Essen lecker! Gibt aber nie Cola, nur Pepsi und oft ungekühlt oder zuckerfrei...nee danke

Heute das 1. Mal per online Bestellung unser Essen im Kontraste geordert. War zuerst ein wenig irritiert, da ich mit meiner persönlichen telefonischen Bestellung nicht durch kam. Aber auch die online Bestellung funktionierte bestens. Witzig war die Begrüßung als ich das Essen selbst abholte: " Habe schon gesehen, dass Du bei uns online bestellt hast. Wolltest Du nicht mehr mit uns telefonieren"? Aber bei dem vollen Betrieb waren scheinbar alle Telefone mit Bestellungswünschen "besetzt" gewesen. Ach ja, - natürlich ist das Ambiente im Kontraste angenehm und persönlich. Aber dieses mal als Selbstabholer, wollte ich es fairer Weise nicht bewerten. Zufriedener Dauerkunde seit fast 30 Jahren !!

Wir waren mittags in einer kleinen Runde zum Essen dort. Alle anderen waren mit ihrem Essen so gut wie fertig, ehe ich meines bekam. Dabei erfordert eine kleine Magherita mMn nicht viel Aufwand - zumal andere Pizzen und Pfannengerichte bereits serviert waren. Um mir die Wartezeit zu verkürzen, wurde mir dann ein Salat angeboten. Die gebrachte Pizza war „okay“ die Kombination aus Teig, Soße und reichlich Käse war für meinen Geschmack zu salzig - wirklich schade. ☹️

Wir waren ohne Reservierung an einem Freitag dort. Für sechs Personen war es kein Problem einen Tisch zu bekommen. Service war super. Schnelle und nette Bedienung und leckeres Essen 😄

Die zue Lieferung bestellte Pizza war ein Graus.

Essen stark versalzen. Lauwarm bis kalt. Pommes labbrig. Für den Preis war es das nicht wert. Ambiente ganz in Ordnung und parksituation etwas schwierig aber das Personal war immerhin freundlich. Nei meiner Frau die Pizze probiert, war okay aber auch nicht beeindruckend, wie ich erhofft hatte.

Ich komm seit 35 Jahren ins Kontraste oder bestelle. So schlecht wie heute war der Service noch nie. Das junge Mädel mit Dienst am Ostersonntag ließ uns fast eine Viertelstunde mit der Bestellung warten, die 2 Strandflens kamen dann mit dem Essen. Sie drehte lieber Besteck in die Papierserviette. Auf die Frage, ob man mal bestellen dürfte, wurde es dann patzig. Die Bezahlung dauerte dann auch noch mal eine halbe Ewigkeit, obwohl ich schon an den Tresen kam. Echt schade, denn Ambiente und Essen sind im Preis/Leistung schon echt gut. Aber bei den Wartezeiten plus die „schöne“ Patzigkeit der Bedienung gab es das erste Mal in 35 Jahren auch kein Trinkgeld. Wir waren übrigens gegen 16.30 Uhr da, sehr überschaubare Auslastung.

Kontraste ist immer noch eine Super Pizzaria, ich war 2008 das letzte Mal hier weil ich in ein anderes Bundesland gezogen bin. Heute bin ich als Urlauber hier und finde es immer noch toll. Der Service ist sehr Freundlich und die Pizza schmeckt immer noch genauso gut wie damals. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich nur empfehlen. Die Pizza werden immer noch im Holzofen gebacken. Einfach toll das es dieses Juwel noch gibt.

Hatte eine Pizza online bestellt. Als ich zur angegebenen Abholzeit 20 Minuten später dort war, wusste das Personal von meiner Bestellung, hat diese aber erst dann an den Pizzabäcker weitergegeben. Ich hab dann nochmal 15 Minuten im Restaurant gewartet :-( Welchen Sinn macht da die Online-Bestellung???

