Kouzina Greekstreetfood & Wine in Köln

It was a spontaneous decision to eat there, and it was the best decision ever. I spent the weekend in Cologne for a trade fair. Of course, I wanted to enjoy a delicious meal. I discovered Kouzina and went there with my girlfriends. We received such a warm welcome. The service was fantastic—attentive but not intrusive, always friendly, warm, and smiling. The food was incredibly delicious, and the dessert was divine. This entire evening will remain a cherished memory. And I will definitely eat there again on my next visit to Cologne. It's absolutely worth it!!! I can only say thank you for a wonderful evening!

I had the cabbage rolls for lunch and they were absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is lovely, and the Greek music was pleasant. All in all, a really great place 😊

When we were passing by we wanted to try. The food was good but cannot say same thing for the atmosphere and people serving. It was not so welcoming place first of all. The table was very uncomfortable, the shape of the legs of the table hurts your legs and you cannot sit properly, looks like designed for to make you stay shorter. The place is loud, everything was made of hard material, nothing to absorb the noise, and all the noise of kitchen is heard, just wanted to finish our food and leave, did not want to stay for a desert.

I just dropped in, but it was definitely a place I'd come back to again.

I would appreciate If you would stop deceiving people with fake prices! Not to mention your service is very bad! For take away you don't even give a single napkin..not to mention cutlery! In shop you have displayed a price.. if you wanna order online is a diffrent price..and in reality is actually a different price! Don't worry my first and last order! I thought the food itself was okay. My companion even thought it was below average for a Greek restaurant. But for what was only okay, I thought it was too expensive. Perhaps the chef was just having a bad day. The service (in the person of Raffa), on the other hand, was truly outstanding. Despite the massive pressure, he was always pleasant, courteous, and friendly.

Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I had booked the restaurant for my birthday with 15 people. Two days in advance, I went there in person to confirm the reservation and also left my phone number. On the day of the party, however, we found the doors locked. The restaurant closed without notice—no phone call or notice on the door. This meant we had to find an alternative for all our guests at the last minute. That's a real shame, because such behavior comes across as unprofessional and unreliable. It should have been a lovely evening, but unfortunately, the lack of communication completely ruined it. Based on this experience, I cannot and will not recommend the restaurant.

We had a really good meal there. The food was very attractively presented and tasted excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Due to the location, the price was certainly a bit more expensive than a classic Greek restaurant, but it was very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

I ordered on Wolt and the food wasn't very good, the Gyros was cut very very small, couldn't eat it with a fork. I specifically asked for no mustard due to allergie reasons but the food came with mustard. Fries were over salted but the loukoumades were good. I will give the restaurant another chance and go there in person, maybe it's different.

As for lunch, it’s a nice place. The food was good, and the service was friendly as well.

The service seems to be unwilling to retain customers. One waiter in particular was very rude, while the others were rather friendly. One kept the others waiting and preferred to have private conversations. Praise to the chef, the food was very delicious.

The food was very tasty, although the chicken gyro could have been a bit juicier. Unfortunately, we missed the sign saying "You're being seated." The waitress, the slightly irritated staff member, complained about it to guests who were also apparently from the restaurant industry. As well as other unfriendly remarks. How unacceptable these guests are, who just sit down without being asked. It's a shame, we would have liked to have dessert and a drink with you. Beautiful restaurant, very friendly service. The gyro meat was fresh and tasty, the fries were just as good, and the tzatziki was also delicious. But the salad portion on the plate was clearly oversized. As good as a basil salad goes with the gyro, it was too much. If I were the chef, I'd make the salad a little smaller and, if they think a larger portion of meat is too cost-effective, add an additional side dish to delight customers with even more variety. It would certainly be well-received. Overall, though, I'd happily dine here again!

Welcoming, polite and quality food suggestions.

Waiters were arguing loudly next to our table and threatening to hit each other. The food was good, but the argument overshadowed our entire visit.

The food would get 5 stars, but we definitely won't be back. The way the waiters treat us is the lowest of the low... The staff are loudly criticized and, in our opinion, completely unfairly put down by the manager. Very unpleasant and incredibly detrimental to the atmosphere. It's a shame, because the place itself makes a great impression. But this kind of behavior is completely foreign to us.

The food is good. Service is mixed. The women's restroom is a complete disaster. Aside from the poor cleanliness, the sliding door doesn't lock. According to the staff, "It's never been possible to lock it." A no-go for me.

100% recommendation. We were there for dinner today for my husband's birthday. Very attentive service, fantastic food, and a great atmosphere. The Taramas was particularly special. We'd love to come back.

Catastrophic experience. The service was perhaps the worst I've ever experienced. The food was good from what we tasted (just a starter), but after 2.5 hours we decided to leave because the main course still hadn't arrived. I'm omitting the details because they would be hard to believe. Paying for "that" was morally absurd. We then went out to eat a kebab, and it was a good decision... I guess it just wasn't their day!

