Köz Adana Farmsen in Hamburg

After a long day in Hamburg, we stopped by here. It was already 9:30 p.m. and we received a warm welcome. The people who work here are super nice. They even helped me charge my phone because I'd forgotten my power bank. The food was also great. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The price/performance ratio isn't right. Dry rice and tasteless sauces. The doner meat was okay. Paying almost €17 for a doner kebab like that at a snack bar is a stretch.

We were in Hamburg for over a weekend and came here at half past nine on a Saturday evening, on the recommendation of a lady we spoke to on the subway. We'd been on our feet all day, exhausted, and with blisters on our feet. And dead cell phone batteries. We received a truly warm welcome, and all our minor battery issues and so on were resolved in a friendly and helpful manner. Then, before dinner, we received a welcome from the kitchen. I'm impressed by the service alone and will definitely keep this place in mind for a future trip to Hamburg.

I ordered a Dürüm and found it delicious :) The staff were friendly, and the restaurant area was pleasant, which I told them. The only downside: for the price, the Dürüm seemed a bit small.

We were a group of about 15 people (football team) and wanted to eat at your place. However, we were refused service on the grounds that other customers hadn't paid. We were then thrown out of the kebab shop. Apparently, the non-paying customers were Black. #racists😤

I ate here with my family today. We were absolutely thrilled with the service for the kids. The fries and nuggets were served lukewarm, which is, of course, more than perfect for the kids 😊 The waiter, Mr. Volkan, was very nice.

The food was once again delicious, and the waiter, Volkan, reminded me of the hospitality I experienced at a local restaurant on vacation. I haven't had such friendly service in a long time.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined considerably. Fries are undercooked; they're either swimming in sauce or there's hardly any in them. You're lucky if you get what you actually ordered. There's always something wrong with every order, even at the restaurant. Unfortunately, I no longer recommend it.

I can say that we are really comfortable as if we were at home whenever we come here, the staff is very clear and friendly.

We come here regularly and are always very satisfied. The team is always extremely friendly, patient, and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. Even special requests are handled promptly and helpfully.

I know of similar restaurants in Hamburg and am deeply disappointed. I was expecting a Turkish breakfast and got pre-packaged potion stuff from the Metro. Nobody here seems to have heard anything about avoiding unnecessary packaging waste. Even the tea and bread had something to do with Adana. Plain yogurt, tasteless cheese, oily scrambled eggs... just to name the worst lowlights. Too bad, I won't be back.

We ordered two kebabs, each for €7.90, with two small black teas. It cost €19.60, even though small teas are free everywhere after meals... We'll never go back...

We've gotten a kebab here a few times and eaten Iskender in the restaurant. The staff there have always been quite rude. They try to make it look a little more upscale, which, to be honest, doesn't suit Farmsen and the surrounding area. The food is okay, but we'd rather go elsewhere. Deliveries from there take forever, too.

What a disgrace! We sat there for over 30 minutes before being served. In the end, the food was served cold. The food was tasty, but the portions were too small, especially considering the prices. The bill ended up adding extras like ketchup for €1, and even a tiny(!!!) amount of meat for the youngest child to taste cost €3. What a disgrace. Never, never, ever again from this place. I hope the owner reads reviews and lets his staff learn...

Every time I go there, the whole place is smoking from the charcoal grill and you sit in the middle of the smoke.

Very unfriendly and expensive. A small Coke costs €4.20. The Adana Kebab is completely fatty, with maybe 2% meat left over. Never eat at Köz Adana Farmsen again. Across the street is a very friendly Chinese restaurant with good food.

We often eat there or like to take something with us because it's on our way. Initially, we were satisfied with the food. They have a really nice ambiance, and everything seems hygienic. Unfortunately, they've been putting less and less vegetables into their kebabs for some time now. This makes them look unloving and dry. Today, for example, I only had a bit of cabbage and two pieces of tomato in the whole kebab besides the meat. That's sad. We've never particularly liked the staff. We know Turks as warm, friendly people. The staff here are an exception. They seem exceptionally arrogant, especially the waiter – he looks and speaks as if he's above us and we don't deserve any attention.

I rarely give reviews, but when I do, it's when things are either very good or very bad. This time, unfortunately, because of a bad/disappointing experience. Let's get into the details. Today I invited my son and my mother to dinner there because it's my birthday. The service was, how should I say, arrogant, disinterested and unfriendly. We ordered two Adanas, two Ayrans, one Lahmacun and an apple spritzer. Of course, we weren't asked whether Ayran was large or small, and we were simply served large Ayran. My mother and I both had rumbling stomachs in the shop and later we both got severe stomach problems. As my son didn't eat any of the meze, we suspect that was the reason. On the Adana plate, you could count how many grains of rice were on it, there was so little on it. If you treat your customers like that and think you don't need them, they should just leave their money and go, then that is really poor to inadequate. Thumbs down!

There's plenty of room for improvement! The advertised "Jumbo Döner" is unfortunately not a jumbo at all, but rather a regular kebab. It's a shame, since it's also more expensive than a regular kebab. Perhaps they should rethink the concept. "Anyone who orders a jumbo is usually very hungry" 😉 It's very annoying when you have to leave the store hungry despite getting a jumbo... My suggestion as a good customer of yours: Feel free to make the jumbo €1-2 more expensive, but feel free to handle it accordingly. In other words: "Bigger bread, more meat, and also more salad and sauces"! Otherwise, disappointment isn't far off, and I see an urgent need for action, especially with the competition around the corner 💪🏼

I ordered a simple mixed doner kebab, which was supposed to be spicy. It was prepared quickly, but there was a lot of chicken, not much veal, barely any sauce, and certainly not spicy. Plus, the meat wasn't cooked through and had a slight aftertaste. No thanks, never again.

