We were vacationing in Dresden for a few days, looking for a restaurant near our hotel, and stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. A very nice and cozy atmosphere, impeccable service, and exceptionally delicious, outstanding food. Highly recommended!

It's very nice to sit in the garden and also in the house. I think it's a shame that the memory card isn't being updated. The same menu has been available for many years. I would be happy if they tried out more.

The food is very delicious. The garnish and the taste were good. Nevertheless, I'm wavering between 3 and 4 stars. Why? You arrive, walk into the restaurant, and instead of a warm welcome, "Good day," the owner yells, "We only serve outside." All that's missing is, "Get out of here." You get the cushions for the chairs yourself. You can't shake the feeling that you're not welcome, we have enough guests. The service at the table was good. The Kümmelbräu is still on the menu, but it seems to have been unavailable since last year. It can happen, so I'll just remove it. The substitute is very tasty and should be on the menu.

For our family, the Kümmelschänke has been a small oasis on the outskirts of the city for many years, a place where you simply feel at home. The lofty heights, the beautiful garden with its vines, the friendly service, and the freshly prepared food make you forget the stress of everyday life. A good beer and a pleasant house wine are also part of the experience. All the activities for children are also very nice! And for guests who can still walk, there's a magical path through hilly orchards to the Kümmelschänke.

I was there yesterday and the atmosphere was very nice. The service was very friendly and even up for a bit of a joke. The food was very good and served quickly. It's probably a good idea to pre-order on weekends. Parking is a bit limited, but that's due to the location.

It was a wonderful evening with excellent food in truly beautiful surroundings. We celebrated in the "Kümmelhütte," which is located a little off the beaten track in the middle of nature. The staff took excellent care of us; we were truly pampered. I highly recommend it.

A very nice restaurant with a cool, shady outdoor area. Unfortunately, we weren't served well today... the staff was overwhelmed by the number of guests, so we waited two hours for food and drinks, and one person had to leave without eating... please bring some structure to your establishment... that's how you drive away guests... A family celebration was given preferential treatment... I won't be a guest here again anytime soon... what a shame considering the lovely ambiance.

I've been back for the first time in many years. Yes, a lot has changed, except for the menu. The pottery workshop is unfortunately completely gone. But the food is still simple, down-to-earth, and delicious. The service is as friendly and fast as ever. The prices have adjusted to the general Dresden standards. The ambiance is still great—pure nature. Just try it for yourself.

The Kümmelschänke is a pearl of cosiness. The ambience and service are friendly, rustic and easy to enjoy. The food is hearty but with a modern touch and definitely recommended for vegetarians as it is not just substituted but well cooked.

Rather rustic from the outside, but normal, clean and tidy inside. In the backyard there is a slide with some climbing for the children.

We went to a flea market on a Saturday that was open until 1 p.m. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't open until 2 p.m. I would have liked a dip with the ribs (offer of the day) instead of the dry bread

Very popular restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, friendly service staff and good food. Because the place is so popular, it is unfortunately difficult to find a parking space among the many residents. I had parked NEXT to a driveway and the resident called out that he would have me towed if I stopped there. When asked if he still had to leave this evening, he replied "I don't know yet"... It's better to plan a little more travel.

We were once again in the Kümmelschänke for years. The service is great. The food was consistently good. The flat bread with 3 sauces is particularly delicious. We like to sit in the seating area at the entrance on the right, but we were a bit cold because the entrance door kept opening and closing. But tea and vodka helped. The Kümmelschänke is always worth a trip to Omsewitz and has our recommendation. Thanks to the team.

A nice inn with delicious, especially vegetarian, food. The service was okay, the place was packed due to a celebration. What was particularly tasty: the flatbread and the chicken on the tapa plate. That was sensationally good. The only drawback: there are two or three meat dishes missing from the menu. Not every guest likes vegetarian food. The only alternative was a strong ragout, a tapas plate with three chicken cubes and two fish dishes. A delicious goulash and steak might be good for a tavern... The jacket potatoes were at the limit. As a chef, I wouldn't have served these like this.