The food was mediocre at best. The meat was very spicy, and the meat seemed very cheap. When we paid, we were surprised by the higher price. When we asked for the receipt, we got €3 back ("Because the colleague distracted him while paying") and saw on the receipt that they were still overcharged. For example, the souvlaki was listed as €19.90 on the menu, but the receipt was €21.90. We wouldn't go there again.

Terrible!!!! I went with 10 people and they charged us 200 euros when the total bill was 133. We realized after asking for the ticket for company expenses. They pretended they could not charge us the money back on the card!!!! Then gave us 50 euro bill, instead of 67 euros. Incredible!!! Never going back. Pictures for proof.

The worst Greek food that I ever had in Germany. The food was terrible, chicken giros had bones, which is supposed not to have. In addition the chicken meat had something like chicken skin. Unacceptable!!!!

I ordered from the English menu and the man laughed in my face, haha. Obviously, I left. It's in the tourist area, but if you don't speak German and don't want to order randomly (even if it's not cheap), it's better to run.

The food was wonderful, delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The chefs are really skilled, and I would gladly go back again and again. The shop was clean, and Mr. Nikos from the service department was very friendly and attentive! Two things that weren't so great: 1. When I go on a date and am served by a woman wearing a PORNHUB t-shirt, it's very embarrassing and doesn't do the business justice! 2. The service (sweet Niko) isn't allowed to argue in front of guests! Absolute fail! Overall, the shop is highly recommended!

The food was okay, but could have been a bit more seasoned. However, something really bothered me. The gentleman who welcomed us and showed us our seats was very rude, superficial, and arrogant. He treated me very rudely when ordering drinks. I don't even want to go into detail. At one point we sat at the table with empty glasses for almost 20 minutes. In his defense, I have to admit that it was because he was constantly playing with his phone outside the door. His colleagues, who were very friendly and accommodating, were able to salvage the evening somewhat. But there was still a bitter aftertaste. As we all know, first impressions are always the best.

A modern Greek restaurant, but with a bit of a German twist. We came here after seeing it on social media. The dishes felt like adapted versions of the flavors we know from Greece. The portions were quite large and filling, but the taste was quite different from what you’d expect in traditional Greek cuisine. Communication was a bit challenging since the staff didn’t speak much English and the menu was only in German, which made choosing dishes harder. The interior is nice and spacious. We also tried the Aperol, but it tasted very different from the usual and we didn’t like it. It might be worth visiting if you’re curious about Greek food with German influences, but we personally didn’t enjoy it that much. Wouldn’t come back.

We wanted to try the restaurant because it looked very appealing and we were in the mood for Greek food. Unfortunately, the evening was very disappointing. While the food was okay, the service was simply terrible. Only after repeated reminders did the waiter bring drinks. Later, I went inside myself to order at the counter. And the place wasn't busy at the time. When we wanted to pay, the waiter simply didn't bring us a bill. That would only be possible after the payment process. Instead, he told us the amount verbally, which was obviously much too high. He gave us the wrong amount three times in total because portions from the neighboring table were charged to us. It was really tedious.

Let me share my experience, When i visit city of cologne while im traveling i come here from time to time to take a quick sandwich and go, but NOT anymore it was 21:45 o clock almost empty , i ordered a bifteki and wanted to have a quick seat to eat and have a small retsina or water but I was rudely asked to leave Restaurant cause sandwich is not for dine in and it would cost double if I do dine In. seriously so i left with a smile knowing i will never ever come again and also not recommend this place, in greece or any other country it would not survive with this kind of "Service" I'd Like to add that they tried to Delete My review by accusing me of "havent being a customer" bad enough there is photographic proof.

We had it delivered to our house! Fresh, delicious, and not boring! Highly recommended, especially the dips, the baby calamari, and the biftekaki with feta cheese.

The food at Kouzina was truly outstanding – top-notch in taste, freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, that was the only bright spot of the evening. The atmosphere seemed very cold, the service unfriendly and unattentive. Empty glasses were cleared away without comment, without asking for another drink, and the table remained messed up for a long time. Overall, we felt unwelcome. Unfortunately, the evening was also significantly overpriced for what was offered. It's a shame – there was culinary potential, but the overall experience was disappointing.

This is where the desire for a vacation in Greece grows. A good selection of fresh pita, delicious grilled food, and traditional dishes to share. Plus, pleasant, communicative, and friendly service with a Mediterranean zest for life.

The gyro pita was truly delicious! The meat was nicely seasoned and juicy, and the flatbread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Unfortunately, the food was a bit cold, and the portions are larger during the week. Still, it gets 4/5 stars!

Food was okay, spices were missing, salt and pepper were not on the table and the service was rarely seen, you were forced to pay straight away after eating, other guests were offered an ouzo after eating

We were very disappointed with the store. It started with the drinks not being cool. Then for the main dish we had a grill plate that was supposed to come with salad, fries and pita bread. But we never saw the salad instead we got rice, although the waiter didn't say a single word about the fact that there was no more salad. The meat was also swapped and we weren't told about it. Then we wanted to pay, which went quickly but our plates weren't cleared from the table.

