Very tasty sushi 🍣 and the starter selection was also delicious (homemade Asian tapas). 😋 Rather average service (sometimes bad German) and the cramped atmosphere (rather hectic) only lead to 4 stars. But we will definitely come back again. 👍🏼

Extremely delicious every time!!! Accordingly, there are a lot of guests, but they still usually have space because of the competent staff :) The ambience is very nice, especially the curtain at the entrance makes an impression. Average food, lots of show, high priced with below average service. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired if you look closely. Dusty radiators, dust mice on the floor. The condition and cleanliness of the toilets are not appropriate for the intended upscale ambience. It was also very noisy and had something of a train station hall feel to it. Unfortunately, going out for a nice meal wasn't an option.

Mass processing! After the main course you are asked to pay pretty quickly, even though the reservation would have been half an hour longer. (We were just about to order dessert!) Meat in the vegetarian dish, there was no apology or insight. At least a drink was on the house!!! Tips are given to yourself...uhhhh...okeee!!! It's a real shame because it was definitely delicious, even if the volume was unbearable. Will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

Great restaurant a little cheaper but worth every cent

We created a sushi platter and then ordered mochi for dessert - both dishes were okay, but not outstanding. The cocktails tasted better! The restaurant was very busy in the evening, so we were lucky to get a table. The atmosphere is appealing, but the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed due to the crowds, which unfortunately had an impact on the service. Tip: Better dine in instead of delivery, you can taste the difference!

The service still has room for improvement, we 7 people were unfortunately only acknowledged after three requests...the food came quickly and was consistently good. Second chance? I think so...

The taste is very bland and the crispy bone-in chicken meat is not edible. As I know from other Asian restaurants, I was missing Thai basil and lemongrass for the taste...unfortunately I can't recommend it.

The food was good. Had mostly sushi, starters and also a few other main courses. Everyone was happy so far. The service was normal, neither noticeably friendly nor bad. Unfortunately, the acoustics are almost unbearable. It's terribly loud, making normal conversation tiring and almost impossible. Would probably come again in the summer when you can sit outside and not have the noise level inside. (Visit on Saturday evening at 8 p.m.)

We sat upstairs, the noise was brutal (+ music), there was no entertainment. With tuna sushi you had to look for the fish with a magnifying glass - only cucumber and rice, otherwise the whole thing was tasteless. The other sushi wasn't any better. Paid €100, outrageous. It's better not to use dry ice fog, but invest in food...

Staff very nice but unfortunately not enough demand because of new orders. Food delicious. Ambience nice. We had ordered a table for 18 people. Thank God not everyone came otherwise there wouldn't have been enough tables and when we arrived there were still people sitting at our table so we were still waiting.

I had planned to celebrate my birthday at your restaurant on December 13th and reserved a table on the second floor by the window for six people four days in advance. The reservation was confirmed to me and I specifically mentioned that it was a birthday party. However, when we arrived we were assigned a small table near the dirty dishes station, even though the table by the window was free. When I pointed out that I had reserved the table by the window in advance, I was told that such tables had to be reserved well in advance (which I did) and that the table was reserved for other guests who ultimately didn't show up. Dirty plates were passed over my guests' heads throughout the evening, despite our repeated requests to stop. The cake we brought was served in its packaging at the end of the evening, without candles, congratulations or plates, even though we had asked in advance for it to be presented with lit candles. Unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing and my birthday was completely ruined. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not visit it again in the future.

A great, impressive location and fast, super friendly service staff. The food is fresh and tasty, the only negative point is the description of the dishes. E.g. In the salads you leave avocado and sprouts... after a thorough search we found ONE mini piece of avocado, half a tomato but unfortunately no sprouts. Unfortunately, the same was the case with other dishes. Too bad

I was thrilled and had never been to a restaurant like this

I have already been here once and I firmly promised not to enter the store again. The food was already bland and dry a year ago. Unfortunately, I had received a voucher and thought to myself, OK, give it a second chance, but my subconscious was already talking to me with negative ones. The main courses tasteless and carelessly prepared. The children's menu with chicken smelled extremely. When I mentioned this I was literally attacked by the waiter 🤣 when I paid I told him clearly that the dishes were very bad. Please avoid going to Fujiama instead.

