Very good food, on a sunny and warm Friday on German Unity Day. There's a playroom for families with children; our child had a great time. Thank you.

We've been guests at Krabbes several times and have left full and satisfied each time. The service is prompt and always friendly, and the wait for the food is bridged with a delicious welcome from the kitchen. The salads, curries, schnitzels, and burgers all shine with their freshness and lack of frozen, mass-produced ingredients. The garden/courtyard has a beautiful ambiance, but the interior is also very cozy and inviting.

Quaint restaurant, very tasty food and very friendly service

A great restaurant with a lovely ambiance, very lovingly decorated, and the food was always good whenever I was there. Unfortunately, the seating is terribly uncomfortable and doesn't invite you to linger. My mother doesn't go there anymore because she can't sit on the chairs and wooden benches. It's a shame. Hence, one star deducted.

We were surprised by the moderate prices on the weekly specials menu, so we stopped by the restaurant to eat. The atmosphere inside was inviting, and the two waitresses were extremely attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food, and if we're ever in Neustadt again, we'll go back.

Super nice restaurant. Beautiful, partially covered outdoor area. Cozy interior. Especially great for families with (young) children! In the small family room, the kids can choose from a variety of different toys, books, and games to keep them occupied while the parents stay nearby and enjoy the excellent food. The salad bowls and burgers (all of them! Especially the fish burger) are really very good! But the rest of the menu is also easy to read and tastes great! The service was always friendly, unobtrusive, and on the ball! A definite recommendation!

The maritime-style ambiance both indoors and outdoors is harmonious, the food is excellently and attractively prepared, and the service staff is very attentive and friendly. We would be happy to return.

A super cozy atmosphere, very friendly and flexible service, and delicious, perfectly prepared food. In a prime location by Neustadt Harbor, we were able to fully enjoy a beautiful, sunny late summer evening. Thank you very much!

A restaurant where eating out with children is a pleasure. There's a playroom with set tables, so the kids can have fun and other guests hardly notice their play. The service was excellent! Great coffee, great cake. Next time for dinner, judging by the food's quality and the other guests' enthusiasm. In my opinion, a hidden gem with children (ours are 1.5 and 3.5 years old). The restrooms are super clean for children and there's even a changing table in the men's area!

We stopped by this restaurant while passing through and were very satisfied. The prices are rather high, but reasonably affordable for lunch. The food was very tasty, and the wait time was within normal limits. The restaurant is also very well-equipped for children, which makes life easier when dining with children. We would go back.

Everything was delicious. But a baked potato that's barely visible on a plate with a tablespoon full of shrimp for €26 is pretty borderline.

The Krabbe – A Lucky Find in Neustadt in Holstein For many years, we have regularly spent our holidays in the Bay of Lübeck. The restaurant, which always looked very inviting from the outside, often caught our eye – and yet we only arrived there by chance (and much too late). Inside, you'll find a hyggelig interior that immediately exudes coziness and invites you to linger. This feeling is perfectly conveyed by the staff: 100% friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests have a truly wonderful time. A major plus is the family area, where children are not only welcome but also find a variety of lovingly selected toys that invite them to explore. And, of course, most importantly: the food. Top quality, lovingly prepared, and so far, everything has tasted fantastic. The only difficulty is deciding what to order. Insider tip: The homemade lemonades – definitely try them all! Refreshing, creative, and super delicious. 5 stars – and we wholeheartedly give The Crab that.

We wanted to eat some really good fish in the Bay of Lübeck. We stopped here and shared the crab soup as a starter. It was absolutely delicious! For the main course, we chose Baltic plaice. It came with fried potatoes and a delicious salad. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend it!

I haven't been to such a great restaurant in a long time. A gorgeous ambiance, decorated with attention to detail, excellent service, and the food was a dream. 🫶🏼 I also have to commend the fact that the littlest guests are also given such a wonderful welcome here. A cozy and well-equipped room awaits them for playing and eating, bridging the waiting time and making their visit to Krabbes a little highlight 💙.

We chose the lunch menu, which was only shown to us after we specifically asked. The service was prompt, but from the moment we asked for the lunch menu, it became a bit frosty. The dishes were okay, but nothing more. Of course, it's all a matter of personal taste, but when the fried potatoes are swimming in grease, that's not really our cup of tea. We originally wanted to have dessert, but unfortunately, no one came to our table to collect our plates or ask if we wanted anything else. After a while, we made ourselves known and asked for the bill. The restaurant was sparsely populated.

On my fourth vacation in Neustadt, I finally visited Krabbes. The main road always kept me away. But I have to say, the seating inside and on the outdoor terrace is very nice. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and competent. Highly recommended for Neustadt.

The food was great. There was one small thing that was less good and that was that the water was not cold enough. But 5 stars anyway.

We went there and ask for a table, after the waiter find us a table, we waited there for 20 minutes straight but no one came to take our orders, no one came to at least ask if we needed something or if everything was ok. After the loooong wait we simply left the place was the first time we went there for sure after this experience we won’t go there anymore. Honestly I don’t know why they treat us like this… it was simply not ok.

Although located directly on Neustadt's main thoroughfare, it's very cozy and pleasant to sit in – even in the outdoor area covered with sails. Excellent food and very friendly service. There are a few parking spaces at the rear of the building. Tourists can even purchase small but delicious souvenirs.