Das Positive vorweg: Die zweite Servicekraft war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Die Atmosphäre im Lokal ist angenehm, und der Kaffee war hervorragend. Zum Essen: Wir bestellten ein Schnitzel mit Pommes, das als „Spezial“ angeboten wurde. Leider entsprach das Gericht nicht unseren Erwartungen. Die Pommes waren sehr dunkel und hart, teilweise bereits nahe am Verbranntsein. Das panierte Schnitzel war ebenfalls hart, nur schwach gewürzt, mit einer insgesamt wenig überzeugenden Konsistenz. Die Soße war klumpig. Bei einem Preis von knapp 16 Euro konnten wir hier kein angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis erkennen. Auch die Gerichte an den Nebentischen wirkten sehr stark durchgegart, unter anderem ein Burger mit sehr dunklen Pommes. Meine Partnerin bestellte eine Gyrospfanne; das Fleisch war teilweise knorpelig. Uns ist bewusst, dass man ein Gericht grundsätzlich zurückgeben kann. Aufgrund von Zeitmangel und Hunger haben wir darauf verzichtet. Auf unsere Rückmeldung zum Essen hin wurden uns freundlicherweise Kaffees angeboten. Schade, da Lage, Atmosphäre und Service grundsätzlich überzeugen. Aus unserer Sicht wäre eine stärkere Ausrichtung auf frisch zubereitete Speisen wünschenswert, ähnlich wie es bei der Pizza offenbar gut gelingt. Fazit: Kaffee und Pizza waren in Ordnung, die Atmosphäre ist freundlich. Das warme Essen konnte an diesem Tag leider nicht überzeugen. Möglicherweise war es ein unglücklicher Moment. Wir wünschen dem Team dennoch weiterhin viel Erfolg.

Auf Grund einer Empfehlung bin ich hierher gekommen. Das Ambiente ist schön und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und zugewandt. Das Essen aber,fand ich enttäuschend. Es werden Shrimps angesagt für die Pizza,sind aber nur Krabben,absolutes NoGo. Tja ,und die Nudeln in Tomatensauce mit Hähnchenstreifen waren sehr geschmacklos und die Nudeln verkocht. Schade,aber von mir keine Empfehlung.

Ich schreibe nur ungerne schlechte Rezensionen. Habe dort grade eben die kleinste Große Pizza rausgeholt die mir je unter gekommen ist. Der Teig schmeckt als hätte ich selber probiert einen Pizzateig in einer Stunde zusammen zu rühren. Bei jedem Dönerladen seid ihr besser dran. Sry, aber ich muss mir jetzt nochmal woanders etwas zu essen besorgen.

Nach 2,5 Stunden Lieferzeit kam das falsche kalte essen an. Absolute Katastrophe. Nie wieder. Edit: Es kam am nächsten Tag ein Anruf mit Entschuldigung und einem Angebot für einen Gutschein, dieser wurde heute eingelöst. Essen war sehr gut und heiß. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell. Danke

Nette Bedienung, schnelle Bestellung,die Bestellung wird schnell fertig und an den Tisch gebracht. Sehr leckeres Essen,immer gleiche und gute Qualität, ausreichende Portionen,günstiges Preisverhältnis,für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Immer wieder gut,seit Jahren.👍

Sehr schmackhafte Pizzen und Knoblauch-/Kräuterbrot. Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut und die Bedienung ist auch top und sehr freundlich. Allgemein eine sehr gute Stimmung mit schönem Ambiente. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Nicht zu empfehlen. Waren um 14:45 Uhr da. Wurden in den Nebenraum verfrachtet. Bestellung wurde nach 25 Minuten aufgenommen Essen und Getränke kamen dann 1 Stunde später. Beim bezahlen hat man sich auch dreimal beten lassen. Nie wieder.

A cozy place that I wouldn't recommend due to the food and some of the staff. The female waitress often makes you feel unwelcome. The two younger women are friendly and do a great job! The pizza is average at best; I can't comment on the other dishes.

Uninspired food: Adana platter with two fishy-tasting minced steaks served with unseasoned fries and a salad with a disgustingly sweet dressing, all for €20... any fast-food place could do better.....

The pizza has a rather thick crust, but is still deliciously crispy. All in all, it's good.

The food was okay to good. I felt the style was a bit lacking. We were told it was Italian on Google Maps, which didn't fit. The service was awful. People preferred to chat. They weren't able to issue a receipt or food bill. Orders were simply not brought. In our opinion, absolutely not recommended if you want to leave a restaurant satisfied.

