It used to be very good. Unfortunately, the pizza is getting smaller and the price is getting higher.

I've been coming here since 1988, so many years and often. I've never been disappointed here. No matter whether it's one of the many pizzas or a dish from the kitchen. Everything is always freshly prepared there and tastes delicious to me. Even though the restaurant is usually full, the service staff are still very polite, nice and helpful. Since the Contrasts restaurant is usually very busy, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance.

I've been regularly in contrasts for at least 25 years. It's always delicious (at reasonable prices) and the staff and owners are always very friendly. And it's very comfortable there. I will be going there regularly for another 25 years. 👍

We were here today. There were five of us, without a reservation. We were very satisfied, everything was very tasty and not expensive. Nice atmosphere and good service. I recommend it with pleasure!

We and our daughter ordered food here for all of us last night and we agreed that the food was subpar. It would have been okay for snack food, but for a restaurant this food didn't work at all. I would have been ashamed as a chef, sorry. We used to always like to come here or order, but that was the last time yesterday and it wasn't worth the money. The only thing that was good was the friendly driver who brought the food. Too bad

We were in Flensburg because of the marathon. As part of the advertising, an offer was offered to participants that apparently didn't even exist. The service person knew nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️ In the end we paid €1 more than if we had ordered normally from the menu. Incredible 🙅‍♀️ About the quality: The pesto pasta with garlic was green, but unfortunately that was it. Visually the food was great 👍🏻It was dripping with olive oil 🫒 The end of the song was... Well 🚽 ... The shepherd's salad, which was supposed to be without tomatoes 🍅 (because they don't get eaten and end up in the trash 🗑️) was of course with tomatoes 🍅 😡😡 And there was also a nice stalk in it (€14.90 😏) Oh, and I forgot the dry flatbread 🫓 from the day before! Never again 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Yesterday we reserved a table for 6 people + 🐕 and everything worked out wonderfully. We received a very friendly welcome, everyone had a smile. The order went across the table quickly. (for 6 people mega) The food was a pure experience for the standard menu! Everyone had something different and it was a pleasure! Price performance Top you can't complain with these large portions, you'll find it in vain in Berlin. Thank you very much for the great, great food and for allowing the 🐕 to come with us.

The wide selection of different dishes doesn't make the decision easy. But I like it precisely because of the selection. AND of course because of the super-friendly service

We ate at “Kontraste” as a family and didn't make a reservation beforehand (Friday evening) - but we still managed to get a table here. The food was delicious, came quickly and we had a good time here. But the best thing was the care from Alexandra - so warm and so attentive - we felt very welcome. Thanks to the entire team for the nice and delicious evening in “Kontaste”!

Dinner during the week, not much going on in the restaurant. It was very warm and stuffy (no air conditioning?). It took the waiter 15 minutes to serve us 3 drinks. The dish we ordered included a grill plate for 2 people. The gyros were either off the spit and then fried again in the pan, or they were basically pan gyros. I'm assuming the latter. The accompanying pork schnitzel was tough, dry and well done. As we all know, you can argue about taste, but this has something to do with quality and that isn't there. The service was also horrible: she served things that were not ordered or were canceled, she forgot simple things like ketchup with fries (and didn't deliver them). We weren't asked for drinks again; attempts to draw attention to our thirst came to nothing. At the end the obligatory question: “Did everything taste good?” - "Well, that's how it worked. Probably not." Big eyes, shrug, no further reaction. A pity. Not recommendable.

Not happy about the pizza. The bread was too big for my style and I think the pizza was a bit too overcooked. The price were acceptable and the place looked clean and nice.

I ordered fried potatoes with eggs and there were rösti triangles with fried egg, everything was strange..

This toilet is really something special! The highlight is definitely the column in the middle, which gives the room a cool touch. And best of all: There's another urinal hidden behind it, which provides a little more privacy - thumbs up for that! There's hardly anything else to complain about: enough cubicles and urinals so you don't have to wait in line, the soap smells really good and towels are also provided. However, the toilet doesn't look very modern, so it only gets 4 stars. Nevertheless: All in all, a top toilet!

The service was very nice, but sometimes you got the impression that the waitresses were a bit annoyed. The food was delicious, unfortunately I only had three small mushroom halves with the mushroom cream sauce. I would have wished for more.

We were there with a group of 5 girls. We each ordered dinner and drinks (we definitely would have drank more if the staff had been more attentive). The food was delicious and, in our opinion, the price/performance ratio was also right. Only the service could really be more attentive and also apologize if we point out after 30 minutes that they forgot a drink. Otherwise, the Contrasts is the right address for a cozy evening with an appealing ambience.

Some things just don't change. And in this case it's great. The pizza tastes like it did 30 years ago, the ambience lets you linger in the rustic, cozy atmosphere of a sociable student bar and the service and price-performance ratio are very pleasant.

