Kroatisches Restaurant "Adria Grillstube" in Leipzig

The service was rude to some guests, the meat was overcooked and therefore a bit tough. And finally, what were those fried potatoes? The slices were too thick and they'd barely been in the pan.

Somewhat hidden away, but a very nice little restaurant with a friendly owner and delicious Croatian cuisine. We always enjoy coming here.

We would prefer not to give any stars at all. We went there yesterday because the reviews were very promising. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment! The food was far too little for the price. Four croquettes, one tablespoon of rice, and meat from a discount supermarket? Totally tough! The potatoes and fish were swimming in grease and served unseasoned. The service was unfriendly. It's a real shame; we absolutely cannot understand the positive reviews. One positive point is the ambiance, which was cozy.

The best Croatian restaurant we've ever been to! Fantastic pljeskavica, fantastic fish! Everything seemed freshly prepared. The service was also very good. The ambiance is rather rustic, but we found it incredibly cozy. All in all, it was perfect! We'll be back!

Nice, rustic restaurant! I spontaneously visited this Croatian restaurant for the first time and immediately loved it. It was on a street where I wouldn't have expected a restaurant, but I managed to find a parking space and, of course, get a table. It was a Saturday evening, even without a reservation. The staff was friendly, it's clean, and the price (main course from €16) offers something for everyone. A glass of wine from €5.50 is more than reasonable. I had a salad for starters, and I immediately drew a comparison to a Greek restaurant. The menu was similar, but I find Croatian food a bit spicier. I enjoyed it and can recommend it!

My father and I ordered a grilled platter. Unfortunately, the lamb was probably spoiled. It didn't smell good, in fact, it was downright disgusting. Normally, food should smell good. The four people at the table agreed. When I asked the waitress about it, she came to our table, took the platter, and went behind us into the kitchen. A short while later, she came back... The chef said it was good. She was very rude afterward, grabbed the platter that had other meat on it, said, "You don't have to eat it," and disappeared. By the way, we waited 25 minutes for our drinks with two other tables occupied. I must also say, though, that the rest of the meal was delicious. But the waitress's behavior was unacceptable. Instead of €101, we "only" had to pay €100.

Good food, friendly service, cool drinks, wide selection

The price-performance ratio is excellent. The service is very friendly. The restaurant was quite busy later on, but it never felt rushed, and you always had the feeling that the server had everything under control. Great, thank you again!

Nach anderthalb Stunden wurde auf Nachfrage mitgeteilt, dass das Essen noch eine ganze Weile dauert. Etwa fünf Tische waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt belegt. Sämtliche negative Bewertungen auf Google werden gelöscht und mit kindischem Verhalten beantwortet. Sehr unprofessionelle Betreiber.

Atmosphere, dining room and service are okay. What was unsatisfactory in my opinion is the price-performance ratio. The taste is solid, but the portions would perhaps satisfy senior citizens. On the so-called grill plates there are three small cevapcici, a small minced steak, a mini meat skewer with three dry tiny pieces of meat and an ultra-thin, half-cooked slice of bacon. Plus a very manageable portion of French fries. The tzatziki (at least €3 as an extra side dish) is available in this quality at any discount store. It's been a very long time since I felt so hungry after visiting a restaurant. These mini portions do not fill a normal eating person. There were five of us and four of us simply couldn't get enough. Too bad. But we will not visit this restaurant again for these reasons.

We have enjoyed coming here again and again for many years. It is cozy and you are always welcomed warmly and friendly. The food is of excellent quality and we always like it very much. Today everything was perfect again and the decision to have lunch here on Easter Sunday was the right one. So why 5 stars? Because unfortunately nothing more is possible. We are already looking forward to the next time.

Nice, simply furnished restaurant that you can't even find when driving past. I ordered a mixed grill plate. The side salad was tasty and fresh. The main course was good but quite simple. The Ćevapčići and the minced steak were not particularly big. Tasty in taste. The service was nice and friendly.

Despite reservations, we didn't feel welcome from the first minute. The “waitress” was consistently annoyed, inattentive and unfriendly. My food was very carelessly prepared, no garnish or anything like that. This is also how we cook when camping. The price for the small portion was impressive at 18.90 euros. It's a shame, I was misled by the good reviews. It was my first and last visit to the “Adria”

It is very hidden and since everything was very dark, we initially thought that it was closed. The lady from service was very friendly. The schnitzel was great as was the tzatziki. I was looking forward to the grilled calamari with mang gold potatoes and my husband was looking forward to the grilled plate. We were both very disappointed at first sight. The chard potatoes were the salvation. The calamari was small baby calamari and they didn't see a grill either. These were probably from the pan, but without any roasted aromas. If, like me, you really like calamari, you will be absolutely disappointed. Very unfortunate. The grill plate was very manageable and the meat absolutely lacked the grill aroma. It was like it was straight out of the pan and relatively little. We won't go there again as you can eat much better good meat and seafood elsewhere in Leipzig.