The food is really TOP. Everything is freshly prepared. In the restaurant you have an open view directly into the kitchen. The price-performance ratio is also right. However, you should reserve in advance.

Christmas dinner with the company; Reservation for the upper floor - when we arrived it suddenly said that upstairs wasn't open yet. So we had to sit on the ground floor, which had the atmosphere of a train station hall. Guests who arrived shortly after us were allowed upstairs. Very long waiting time until the waitress even took the drink order. After waiting again we were able to order our food, which was the next big disappointment. The duck was already sold out, we were not informed of this beforehand. The starter came at the same time as the main course. A change to the supplement that was mentioned when ordering was not addressed. When paying, the waitress suggested adding a 10% tip to the bill. We refused this because of the poor service. To date we have not received an entertainment invoice as agreed and when we asked repeatedly we were told that the office was closed and when we asked again for clarification we simply hung up. Never again!

The restaurant looks very nice from the outside, you were welcomed downstairs and sent upstairs with a handwritten note. When we got to the top, we stood in the hallway at the stairs for 8 minutes and weren't even looked at, then we were pushed further down the hallway to wait somewhere else. Because our tables were still occupied. We were served quickly when we took our seat. The prices for sparkling and still bottles of water were very steep, I think almost €8 for 0.75L is excessive. The starter plate for 2PX consisted almost exclusively of fried things, which we thought was a shame, we would have thought it would have been nicer if there had been a few fresh Asian dishes on it apart from salad, but the things still tasted good. Our main course was sushi, which was delicious and fresh. The ambience was very pleasant, nicely decorated, not too much and not too little, but it was very loud.

I've been there several times before, but the last visit was incredible. From the wrong order being taken, no information being passed on to the non-existent food for the day, the starter and main course coming at the same time, we all got our food at different times (there were 8 of us) and were asked for a 10% tip at the end. We have been waiting for the invoice for 2 weeks now, which we will receive by email as discussed on site. They said no problem, you'll get them in two days. Several calls and two weeks later with no solution found and no progress and no attempt on your part to speed things up. We were and still are really shocked.

Our visit to Kokono was a disaster. The starter came together with the main course. Three of us wanted duck and we weren't told there wasn't any. The waiter asked for a 10% tip. Orders came wrong. We've also been waiting for our invoice for two weeks and still haven't received anything by email. We've already called four times and in the end they just hung up on us or kept giving excuses like "Our office is on vacation" or "we have to say everything by email" even though we wrote everything down when we were eating there and specifically asked how long it would take until the bill comes and they said one or two days. NEVER AGAIN

Pure rip off, the food is not worth it, overpriced. For two small dishes (70% consists of salad and the rest of the meat is chopped) with a glass of red wine and a Hugo €73! Never again!

The food was very good and the service was also very friendly and polite. I particularly enjoyed the tender duck, but the curry and sushi are also recommended. Unfortunately, there is a slight deduction in points for the service, as our food (there were around 18 of us) sometimes took a long time and also came at a very different time. As a result, some people had already finished eating, while others were only able to start - that was a bit of a shame, but we understood. The ambience, friendliness and food are very good and I would happily go there again.

We came for lunch after we arrived to city. Great Asian food which we absolutely enjoyed and nice ambience too. The biggest issue here was waiter literally demanding tips. It’s pretty poor experience which I find unacceptable. A reminder : It’s Germany and not USA - if customer would like to leave tip it is his absolute discretion. Management please take a note.

The food was great and there was also a little dry ice show for our little one, who thought it was great. Highly recommended and worth the price.

