Beautiful location, but unfortunately disappointing food – service very friendly We were looking forward to a cozy evening at the Haus of Thailand on Killesberg – unfortunately, our expectations were somewhat disappointed. The outdoor area is truly beautifully designed, but the first disappointment came with the papaya and carrot salad (€23): lots of decorations, but hardly any real salad. The portion was visually stretched by the iceberg lettuce – not convincing for the price. My partner was satisfied with her main course, but my roast duck with cashews (€30) was dry and seemed reheated. For this price, I had expected significantly higher quality. The owner acknowledged my feedback but responded with a curt "I'll pass it on." On the plus side, however, the lady's very friendly service – attentive and very polite – deserves special mention. We rewarded this with an appropriate tip. In the end, we were generously not charged for one bottle of water and one beer, but we didn't receive a proper bill, just the debit card receipt. Several signs in the dining room indicated that payment should be made in cash, which seems somewhat odd and unprofessional given the prices being charged. Unfortunately, we also had to contend with a few flies and ants at our table, which further spoiled the overall impression. Conclusion: Nice outdoor location with very friendly staff – but the value for money and the quality of the food were unfortunately not convincing (at least on this evening).

Food was good but service let us wait over 30min before we could even order sth. to drink. They were obviously understaffed. Would not recommend if you are short on time.

The foods r fresh and seasoned pretty well, menu is Germany version Thai-Food, but still recommended. Near to killersberg, great place for rest after long walk.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Authentic Thai – just like in Thailand itself We ate here for the second time during the BOSS Open – and were once again completely thrilled. There aren't many Thai restaurants in the region that serve truly authentic, original Thai food – this one is definitely one of them. The dishes taste just like in Thailand, with real spice, fresh ingredients, and great flavor. Plus, they're very good value for money. The beer garden is really nice and offers a relaxed atmosphere – the outdoor seating is great. It could perhaps be a bit nicer inside, but the focus here is clearly on the food – and that's simply fantastic. The service is friendly and attentive, even when it's busy. In conclusion: If you love Thai food, this is the place for you. Authentic, delicious, fair – absolutely recommended.

Food very good, but surprisingly small portions for an Asian. I found it a bit annoying: I asked if I could get fried rice instead of normal rice. It was probably said that it costs extra - but not that I was ordering an "additional" dish. I got the normal rice plus the fried one and therefore twice the amount of rice, which is completely nonsensical. And then I probably paid €9 more for it - we don't know for sure because there was only a final sum and no receipt. As I said: The food was very good, but in the end it was quite expensive at 57 euros for two rather small vegetarian dishes and 2 beers.

This was definitely not the last time I had dinner here! The service was amazing, the waitresses are super attentive, friendly, kind with a huge knowledge of the food/menu. The food was amazing as well, very tasty! They have something for everyone with different spice grades where everyone can enjoy a good dish! Make sure you reserve a spot!

Tablecloths are missing so that laundry can be saved but the prices have continued to rise! The restaurant doesn’t convey anything “upscale”… unfortunately not anymore!

The food was very, very tasty. You can't compare it with a normal Thai-Asian restaurant or snack bar. It's an upscale restaurant with super friendly service. The plates and glasses were also beautifully decorated. I think the upper area is nicer for sitting because you can see the chandeliers from top to bottom. There are also often special dishes there, and I was very satisfied. But otherwise it's all a matter of taste.

Surprising dishes, large menu and daily recommendations. The food was spicy, with very fresh ingredients and extremely delicious. Unfortunately we don't live nearby, we only became aware of it through the Google rating of 4.6, otherwise we would eat there more often. Service was overwhelmingly friendly, the ambience inside was very harmonious and cozy, the outside area was shady under large trees in the middle of the residential area.

We were there for lunch. Very great food with wonderful service. We paid €115 for food, drinks and dessert for the second time. The quality is very good, so it's worth it. The restaurant is recommended ☺️

Nice atmosphere outside under the trees and very nice service. Food tastes very good, but portions are a bit small. There are several leaves of ice cream lettuce under the glass noodle salad starter to make it look like more.

The atmosphere is unique. Very cozy and stylishly furnished. Very clean. The service couldn't be better and the location is excellent. My duck was very crispy and really tender. The vegetables and sauce were bombastic. We will be back!

We reserved a table and were assigned it after waiting 10 minutes. Afterwards we sat at the table for 40 minutes without even being able to place a drink order. Most of the other tables around us had not yet been served or had to wait a very long time for just the drinks. It was a Saturday evening and very crowded. I don't expect the food to be on the table in 10 minutes. But at least you can be served within 40 minutes and place your order.

