A beautiful place to watch the sunset. From the meatballs to the potato salad, everything is delicious and highly recommended. Cult and dated, but everything has charm. That's why it's fitting that the service is a bit slow.

Can't say anything about the hermitage. We sat outside in the spa building. Great view of the sea and beach.

Simply full marks. An absolute insider tip... The terrace was full, but we still received friendly service. Great guests, great atmosphere... This is our fourth visit to Dangast, but today is our first time at the Klause... But definitely not the last. Keep it up... Hats off... one person rocked it all.

Absolute highlight of our Dangast stay! Sunset with draft beer, an excellent meatball with potato salad, an absolutely friendly waiter and on top of that you can play a game of table football. Keep it up, thank you very much and see you next year!

Hey... Most iconic pub ever: Awesome sunset over the Jade Bay, delicious Jever (a kind of scone) and... you always meet people. Daniel has everything under control with his Frisian charm. We've been going here for 20 years... and we keep coming back. Highly recommended!

A real insider tip!!! Update. Unfortunately, for the second time we have experienced that the pub sometimes simply doesn't open, even though the internet and the signs on site say it is open. Happened again on Saturday 1.2.24-6:30 p.m. it was supposed to be open - but no one was there! That's not so cool...

A must-visit when in Dangast. A quaint, cozy pub of a kind you unfortunately don't find very often these days. A half-liter of Meisel's wheat beer for €4.50. Where else can you find something like that? During opening hours in good weather, you should get there early, otherwise you might not get a seat. The proprietor, Daniel, is exceptionally talented. He runs the restaurant all by himself and does so at a breathtaking pace. Always in a good mood and very friendly.

Nice bar for a relaxing evening with the sunset over the sea. Very courteous and friendly service. The German European Championship games will be broadcast in the winter garden. It's worth being early.

Great pub, would love to come back again

We were absolutely thrilled! The drinks were very good and on the table quickly. I've never had such fresh lemon slices in my drink. A single person can make all guests completely happy, something that most restaurants with 4-8 employees could not do. There are also little things to eat and the view is simply beautiful. We were lucky enough to admire the tide and then the sunset. We will definitely visit Klause again.

This is our second time here. Such a beautiful place to relax and unwind, especially beautiful at sunset. Everything is just perfect here. The drinks, the food, and the fast, friendly service. We'd love to come back.

An absolutely pleasant evening at the Kurhaus Klause! From the moment we entered until we said goodbye, we felt warmly welcomed and well looked after. The boss was extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was deliciously prepared and the selection of drinks is recommended. Particularly noteworthy is the willingness to help and attentiveness over the telephone, which made our visit pleasant in advance. We would definitely like to come back and can highly recommend this restaurant!

When we are in Dangast it is a must visit. In summer at sunset on the terrace with a view of the Jade Bay. In bad weather, very rustic and cozy in the seating area or at the bar. The food is snacks and small things. The best ever far and wide! You like the hermitage or you don't like it. In any case worth testing.

Beste Kneipe in Dangast mit Kultstatus.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend mit lieben netten Menschen, die uns sehr ans Herz gewachsen sind. Die Atmosphäre war einzigartig und wir sind froh, dass wir das Licht gesehen haben und rein gegangen sind.

Super Kneipe, tolle Atmosphäre…hier erlebt man das wahre Dangast. Prost 😉👍🏻

Ich liebe die Klause und bin sehr dankbar, dass sie auf ist. Ein Ort, wenn man hier oben lebt, wo man während des Aufenthalt dort, sich wie im Urlaub fühlt. Die tollste Terrasse ever, super netter aufmerksamer Service. Wann immer ich Zeit finde, fahre ich dort hin. Ehrlich gesagt, am liebsten, wenn nicht mehr so viele Touris da sind. ;-) Dann findet man auch immer einen Platz draussen. Gegessen habe ich dort noch nie. Kann aber auch nur gut sein. Also wenn ihr eine Auszeit braucht, geht zur Klause! Wunderbar!

