An absolute insider tip in Stuttgart! Update: Unfortunately, the lunch portions have gotten smaller, which is a real shame. Lots of curry sauce, enough rice, but not enough vegetables or meat.

I went there for the first time with my parents on Sunday, even though I live two houses away 😅 but we've always been interested because the food always looks great and smells delicious as you walk by. The staff is really sweet and friendly, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. I will most likely come back for a special occasion. Highly recommended 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Honestly, the Thai food here has really not been good. The fried fish pieces have been hard and have had almost no taste, and the Thai milk tea has been way too sweet. We have even ordered three different ones – one original Thai milk tea with half sugar, one green milk tea with half sugar, and one green milk tea without sugar – but they have all tasted exactly the same. Really strange! When we have mentioned this to the waiter, he has simply said that they don’t even have green milk tea here. Couldn’t they have told us that when we ordered? I have really not found that to be good service, and it has made us feel kind of cheated and unrespected. First of all, the chalkboard menu clearly listed two types of Thai milk tea — “Original Thai Milk Tea” and “Green Thai Milk Tea” — not two types of “iced tea.” We even asked the waiter the difference between these two sorts. Secondly, when we asked the waiter whether the Thai milk tea could be made with less sugar, he said yes. That’s why we chose to have two different green milk tea （with no sugar & with half sugar) and one original milk tea (with half sugar). I have no idea why the restaurant has mistaken Thai milk tea for “Eistee”; they are completely different. Thirdly, if the restaurant really didn’t have green milk tea, the waiter should have honestly told us when bringing the drinks, instead of taking it upon himself to serve us two other drinks without ever asking for our opinion. We only learned the truth after noticing that all three drinks tasted the same and asking the waiter about it, and we had no choice but to passively accept it. That’s just ridiculous.

It was my first time there, and it won't be my last. I happened by and had green curry with baby eggplant. It was truly delicious, and the portion was so large that I'll definitely go back. The staff is super friendly!

It is understandable that the price of Mittagtisch is different from that of a formal dinner. I ate here in the evening, and a main course cost 19.9 euros. There was no other price on the menu, so I accepted it at the time. But when I went there with my friends at noon today, the price of the main course on the menu was 11.9 euros, and the bill after the meal was 19.9 euros. The reason was that there was no mitagtisch on Sundays, but you wrote on your homepage that you are not open on Sundays. Although there were only two tables in the whole restaurant including us, they still took away the table next to us at the beginning. Although there were no new customers until we left. I felt cheated and disrespected. I will never go there again.

Very tasty food, will come back, drive by often, first time there and very satisfied.

We arrived for lunch at 12 o'clock and were the only customers in the restaurant for the first half hour. Nobody came over to us to order, even though we were greeted and asked if it was okay to sit down. This meant we had to take the initiative to order. After 50 minutes we asked about our food and were told it would be ready in 7 minutes. After another half hour the same waiter asked us if we had ordered food yet. So after over 1 1/2 hours we left the restaurant without having eaten anything. There was no apology, nothing at all. The couple behind us had also been waiting for an hour by then, so I wouldn't recommend it as a place to eat lunch unless you have over 2 hours and don't want to be treated disrespectfully.

The food was – as you'd expect from Krua Thai Bolan 2 – simply delicious, with generous portions. Unfortunately, the service was a bit mixed this time: We were served by a temporary employee, and a few minor issues arose – one dish was served with chicken instead of tofu, and we didn't get cutlery until we asked, after everyone else had already had their food.

How well is it selling? About to open 3 branches. The owner is Thai. P' Aod and his family are cute and very kind. Big dishes. Customers come in all the time.

This is a nice, cozy Thai restaurant in Stuttgart. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and polite. The food was decent. However, I’m not an expert in evaluating Thai cuisine, so I can’t offer a detailed comparison. One thing to note is that they only accept cash payments, so be sure to carry enough cash with you before visiting.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Stuttgart. Aromatically fresh and not too expensive. If you want good Pad Thai or Fried Rice, you've come to the right place! Super nice service and relaxed atmosphere :)

The food is really delicious and everything is prepared quickly. However, I was averse to a young waitress (?). She spoke very loudly and expressed her opinion, which has nothing to do with the customers sitting in front and doesn't want to hear it. Please be a little more thoughtful about private topics and then everything will be great 😊

In my opinion the most authentic Thai in Stuttgart West

I usually order a lot of takeout here and the waitresses were very nice and friendly. But today my experience was very different with a very rude waitress. One should not shout and talk to a customer with a very bad attitude. This is also one of the few restaurants where you won't be able to pay with a credit card in 2025. Although I like the food here, I won't come here again.

