, the place has nothing to do with Bologna. When I mentioned it, the owner told me next time I should try piadina.. which is not from Bologna. They don't have any phone and the number you can find on websites/Google will ring forever. If you ask why, it looks like it's not their responsibility to have a phone number. In case of need (someone feels sick, you forget something and so on) , it's just your business. Isn't it a good way to show much they care about customers?

A very nice little shop with an exquisite menu and cheerful staff. You should be prepared for the fact that not all employees speak German, but Italian and English also work. The food came quickly and was very tasty, especially the pasta with pistachio pesto was highly recommended.

Ordered startes sardigne and butter brot for 6€, it is just 3 bread slices with quarter slices of cherry tomato and 0,5 sardigne on each. The slices were only based with butter on the ends. A half footed dish. Ragu tagliatelle is mediocre at best. Way different than when İ first visited 6 months ago. Would not try again.

Enjoyed the place! Waited a bit until we could order, but all fine. Dishes and drinks came super fast. Expected more from the pistachio pasta but the truffle butter delivered. 🤝 Unfortunaltey not the best Tiramisu so still out on the never ending quest to find a tasty tiramisu in Berlin.

Real Italian restaurant! Very nice location, delicious dishes, especially the butter and sage ravioli, excellent quality-price. The desserts are also delicious. The only thing to improve is German.

Very small and cozy restaurant with one of the best spinach ravioli dishes I’ve had in my life :) Homemade pasta can be purchased for 5 Euro to take home and cook. Definitely will return!

Unglaubliches Essen in einem unscheinbaren und kleinem Lokal. Was die Jungs aus einer 3m² Küche rausbekommen ist unglaublich! Absolute Empfehlung, wenn man einen Platz bekommt.

Dishes look beautiful, the place is intimate and warm, but the food tastes suprisingly average. Waitress was quite rude and not accomodating, focused on chatting with a friend, she forgot our drinks while we were the only people there, and had an attitude from the start, so we decided we’re better off getting them elsewhere. Will be giving it another chance tho

Bad experience. I‘ve been there before but this time the service was so so bad. I can’t remember I’ve been anywhere before where it was such a catastrophe. The food is good tho but overpriced. We were on a waiting list and got asked to come back after 40 minutes. No problem! It’s what we did. When we came back the waiter told us we gotta wait five more minutes outside in the cold. After 20 minutes outside we had to go in again and ask. No one asked us if we want a drink. No one gave any info or apologized. Then we were allowed to wait inside the restaurant for another fifteen minutes. They forgot the olives we ordered, it took them three times to bring the bread. They did not come to our table so that we could order our main course. Then they brought the wrong meals. No one even thought of saying sorry. And that’s not enough they played super loud Eurodance all the time. I would recommend to not go to this place ever. It’s bad.

Fantastic place. It has a look of an old fashioned Italian grocery store - we went at a busy time and got lucky to grab a spot at the ample counter. We ordered the pistachio pasta and a cherry tomato pasta, both were fresh and delicious! The pistachio pasta was special - a very rich and unusual dish, I still dream of it. Was the perfect meal the night before the marathon! If you’re from NYC, I would say this is better than the hard to get into and highly sought after Lilia. 😋😋😋

Incredibly rude- the entitled & rude woman told us they had no room when clearly there were seats available and the restaurant had 2 hours until closing.

We shared a few different types of pasta. The one with pistachio was a clear favourite. That said, everything we got was delicious. The prices were fair and Aperol Spritz still costs just 5 euros here. They took card too. You may have to wait a little while for a table but definitely worth it.

Total süßes kleines italienisches Restaurant mit freundlichem Service. Die Pasta sind selbst gemacht und waren sehr lecker. Sehr faires Preisleistungsverhältnis. Man sitzt gemütlich und fühlt sich wie in Italien. Wäre ich aus Berlin, wäre es mein Lieblingsort.