Wunderbarer Ort zum Sonnenuntergang. Gegessen habe ich nichts, sah aber sehr gut aus. Obwohl Daniel allein war, sind alle Gäste glücklich geworden. Eile mit Weile. Ist ja Urlaub!

Wenn es schon jemanden nach Dangast verschlägt, dann ist dieses Lokal ein Muss! Sehr netter Wirt, der seinen Job und seine Gäste mag. Biergarten mit Blick auf die Nordsee und kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür.

Wir wurden sooooo freundlich bedient. Danke dafür:)! Die Getränke standen ruckzuck auf dem Tisch, das Ambiente- traumhaft schön und zuckersüß! Der schönste Platz in Dangast!

Eine wunderschön urige und gemütliche Kneipe. Der Herr hinter der Theke war super sympathisch und hatte seinen Job wirklich gut im Griff. Es gibt sogar Kleinigkeiten zu Essen auf der Karte. Abends bei Kerzenschein sein Bier und ein paar Kurze trinken zwischen netten Menschen und direkt am Wasser… Was gibt es Schöneres?

Wunderschönes Ambiente und Daniel der Wirt ist mit Abstand der netteste Gastronom den man hier finden kann. Essen habe ich diesmal nicht getestet aber nächstes mal bestimmt. Denn wieder komme ich auf jeden Fall 😃. Ein absoluter place to be ✌️😎

Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen Aber die Location und die Aussicht sind toll Getränke Auswahl oft super…jeder wird etwas finden

Zwei Abende in Dangast- zweimal gern den Abend hier bei Daniel verbracht. Tolle Lage, toller Service, Wohlfühlambiente- beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall wieder!

Nach dem ich am Strand nach dem Besäufnis aufgewacht bin war das Frühstück hier die beste Möglichkeit wieder Leben in meinen schimmeligen Kadaver reinzubekommen. Also ich will nicht sagen, dass ich weiter gesoffen habe, aber auf die Frage Kaffee oder Tee antwortete ich mit Bier. Als hätte er es gerochen, stand mein Kumpel mit dem ich am Tag zuvor mit dem Aldi PET Bier angefangen hatte am Tisch. Der Zustand seinen Gesichtes ließ nur 2 mögliche vorangehensweisen für den den weiteren Tagesverlauf zu: entweder Krankenhaus oder Leberbehopfung. Die Entscheidung wurde Ihm abgenommen als die Kellnerin mit meinem kürzlich bestellten Hopfenkaltgetränk am Tisch stand. Wir direkt 4 halbe geordert und bei den feinsten leckeren, welches das Buffet zu bieten hat, die Besinnung wieder auf Auszeit gesetzt. Geiler Abend, geiler morgen. Kann ich nur empfehlen

Nur hier kann man d e n Sonnenuntergang bewundern. Nette Atmosphäre, nette Gäste und Elke ist die Seele des Betriebs mit einer sehr guten Menschenkenntnis...

Der hidden Champion unseres Urlaubs! Unglaublich nette Bedienung, Jever vom Fass und das selbstgebackene Brot mit Krabben…. Wir wollen gar nicht mehr weg 😊

Super schön gelegen. Wir haben unsere Getränke mit traumhafter Aussicht und nettem Service genossen.

Sehr unfreundliches Personal Nachdem niemand zum Empfang kam, haben wir uns erlaubt die Terrasse zu betreten, das wurde sehr unfreundlich kommentiert. Wir kamen uns vor wie Schulkinder.

Durch Zufall haben wir die Klause entdeckt und dort einen schönen Abend verbracht. Krabbensuppe und Kartoffelsalat mit Matjes waren sehr lecker. Der Blick ist traumhaft.

Total versteckt unweit des Kulturhauses gelegen, weiß die Klause in jeder Hinsicht zu überzeugen, wenn man sie erst einmal gefunden hat. Der wunderschöne Sonnenuntergang ergänzt das kühle Bier und das leckere Essen. Top Bedienung.
