We were there for dinner and sat outside on the terrace. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The menu is small and sufficient, and there was also a day menu. The food was delicious and we would definitely come back.

The food was okay, but the service was really subpar at times! The young man, quite nice and interested in solutions, his boss (?) unfortunately not, cannot be surpassed in terms of arrogance, both when placing and ordering. Prices are completely excessive for the portions. 8.50 for 15 pasta gratinated with cheese, actually without sauce. The fancy figs probably make up the price. Not recommended.

Great ambience. I can hardly say more because I was passing through with my wife and we wanted to have a cup of coffee. It was 11.36 and many tables were free. But they didn't want to serve us because only a breakfast buffet was offered until 12.00 would.Very inflexible and not really customer friendly for a holiday region.

We finally visited Krüger's today and are absolutely thrilled. Starting with the super nice service, through the chic, unusual furnishings of the restaurant and a terrace with a view of the wide meadows, to the exceptionally excellent food. We tried the menu once and are super happy with it. The schnitzel is wafer-thin, with super wavy breading. In terms of taste, all dishes were a 10/10 for our taste. Great. I would also give 6 stars if it were possible. We'll be back soon!

Even without a reservation, we quickly got a table. There is a very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere here. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food, like the drinks, is first class. Overall, highly recommended.

It's always nice to see when hosts understand how to put their efforts into action with extreme success and positive surprises in terms of quality and selection. That is exactly the case here. I've seen a lot of breakfast buffets and this stands out above all of them. Wish you will always maintain this standard.

We were there for breakfast. There was quite a large selection with something for everyone. From freshly made scrambled and fried eggs, waffles to bake yourself, cakes and pastries. Fish, sausage and cheese selection and not to forget fruit and vegetables. I deduct one star for the price at €19.50 per person without coffee, which I think is quite expensive. There are two of us with a 4 year old child. Paid almost 70€ for 4 coffee lattes.

Three of us (2 adults and a toddler 2.5 years old) came here for breakfast on a Saturday. The quality of the food was really high, there was great freshly baked bread and nothing was missing. Absolute recommendation! It's especially great with small children, as there is also a fenced-in playground outside and even a small petting zoo with goats and alpackas. So you can have a relaxed breakfast there with children and have a great time. The staff is absolutely service-oriented and friendly. We would love to come back again, really great!

Very nice restaurant near Steinhuder Meer. The restaurant offers delicious food and the service is quick. There is plenty of space inside and outside. You can play mini golf because children could visit a small animal corner. There is also a playground. The restaurant has a good selection of meat dishes and vegetarian portions. The atmosphere and surroundings are simply wonderful. The restaurant is located in a quiet place, on a meadow. Before or after your meal you can hike, go to Steinhuder Meer and buy fresh milk nearby. Always fun to visit the restaurant.

Great farm restaurant, very extensive and delicious breakfast buffet, nice attentive service. Fun and games were also thought of: mini golf for everyone and alpacas to marvel at...really wonderful! And the price-performance ratio is right!!

We regularly go on short vacations around the Steinhuder Meer. And a visit to Krügers was part of it. This morning we were one of the first guests. Unfortunately, the offer has deteriorated significantly. Unimaginative types of cheese, boring selection of sausages and fish, lots of gap fillers. The lady at the scrambled eggs didn't feel like answering and remained silent. In return, our colleague addressed us on a first-name basis and chatted in a tavern-like manner. Their low-key sayings accompanied the entire atmosphere. We quickly left the Krügers, never to be seen again

Unfortunately, I have to say that I am really very disappointed with the breakfast. No croissants or sweets like you saw in the pictures. I don't necessarily need sweet pastries but croissants are part of such an expensive breakfast. The rolls didn't taste good at all. They were hard and dry. The waffles didn't taste good either. They were hard and dry. The waffle iron was probably broken, that was what the employee said. The scrambled eggs were delicious and the dips and bread were also delicious. But for 20 euros, it was just too much without coffee or tea expensive. The prices for coffee are really outrageous. We won't be coming here for breakfast again.

My husband and I ate in the evening and enjoyed brunch on Sunday and were very satisfied. The food was delicious and the brunch buffet was great. We were also served very nicely and attentively.

Simply TOP!!! The food is fabulous, the team is great fun and the ambience just makes you feel good. We're going here again; it's worth driving the extra 1.5 hours for the good food and the ambience. Take a trip to the Steinhudermeer and enjoy life.

We like to come to Mardorf with our motorhome. Not necessarily in high season but especially outside of it. Krügers is a great restaurant, nice staff, nicely decorated and above all with delicious food. Portions very good, moderate waiting time. One point deducted from the ambience because the acoustics go downhill with large groups. We would like to come again.

Were invited here for breakfast. Great atmosphere. Wonderful selection at breakfast... I particularly liked the different egg variants... fried eggs, omelets, etc. freshly prepared!

Rarely have I had such a delicious schnitzel. You can hear that it is freshly tapped. The breading makes waves and crunches.

It's the many little details that made breakfast at Krügers so extraordinary for us. The friendly welcome and personable manner alone were remarkable. The buffet itself was incredibly good and we can only recommend it without reservation.

