My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Bohème. The service was perfect from start to finish. The menu was clearly explained and the staff was consistently courteous. The best service we have personally experienced. Every single dish was of the highest quality, so the price is justified. We will definitely come back!

Great steak, ample wine list, solid service

Lisa is the best server ever, we were there for brunch. Some people can learn a thing or two ;) but she was really very attentive, quick and friendly. She served the food, our waiter had three rounds of drinks Two of the dishes we ordered were not brought and we were often ignored at the table. Had to order at the bar, which didn't work because only one drink came. It was then said that the waiter was just old. He didn't look particularly old to me, but well, older than the rest of the young staff. We were just unlucky with the waiter, everything else and the rest of the staff were great. Absolute recommendation.

An absolutely fantastic experience! 🥩 The steak was perfectly cooked - nice and crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender and juicy on the inside. The selection of side dishes and sauces was impressive and perfectly rounded off the taste experience. The ambience in the restaurant is cozy and stylish, ideal for a special evening. The service was excellent - the staff were very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. You can tell that people work here with passion. Value for money is absolutely appropriate for the quality on offer. If you're looking for a real steak experience, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back.

The best Chateaubriand I've ever tasted!

Very familiar restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Manageable map. We had an aperitif, Moules Frites once with and once without Roquefort and Tarte Tatin and espresso. The Roquefort mussels were a bit too peppery. The time between courses became very long. The tart was worth the wait though!

Unfortunately, we have to report on highly unprofessional and legally questionable business practices. We were issued “performance-based” vouchers that suddenly could no longer be redeemed after just a few months. Instead, we were forced to pay an additional €10 per guest in order to be able to use the vouchers at all. According to the consumer advice center, this approach is not permitted. Nevertheless, La Boheme continues its questionable and apparently illegal methods and thus carries out rip-offs at the expense of its customers. Quote from the consumer protection center: However, the voucher describes a specific service, for example a "Foot massage", any price increases in the meantime are irrelevant as the voucher was only issued for a "service" and not for a "value". P.S. We will not grant La Boheme any further credit in the form of advance payments for vouchers that will no longer be validly redeemable at a later date. ==>> REPLY to La Bohème's statement from October 22, 2024: Unfortunately, it is regrettable that La Bohème continues to refer to the “goodwill aspect” while ignoring the legal framework that clearly speaks against business conduct. The consumer advice center has made it clear that so-called “performance-related” vouchers, such as those issued in our case, are not applicable to price changes because they were issued for a specific service and not for a monetary value. The subsequent demand of €10 per person to redeem the vouchers is therefore inadmissible and a violation of contract law. A company like La Bohème that ignores the rights of its customers in this way is acting illegally, regardless of a supposedly “customer-friendly” policy. Although La Bohème claims in its response that the vouchers have “no expiry date”, we were nevertheless repeatedly allowed to redeem them only by paying an additional amount, which, in the opinion of the consumer advice center, represents a clear violation of the law. A voucher that is sold without clear restrictions must not suddenly be given additional conditions in order to be able to use it. The argument that price increases in the catering industry are normal and that guests' understanding is hoped for may be true in other cases, but has no legal relevance with regard to the redemption of vouchers. Vouchers that were issued for a specific service are unaffected by subsequent price increases because the customer has already paid for this service. Therefore, La Bohème's approach remains opaque and legally vulnerable. The company's disregard for existing consumer rights shows that it is basing its business model at the expense of its customers, which is not only unprofessional but can also potentially lead to criminal prosecution. What is particularly alarming 🚨 is that numerous customers have already been systematically harmed and these questionable business practices are continuing.

The food is to die for and the service is incredibly friendly and attentive. We had the sharing dinner and were completely satisfied.

Really outstanding! One of my favorite restaurants in Munich. Here the high prices are really justified. The steaks are to die for, the side dishes and wine selection are perfect. The ambience is just right, the service very professional and yet with a certain pleasant relaxedness. Very polite, not arrogant. Overall: That's exactly how it works. Many other Munich restaurants could learn here.

Unfortunately the steaks were not medium rare as ordered but were still very rare. Thanks to the show, the side dishes were also cold at the table. Drinks and service were great. Unfortunately, the volume in the restaurant became very loud.