We ate there today. Ordered vegan food – there was a piece of meat in it. It's unfortunate, but it can happen. We reported it to the server, but there was no apology or anything like that. So, I won't be going back!

So we went there as a family, the food was great, it came quickly, and the price/performance ratio was very good. Great service. Highly recommended.

We had it delivered. I had a calzone, and the ground meat was extremely dry and salty. But things can always get worse: My partner's gyro didn't taste good at all, and it gave him diarrhea.

Whenever we're in Flensburg, a visit to Kontraste is a must. Easy table reservations via Google and delicious food at reasonable prices. We're always happy to go back.

Unfortunately, the pizza had nothing to do with an Italian pizza. The dough was very thick, dry, and hard. It was also too small for the price and, unfortunately, a flop.

I've known Kontraste since it opened (I think it was in 1986), and the quality and value for money are absolutely top-notch. Even though I now live about 700 km south, Kontraste is a must-visit once a year on vacation. Highly recommended.

Really nice restaurant in Flensburg with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The food is tasty and beautifully presented – and the portions are generous without compromising on quality. The staff is service-minded and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. You feel welcome and well taken care of from start to finish. We were given the choice between three different types of fries, which was a nice offer – unfortunately we were served the wrong ones. We had chosen twirl fries, but instead got sweet potato fries. It was a bit of a pain, but they tasted really good, so we thought “never mind” and didn’t complain. I highly recommend Kontraste if you are looking for good food and a good atmosphere in Flensburg.

Best American pizza in town – juicy, cheesy, really good! Kontraste is my first choice when it comes to American pizza! The crust is fluffy yet crispy, the cheese is perfectly layered – and the toppings (especially on the Premium Pizza) are simply unbeatable. I always get the vegetarian version – super delicious and filling! A quick note: The amount of toppings sometimes fluctuates – sometimes there's a lot on it, sometimes less. Especially with the Premium Pizza, I want it to be full-on – it should always be generously topped, as the name suggests. Nevertheless: top-notch flavor, quick preparation, and friendly service. If you love American pizza, you should try Kontraste – the Premium Vegetarian Pizza is my absolute recommendation!

A wide selection of dishes. However, we weren't impressed with the quality.

Had lunch pizza and salad which was great for the price. Fresh and delicious which is at a special lunch price. Note that the pizzas are Napoli style. For those of us with dogs we are welcome 👍

We decided to come here on a whim to have dinner. We were placed in a second room, which was quite cool and seemed uncomfortable. The service staff was unable to provide much information about the ingredients of the pizzas. We then ordered two pizzas. The dough didn't taste freshly prepared, it was quite crumbly and not crispy. The topping was tasty. Since we didn't feel comfortable in the area, we left quite quickly after eating. The price-performance level was relatively reasonable.

Fantastic dining experience with good service. Prices are humane. Lots to choose from. The pizza is wonderful.

I ordered pizza, the dough was like thin bread, little tomato sauce, dry, they used to be so much better, it's a shame I don't think I'll order anything more, it's a shame

A bit unassuming from the outside, but parking is right outside and nearby. I was last there about 30 years ago, the last time because the food wasn't quite to my taste, to put it mildly. Now it's a completely different story: A friend recommended giving the restaurant a try, now under different management, and he invited me in. Okay, the dining room (or rather the rooms) make a very well-kept impression; you immediately feel "welcomed." The service is friendly and competent, offers good advice, and is attentive. There's a large bar for drinks. And the food was amazing! We had a variety of dishes, and they were sooo good. No need for any seasoning, and even small requests for changes were handled wonderfully. That's how it should be. I'll definitely be back now; after all, there's so much more on the menu.

Tasty, fair prices, well maintained.

Food was very tasty and classy. Waiter, on the other hand, was a complete disaster. We were there for a company party with around 35 people (announced). The waiter was completely overwhelmed. Before everyone had drinks, the first dishes went out, which is something I'm not used to. 1 person has already gotten their food but no drink and 2 people haven't eaten. Only at the end, when we had to move on, did one person get their food. It can't be that in the 2 hours we were there the question arose whether everything was okay or whether the food was OK or what was missing. In general, waitresses seemed pretty arrogant to me, but oh well.