Unfortunately the only vegetarian burger was missing due to the lack of halloumi. My schnitzel was ok, unfortunately nothing more and was carelessly drowned in Metaxa sauce, as was unfortunately the salad in the salad dressing. The fries were cold and the beer was warm and stale. I've been there twice now and won't be coming back

My absolute favorite restaurant in all of Flensburg. Every time I visit the city I eat there. The food tastes absolutely fantastic and fresh. The best flatbread with garlic sauce I've ever had. But the chicken fillet also tastes so tender. The The furnishing style is nice and rustic which is just great. It's a shame that shops like this are dying out. Thanks for the great evenings there. You can also get something to pick up. The menu offers a lot of different dishes.

We really liked it. The staff was very friendly and competent. The food was very tasty and plentiful but not too much. We will be very happy to come back. A little update... Unfortunately you've slacked off a bit. My meat from the grill was very dry. I said that too, but there was no response. Half a plate was returned and a full plate was on the bill. You could have at least left out the extra tzatziki. The service doesn't look at empty glasses. Unfortunately my glass wasn't washed well enough. (Unfortunately I couldn't see that until the glass was empty.) Revamp your service and get back to its old strength.

Dear Contrasts team, I would like to tell you today about our visit to your restaurant, which unfortunately did not meet our expectations. We were guests with our entire family and were initially surprised by the low occupancy. Nevertheless, we hoped for a culinary experience. Unfortunately I have to say that the service was fine, but the food, especially my dish, the Gyros Pizza, was a big disappointment. The dough was tasteless and seemed like it had been made a long time ago. It lacked freshness and quality. When I reported my dissatisfaction to the staff, I was simply told that it was a matter of taste. Such an answer really disappointed me. I think it's important to recognize that taste is not only a subjective matter, but also depends on the quality of the ingredients and preparation. An honest recognition of the problem and a little accommodation would certainly have improved the situation. A simple coffee on the house or some other sign of regret would have made me feel differently about my experience.

We really enjoy eating there. However, we also like to avoid the room with the bar and grill as there are often unpleasant smells of smoke there. The ambience itself is simply a matter of taste.

Wie immer, sehr gutes Essen. Also die Pizzen sind immer sehr empfehlenswert. Diese esse ich dort eigentlich immer nur. 😄 Früher schon vor über 30 Jahren und heute auch, wenn ich mal wieder im echten Norden bin.

Masse statt Klasse. Alles überfüllt laut wie in der Bahnhofshalle.Mussten ewig auf Service und Essen warten. Meine Pizza (Gyros) hat nur nach knoblauch geschmeckt! Leider bekam einer von uns auch noch ein dreckiges Weinglas mit Lippenstift resten dran.Kellnerin waren offensichtlich mit der Masse an Kundschaft überfordert.

Nettes Restaurant mit einer guten Auswahl an Speisen, Service sehr freundlich und schnell. Die Nudeln waren leider so durch, die hätte mein Opa ohne Gebiss auch essen können.

Wir waren mit 10 Personen dort. Das Essen war lecker doch die Bedienung unterirdisch. Das Essen wurde - ohne das Not bestand - durch fast alle Hände durchgereicht, zuvor die Bestellung vom ersten vorderen Tisch auch am letzen erfragt. Verständigungsprobleme vorprogrammiert. Hauptsache die langen Haar, die Schminke u. die gestylten langen Fingernägel sitzen! Die Getränke Kamin in Flaschen, die dann (nach dem selber Befüllen) auf dem Tisch stehen blieben. Auch nach der zweiten Runde, standen die ersten Bierflaschen noch. Das sollte die Belegschaft verändern. Wie gesagt, das Essen war lecker (nachdem jeder seinen Daumen drin hatte). Service grottig mit der jungen Damen, die für uns zuständig war. Leicht motzig u. ein Anflug von frech. Essen gehen ist für uns etwas besonderes u. wenn ich eine Selbstbedienung möchte, dann wähle ich eine andere Lokalität. Kontraste sollte sich das etwas zu Herzen nehmen. Eine Chance geben wir ihnen sicher noch mal.

Leckeres Essen und große Portionen

Die Parkplatz Situation ist meist schwierig, aber ich mag das Restaurant total gerne. Das Essen schmeckt uns immer sehr gut. Stifte und Zettel sind für Kinder da, aufmerksam und toll!

Bedienung: schwer deutsch, nett aber wir haben (12 Personen) teilweise was flasches bekommen oder gar nichts als Vorspeise. Essen: Geld nicht Wert aber essbar, musste meinen Lachs zurück geben, extrem versalzen, nicht essbar... Grundstimmung von uns allen sehr negativ. Ambiente: Wir hatten Reserviert. Sehr kalt, Kerzen haben wir und selbst angemacht, Musik ganz komisch. Einrichtung ok.

Gyros sehr Fettig, Reis schmeckt nach kaum etwas.

Essen war total lecker und auch für das Auge toll hergerichtet! Super freundliche zuvorkommende Bedienung!

Es gibt dort erstklassige Pizzen! Oberlecker! Man sollte kommen wenn es nicht so voll ist, oder reservieren falls man mehr als eine/r ist.