Very nice environment with quick and attentive service. We came with a group of 3 on a very busy night, and despite a full house they seated us without a reservation. They gave us a time limit, as the table was reserved for later, which worked very well. Food was prompt and high quality. The decorations in the restaurant added to the atmosphere. I’d recommend making a reservation in advance for next time.

Beautiful restaurant with great food presentation. We order #14 salad, #37 scallops roll, #53 prawns roll and # 91 beef In pineapple bowl with rice. Drink: # pickle berry # passion Mainz and beer. Salad is very good. Sushi is nice and fresh. Beef didn’t handle well, it’s chewy and not tender at all. Taking some time to wait for seating due to we didn’t make reservation before hand, wait time is about 20 minutes at around 7:15. The waitress was friendly. Price is reasonable. Over all a great restaurant!

The service is okay - but nothing more, the ambience is harmonious. The prices for the main courses are overpriced. [If you cannot prepare a steak -Surf and Turf- correctly, you should not put it on your menu] Unfortunately, the sushi was not of the highest quality when it came to the quality of the salmon and tuna. Scampi were soggy, some of the chicken was still extremely pink... There is a lot of room for improvement, unfortunately I can't make a recommendation 🙃

The service from the restaurant is really very rude towards foreigners. My girlfriend came to Germany to visit me. She went to this restaurant with another friend and her boyfriend to eat there on December 8, 2024 at 1 p.m. They couldn't complain about the food, they thought it was good. They later told me that the waiter asked for a 10% tip! Since they are three tourists and don't know Germany that well, they paid this money because they thought that you have to tip in Germany! The waiter's last name is “Hoang” (that's what you read on the name tag). Very disrespectful That's why I only give 2 stars

The food was great. You can argue about price-performance. However, it was completely overcrowded and extremely loud (we were there on a Saturday). You literally had to shout at each other. Even with a reservation we had to wait a long time for the table.

Nice place that seems to be very popular at the moment. We were there on Thursday evening and the restaurant was completely full. We ordered gyozas, mango salad, coconut curry and a sashimi, as well as an Aruba Spritz and a Mai Tai. The food and drinks were at the table quickly and we enjoyed it very much, and everything was beautifully presented. The cocktail and the spritz were also delicious. Overall, we really liked it and will definitely remember Kokono for our next visit to Nuremberg.

When you order for collection over the phone, you are abruptly told that you should come by and place an order on site... after all, you have a lot to do. A polite query was then taken as an opportunity to simply hang up. It's a shame... especially since the previous visit to the restaurant was quite pleasant. After this experience, this first visit to Kokono will also have been the last.

My visit to Kokono in Nuremberg left mixed impressions. First, the positive: The service was remarkably quick and attentive, which made the process pleasant. The modern furnishings of the restaurant, including an open kitchen, also contributed to a stylish atmosphere. Unfortunately, there were a few points that spoiled the overall impression. The menu does not contain any images, which is often standard in other upscale and modern Asian restaurants. This made the selection a little more difficult as you had to rely on the description. The taste of the food was also not convincing. The rice was way too soft and sticky, which negatively affected the quality of the food. Overall, the visit was unfortunately not particularly memorable. Although the service was good, the cuisine couldn't keep up with the rest of the ambience and expectations of a modern Asian restaurant.

The ambience is great, but everything else is not. The volume downstairs is unbearable. The open kitchen caused further noise. If you request a new seat, e.g. B. upstairs, the waiter said, it is just as loud and crowded. It was more comfortable upstairs, more space and also quieter. We also had a reservation, and apparently they don't have a decent reservation system because we were assigned a random spot that was free (below). At the beginning the waiter was very nice, the food came quickly. Really boring and bland in taste. I had hoped for better for over 20 euros per dish (of the specialties). After half an hour with obviously empty drinks and no waiter in sight, we decided to leave. It's difficult when the waiter seems to be ignoring you. After we finally motivated the waiter to pay, he was quite interested in where his tip went. After I refused, he got pretty upset and ran away without comment. No goodbye, no nothing. I was very relieved when I got out. It was our last visit. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

We tried the lunch menu today and everything tasted delicious. There was a lot going on at lunchtime. So it was a bit hectic, but that didn't really bother us. The dishes were freshly prepared and sufficiently portioned. We paid just under €30 for two main courses and a large drink. Menu selection is large and varied. The staff were friendly. Gladly again.

