I was invited to the breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, there wasn't really any bread available. Charging an extra €12 for a small pot of coffee (3 1/2 cups) for four people is pretty steep.

I stumbled upon it by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is appealing and lovingly designed, both inside and out. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive (thanks again). The food is plentiful, including regional and homemade ingredients. I've never had such a delicious Wiener Schnitzel. The breading was light and crispy! The side salad was made with fresh ingredients and a great dressing. Highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had schnitzel with mushrooms and fries, as well as fried fish with potato salad. Both dishes tasted very good and the price-performance ratio was absolutely okay. Definitely recommended.

Highly recommended. After a hike around half of the Steinhuder Meer, I was extremely impressed by the presentation of the food and also the taste. Friendly service. Well chilled drinks. We relaxed well in the outdoor area. Unfortunately we didn't have time for the great desserts.

I give it 10 out of 5 stars because everything is perfect here and we felt very, very comfortable. The ambience is awesome! There are fun accessories everywhere that put a smile on your face. The staff is very nice, always a friendly word on their lips. And the food is very tasty, prepared with a lot of love and creativity. Yesterday we were so impressed by Jasmin's Currywurst that we went there again today and enjoyed Krüger's Bowl. I can fully recommend “Krüger’s” and am looking forward to the visit.

We always enjoy visiting Krügers. Today we were there for breakfast for the first time and will definitely do it again. The warm food is always excellent too! We often come in the afternoon for coffee and cake. Super friendly & attentive staff. The restaurant is furnished with great attention to detail and is super cozy. In summer we love sitting on the terrace. Another plus point here is definitely the playground and the enclosure with the animals for the children. By far the best restaurant in the region!

Great selection of fresh rolls and bread for the breakfast buffet, as well as cheese, jam, fruit etc., very good quality. Omelette or fried egg was freshly prepared by the chef. Very nice atmosphere. Charging station for electric cars in the parking lot behind the café. Price for the buffet was quite expensive, coffee was also included, but the taste/quality was really great. The only reason a point is missing is that it took a little longer for some things to be added.

Simply one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in my 18 years in Germany. This restaurant provides locally provided, sustainable and well cared for produce and meat. The quality of everything is excellent, and the preparation lives up to the raw materials. The food is simple, but so good. The service is friendly and quick. The ambiance is relaxed, friendly and with a touch of humour. Simply wonderful.

The two of us were there in the afternoon. We ordered a cappuccino and then of course the waffles. My wife with berries and I with walnut ice cream and cinnamon and caramel sauce. Super nicely prepared and very tasty. Then we came across the two New Year's Eve packages. We ordered one for New Year's Eve. The box was also excellently prepared. Everything was very tasty from the salmon burger to the chicken wings to the roast beef sandwich. Everything was great and a great idea. 100% we'll be back. So everyone who is at the Steinhuder Meer should stop there.

Super cozy restaurant, discovered by us by chance. From the cappuccino to the delicious food, we were thrilled. The schnitzels were professionally fried and tasted fresh and delicious. Also that pulled pork baguette, simply divine. The staff is super friendly and the service is perfect. The restaurant is so lovingly and comfortably furnished that you would like to stay here longer. Big praise to the operator including the team. We will definitely come back.

My wife and I went to Krügers for dinner today. The atmosphere is super nice and cozy. The service was top and the food was very tasty. 5 stars in all categories. I can only recommend it.

We always go to the breakfast buffet at “Krügers”. The service has not diminished despite the lack of staff everywhere; the selection at the buffet is still very good. The establishment surpasses all restaurants in Neustadt and the surrounding area. There is cheese from the board, regional sausage from the jar and ham, delicious spreads, waffles to make yourself, omelettes are prepared, a great selection of bread/rolls, O juice, prosecco and water are included.......now there are votes who complain about the price, what the hot drinks cost.....people, "SO WHAT", staff, energy and rent plus regional food also have to be paid!!!!!! We'd love to come back 👍

Beautifully decorated, there is good music playing and the staff is totally relaxed and friendly. The prices for the food are absolutely justified, it was super tasty, fresh and high quality! We didn't have to wait long for the food and the staff was very attentive. I'll definitely be back! :)

I was here for the breakfast buffet, everything was very tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately you have to pay extra for the café.

On the day of the craft market it was filled to capacity. Only 2 people in service. The two of them really gave it their all. Longer waiting times were rewarded with good food from the small menu.

We are here on a short vacation and were looking for a place to end the last evening. We found Krügers. A beautifully decorated restaurant, extremely friendly staff, very tasty food and great service. You immediately felt very comfortable. 😊 We can only warmly recommend it and would be happy to come back.😊

We spontaneously met 11 people for coffee on Saturday. Tasty coffee and tea, delicious tarts and cakes, especially the plum cake and last but not least, currywurst with fries for the "little ones", all of the *finest*. It was comfortable to sit on the terrace under large umbrellas. The children were in good hands in the playground and the petting area. We liked it so much that we'll be testing the inside soon.