We were there for a short business lunch during the week and tried the lunch menu. They included salmon and asparagus. The food was delicious, and everything that came out of the kitchen looked very appetizing. The view of Neustadt Harbor is, of course, phenomenal. The lunch menu was good value for money. Service was friendly and attentive. We didn't need to make a reservation. The restaurant was busy, and there's parking in the courtyard. We'd be happy to go again.

We visited the restaurant with two small children and thought it was a great success. Inside, there's a family room with three tables and tons of toys. While you wait for your food or the kids can't sit down anymore, you can let off steam there. The garden and outdoor seating are also very well-designed in terms of space, ambiance, and decor. The entire restaurant is decorated in an authentic North German style. The fish dishes are also very traditional and prepared to perfection. Special requests were easily accommodated. The only downside was the fried potatoes, which were too greasy for our taste.

Krabbe's Restaurant was a wonderful surprise for us during our visit to Neustadt. The service was friendly, courteous, and prompt. The food was delicious. The portions were filling. There's also a lovely outdoor area that's perfect for sitting outside in good weather. Also worth mentioning is a special play area for children and a changing table in both restrooms. We'd love to come back!

Due to the weather, we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside. The great ambiance was perfect for that. The food (burgers, herring) was delicious. The portions were generous, and the service was very friendly. The food and drinks are a bit pricey, but we knew that beforehand. We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding in a small circle at Krabbes in January and both we and our guests continue to rave about the ambience, the food and the punch reception. It was super pleasant and easy to discuss everything with Ms. Krabbe in advance. The decoration and service were great and the food was served at the same time even though we ordered a la carte. The food was great, the only criticism is that the soup was too big, so many people didn't finish the delicious main courses because it was too filling. The service was very attentive and provided the guests with drinks throughout the evening and night! We had a great wedding and can only warmly recommend Krabbes and look forward to stopping at Krabbes when we get back home!

Today lunch at the crab. Beach chair, outside. Currywurst/French fries with drinks. Perfect! Fresh salad, homemade curry sauce, slightly spicy, crispy fries. Restaurant well maintained, staff is people and dog friendly. We would love to go there again!!

We always enjoy coming here! Middle-class German menu, without a musty inn feeling! The dishes are as modern-Nordic as the ambience, in the afternoon there are home-baked cakes or waffles, the service is very quick and simply nice. To feel good! The bonus is of course the location with a view of the harbor...

Very comfortably furnished and quiet outdoor area despite being located directly on the main street with a view of the harbor. We enjoyed the cheeseburger and the baked potato. The drinks were well chilled. The service employee still knows what service means and looked after us well. My conclusion: A visit is worth it!!

Perfect for families with good taste! We went to Krabbes with a 2 year old and a baby. We have rarely been able to eat in a restaurant as relaxed as we did there. The family corner with lots of toys is an absolute salvation for people with young children. Thank you for the courteous service and the wonderful food. Absolute recommendation! A pleasant atmosphere, very stylishly furnished and very nice staff. But most importantly, the food is super delicious! The best salmon I've ever eaten, tender like butter on the inside and crispy on the outside. The burgers are also highly recommended as is the tea. Our little furry friend was also very welcome! We will definitely come back on our next vacation!

Taste so-so We were really looking forward to this evening in the restaurant. Because when we made a reservation there, we realized what a beautiful restaurant it is both inside and outside. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. However, since this is a page where the restaurant, including the taste, has to be rated, I unfortunately have to say I give five points for the ambience but unfortunately only three points for the taste. I ate a whole plaice, which unfortunately was relatively tasteless in the sense of far too little spice and too few roasted flavors. As in most local places, the plaice cost 27.50 and of course you want to have a top meal for that. The portion size was absolutely sufficient but it could have tasted better. But everyone else at the table was very happy when they ate their baked potato with salmon or North Sea shrimp. If I wanted to spend a nice evening here and maybe just eat something different, I would go here again, hence the four points Discover Seek Plan Evaluate Account

My favorite restaurant in Neustadt. Every time I visit my grandma we eat there. The food is incredibly tasty, the service is super nice and the atmosphere is wonderful. I order the Hamburger Panfish every time and the Mousse au Chocolat for dessert! Just a 10/10!

Food is good, homemade soda is delicious, but I personally find 1 euro each for a small bowl of ketchup and mayo with burgers and fries, which cost from 20 euros, unreasonable.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist leider ein wenig in die falsche Richtung gekippt. Das Essen ist solide, aber dem verlangten Preis nicht so ganz angemessen. Und für eine Portion Ketchup noch extra Geld zu verlangen ist eine Frechheit. Für einen winzigen Schluck Ketchup zahlt man 0,50€ zusätzlich. Parkplätze sind eine handvoll hinter dem Haus. Ganz praktisch in der Lage.

Sehr freundlich, lecker und in gutem Preis-/Leistungverhältnis. Quasi eine Oase des Nordens an kalten und feuchten Wintertagen.

Wir waren im Sommer das erst Mal dort, und waren zufrieden. Nun sind sind die Speisen nochmal teurer geworden. Ketchup und Mayo in einer Mikroschale wurden mit jeweis 1 ,-€ auch noch extra berechnet. Dazu waren die Pommes zu lange fritiert und es waren viele "Resttücke" dabei. Das Burgerbrot wurde leider auch zu lange getoastet und hatte teilweise verkohlte Ränder. Für 24,-€ hätte ich wesentlich bessere Qualität erwartet.
