The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant. The sushi, sashimi & dumplings were delicious. The service was a bit slow. But gladly again.

The sushi and the curry with the beef are super tasty and the edamame and gyoza as starters are also convincing. It is located in the middle of the city center and therefore has a great atmosphere.

We were greeted warmly and the service was very good. The dishes were all very tasty and beautifully presented. We sat downstairs with a view of the kitchen! It was quite nice there. When I had to go to the toilet I only saw the upper area. This one is even more beautiful. Everything is stylishly furnished and wrapped in a pleasant atmosphere. A clear recommendation! If I'm in Nuremberg again, I'll be happy to come back.

Cool place with incredibly delicious food. One of the best Asian cafes in Germany, the service is always fast. The cost of the dishes is not cheap, but is fully justified by the spectacular presentation and delicious food. The last time we had an unpleasant moment with the waitress, we asked for a seat by the window, it was free. The waitress said that this place was only for large groups (there were two of us), a couple of minutes later another couple came in and the same waitress seated them there (they had no reservations). It wasn't very pleasant.

A really good Asian restaurant that impresses with authentic taste and a very nice ambience. The dishes were freshly prepared, well seasoned and lovingly presented. The curries in particular tasted excellent. The vegetarian options were also varied and very tasty. But the highlight was definitely the stylish interior: warm lighting, Asian design elements and a quiet atmosphere that invites you to linger. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Absolutely fair price for the quality offered. All in all, a thoroughly successful visit – I will definitely be back and can fully recommend the restaurant!

Great Asian food and drinks in a cool atmosphere.

I found it very loud. There is a larger room on the ground floor with lots of tables, which has a bit of a train station atmosphere. My meal was good but very little for the price. Had to wait forever for dessert and ask again before it was served.

Delicious sushi. Friendly staff. Reservations were difficult on the phone, because English doesn't really work here.

It was my first and last time there. The atmosphere is nice but very stuffy. The service was unfortunately not good at all. First, my child's menu was forgotten, and then, in the end, they even added a menu and water to the bill that I hadn't ordered. When I said there was a mistake on their part, they just said, "Well, we've been working here for years and we've never made a mistake." It's a shame that they even portray customers as liars.

Even though Kokono was overbooked due to EW25 fair (People with reservation waiting in front of Kokono to get a table) the food and service was still very good.

The food was very small and tasteless. The food has nothing to do with Japanese culture. We waited an hour to get our food. We don't recommend eating there. Love from real Japanese people.

Besonders die Sushi-Variationen und die Teppanyaki-Gerichte sind ein echtes Highlight. Das Ambiente ist modern und stilvoll, mit einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Trotz der hochwertigen Einrichtung bleibt die Stimmung entspannt – perfekt für einen gemütlichen Abend. Auch der Service verdient ein großes Lob: Das Personal ist aufmerksam, freundlich und sorgt dafür, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Restaurant für alle, die asiatische Küche auf hohem Niveau genießen möchten! Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

An imaginative ambiance: streams of herring float along the ceiling, and white lanterns adorn the building. The menu is equally imaginative: classic sushi as well as other Asian specialties, such as tuna tartare with avocado, fried avocado with grilled salmon, and the chef's creative creations.

My colleague and I had diarrhea and vomited all night long after eating last Saturday. My colleague had to vomit blood and we both had to go to the emergency because it kept getting worse. Now we were both sent home with a sick leave of 5 days and these symptoms didn't stop until 2 days later. However, the service was very friendly to us as always, but now we had a bad experience and are thinking about coming back.

My sister was there with her boyfriend and his boyfriend, and my daughter was there too last Saturday evening. They ate various sushi platters, including crab meat and salmon. A few hours later, the two boys were vomiting so badly. My sister's boyfriend was even vomiting blood at the end and had a severe diarrhea, which is not normal. This shouldn't happen. We should report it to the health authorities. How could this happen? Please, hygiene must be the be-all and end-all. And so they drove back to Switzerland the next day because they live there. It was simply a huge disappointment and just sad. We will never go there again. People, be careful what you eat there!!!