The food is good but the restaurant is very small and the service is also very bad, the woman at the “reception” has no respect for each other in stressful situations. They feel overwhelmed and forget how to interact with other people. So I don't recommend it if you value the service

Really very tasty food. If you are in a hurry at lunchtime, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance, including the food. Little did we know, we waited over half an hour for food while many people who came after us got their food straight away.

I enjoyed the food very much. However, slightly spicy is really spicy. Still tastes really tasty. We didn't need a reservation. There was little going on. Cooking takes place in a kitchen that is, so to speak, open to the dining room. The smell of food then lingers in the clothing. I would eat there again and try out the menu.

WOW!! Ended up here by chance, a happy coincidence, a blessing in disguise I would say. The service was A1, very friendly, accommodating staff, the food was 10/10 in terms of taste and appearance. I was very positively surprised and found absolutely nothing to complain about or complain about. From the outside it looks very shabby. Not inviting at all. But you have to see this feeling again and still treat yourself to the space. We were there at lunchtime on summer vacation. The store was simply overcrowded shortly after we arrived. Many visitors had to wait or leave. That's why I'm even happier that we got a place. Finally, to top it all off, there was espresso on the house. WOW that something like this still exists today 💪🏼.

Very tasty authentic Thai cuisine. The red curry with duck was excellent. The portion of the curry is so large that a second portion of rice can be ordered with it. You sit outside on the street, which the restaurant can't do anything about, but eating next to trash cans isn't very inviting.

I have praised the food at this restaurant endlessly and recommended it to everyone I know, but recently I had a really bad experience where the cashier, who was incredibly rude, was dishonest when billing and, when confronted didn't get over his failure, but reacted aggressively. The politeness of the usual staff and the opposite of the man was absolutely shocking to me.

I think the food and staff are great. What struck me and my companion was the area in front of the restaurant that could be made nicer and cleaner to attract guests and see it as welcome. I think the interior area could also use a little renovation with cheerful colors to take the store to the next level.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Stuttgart. There is a bus stop right up the road. The food is always delicious and the service is friendly. The space itself is small, but everything is clean and it has a very nice atmosphere. Today my husband and I had H30 and H32 (both red Curries). SO good. I highly recommend.

actually one of the best pad thai I’ve eaten. portion is huge (I could only eat half) and the ingredients are generous. service is very friendly and food came quickly. The only thing is that the place is really small. There is only 7 tables. So it is really advised to reserve in advance or order for take away. and only cash is possible here.

I can't stand it when people try to tell me that I can only pay in cash! There is a sign on the door saying card payment is CURRENTLY not possible. I then wrote an email to the restaurant and kindly pointed out that 3 good eaters had decided to eat at a restaurant where you could pay by card. The cheeky answer came promptly! He'll stay on his feet and hope we enjoyed it as much as he did. what a way to treat a customer. Unfortunately, this behavior gives the impression that something is not going well. Does any of the sales go past the tax office? and I just received a message telling me not to bother him anymore 🤣🤣🤣 how cheeky!

My favorite Thai in Stuttgart! The Pad Thai in particular tastes great there. The service is also great: friendly and quick. The price is also completely reasonable for what you get. Even relatively cheap for Stuttgart standards. But you have to be a little careful about the level of spiciness you order. For Europeans, the spiciness of "spicy" is still bearable, but from "spicy" onwards it becomes critical. But all dishes are marked accordingly on the menu, so there are no unpleasant surprises!

Best Thai in Stuttgart! Fresh. Well seasoned. Cheap, large portions. Lots of vegetables. Significantly better, firmer, tastier meat than most. Nice personel. The only "drawback": Eating inside is such a thing, especially when the small room is full.. Open kitchen and lots of spices so you have something in your clothes for a long time xD (also burns your eyes a bit and irritates your breathing) well you can Don't have everything otherwise it would be too perfect ;)

Meine Nachbarn und ich haben hier immer gerne bestellt, da das Essen gut schmeckt und die Portionen relativ groß waren, sodass der Preis auch gerechtfertigt ist. Seit neuestem hat nun leider unser Lieblingsthai die Portionsgröße geändert, sodass deutlich weniger bei selbem Preis angeboten wird. Wir werden hier wahrscheinlich nicht nochmal bestellen. Schade.

Bester Thai in Stuttgart mit authentischem Essen und Ambiente.