Amazing food! Great cocktails and desserts. Note that if it says hot is its really hot (not german hot 😂) which is amazing 😍 we had blue margaritas, & seafood soup for appetizer, for the main course we had pad thai, green curry and for dessert the fried ice cream. A really recommendable restaurant for every Thai food fan - we have had excellent meals here several times. Anyone who has already delved deeply into the culinary side of Thailand will be thrilled by this restaurant. They are really very good, fine fresh ingredients at a good price. We have rarely experienced truly original Thai cuisine in Germany. There is a clear recommendation here. The HoT team is also very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice restaurant near Killesberg. Easily accessible on foot from the “Killesberg” stop. In summer there seems to be a cozy outdoor area. Not noticeable from the outside, only the Thai flag is prominent, but the inside is very clean and comfortably furnished. The food was exceptionally fresh and deliciously prepared. Even our children 5 and 1 were able to eat some of the Thai food and they really enjoyed it.

A nice restaurant with delicious food, friendly and attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. The soup (Thom Kha Gai) was great and the duck was good too. Next time I'll probably go with the Massaman Gai that my companion had - when I tried it I thought it was even better (and more special with potatoes) than the duck. The restaurant is in a residential area, we had no problem getting a parking space in front of the house on Mondays.

The food, in my case red Thai curry with duck, was exceptionally good. Requests for changes in the sauce were implemented and every bite was sensational! I can recommend the restaurant without reservation, we will definitely come back to eat again.

Interesting dishes, very quick service, nice to sit together for longer

The food is very authentic and delicious. We have rarely eaten so well in Thailand. The ambience inside is pleasant. The decoration on the plates was very loving, but in some cases there was more decoration on the plate than food. The dessert Mango Sticky Rice for €12.90 a tiny portion. Unfortunately, the prices are not really in proportion. And I found the fact that there was a note on every door expressly asking for cash payment to be very strange and exaggerated. Somehow a bad aftertaste remains, even though the food was very tasty.

Very tasty authentic upscale Thai cuisine with very nice staff in a pleasant atmosphere. The large garden is ideal in summer, and the cozy restaurant with fireplace (which you can also smell) is ideal in winter. All dishes there are absolutely recommended. The prices are a little higher. Update: We accepted the price increase in the summer of 23 with understanding - but now there are hidden costs of 3-4€ (in view of the already high prices) if you ask for some additional rice, as the actual portion is a bit small, annoyed us. It is actually common for rice to be served free of charge in Asian restaurants, especially given the already high prices. It is with a heavy heart that we will forego further visits.

Das Essen war gut, aber BEI WEITEM nicht gut genug, um die hohen Preise zu rechtfertigen. Ja, alles wird teurer, blabla. Aber: DREI Frühlingsrollen mit 5 cm länge und 2 cm Durchmesser und Gemüsefüllung für knapp 9€ zu verkaufen, ist nur noch dreist. Eine Große Portion Reis extra kostet 7,50€. Die Ente mit Gemüse und Reis kostete rund 26€ und hat verhältnismäßig wenig Fleisch und viel Fett/Haut. Bei hohen Preisen sollte der Service top sein, allerdings ist dieser auch eher annehmbar als gut.

Essen ist durchschnittlich - die Preise sind viel zu hoch für diese "Basic" Qualität! Besonders frech waren die drei Mini Frühlingsrollen für fast 9 €

Wir würden sehr freundlich empfangen! Der Außenbereich würde dann extra sauber gemacht und uns einen Tisch zur Verfügung gestellt weil wir nicht drinnen sitzen wollten. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und verkraftet den ein oder anderen Spass ;) Ein großes Lob ! An Küche und Service. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Portionen nicht all zu groß aber es hat gereicht. Preislich sind wir hier in einem anderen Level etwas teurer im Vergleich zur Portion aber das rechtfertigt der Service und die Küche. Werden auf jedenfall noch einmal vorbei schauen oder zweimal ;)

Das Essen war ganz o. k. - aber insgesamt zu teuer für die doch recht kleine Portion! Wir haben die Rechnung kontrolliert, was jedoch nur geht, wenn man einen Beleg einfordert, und es wurde falsch abgerechnet! Was uns gar nicht gefiel, waren die abwaschbaren Tischdecken !

Fantastisches Essen! Große Auswahl für Vegetarier und Veganer. Vor allem das Kokos-Curry war ausgezeichnet. Freundliches Personal und ein super schöner Außenbereich im thailändischen Stil. Hatten dort unser Hochzeitsessen. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Leider völlig over-rated. Größtes Problem ist meiner Meinung die Sauberkeit. Eine der Bedingungen hatte am Finger geblutet und trotzdem das Essen ohne Pflaster etc. serviert. Natürlich den blutenden Finger direkt auf dem Teller... Nicht gepflegter Außenbereich, dreckige polster und Tische, dreckiges Besteck. Jetzt kommt der Witz: Die Preise sind für das (schmutzige und nicht gepflegte) Ambiente sowie das Essen selbst komplett übertrieben. Das Essen ist durchschnittlich, aber 22€ für ein Reisgericht mit Gemüse? Bitte was?! Never ever again

Amazing Thai Restaurant hidden in the residential area

Sehr leckere Gerichte. Große Auswahl. Freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Schöne Einrichtung - Gute Lage.