Yesterday we went to this restaurant to break our fast/dinner and had already ordered in advance. Although many tables were free, as a group of 5 we only got a small table for 4 in the corner. Despite repeated indications that it was too narrow, we were suddenly offered a larger table after repeated inquiries and almost all of the food had been delivered - unnecessary effort and absolutely unorganized, even though we had reserved almost 2 weeks in advance. An even bigger problem for me was the drink: I had specifically ordered a non-alcoholic passionfruit iced tea, but was given an aperitif with alcohol - an absolute no-go. No apology, no accommodation. The food was average at best - the sushi was dry, the curry was OK, but nothing special. Definitely not worth it for €45 per person. Service inattentive and inflexible.

If you really love authentic Japanese food, don't come here. Undoubtedly, the restaurant is decorated quite nicely, but the service can definitely be improved and the food, as already mentioned above, is nothing that will blow your mind away... Examples: Dragonfire (supposed signature rolls) turn out to be a boring sushi variety and the sashimi is a) way too big and thickly cut and b) the texture of the tuna is rather slimy... the wakame on which it was served tasted inedible... the verdict sounds harsh, however Unfortunately, it hits the nail on the head… definitely not an emo mistake on my part and another visit is almost impossible… what a shame

Interior was well decorated. Food was okay for me. Ordered the ocean plate that has salad, rice, scallops, shrimp, some vegetables, and tentacles. Not sure if the tentacles were grilled but a bit slimy for my taste and not tender. Seems not fresh but the starter shrimp tempura was tasty. I was told to stay for 1 hour not sure if it was a policy or because i was eating alone. So I didn’t explore other menu. Could have been better if there was no time limit.

Super nice and fast service, which also makes special requests possible without any complications. The creative crossover combinations (tempura shrimp & mozzarella – crazy good!) are a real highlight. Great atmosphere - I'll definitely be back!

One of the best locations for quality sushi! The staff are super nice and try to accommodate you even without a reservation. Very fresh salmon but also super tasty pasta and curry dishes. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The Internet celebrity restaurant has a stylish design and exquisite decoration. When you open the door, there is a thick black curtain, which gives people a sense of mysterious expectation. As soon as the door curtain is opened, the exquisite and fashionable decoration immediately comes into view, which is very stunning. The service staff is enthusiastic and friendly, the sushi is very fresh, and it is served with dry ice. It has a full atmosphere and the portion of seafood is a little smaller. The only drawback is that there are no pictures on the menu. Customers who are not so familiar with the names of Asian dishes may have difficulty in choosing...

We were told on the phone that our table was reserved for us for 1.5 hours. The sushi was okay, but of course a bit more expensive. When we had finished eating after three quarters of an hour, the employees asked us several times whether we would like to order dessert and if not, they asked us to leave. Considering that we collectively paid over 60 euros for our meal and that we were promised a table for 1.5 hours and that we would have liked to chat for a while, that's a disgrace. We won't come anymore.

Yesterday we were there for lunch. We got the place quickly. The ambience is very nice. But that was it for the positive impressions. The drinks are served with paper straws that were muddy after 5 minutes. Either you drink completely without it, or you order a new straw every time. It's nothing new, but I've never noticed such poor quality anywhere. Instead of the menu I ordered, I was served the wrong one. After I complained, I was served the correct menu, but again I had to wait. Unfortunately, neither the menu nor the waiter mentioned that the dish was damn spicy. And since I don't eat anything spicy, I stayed hungry and was only able to finish half of the menu. Bill was as expected, quite expensive. For me: not worth a second visit! Too bad.

I celebrated my big birthday here. Despite making a reservation at 8 p.m. we had to wait downstairs and once on the stairs. It wasn't organized and we were given the table opposite the counter upstairs. The only passage for all people, employees... The waiting time until we got a table was almost 25 minutes. There was neither an excuse for this nor was there anything “on the house”. I know from other restaurants that you get something on the house for this. The food was good, the cocktails were simply served wrong, but still pay for them and keep them. Okay for after work during the week but not for weekends or reservations.

Worst service I've ever seen. We made a reservation for five people three hours ago, but when we arrived there was a huge line for everyone to reserve. When we finally got a worker after twenty minutes, even though we made a reservation, he told us that there were no tables and the only table was only for about four people. Very unprofessional!