The food was okay, but the service was really subpar at times! The young man, quite nice and interested in solutions, his boss (?) unfortunately not, cannot be surpassed in terms of arrogance, both when placing and ordering. Prices are completely excessive for the portions. 8.50 for 15 pasta gratinated with cheese, actually without sauce. The fancy figs probably make up the price. Not recommended.

Great ambience. I can hardly say more because I was passing through with my wife and we wanted to have a cup of coffee. It was 11.36 and many tables were free. But they didn't want to serve us because only a breakfast buffet was offered until 12.00 would.Very inflexible and not really customer friendly for a holiday region.

We finally visited Krüger's today and are absolutely thrilled. Starting with the super nice service, through the chic, unusual furnishings of the restaurant and a terrace with a view of the wide meadows, to the exceptionally excellent food. We tried the menu once and are super happy with it. The schnitzel is wafer-thin, with super wavy breading. In terms of taste, all dishes were a 10/10 for our taste. Great. I would also give 6 stars if it were possible. We'll be back soon!

It's always nice to see when hosts understand how to put their efforts into action with extreme success and positive surprises in terms of quality and selection. That is exactly the case here. I've seen a lot of breakfast buffets and this stands out above all of them. Wish you will always maintain this standard.

We were there for breakfast. There was quite a large selection with something for everyone. From freshly made scrambled and fried eggs, waffles to bake yourself, cakes and pastries. Fish, sausage and cheese selection and not to forget fruit and vegetables. I deduct one star for the price at €19.50 per person without coffee, which I think is quite expensive. There are two of us with a 4 year old child. Paid almost 70€ for 4 coffee lattes.

Three of us (2 adults and a toddler 2.5 years old) came here for breakfast on a Saturday. The quality of the food was really high, there was great freshly baked bread and nothing was missing. Absolute recommendation! It's especially great with small children, as there is also a fenced-in playground outside and even a small petting zoo with goats and alpackas. So you can have a relaxed breakfast there with children and have a great time. The staff is absolutely service-oriented and friendly. We would love to come back again, really great!

Very nice restaurant near Steinhuder Meer. The restaurant offers delicious food and the service is quick. There is plenty of space inside and outside. You can play mini golf because children could visit a small animal corner. There is also a playground. The restaurant has a good selection of meat dishes and vegetarian portions. The atmosphere and surroundings are simply wonderful. The restaurant is located in a quiet place, on a meadow. Before or after your meal you can hike, go to Steinhuder Meer and buy fresh milk nearby. Always fun to visit the restaurant.

Great farm restaurant, very extensive and delicious breakfast buffet, nice attentive service. Fun and games were also thought of: mini golf for everyone and alpacas to marvel at...really wonderful! And the price-performance ratio is right!!

Coffee only from 4 p.m. on Sundays

Unfortunately, I have to say that I am really very disappointed with the breakfast. No croissants or sweets like you saw in the pictures. I don't necessarily need sweet pastries but croissants are part of such an expensive breakfast. The rolls didn't taste good at all. They were hard and dry. The waffles didn't taste good either. They were hard and dry. The waffle iron was probably broken, that was what the employee said. The scrambled eggs were delicious and the dips and bread were also delicious. But for 20 euros, it was just too much without coffee or tea expensive. The prices for coffee are really outrageous. We won't be coming here for breakfast again.

We regularly go on short vacations around the Steinhuder Meer. And a visit to Krügers was part of it. This morning we were one of the first guests. Unfortunately, the offer has deteriorated significantly. Unimaginative types of cheese, boring selection of sausages and fish, lots of gap fillers. The lady at the scrambled eggs didn't feel like answering and remained silent. In return, our colleague addressed us on a first-name basis and chatted in a tavern-like manner. Their low-key sayings accompanied the entire atmosphere. We quickly left the Krügers, never to be seen again

My husband and I ate in the evening and enjoyed brunch on Sunday and were very satisfied. The food was delicious and the brunch buffet was great. We were also served very nicely and attentively.

Simply TOP!!! The food is fabulous, the team is great fun and the ambience just makes you feel good. We're going here again; it's worth driving the extra 1.5 hours for the good food and the ambience. Take a trip to the Steinhudermeer and enjoy life.

We like to come to Mardorf with our motorhome. Not necessarily in high season but especially outside of it. Krügers is a great restaurant, nice staff, nicely decorated and above all with delicious food. Portions very good, moderate waiting time. One point deducted from the ambience because the acoustics go downhill with large groups. We would like to come again.

Rarely have I had such a delicious schnitzel. You can hear that it is freshly tapped. The breading makes waves and crunches.

It's the many little details that made breakfast at Krügers so extraordinary for us. The friendly welcome and personable manner alone were remarkable. The buffet itself was incredibly good and we can only recommend it without reservation.