Wurde mir empfohlen und das absolut zu Recht! Die Location ist sehr einladend und der Außenbereich überraschend großzügig mit Terrasse, Holzpavillon, Kinderspielplatz, Biogarten, Holzbackofen.... Personal war sehr nett und schnell. Die Karte war überraschend vegetarisch/vegan. Wer Schnitzel-Pommes erwartet wird enttäuscht und muss Mal auf einen Aktionstag warten. Die Karte hat sich vegatarisch/saisonal gelesen. Es wird auch ein eigenes Bier angeboten. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Runterkommen. Wir waren hier zum ersten und sicher nicht letzten Mal essen. So einen Service wünsche ich mir zum Ausgehen. Nicht aufdringlich und dennoch präsent. Ein gutes Team das Hand in Hand agiert. Unsere gewählten Speisen haben den ersten Eindruck sogar noch übertroffen. Auf den Punkt abgeschmeckt, optisch genau ins Schwarze getroffen und von der Portionsgröße mehr als ausreichend geht hiermit ein Lob an den Koch raus. Ein Geheimtipp der unbedingt aufgesucht werden sollte.

Wir waren im allgemeinen schon zufrieden. Essen war sehr lecker. AAABER. Mein Essen essen muss ich sagen, war scho etwas sparsam angerichtet. Geschmack top aber satt bin ich leider nicht geworden. Meine Bewertung 3 Sterne beziehen sich nur auf die menge. Ambiente einfach nur absolut gemütlich und ansprechend.

Wir waren zu einem Zuckertüten-Fest meiner Nichte eingeladen. Ich kannte die Kümmelschenke bisher nicht, war sehr angenehm überrascht. Man kann auch bei Hitze wunderbar draußen sitzen, da die Tische schattig unter Bäumen verteilt sind. Das Ambiente hat mir besonders gut gefallen und den Kindern auch. Sie konnten toben, es gab einen schönen Spielplatz. Sogar Roller fahren haben die Kleinen problemlos hinbekommen. Man konnte, mit oder ohne Kind, verschiedene Bereiche erkunden. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und geduldig, trotz der Vielzahl an Gästen. Das Essen fanden wir alle außergewöhnlich. Sehr ideenreich und super lecker. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in jedem Fall angemessen. Ein kleiner Parkplatz ist vorhanden, aber auch schnell voll. Für Rollstuhlfahrer ist es sicher eine kleine Herausforderung, aber durchaus machbar. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen, hätte auch 10 Sterne gegeben, und hier war ich sicher nicht zum letzten Mal.

Ich wäre gern öfter hier, da der Biergarten im Sommer wirklich super gemütlich ist. Leider sagt mir die Karte nicht zu und diese wurde nach mehreren Jahren erst dieses Jahr etwas angepasst.

Die Kümmelschänke ist schön gelegen. Sehr ruhige Umgebung. Ich war da als die Kümmelschänke gerade ihren Geburtstag feierte drum kann ich zum Service und Essen nur bedingt Aussagen machen aber das was es an diesem Tag da gab war sehr lecker. Und vor allem einfallsreich. Angereist sind wir mit der 12 bis Endstation und den Rest gelaufen. Ich bin von Natur aus faul aber das hin laufen durch die Natur bei schönen Wetter war selbst für mich angenehm und nicht anstrengen. War wirklich sehr schön.

Sehr schöner Platz im Freien haben gestern dort zum Mittagessen gegessen, alle waren vom essen begeistert, Bedienung sehr nett und flott, Bezahlung mit Karte möglich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Für die Kinder gibt's einen Spielplatz .

Die Kümmelschänke ist vorrangig eine Gaststätte mit großem Außenbereich für für das herkömmliche Essen. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist gut. Kuchen sind hausgemacht. Wer lieber einen leckeren Eisbecher essen möchte, sollte hier nicht allzu viel erwarten. Der Preis ist für die Größe des Eisbechers nicht angemessen. Da gibt es in diversen Eiscafes in der Umgebung hausgemachtes Eis in größeren Eisbechern zum selben Preis. Der Außenbereich ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.

Sehr nettes Lokal mit eher vegetarischer Küche die überzeugen kann. Sehr lecker und frisch gekocht. Für die Kinder gibt es einen Spielplatz mit Klettermöglichkeit.

Der Biergarten ist sehr schön. Das Essen war leider nicht besonders gut. Die Tomatensoße schmeckte sehr nach Tütensoße. Weder nach Knoblauch noch nach Peperoni hat es geschmeckt, sowie in der Karte beschrieben steht. Der Service ist auch ausbaufähig.