We were spontaneously looking for a nice address for our Munich weekend. Google was our guide and La Bohème was the destination. We were greeted very friendly by two ladies and taken to the bar at our request. The bartender was very attentive and accommodating. We were craving something sweet and we weren't disappointed. The Mi-cuit Au Chocolat was on point. My attentive eye did not miss the shout-out to the kitchen in the dessert menu. As a thank you, the chef representative came out with two homemade chocolates and a dedication. After this mini visit, we can only warmly recommend La Bohème.

Great meat, good wine and fantastic service

Our experience was amazing, We are traveling from the US for the October Festival. Since the second we entered we felt surrounded by the most professional people we experienced in our Munich trip. The drinks were wow, Appetisers and the main courses were out of this world but the best experience we had was by the restaurant manager Simon. He is a true gentleman and the most professional person in his field. He made our experience unforgettable. This will be our first stop on our next journey to Munich. Simon thank you for your hospitality.

We were at La Boheme on the occasion of my husband's birthday and were completely positively impressed: he was congratulated by name when we greeted him, the service was incredibly attentive, courteous and fast, and the food was very good (it's also available here for non-meat eaters). great options!). For dessert, the whole crew came to our table singing “Happy Birthday” - with sparklers and a surprise dessert, which we were not charged for. An all around great experience and highly recommended!

It was very tasty, I highly recommend the meat in this restaurant, very high quality. The presentation of the dish is also excellent. It is better to reserve a table in advance as there are usually a lot of people there in the evening.

The restaurant pose itself as a high-end french steakhouse, but in truth the food is not particularly good and the ambience is kitsch. For 20 euros we had an appetizer of “tuna sashimi” that consisted in four thinly sliced pieces of tuna that put on top of each other form an ordinary piece of sashimi. The taste was ... I don't know because they were covered in a sauce and so that's the only thing you taste. For main dish we had the Chateaubriand. Once again, lots of unnecessary show in the flambe' procedure in front of you, so that people can have their instagram story, but taste was average at best. Certainly not at the level of any steakhouse, let alone of a high-end one.

Great ambience and service, only the taste of the food (flamed tataki) on the evening of our visit didn't come close to the price quoted. The fillet, flambéed with much fanfare at the table, tasted surprisingly bland. The dynamite prawns, on the other hand, were the highlight together with the tartare

We went to La Boheme for brunch based on a recommendation. It was just perfect. The food, drinks and service were awesome. You definitely get something for your money. The brunch is definitely recommended.

Were in Munich for the first time and discovered this great restaurant. The food was amazing (see photos): We had beef sashimi, beef tartare and the best truffle tagliatelle I have ever eaten! The service was also excellent (very attentive, courteous and professional). The next time we are in Munich again, we will definitely come back!

La Boheme in Munich is a fantastic restaurant with amazing meat and seafood. The steaks are perfect, and the fresh seafood is a treat. Pair it with their excellent rosé or Barolo wines for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

The restaurant basically offers an excellent culinary experience. The dishes are handcrafted to a high standard, taste excellent and are attractively presented. The modern ambience invites you to linger, and the service is extremely attentive and friendly - you feel comfortable. However, there are a few restrictions for vegans and vegetarians. Except for 1 main course, there is no vegan offering and truffle is the dominant element in the vegetarian dishes: pasta with truffle, truffle risotto, truffle fries... If, like me, you don't like truffles, it's difficult. The burrata would also have been a choice, but it is a buffalo burrata - yes, I am aware that it is supposed to be "higher quality", but in terms of taste it is certainly not for everyone, including mine. So I was a little unhappy. Despite these challenges, what I ultimately chose was truly excellent ("Burnt Aubergine") was a highlight and the desserts were all to die for. Another plus point are the mocktails and homemade lemonades. Like all other things, they are not exactly cheap, but they taste great. Thanks to the limited food selection, I had more space for this. So overall a restaurant with great potential and high quality, but with restrictions for certain dietary preferences.

We went there for dinner for the first time yesterday. The food was very good. The service was top and also very friendly Although we had to wait quite a long time for the main course, we were compensated with a drink and dessert on the house. We were there with a dachshund and I have to say I have never been greeted with such a friendly welcome with a dog as in this restaurant. . There was a blanket ready, the steam was ready and there was even a dog menu. Great!

However, we were particularly enthusiastic about the prawns, the truffle risotto and the truffled mashed potatoes as a side dish. We'll be back!