Can be highly recommended. Were here last Friday with four adults and two children and had a great window seat. The food was gigantic, very tasty and decent portions. The waitresses were all very friendly and quick. Particularly the man at the grill did a good job. We'd love to come back.

Excellent Greek street food, but different to what you often find in Greek restaurants: no pure “meat platters”, but delicate dishes with great dips and a large selection. The octopus is also highly recommended

Worst experience in Cologne. The waiter accused us of ordering food and drinks that we ultimately had to pay for. The consistency of the food was soft and limp as it was very greasy, watery and cold. In addition, the unfriendliness and audacity of exposing us by shouting in front of all the guests. Once and never again. Biggest physical assault ever.

To make it short: -Eat good -Prices OK -Staff mostly friendly -Cutlery wasn't brought, it was noticed immediately, they said it would be brought, in short: we got it ourselves -The waiter who billed us was very indifferent, paying separately meant simply dividing the total price by 2 without asking if that would be ok for us. No “thank you”, no “have a nice evening”, no “goodbye”, absolutely unsympathetic and a bad flagship for an otherwise very good shop This was my second visit. Probably won't come back. Service is very important to me when I'm in one Restaurant wants to feel comfortable.

The two of us had dinner there yesterday. Restaurant almost empty. Ordered octopus on pea puree. The puree was lukewarm, almost cold. When I pointed out the plate was taken away and brought back a few minutes later at maximum lukewarm. No apology from the waiter. Puree was almost unseasoned and not made from fresh peas. Octopus consisted of three stick-thin, approx. 6 - 7 cm pieces. Also lukewarm and not freshly grilled. Overall, canteen level, far too little to fill you up and at 20 euros, significantly overpriced. Accompaniment was stuffed zucchini, covered in a thick, roux-like mush. Also at canteen level. Overall, the visit was an expensive failure.

We were here with colleagues and guests and everything was great. Food was fresh and super tasty. Niko delivered great service throughout the evening and communicated with everyone in several languages, took photos for us, so gave 100%. We can highly recommend everything!

Really extremely nice staff, the waiter tried very hard to provide blankets and pillows as it was still quite cool outside today. The waiter gave us suggestions for meals where we could get more for our money and benefit financially. The food itself was very tasty, a slightly more modern Greek interpretation. I find this restaurant ridiculous. First, he made us sit in the corner of the restaurant, it was empty and no bench. Second, when my dad asked if the juice was fresh, the waiter got annoyed with him. Third, 0,75 L of water costs €7,50!! This is absurd.

Eat: I ordered pork souvlaka. This was not edible for me because there was more fat on the skewer than meat. My colleague swapped his food with me because it didn't bother him. Essen leider nur mittelmäßig. Tische mega eng zusammen, man kam kaum zu seinem Stuhl und zumindest unser Kellner war leider nicht besonders freundlich.

Mein Partner und ich sind unglaublich begeistert. Das Essen war fantastisch und wir haben mit Abstand noch nie so leckeres griechisches Essen gehabt, obwohl wir schon oft sehr zufrieden waren. Der Service ist aufmerksam und alle waren super freundlich. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!

Dishes are tasty but unfortunately really small portions. Uncomfortable chairs and tables where you can't even fit your legs properly. But at least it's a nice atmosphere, but you won't get tired of it.

So the starter was good, but the main course, I had chicken fillet with parmesan, the meat was disgusting. My husband was a little more lucky, had gyros on bread and salad, all in all the bill was almost 70 euros, we also had 2 small beers and 2 ouzo, which was probably a cheap vodka, so we already know what ouzo is . But it doesn't matter, we're here from Bremen for a few days, we don't have anything like that. Sorry for not recommending it to anyone else

My foods were not really Special. Grilled vegetables were a bit cold, really soft ( i would say more fried than grilled). The two Greek bowls were not really my taste. Service is a bit „cold“ , atmosphere ( inside was cozy but the music was too loud)

On Sunday we were guests at Kouzina for the first time. A corner restaurant that looks inviting from the outside in a great location and a promising concept: Greek Streetfood + Wine. However, what awaited us there did not even give the impression that we wanted to live up to this promise in the slightest. Creations freed from meaning, inconsistent and contradictory in their principles, presented on unclean dishes draped alongside unappetizing mountains of food. To name just a few culinary battlegrounds: Fries greasy and salty, an eggplant with a strange breading filled with disgusting cheese, four drinks - all non-carbonated and a combination of mustard, ketchup and tzatziki on a pita bread. What do mustard + ketchup + tzatziki have to do on bread in Greek cuisine? Even if the waiter was sympathetic to our criticism and tried to calm our tempers with lukewarm ouzo, this will be our first and last visit there. With little appetite for more, we won't try the dishes at Kouzina again.