Hole mir hier ab und zu Mittags etwas zu Essen. Preis- / Leistung ist richtig gut. Die Portionen sind echt groß! Aber: Manchmal muss man 45 Minuten warten. Das sagen sie dann direkt am Telefon und ich fragen, ob es okay ist. Folgende Gerichte hatte ich schon: M18 Mit Ente: War sehr lecker. Mal etwas sehr mildes vom Thailänder. Das war eine gelungene Abwechslung. Gemüse war sehr frisch und geschmeckt hat es mir auch. (Hab ohne Zwiebeln bestellt)

Ich habe selten so gut gegessen wie hier. Unglaublich leckeres Pad Thai - großen lob an die Küche. Auch die Servicekraft kann ich uneingeschränkt loben. So freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zufälligerweise auf das Restaurant gestoßen und kann es definitiv weiterempfehlen!! 10/10

Sehr gutes Essen, nicht der Standard-Asia-Einheitscurry. Familienunternehmen in dem die Tochter (sehr freundlich und gute Laune verbreiten) bedient, ein Ort an dem es uns Spaß macht zu essen und man gerne Geld lässt. Von außen unscheinbar ist es unser Geheimtipp und geschmacklich einer der besten Asiaten die ich kenne

A sweet little Thai restaurant with super guest focused owners... I felt really welcomed and the food was absolutely authentic.

Ich gehe hier sehr gerne essen. Meißtens bekommt man Abends einen Platz auch ohne Reservierung. In der Mango Zeit ist der Nachtisch Klebreis mit Mango sehr empfehlenswert. Die Kinder des Chefs spielen am Tisch abends des Öfteren mit ihrem Handy und unterstützen die Eltern bei der Arbeit. Die Portionen am Abend sind riesig, so dass wir meißtens ein Care-Paket für den nächsten Mittagstisch mit nachhause nehmen. Die Gastgeber sind alles in allem sehr freundliche Menschen die einen nicht ständig bedrängen ob es och etwas anderes sein soll. Besonders empfehlenswert sind als Vorspeise die selbstgemachten Frühlingsrollen Den Kaffee aufs Haus kann ich niemanden empfehlen, nehmt lieber den Schnaps...

Kürzlich im vorbeifahren entdeckt und heute mit unserem jüngsten Sohn ausprobiert. Wir waren kurz nach 19:00 dort. Haben zunächst draußen Platz genommen und durften schnell bestellen. Während wir auf unsere Getränke warteten, füllte sich das Restaurant. Wir sind dann nach drinnen „umgezogen“ und haben eine volle Stunde auf unsere Vorspeise gewartet, iIn der Zwischenzeit wurden zwei Tische komplett versorgt, die deutlich nach uns eingetroffen sind und später bestellt haben. Unsere Frühlingsrollen wurden ohne Besteck geliefert, die Suppe kam ( wie gesagt nach 60 Min.) statt mit Gemüse mit Garnelen und musste umgetauscht werden….dann hat mein Mann sich freundlich erkundigt, ob wir für den Hauptgang nochmal soviel Wartezeit einkalkulieren müssten…..und jetzt wurde es richtig blöd. Wir wären z.B. mit einem „oh sorry, da ist wohl was schiefgelaufen“ sofort besänftigt gewesen. Stattdessen wurden wir von der Tochter des Hauses belehrt, dass alles frisch gekocht würde und es eben seine Zeit braucht, bis das Essen fertig ist. Die Chefin hat dann noch relativ laut und für alle Gäste hörbar das Thema in der Belegschaft diskutiert. Super unangenehme! Die beiden Tische, die nach uns kamen hatten inzwischen bezahlt und waren weg. Wir sind wirklich keine komplizierten Gäste und waren eigentlich bemüht, das Beste aus der Situation zu machen. Leider ist uns das nicht gelungen. Sehr schade ist, dass das Essen wirklich extrem lecker war. Wir wären gerne öfter gekommen :-(.

Wir sind nur zufällig über den kleinen Laden in der Rotenwaldstr. gestolpert. Sehr Authentische Thai-Küche, mit immer frischen Zutaten. Auch während Corona holen wir gerne essen hier ab. Empfehlung: Pad Thai

Wir waren zu Dritt in diesem sehr kleinen Restaurant. Leider war es nicht möglich ohne Glutamat zu bestellen. Alle 3 vegetarischen Essen war sehr schlecht - ohne Geschmack mit etwas Sojasoße, das Gemüse zu hart....für 14,00 - 14,90 EUR pro Gericht. Außerdem mussten wir ständig husten, da die Lüftung völlig versagt und wir in einem Fettdunst der Küche saßen. Ich glaube die Empfehlung betraf das Restaurant daneben, das inzwischen geschlossen hat. Wir hätten uns auf unseren ersten Eindruck verlassen müssen. Schade.

Fantastisches Essen wie in Thailand. Wir haben mal wieder den ganzen Fisch Tilapia gegessen Nr. 73 mit Knoblauch Chilli Sauce. Toll abgeschmeckt, super zubereitet. Mit einem sehr herzlichen Service. Kleines süßes Restaurant mit wenig Sitzplätzen und daher sehr ruhig. Unbedingt reservieren, da schnell ausgebucht. Wir kommen wieder. Lieben Dank, Franziska