We were in this location for the first time at the beginning of August. Nothing special from the outside. Not an eye-catcher. But super cozy interior with comfortable lounge, small glass fireplaces and lots of greenery (I can only speak for the terrace.). We chose the flying brunch, which takes place on the weekend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The presentation is worth highlighting, as you don't have to constantly go to the buffet and wait until other guests have loaded their plates or filled their coffee cups. The service comes directly to the table. What should be emphasized here is that the staff is very helpful and friendly. That alone makes the visitor feel welcome and valued. The dishes were at the table quickly. The drinks are regularly refilled. Top quality and taste! Wide selection. In my opinion, value for money is absolutely fine. We'll definitely be back.

Definitely recommended Addendum: 1.5 years ago I bought a brunch voucher and today when I redeemed it I had to pay an additional €10 because the price had increased in the meantime. It wasn't a voucher for a specific value but simply for brunch. I've never experienced anything like that and I'm wondering what the point of such vouchers is?

Very tasty food, but the service made a lot of mistakes. Ordered an appetizer, it was forgotten, side dishes did not come with the food. Afterwards coffee with pousse café, also had to ask twice. Okay, it was busy. But everything went wrong, not just one thing. That put a damper on the joy.

We went there for dinner for my partner's birthday. The food was incredibly tasty and the prices were totally reasonable. We had reserved and were allowed in a few minutes early. The waiters were super nice and even gave us tips on how to get the steak as good at home.

The Food was extremely overpriced and for this amount of money it is really not worth it to go and eat here. There are by far better Stake houses in the Munich area than La Boheme. The service was still very good.

We came here for my wife’s birthday and to celebrate this special evening! The best part was being joined by family here in Munich! We were immediately greeted and sat and with kids being able to get food in quickly was a big plus for us! Moving onto the great wine selection made by Simon, we had the best whites and reds to go with our seafood and steaks! Having kids with us, we had a great surprise to know they had a magician come around and do tricks at the table. I can say I am still trying to figure out how he did these tricks. The magician was George Busch and was very talented and kid friendly. The ambiance was of a hip /soho type steakhouse and was great! The desserts like the snicker bar helped elevate the evening and wanting more:) Thank you to Simon and team for making my wife’s birthday a memorable one! Also, for Bogie for the tequila drinks!!

The prices are very brave, but there is nothing brave with the food. Beef Tartar was below average for our taste, flamed Tataki had nothing special and too heavily marinated. I had to push myself to finish my Tournedos Rossini, the meat was not cooked at the desired level... The only satisfying offering was the Dynamite Prawns. Still, the employees were amazing, offered a friendly and caring service. However, I can easily count 100 better restaurants in Munich.

We recently went to the Alpina winemakers' evening at La Boheme and what can I say? The wines were good, but the food was amazing. Creative, with great, high-quality ingredients and technically perfectly executed. Every dish was so well thought out and was a lot of fun to eat! Thank you very much for this great evening. Even on any other day and without an event, La Boheme is one of our favorite addresses when we feel like good food.

Good cuts of meat but found service a bit off, maybe lack of experience as they are quite young. In one instance the waitress wanted me to help lift the table, which in a Michelin guide restaurant is a first. On the positive side the outdoor seating is amazing and the flowers are well taken care of, which adds to a quite good atmosphere. Quite a good wine list.

Like almost all steakhouses, overpriced. But that's just how they all are. Taste okay. There's more of a show here. But it's good! Magician at the table, flambéed steak, farewell drink on the house. Ambience very nice. Missing vintage wine was replaced with the older, more expensive one at a cheaper price. Otherwise steakhouses get three stars per se (because it's simply uncomplicated cooking at expensive prices). This one gets four. Because of everything around it. Who got five? A Hamburg chain... because it's all about the essentials.

Young, fit team with very good food. We spent a very successful evening there. Detailed wine/champagne and food menu. If you like steak and related things, this is the place for you. We had the 'sharing-for-two' menu for our wedding anniversary - definitely recommended. The service is pleasantly confident, capable and passionate about what they do. Every wish is heard. The many positive reviews are absolutely justified.