I love the food at all Kokono, but I was there with my big family and I felt the loud noises from the first floor saloon very annoying. And the amazing second floor was closed 😢.

Do you want Asian food? Here is the best Asian food from around! Really fantastic how everything is prepared and with what effort. Keep it up! The food tastes really wonderful and is also very filling, but not so much that it becomes a burden. I would particularly like to highlight and recommend these delicious spring rolls… So crispy and delicious! The cocktails and mocktails are also simply delicious.

I usually enjoy going to Kokono, but yesterday it was a mess. We reserved a table for my father's birthday at 8 p.m. We were allowed to wait on the stairs for 30 minutes and there were around 30 other guests who also had to wait. No apology was offered, nor was any small compensation offered. Then we got a sticky table with 10 other guests sitting at it. Food great, but the staff is a no go. I won't be coming back for a while.

Food was OK. Nice ambience, but also very loud and crowded. We made reservations for 6 p.m. The main course came at 7:05 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. we were politely asked to pay and leave the place. Unfortunately, we didn't know beforehand that the time was limited and wasn't informed when we made the reservation.

When we asked why that was the case, we made reservations for 7 p.m. for 6 people. (We were even asked if the table would last until 8:45 p.m. and you also had a cell phone number) The answer came that that wasn't the issue and that he couldn't handle the pressure. Because this doesn't change the situation. Unfortunately never again. Then say you don't have room on the phone or own up to your mistakes! We recommend the BurgerHeart next door and got a nice table without a reservation.

Had booked a reservation a week in advance with a time slot of 1 hour 45 minutes. We received an unfriendly, overwhelmed employee who then reacted in an annoyed manner. We were then supposed to sit down somewhere with strangers (the waiter said “he can squeeze us in with him”). Without us...we actually wanted to celebrate a birthday in private. Accordingly, we chose another restaurant nearby.

I am very disappointed with my visit to Kokono Nuremberg. The food was really bad - the sushi and other dishes tasted bland and inconspicuous, as if they were prepared without freshness or love. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also disappointing, there is no music at all, which makes the stay uncomfortable and does not create any comfort. The staff also seemed to have no interest in the guests - the service was unfriendly and not very attentive. I cannot recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good food and friendly service.

Price-performance ratio for lunch dishes is just ok. The ambience is pleasant, decorated with a lot of deco and good taste, but the acoustics are bad - you couldn't talk comfortably at the table. 4.90 for lemongrass tea is actually a disgrace when there is only hot water and cut lemongrass in the cup.

We traveled an extra hour... The sushi is not worth the price. Old rice, the fish just at the limit of the cold chain... some of the wasabi is still frozen... The waitress does the bare minimum and is sick, always wiping her nose on her sleeve... No goodbye or have a nice evening... Doesn't work at all... it takes a long time for the food to arrive... At the time we had a bill of almost 80 euros... you don't just expect a show when eating with dry ice... The ambience is nice but not only the tables should be cleaned but also the absolutely dirty radiators at the table...

We had to wait at least 10 minutes before we were even registered and given the menu. The second drink we ordered was forgotten after asking twice and then it came. The dessert menu wasn't brought at first after requests, only after a reminder. But food was great.

The ambience/design is awesome. The food is good, it's nothing special (it tastes much better at a very similar-sounding restaurant around the corner or at other addresses in Nbg). But what really put us off was the impersonal and superficial assembly line handling. If you put the ambience before the food, this is the place for you.