Die Dame vom Service war freundlich. Es war schwer zu finden und da es ziemlich dunkel war , dachten wir es sei geschlossen. Das Schnitzel war sehr groß und gut. Aber der Grillteller und der Calamari waren nicht gut. Das Fleisch und die Babycalamri hatten null Röstaromen. Wie aus der Pfanne und nicht vom Grill. Die Mangoldkartoffeln waren sehr schmackhaft. Es wird bei den Beilagen leider mit sehr viel gekaufter Tk Ware gearbeitet, statt sie selbst herzustellen. Dies schmeckt man leider. Das es Babycalamari waren stand nicht auf der Karte., dann hätte ich es nicht bestellt. Mein Mann war von dem Grillteller auch nicht satt , was wir von Grilltellern nicht kennen. Ja wir hätten am Tisch was sagen können, aber dann wäre unsere Stimmung dahin . Wir haben das Restaurant probiert und für nicht lohnenswert empfunden. Wenn es voll ist , dann wird die Wartezeit mit einer Servicekraft garantiert ewig sein.

My husband and I spontaneously went to Leipzig and wanted to have dinner there. We chose this restaurant and we were very satisfied. The food was delicious and the service was very nice. I'm not a big fan of meat but that evening we even ordered another plate 😂 because it was so good. We would be happy to come back.

We have been regular guests at this restaurant for several years and I can't understand some of the reviews here. In my opinion, everything here is very lovingly furnished, the boss goes out of her way and offers impeccable service, always with a smile on her face. The food is prepared personally by the boss and there have never been any complaints. We will definitely remain loyal guests and hope that some reviews don't take away from the fun of the whole thing.

Leider gibt es nicht viele kroatische Restaurants in Leipzig. So muss man weit In den Osten der Stadt fahren, um etwas versteckt in einer Seitenstraße diese Gaststätte zu finden. Ist man aber erstmal da kann man es sich schmecken lassen. Die Preise sind etwas hoch, aber unterm Strich passt es.

Die Summe der sogenannten Kleinigkeiten machen die Sache rund. Freundlich, aufmerksam, warmes Essen, scharfe Messer und dann auch noch ein sehr gutes Peis-Leistungsverhältnis! Wir kommen wieder?

Nettes Personal, freundlich usw. Cevapcici ohne Reis nur mit Pommes bestellt. An den Tisch gebracht wurde es mit Pommes und Reis. Habe es angesprochen. Kein Problem, man bringt uns noch Pommes. Gesagt, gebracht. Prima. Das Essen selber war gut und lecker. Allerdings sind wir nicht so richtig satt geworden. Die jeweils 4 Sterne gibt es, weil in allen Bereichen noch Luft nach oben ist. Alles in allem: Dort kann man bedenkenlos essen gehen.

Wir waren zu Besuch in Leipzig und wollten spontan kroatisch essen gehen. Gesagt getan und Google gefragt. Nach ca.15 min fahrt mit etwas komischer Routen Führung von Google kamen wir dann in einer Art Garten Anlage an. Ambiente fand ich irgendwie unspektakuläre und nicht ansprechend für mich. Das Bier vom Fass in einer Gegend so abseits und versteckt mit 5euro der halbe Liter fand ich etwas hoch. Die essen waren preislich normal angesetzt, aber für mich etwas zu klein und nicht zum satt werden. Geschmacklich war es aber nicht mit dem woww Effekt wo ich sage hier muss ich nochmals her.

Wir hatten reserviert und wurden gleich freundlich gefragt ob es auch ein wenig früher geht da sie schon soviele Tische um die selbe Uhrzeit hat. Somit war der Service und die Küche die Möglichkeit gegeben ein wenig besser zu Zeitlich flexibel zu sein. Essen war gut und ausreichend. Bedienung war freundlich.

Von der Straßenbahn ca.10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Restaurant.

Schönes Ambiente - aber 1. Bestellung ging verloren !?!? Wurde erst nach einer dreiviertel Stunde bemerkt ! Als das Essen nach rund 1 Stunde serviert wurde, waren die Fleischspieße komplett versalzen ! Die Bedienung war auch nicht besonders freundlich. Zusammenfassend: eine große Enttäuschung

Ich habe schon einigen Freunden und Bekannten empfohlen hier essen zu gehen und war selbst mit den verschiedensten Bekannten hier. Wurde zu meinem 50. Geburtstag von meiner Familie hier überrascht. Das Essen ist immer Spitze. Die Bedienung immer nett und freundlich. Am Wochenende empfehle ich zu reservieren. Letztens waren wir das erste Mal zum Mittagessen und konnten sehr gemütlich draußen sitzen. Kommt in den Leipziger Osten.

Sind seit über 20 Jahren hier zu Gast und kommen immer wieder gern zum Essen her. Kann man nur weiter empfehlen. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Wir sind eigentlich immer gern hier her gekommen. (vor Corona) Jetzt aber .... Sehr unaufmerksame, vorlaute und unfreundliche Bedienung. Sehr schlechte, lieblose Küche mit pappigen Pommes und vollständig durchgegrilltem, zähem Lamm.