We ordered pizza here for the first time on Saturday; The pizza was ready on time, nice and hot and extremely tasty. In the future we will only order here.

Been there several times, but each time the same dish tastes different and the portion size is different each time. Sometimes a good normal portion and then again a children's portion. So it's always a surprise. We won't be coming back!

Today we were there for the third time in a very short space of time. We were so happy with our first visit that we made reservations again for Christmas. The opposite of the first visit happened here. Our third visit today was really disappointing. The portions are getting smaller from time to time. As soon as it was served, I asked if you had confused the dish with the children's plate. The waitress didn't seem to care at all. Since our concerns were not heard at all, we will no longer visit the Contrasts. For this money you get better performance in Flensburg.

When we wanted to hang up our jacket, the waitress hissed at us because we were in the way. When we sat at the table we were quite overwhelmed by the waitress who took our order at double speed. The pizza from the stone oven didn't necessarily resemble an Italian pizza but it was okay. The mushroom plate was again inedible. Since the prices are somewhat similar to the quality of the food, this restaurant deserves 2 stars.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer right here. Overall, the dishes have become even smaller and the prices are even higher. Savings are made on the staple foods rice, pasta and potatoes, which are cheaper in relation to meat and vegetables. Likewise, a whole small baguette bread is not served with the various dishes (like before) but only half of it. Because of this, one portion doesn't really fill you up. I find this development extremely unfortunate and would not come back again for this high price.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen.Essen war ok,nichts besonderes aber schmeckte. Es ist sehr laut dort wenn mehrere Tische besetzt sind.Man muss schreien wenn man sich unterhalten will,kenne ich von anderen Restaurants nicht. Aber was am übelsten war:ich hab dort meinen Talisman verloren. Ich habe den nächsten Tag angerufen und gefragt ob der gefunden wurde. Die "Dame am Telefon war sehr unfreundlich,sie hätte den Talisman auf einen Tisch gesehen und als aufgeräumt wurde weggeschmissen.Fragt mich dann noch pampich ob ich erwarte dass sie in die Mülltonnen springen soll um den daraus zu holen. Ich hätte ja sagen sollen,war aber von dieser ekelhaften gefühlosen Art fassungslos. Man schmeisst sowas doch nicht weg,sondern wartet erstmal ab ob jemand danach fragt.Ich gehe dort nie wieder hin.

A restaurant you can definitely go to. The menu is very rich. There were four of us and two were very happy with their food and two were somewhat happy with their food. The prices are absolutely fine. This isn't my favorite restaurant in Flensburg, but you can definitely eat here.

Ein Fiasko! Das Schnitzelgericht wurde zwar schnell serviert, aber es war ein Industrieschnitzel aus der Friteuse gewesen! Ein NO GO! Das hat in keiner Weise mit einem "Original Wiener Schnitzel" zutun, wie man es in einem guten Restaurant erwartet!

Absolutely disappointing. 😡 As a schnitzel fan, I am totally disappointed by the carelessness of how my industrial schnitzel was served, presumably from the microwave. Ready quickly, but no need for hearty food!

We were there with several people. I had a Jägerschnitzel with fries. The fries were OK. If you like fried schnitzel from a package, ready-made sauce and canned mushrooms, you've come to the right place. The service was nice and tried hard. P.S The pizza at the next table looked much better. Well, wrong choice made.

Pizza delivery service. Etc. You can view the map online. There is also something for the little ones. Parking is free and right in front of the restaurant. The food in contrast is good to very good. I'm a big fan of the pizzas. You can sit comfortably in the restaurant.

It used to be very good. Unfortunately, the pizza is getting smaller and the price is getting higher.

I've been coming here since 1988, so many years and often. I've never been disappointed here. No matter whether it's one of the many pizzas or a dish from the kitchen. Everything is always freshly prepared there and tastes delicious to me. Even though the restaurant is usually full, the service staff are still very polite, nice and helpful. Since the Contrasts restaurant is usually very busy, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance.

