If you're looking for home-style cooking in a quiet, normal atmosphere, you're really in the right place here! We come here to eat often, especially because even the "senior" portions are more than enough - even for good eaters like us. The food always tastes really good, and at a more than fair price! And you won't be looked at askance here if you have "special requests" like a little more sauce or other side dishes. We only know the service to be more than friendly, and people are happy to give a tip ;) If you're looking for a hip restaurant with frills and chi-chi, you've definitely come to the wrong place! But if you are looking for a nostalgic, cozy restaurant, you will feel at home here and get very good food. There is only one thing that bothers my wife and me: Mondays are a day off. otherwise we would eat here much more often ;)

Waited 1 hour for the food, the meat was toe and poorly seasoned, the knives were very dull, but the waiter was very nice. It was the worst restitution I've had so far, it's not worth another visit.

Unfortunately I can only say something really good about the super friendly service - the young woman took care of everything else, thank you again. I personally found the menu and dishes meaningless. Just the usual when you eat a home-style meal. There's nothing great to say about all three dishes. Unfortunately, when the meat platter (name of the dish I forget) and the game platter are swimming in the same sauce, that speaks volumes. The steak missed the cooking point and the meat was not pared well. The creamed mushrooms hadn't seen a lot of cream in their roux. Fried potatoes were OK. In my opinion, the ambience is outdated and does not follow any concept. It's a shame, everything could have been better. But maybe just a bad day in the kitchen?

I've been to several restaurants and had good food, but King of Prussia is my favorite. Here you can get the best home cooking, sumptuous and really tasty. Very good value for money.

Perfectly done! The key point is that there are no fish bones. I like this mom style restaurant. You feel like you're traveling through time.

Today we reserved a table for 3 people. When we arrived the reservation was not there. I have witnesses that I had reserved. We were then told it might take a while. AFTER 80 minutes we still hadn't eaten. When we asked, we were told that there had been an illness, so there would only be one cook. That's a hassle for the kitchen, but as a guest I can't do that. We then left the restaurant. We will not recommend this restaurant

Very friendly service. All dishes came at the same time. Everyone enjoyed it. Home cooking. No chichi. People always asked if everything was okay. Gladly again.

We had a small farewell party for our 89 year old mother. We were happy with everything.

The food was good, the service was friendly, but noticed us quite late, the atmosphere was quite simple. If you want a quick, good meal, it's good, if you want a fancy meal you should go somewhere else

Service was very friendly. Unfortunately the food was totally tasteless. The mushroom sauce, a flour sauce without spices without any taste, the fried potatoes without pep and burnt. Duck had freezer burn and tasted like frost, the kale wasn't good. The staff was very friendly. Maybe you should take the lunch specials, which are also totally priced. It's a shame we were very disappointed.

Essen war mega lecker 😋 Dem Kellner würde ein kleines Lächeln gut zu Gesicht stehen, aber ansonsten hatten wir eine schöne Zeit.

Whenever I am coming to visit my home town, it is unavoidable to come here and grab some of their authentically home made German Food. It is exactly like I remember it from the days of my childhood and it cheers me up every time. They have a special menu for week days which they're calling "Futtern wie bei Muttern" (roughly: "Eat like at mom's.") and that's a promise they're keeping. I tried several dishes from this one as well as from the main menu, and without a doubt, it is and will be one of the places to go to whenever I am in the mood to get food prepared like this. Also, the staff is nice, caring and attentive and what I like too, is the fact to meet the same experienced guys for quite some years already. (Probably it is decades already, but you know, who counts the years ...) Thanks, will be in Germany soon, and who knows ...

Hier kann man deftig und wie bei Muttern essen. Angemessene Portionen und sehr schmackhaft. Gern wieder zum Essen.

Das Essen ist reichlich und sehr lecker. Auf die Sauberkeit im Gastraum könnte jedoch mehr Wert gelegt werden.

Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft, die Wartezeit darauf war sehr lange. Das Ambiente ist etwas angestaubt. Es ist eine Renovierung und neue Möbel von Nöten.

Wir waren einen Tag auf der Rückreise in Magdeburg. Wir haben nach bodenständigem Essen gegoogelt und sind bei König von Preußen gelandet. Wir können nur sagen: futtern wie bei Muttern und das 2.0!!!!! Ich hatte eine Gänsebrust die der Hammer war und mein Mann hatte Rinderroulade die auch total lecker war. Bei der Gänsebrust fehlte mir ein wenig Soße, weil ich ein Soßenesser bin. Auf Nachfrage habe ich sofort welche nach bekommen. Also ich kann nur sagen: dieses Lokal ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp!!! Service genial, Preis-Leistung genial und das Essen: schmackofatz!!!! Wenn ihr in Magdeburg seid müsst ihr dahin!!! Die Straßenbahn hält direkt davor!!!

Gutes Essen und Hausmannskost, Kaffee, Kuchen und Eis sind auch im Angebot. Bedienung war sehr nett Essen kam auch im angemessen Zeitraum.

Das Essen war Sehr lecker. Volle Empfehlung. Auch die Bedienung war klasse. Das Ambiente ist passend rustikal. Wer Deutsche Küche liebt ist beim König Von Preußen genau richtig.

Waren heute spontan zu zweit in dem Restaurant. Gleich zu Beginn wurden wir auf längere Wartezeit hingewiesen, dies schreckte uns nicht ab, denn wir wollten deutsche Hausmannskost. 1er - 4er und 8er Tisch waren belegt. Wir haben uns nach hinten gesetzt Richtung Tresen. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich (Annika? ;) ). Getränke gab es auch sehr flott. Ein einfaches Radler durfte es sein. Hauptspeise? Ja klar. Schlemmerplatte. Wir haben keine 30 Minuten gewartet und das Essen war pünktlicher am Tisch, als wir uns drauf eingestellt hatten. Wir fanden es sehr lecker und es war auch reichlich. Wir bedanken uns für den netten Schnack und den Schlager im Hintergrund, der mitwippen ließ. ;) Bis zum nächsten mal!

Смачно, душевно, локально. З одного боку: звичайне меню. З іншого боку: звичайне, смачне меню та купа місцевих мешканців, що свідчить про ТРАДИЦІЮ. Ми чудово провели свій час тут. Повернемося? Обов'язково.

Solide deutsche Küche. Nette Bedienung. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal, passend zum Namen. Speisen und Getränke wurden zügig an den Tisch gebracht. Die Preise sind gerade noch im Rahmen, aber im Moment ist es halt nicht leicht in der Gastronomie.

Wir waren gestern dort zum ersten mal Essen und waren sehr zufrieden. Es hat allen geschmeckt sogar den 3 Kindern 😊. Vom Preisleistungsverhältnis ist es auch zufriedenstellend. Die Eiskarte ist auch sehr gut. Wir werden definitiv jetzt öfters mal vorbei schauen 😊

Sehr schmackhafte deutsche Küche, preiswert. Es gibt immer eine Suppe, die super schmeckt. Günstige Mittagsgerichte, auch Seniorenessen sind im Angebot. Und dazu immer eine nette freundliche Bedienung. Da kommt man gerne wieder.