Guys, I really like you. So I have to issue a little warning: As beautiful as the outdoor area at the back of the house looks, the floor is a problem: It's a tripping hazard. You might want to spend some money and have a completely level screed poured. As an old grandmother with a cane, I'm sensitive to such hazards. I didn't notice the unevenness because a green felt carpet was stapled over it. It would be a shame if someone fell there and you had to deal with it and pay for it later. And what else? Very friendly service, the food was okay, a very large Turkish pizza (lahmacun), which looked unusual because it had a lot of grated carrot on it, and it tasted very good! And special requests are also fulfilled, e.g., hot water instead of tea (otherwise, Grandma wouldn't sleep).

Very disappointing and dangerous to your health! Yesterday I ordered four kebabs (doner bag) and one at Dürüm - all expressly without tomatoes because we have a tomato allergy. Unfortunately, tomato was still found in one of the kebabs, which was only noticed after a few bites. This caused an allergic shock and we had to go to the hospital. An extremely dangerous negligence! In addition, the meat was burnt on the outside and still raw on the inside - the cooking process was obviously shortened due to time pressure. The kebab in Dürüm was also disappointing: the dough was undercooked and hardly edible. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take photos because we had to immediately deal with the health consequences. Although I was a regular customer, I definitely won't be coming back after this experience. Dealing with food like this is absolutely irresponsible.

We were there 2 times. Both times very bad the portion very small for 20 euros 1 grill dish the meat 120 grams and kebab normal but portion for small children. So you won't get full there. 2 young waiter guys only serve the beautiful girls there for the purpose of flirting but are very rude to other guests. No matter what you ask, they won't give you that. Ie. You're ugly and you won't be served. Awesome motto. Never again !

I had a soup there today, it was one of the worst soups I've ever had in my life. I'm still suffering from stomach ache and nausea. It tasted very bad. As for the waiters, they are very rude and ignorant. I definitely don't recommend it to anyone and I will never come here again. This was my first and last experience. The taste of the food is very bad. I'm writing a short note under this note. A dog wouldn't drink that soup. Shame on you. What can a cola cost? It's 4.50 Euros. It's fraud. There's a lot to say.

I found a hair when I ordered for the first time. I called and a new kebab was delivered to me, but there was also a hair in the kebab. Very disgusting. It can happen the first time, but you should pay attention to it the second time. I got a sore throat

I really wish I hadn't come to this place. I have never seen such a cavalier waiter and I told him it was lahmacun. They wouldn't serve this lahmacun even in a normal distillery.

We were there for the third time now and unfortunately nothing has changed. First the positive: The waiters are very nice. The atmosphere is quite nice and plates etc. were clean. Unfortunately everything tastes extremely bland, the meat is cold and somehow limp or tough. The bread that was given beforehand was also cold and didn't taste like anything. The salad tasted like it was 2 days old. We paid almost €50 for a kebab plate, adanakebab and two drinks and what you get for it is just disappointing.

We waited 40 minutes just for someone to come and take our order. We only ordered a tea and a baklava. First, they brought the tea, which was completely cold, and 20 minutes later the baklava arrived – it was clearly old and had a bad smell. In the end, they even overcharged us by 2 euros.

Food is great. The speed of operation could be improved somewhat. A little more cleanliness would bring even more stars. ;)

Köz Adana in Wandsbek is much better. I had some on the kebab plate. Pieces of meat that were still pink or raw are a no go. In addition, the food was not hot but warm at most, except for the fries, which were hot. My wife was also disappointed. We won't be coming back again.

A Turkish colleague and an African were with me in this restaurant. Music was great, very oriental, this flute sounded good. The waiter always looked a bit annoyed but that's not a bad thing, everyone has a bad day at work. But he ALWAYS REMEMBERED the order very well when he wrote it, it was REALLY GOOD 👍🏻 thank you for this good meal, pide with hanschen is huge in taste

We didn't have high expectations based on the reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The salad beforehand could be improved, but everything else was delicious. You get bread, ezme and cacik free of charge. The grill plate was very good and my mother also liked her food (similar to iskender). It was clean and the service was friendly. We'd love to come back

I had a Kuzu Sis Dürüm… never eaten anything so delicious in my life. A Dürüm but 1000 times better than you normally know it with a tasty sauce and super tasty grilled lamb skewer. Definitely a recommendation.

I have bought kebabs from at least forty kebab shops, and out of those forty shops, only four offered clean, tasty and high quality food. The rest were just rubbish sellers – and your shop is one of them. Cold and doughy bread, raw meat, tasteless sauces... In my opinion, you should close up shop and find another job. Don't deceive people - they won't give you the money halal!

Employees are not polite. Even though they put the wrong sauce, they treated me as if I had said it wrong. The dessert (künefe) had nothing to do with what was shown in the image.

The kebab here tastes the way you would like to get it anywhere. Real flatbread in corners, crispy fresh salad, delicious sauces and mega delicious meat (chicken/veal and falafel). That stays in our minds and we would love to come back.

I've never eaten such a bad kebab before, the meat is used several times, e.g. frozen and fried again for several days. The sauces are so disgusting that the authorities should definitely take a look and check the edges of the sauce containers. Everything is touched with hands without protection or anything similar. I won't drag it out, I definitely can't recommend the store.

Unfortunately, I've always liked this kebab, but you suck. I took a jumbo kebab, I got a regular one, practical without meat. The cake was covered with flour and no coal was placed on the grill. And the young Turkish friend didn't look at what he was doing at all. Fuck

Unfriendly waiters, long waiting time :35 minutes for a burger that was super dry, and the waiter looked at me with hate than later on added his tip without asking my permission … i don’t recommend this place