Can only be recommended without reservation. After we drank a cappuccino there a few days ago to while away the waiting time, we ate there today. We actually expected something different. The cappucchino cost €4.50 and was delicious, but even in Hanover you pay a maximum of €3.80. But delicious with milk foam that not even every Italian can manage. Was worth the money. We looked at the menu the first time we were there and speculated about portion sizes. Our guess was that it was expensive with small, touristy portions. After all, we are in Mardorf. But we were disappointed. The food is reasonably priced for large portions that will fill up even a good eater. Straw pig steak, straw pig schnitzel, bowl and pans prepared deliciously and to the point. Side salad a highlight in itself. The starter with two dips and oven-fresh bread is also highly recommended and is enough to fill you up if you're a little hungry. Incredibly great atmosphere, super friendly and attentive staff. And the cake for dessert was simply amazing and delicious. I would also give it more than 5 stars because for the money we spent for four people today you can eat much worse and less in "good restaurants" (no names) in the city. Top location, great value for money for which you can also take a trip to Mardorf.

Very good quality and very tasty! There are now children's faces: it's great that this has been implemented. The petting zoo and playground are great for children! Very good selection of high quality alcoholic drinks; Cocos rum for example. Ambience inside and outside is very tasteful and very harmonious! Service very friendly! We will definitely be back and for Mardorf it is a location with style and culinary standards; in any case an enrichment! There will also be a barbecue buffet at the beginning of the month, which we will try next time. Please hold on and stay Mardorf!

Wir haben auf Unserer Steinhuder Meer 🚲RadTour, ausgiebig im Krüger's das Frühstück'sBuffett genossen.. absolut Spitze..es gab für jeden etwas Leckeres.. die Küche ist hervorragend & der Service sehr aufmerksam..Preis/Leistung ist unschlagbar.. absolut empfehlenswert ... Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder..und auch das Abendessen ist wirklich bemerkenswert 👍😜

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort zum Frühstücken. Sehr schönes Ambiente, man fühlt sich direkt Pudelwohl! Der Service und das Essen sind klasse, alle sind nett und Jasmin macht perfektes Rührei :)

Das Krüger's hatte heute erstmalig im neuen Jahr unter neuer/alter Führung wieder geöffnet. Wir hatten das klassische Schnitzel mit Sambalssauce und Pommes (19,50) und als vegane Auswahl das Süßkartoffel-Gemüse-Curry (15,50). Super freundlicher Service, sehr leckeres Essen, fast zu große Portionen und das gewohnt gemütliche Ambiente. Alles perfekt! Ja, Essengehen ist heutzutage teuer, aber im Krüger's stimmt die Leistung - wir kommen wieder!! Macht weiter so!

Sooooo gemütlich und mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wenn man mal am Steinhuder Meer ist, sollte man unbedingt diese Location besuchen. Der ganze Hof ist sehr eindrucksvoll. Krüger's Café und Restaurant, Hofladen und Bäckerei, es gibt viel zu entdecken.

5 Sterne reichen definitiv nicht für so ein tolles Frühstück.... Kurz alles perfekt, besser geht nicht.....

Wir waren heute mittag zufällig in dieses schöne, gemütliche Cafe/Restaurant eingekehrt...und angenehm überrascht! Wir haben ein leckeres Pie und einen Bauern-Eintopf mit einem leckeren Hausbrot bestellt. Das Essen war sehr gut, das Brot & Dip wirklich göttlich! Gute Portionen und der Preis war angemessen. Das Ambiente hat uns auch gefallen, sehr gemütlich und sauber! Auch der Service war aufmerksam!!!

Total gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant, man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Absolut freundlich Servicepersonal geniale Köchin die mit sehr viel Liebe kocht.

Parkplätze stehen in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Verfügung und im Freien befindet sich ein Spielplatz mit einem kleinen Streichelzoo für Kinder. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können diese Gastlichkeit zu 100 % empfehlen.

Wir sind sehr spontan eingekehrt und total postitiv überrascht worden von dem sehr geschmackvollem Interieur. Sehr freundlich, mit Witz und Humor wurden unsere Wünsche erfüllt,auch unser Hund bekam eine Wasserschüssel und genoss den Ausblick auf ein Gehege mit Alpakas, Hühnern und Ziegen. Die Küche ab 17Uhr hat uns mit leckerem Essen in rustikaler dekorativer Darbietung voll überzeugt. Vielen Dank den Betreibern und Mitarbeitern, wir wünschen weiterhin guten Erfolg!

Waren am Wochenende zum Frühstück im Krüger's. Neben dem schönen Ambiente war auch das Frühstücks-Buffet schön angerichtet - alleine das machte Appetit auf mehr. Leider kann man gar nicht soviel essen, wie man möchte. Dazu netter und schneller Service. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen und wir werden nicht das letzte Mal da gewesen sein :-)

4,5 Sterne. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, ist wirklich sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Hier kann man sich einen ganzen Abend wohl fühlen. Service war ganz nett. Das Essen war insgesamt wirklich gut. Einige Gerichte waren sehr gut, andere gut aber nicht überragend. Das Restaurant bietet tolle Aktionen, wie z.B. einen Street-Food-Tag. Die Gerichte haben zwar wenig mit Street-Food zutun, sind aber wirklich was Besonderes. Die Qualität ist top. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