Das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend was vieles wieder gut macht. Allerdings ist der Service sehr verbesserungswürdig. Die Getränke kommen nach dem Essen trotz mehrfachem freundlichen daraufhinweisen. Der Außenbereich ist leider sehr ungepflegt und dreckig. Dennoch werden wir aufgrund diesen unübertreffbaren Essens wieder kommen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, ausgesprochen nettes Personal und die Terasse im Sommer einfach klasse.

Toll, und hier heißt scharf auch wirklich scharf

Ich komme jedes Mal wieder gerne hier her, allein schon um die super schön angerichteten Speisen und Getränke anzuschauen. Was dort immer am Aufwand betrieben wird, um die Gerichte zu präsentieren, ist echt außergewöhnlich. Ich habe jetzt auch alle vegetarischen Speisen sowie die Cocktails durch und wurde nie enttäuscht. Aber Achtung: die Cocktails sind echt stark!! Die Bedienungen sind auch alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend, wenn es allerdings am Wochenende voll ist, muss man schon Mal etwas Zeit mitbringen...

Alles super, wir gehen schon seit Jahren dorthin. Das Essen ist unverändert super lecker und der Service aufmerksam und freundlich

House of Thailand, top thailändisches Restaurant. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig und für jeden was dabei. Die Speisen von hoher Qualität und sehr lecker 😋 Das Team ist sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich! Besuche gerne das Lokal wenn es mir nach Thailändische Küche ist !

Ich esse wahnsinnig gerne thailändisch und ich habe echt ewig nach einem authentischen Papayasalat gesucht! Hier bekommt man definitiv einen und auch die anderen Gerichte waren sehr lecker :)

Haben uns an die gegebenen Bewertungen orientiert und zum Abendessen hier her begeben. Ein guter Restaurant mit sehr tollem Service. Wir haben Ente, Tofu und Curry mit Rind bestellt und wahren begeistert vom Essen. Sehr schmackhaft und frisch. Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant wer gern Thailändische Küche mag. Die Preise sind wahrscheinlich für Menschen, die schnelles Food wollen etwas teuer, aber wir haben dies für die Leistung gerecht empfunden.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Zutaten frisch! Es ist schon das zweite Mal, dass ich hier her komme. Es war so viel, dass ich mir den Rest einpacken lassen habe. Zuhause habe ich dann gesehen, dass noch extra Reis nachgefüllt wurde. Mega gut!!!

Ich habe tatsächlich noch nie so gut asiatisch gegessen. Und das ist jetzt nicht übertrieben. Das Essen ist mit so viel Liebe angerichtet und vom Geschmack und den Zutaten her war alles perfekt und frisch. Der Service war sehr nett. Es gab nichts zu bemängeln! Wir kommen sicher mal wieder wenn wir in Stuttgart sind !

Im Vergleich zum letzten Besuch zu "vor Corona", hat anscheinend der Küchenchef gewechselt? Die Gerichte haben leider nicht mehr die hohe Qualität "von früher". Das Vorab-Süppchen schmeckte verdammt ähnlich einer fünf Minuten Terrine wie ich es noch aus meiner Studentenzeitung kenne. Die Hauptspeisen waren ebenfalls nichts besonderes, was vermutlich auch daran lag, dass diese nicht richtig warm, sondern nur lauwarm, serviert wurden. Die Menükarte ist weiterhin sehr umfangreich, weniger wäre aber auch hier, mehr. Positiv, das Personal war weiterhin sehr nett und angenehm freundlich.

Nachdem ein in der Nähe liegendes Restaurant trotz einer persönlich durchgeführten Buchung für Samstag, 02.04.2022, 19.30 h, bei unserem Erscheinen (12 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) keine Plätze zur Verfügung stellte, war ich gezwungen, für den genannten Kreis kurzfristig (Schneetreiben, Kälte usw.) möglichst in der Nähe einen Ersatz zu finden. Auf meinen Anruf im House of Thailand hin wurde mir dort nach einer kurzen internen Klärung ein Tisch für 12 Erwachsene nebst der Möglichkeit, ein Kleinkind und zwei Babies unterzubringen, zur Verfügung gestellt. Meine Frau und ich - bzgl. der Gruppe für die Organisation dieses Tages verantwortlich - können uns nur sehr bedanken, zumal das Essen wie immer (wir waren schon mehrfach Gäste des Hauses) im Rahmen einer großen Speisenauswahl hervorragend war; dies gilt ebenso für den Service.