The brunch at La Boheme is a blast! The excellent flat-rate food and drink is brought to the table by very friendly, attentive and competent service staff. If you want, you can order the dishes (drinks anyway) multiple times. We have rarely had such a nice and high-quality stay in a restaurant! Gladly again. The relatively high price is worth the brunch! 😊

A mixed experience - the food is undoubtedly excellent. Unfortunately the relaxed ambience sneaks up on the waiters resulting in too many small errors and irregularities for a pricey place like this. CHECK YOUR CHECK before you pay! Had the ribeye and the spinach- high standard. Outdoor service is a big plus on a summers evening like this. The restaurant proper seems very classy.

A nice steak house restaurant with a nice offer of cuts and wines. The service is good but not very personal. They put up a nice show and manage to put a price on it. All in all it was a nice experience but it comes out with a price. There are places around the city with better food for a better price but still La Bohème is a good restaurant.

My girlfriend invited me to dinner for my birthday last Friday. We wanted to try something new for ourselves and decided on LA BOHEME in Schwabing. At first the service was very courteous, and the magician hired by the restaurant also made the waiting time pleasant. We decided on the sharing dinner. The starter was okay, but could have been a little more varied and spicier. The main course, a Chateaubriand, was flambéed at the table. The show was good, although the waiter was a bit foolish when it came to flambéing. Unfortunately, meat had hardly any taste of its own. In my opinion, flambéing for 10 seconds doesn't allow the outer skin to caramelize enough. In other words, I've eaten tastier, higher quality meat for less money. The restaurant itself can't do anything about that, but given the price, the quality of the supplier should be enough. Otherwise, the meat was cooked to the desired level. As a side dish we chose, among other things, the small potatoes in pesto. Of what felt like 8 pieces, 2 were barely edible because they weren't cooked enough. The waiter confirmed this and promised a small compensation. A nice move, but there was no compensation in the end: neither before a drink on the house nor in any other way throughout the evening. Finally the dessert came. According to the menu, it lists cheesecake, various crème brulees, ice cream, etc. Take a look at the photo. The two little dots in the middle, yes that is the cheesecake. And yes, this should be for two people. I compared this with the other reviews here. There are actually people who gave 5 stars even though they didn't have any cheesecake on their dessert platter, nor did they have any substitute in case you want to speculate that they didn't want one. We had two appetizers and others had at least cheesecake in a quantity that could be called a "piece". It's the least that is served the same, in the same quantity and quality. The really good creme brulee doesn't come out anymore. Oh and compared to the menu, powdered sugar and fruit count as garnishes for me. Then it becomes rare on the plate. Well, we wanted to change the table from outside to inside because my girlfriend was freezing. Unfortunately, the service quality was over. The waiter from before no longer felt responsible, the service inside had no time for us. We wanted to pay and leave. I then spent another 20 minutes waving and talking to the waiter. Positive: Parking ticket had expired but no ticket. All in all: we're not coming anymore.

Great place in Parkstadt Schwabing. Despite the name it is not a French restaurant, but really a great place for steaks. During the waiting time we were entertained by a small magic show. The meat was excellent 👌

We came here for dinner for my husband's birthday and not only was the food phenomenal but our server Bojan really went above and beyond to make the evening memorable and fun. He made excellent wine and food recommendations and brought a lot of fun to our table while we dined. We will be back and hopefully seated again in his section !

Last Sunday I went to the flying brunch at La Bohème in Schwabing and was thrilled. The atmosphere is stylish and cozy, perfect for a relaxed Sunday. The food is served directly to the table and is fresh and delicious. Particularly noteworthy is the great service - friendly, attentive and professional. The price is reasonable for the quality and variety. An all-round successful brunch – I’ll be happy to come back!

Visiting from the Netherlands and searching for something near the hotel, this was a complete surprise. The food is excellent and the service is great. When back in Munich I would visit again.

The restaurant has an unexpectedly relaxed atmosphere with friendly service. High-priced dishes are partly available to share, which is nice on the turntable in the middle. The four of us were able to have our aperitif on the terrace beforehand and I found that very flexible. I had very tasty tagliatelle with truffles. Our friend treated himself to a Wagyu steak... which came without any side dishes... and waiting for it allowed the meat to cool down quickly, even though it was only 55 degrees anyway, which was what was ordered. The plate wasn't hot and THAT should be taken for granted at this price. The four of us also didn't all get our food at the same time. The wine we ordered with the steak was forgotten... but to compensate, we got another glass on the house... we also got the desert variation on the house! We found this reaction very professional. All in all, everything should be suitable in this price segment. But it was an experience. Will do it again...then we'll see what happens. ;-)