Always 😋tasty 😋 Price/performance is right

I've been regularly in contrasts for at least 25 years. It's always delicious (at reasonable prices) and the staff and owners are always very friendly. And it's very comfortable there. I will be going there regularly for another 25 years. 👍

We were here today. There were five of us, without a reservation. We were very satisfied, everything was very tasty and not expensive. Nice atmosphere and good service. I recommend it with pleasure!

We and our daughter ordered food here for all of us last night and we agreed that the food was subpar. It would have been okay for snack food, but for a restaurant this food didn't work at all. I would have been ashamed as a chef, sorry. We used to always like to come here or order, but that was the last time yesterday and it wasn't worth the money. The only thing that was good was the friendly driver who brought the food. Too bad

We were in Flensburg because of the marathon. As part of the advertising, an offer was offered to participants that apparently didn't even exist. The service person knew nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️ In the end we paid €1 more than if we had ordered normally from the menu. Incredible 🙅‍♀️ About the quality: The pesto pasta with garlic was green, but unfortunately that was it. Visually the food was great 👍🏻It was dripping with olive oil 🫒 The end of the song was... Well 🚽 ... The shepherd's salad, which was supposed to be without tomatoes 🍅 (because they don't get eaten and end up in the trash 🗑️) was of course with tomatoes 🍅 😡😡 And there was also a nice stalk in it (€14.90 😏) Oh, and I forgot the dry flatbread 🫓 from the day before! Never again 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Yesterday we reserved a table for 6 people + 🐕 and everything worked out wonderfully. We received a very friendly welcome, everyone had a smile. The order went across the table quickly. (for 6 people mega) The food was a pure experience for the standard menu! Everyone had something different and it was a pleasure! Price performance Top you can't complain with these large portions, you'll find it in vain in Berlin. Thank you very much for the great, great food and for allowing the 🐕 to come with us.

The wide selection of different dishes doesn't make the decision easy. But I like it precisely because of the selection. AND of course because of the super-friendly service

We ate at “Kontraste” as a family and didn't make a reservation beforehand (Friday evening) - but we still managed to get a table here. The food was delicious, came quickly and we had a good time here. But the best thing was the care from Alexandra - so warm and so attentive - we felt very welcome. Thanks to the entire team for the nice and delicious evening in “Kontaste”!

Unfreundlich Bedienung, Pizza sehr klein für den Preis und Jalapenos mit Stiel, unappetitlich. Komme nicht wieder !!

Dinner during the week, not much going on in the restaurant. It was very warm and stuffy (no air conditioning?). It took the waiter 15 minutes to serve us 3 drinks. The dish we ordered included a grill plate for 2 people. The gyros were either off the spit and then fried again in the pan, or they were basically pan gyros. I'm assuming the latter. The accompanying pork schnitzel was tough, dry and well done. As we all know, you can argue about taste, but this has something to do with quality and that isn't there. The service was also horrible: she served things that were not ordered or were canceled, she forgot simple things like ketchup with fries (and didn't deliver them). We weren't asked for drinks again; attempts to draw attention to our thirst came to nothing. At the end the obligatory question: “Did everything taste good?” - "Well, that's how it worked. Probably not." Big eyes, shrug, no further reaction. A pity. Not recommendable.

Not happy about the pizza. The bread was too big for my style and I think the pizza was a bit too overcooked. The price were acceptable and the place looked clean and nice.

This toilet is really something special! The highlight is definitely the column in the middle, which gives the room a cool touch. And best of all: There's another urinal hidden behind it, which provides a little more privacy - thumbs up for that! There's hardly anything else to complain about: enough cubicles and urinals so you don't have to wait in line, the soap smells really good and towels are also provided. However, the toilet doesn't look very modern, so it only gets 4 stars. Nevertheless: All in all, a top toilet!

I ordered fried potatoes with eggs and there were rösti triangles with fried egg, everything was strange..

The service was very nice, but sometimes you got the impression that the waitresses were a bit annoyed. The food was delicious, unfortunately I only had three small mushroom halves with the mushroom cream sauce. I would have wished for more.