Eignet sich hervorragend für einen Besuch. Reichhaltige Auswahl, sehr moderate Preise, angenehmes Ambiente, zügige und nette Bedienung. Absolut empfehlenswert !

Sehr laute Kullise. Nur mit schreien hat man sich gegenseitig noch Verstanden. Es war allerdings zu dem Zeitpunkt auch jeder Stuhl belegt und viele große Gruppen da

Wir sind schon öfters hier gewesen und bis heute waren wir immer sehr zufrieden mit dem leckeren Essen. Heute war es leider nicht so. Ein Essen hat erst garnicht unseren Tisch erreicht, eine Beilage, ein Getränk sowie ein Salat ebenfalls nicht. Das Fleisch war entweder Zäh oder schmeckte verbrannt. Lediglich ein Burger, eine Pizza und die Fischstäbchen waren gut. Eine Entschuldigung durch das Personal gab es nicht, nur ein Preisnachlass wurde gewährt. Das nächste Mal wird unsere Wahl zum Abend definitiv eine andere sein.

Ich habe 3 Gerichte bestellt. Einmal Fischstäbchen für meinen Sohn, Nudeln für mich und Pommes für meine Frau. Wir mussten über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten. Das alleine wäre ja nicht so schlimm gewesen, aber es kam noch hinzu dass alles kalt war. Wir mussten also die Speißen in der Mikrowelle wieder aufwärmen. Während dessen habe ich im Restaurant angerufen um mich darüber zu beschweren. Die Dame die mein Anruf entgegen nahm konnte laut Ihrer Aussage daran auch nichts ändern. Fazit: ich bestelle da nie wieder!

Waren zum wiederholten Male zum Mittagstisch im Kontraste. Lecker Essen, frisch und heiß, nette Bedienung, faire Preise. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder. Allerdings, weiß ich nicht, was mit den Pizzen passiert ist. Die waren immer so lecker und wir haben uns oft welche liefern lassen. Aber in letzter Zeit ist der Funke nicht mehr so übergesprungen. Sehr schade. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder und bestellen, dann eben was anderes.

Lidt væk hovedstrøget i Flensborg ligger denne hyggelige familie restaurant. Hurtig og venlig betjening. Kort ventetid på maden. Maden var udmærket og portionerne var store.

Ich hatte Appetit auf eine frisch zubereitete Pizza. Da das Kontraste diese anbietet, habe ich meine Familie geschnappt, um ein schönes Erlebnis zu haben. Die Bedienung, das Ambiente und die Speisekarte ließen mich vermuten, hier würde ich finden, was ich suchte. Leider war die Pizza Funghi, die ich bestellte die schlechteste, an die ich mich erinnern kann. Sie war zu trocken und schmeckte nur nach Brot. Die anderen Zutaten haben meine Geschmacksnerven irgendwie nicht erreicht.

Die Vielseitigkeit der Speisekarte ist sehr gut , das Essen ist auch sehr gut.. Die Lautstärke in den Räumen ist der einzinste Punkt der etwas stört , aber wegen dem Essen lässt es sich dann auch ertragen ...

In den anderen Bewertungen steht teilweise was von Bar oder Kneipe. Dies ist eine normale Gaststätte mit einer Theke, wo die Getränke gezapft werden. Die Gaststätte ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Hauptraum ist etwas dunkel, was aber an dem Holzofen liegt, der für die Pizza da ist. Dieser hat etwas die Wände verrußt. Es gibt noch einen sehr schönen Nebenraum. Die Bedienungen waren nett und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß. Diese Gaststätte gibt es seit vielen Jahren schon. Auch schön, für Kinder gibt es Malvorlagen mit Stiften sowie Kinderbücher.

Det her må jeg kategorisere, som værende den næst værste oplevelse af alle kulinariske oplevelser. Lokalerne var 1/3 fyldte da vi ankom. Selvom der var reserveringer på alle borde kom der ikke nogen mennesker i de 1-1/2 time vi var her. Vi ventede over en time på en Chili con carne, der var kold indeni og tydeligvis var blevet opvarmet fra dybrossen tilstand. Jeg bestilte en Jägerschnitzel, der blev serveret med meget lyse pommes frites, en alt for fed champignomsauce, der var lavet af champignons fra konserves. Vi valgte at spise her med venner da vi læste de fine anbefalinger, stedet har fået, men der blev vi skuffede. Jeg ved ikke hvad Kontraste har i sinde at gøre for at højne standarden her, for det her er ikke godt nok.

I waited one hour for a portion of chilli con Carne and got rewarded with a total tasteless watery meal. Only extravaganza a piece of pickled chilli. Accompanied with a boring greasy bread, the glass of Flensburg Dunkel draft couldn’t save the evening. Wonder how a chef at a popular restaurant can fail a meal so blatantly. On top this was not even a cheap meal. If negative stars existed I would throw a handful at Restaurant Kontraste.