So overbooking might be okay with American airlines, but if I reserve a restaurant for 6 p.m., then wait outside for 10 minutes, then get a piece of paper that I have to show “upstairs,” but there is already a line upstairs that I have to wait for 15 minutes, then the evening is already ruined. But when it's your turn and you get a table for 4 people, even though you ordered for 5, with the sentence - we just add a chair, but there is no space for a 5th chair, let alone a 5th person... just miserable... If you don't have any seats, just say, I'll book somewhere else and not look for another restaurant with the whole family

I ate tuna and it tasted very good. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was also right.

Location well looked after in all aspects and capable of creating a very intimate atmosphere. As an appetizer to share, I took these vegetarian gyoza, which turned out to be really tasty and very crunchy. As a main course I opted for rice with vegetables and coconut cream: if I have to make a note, for my taste this cream was too sweet, therefore becoming rather cloying in the long run. Overall, however, the dish turned out to be of excellent quality. Excellent value for money and very time-efficient service.

We had a table reservation at 6:30 p.m., but at 7:30 p.m. we were informed that we had to vacate the table because it was reserved for other guests. However, no information about the maximum length of stay was given when making the reservation. First, an employee came and asked us to leave by 8:00 p.m. Shortly afterwards a lady was called in and asked us to leave immediately. Overall, the way we were treated was very unprofessional, so we will avoid the restaurant in the future.

Reservamos este restaurante para comer un domingo. 4 adultos y 1 bebé. Entramos, nadie nos saludó. Después de unos minutos nos mostraron la mesa, que estaba un poco apretada, y amablemente preguntamos si era posible tener una mesa más grande y una silla de bebé para nuestro bebé. No hablamos alemán y le preguntamos al camarero si podía hablar inglés. Él estaba súper molesto y nos seguía mostrando la misma mesa. Dijimos ok, ¿podemos tener una silla de bebé? Perdió la paciencia y dijo “estamos en Alemania hablamos alemán”. Estamos hablando de un restaurante en el centro de la ciudad, donde los turistas son un negocio normal. Alzó la voz y mi marido tuvo que pedirle que se calmara. Huelga decir que nos fuimos. Sin disculpas, todo el personal nos estaba mirando y nadie pensó en saltar a enmendar el mal servicio que estábamos recibiendo.

Zin in lekker Aziatisch eten? Maar dan op een fusion way, ga hier dan eten en je zult er geen spijt van hebben. Spoiler alert Sushi lovers this is place to be. Verder genoten wij van een heerlijke beef curry en een Duck Teriyaki. Ook aanrader is de starter baby spicy octopus en de popcorn shrimp salat. Het restaurant ligt centraal gelegen in de binnenstad en vanaf het station binnen 12 minuten te lopen. Parkeren in een van de parkeergarages ook op 10 minuten lopen. Tip! Reserveer om teleurstelling te voorkomen dat ze volgeboekt zijn.

Very tasty sushi 🍣 and the starter selection was also delicious (homemade Asian tapas). 😋 Rather average service (sometimes bad German) and the cramped atmosphere (rather hectic) only lead to 4 stars. But we will definitely come back again. 👍🏼

Extremely delicious every time!!! Accordingly, there are a lot of guests, but they still usually have space because of the competent staff :) The ambience is very nice, especially the curtain at the entrance makes an impression. The price is appropriate for the high quality and extensive menu. I will recommend it!

Average food, lots of show, high priced with below average service. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired if you look closely. Dusty radiators, dust mice on the floor. The condition and cleanliness of the toilets are not appropriate for the intended upscale ambience. It was also very noisy and had something of a train station hall feel to it. Unfortunately, going out for a nice meal wasn't an option.

Mass processing! After the main course you are asked to pay pretty quickly, even though the reservation would have been half an hour longer. (We were just about to order dessert!) Meat in the vegetarian dish, there was no apology or insight. At least a drink was on the house!!! Tips are given to yourself...uhhhh...okeee!!! It's a real shame because it was definitely delicious, even if the volume was unbearable. Will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

Great restaurant a little cheaper but worth every cent

We created a sushi platter and then ordered mochi for dessert - both dishes were okay, but not outstanding. The cocktails tasted better! The restaurant was very busy in the evening, so we were lucky to get a table. The atmosphere is appealing, but the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed due to the crowds, which unfortunately had an impact on the service. Tip: Better dine in instead of delivery, you can taste the difference!

The service still has room for improvement, we 7 people were unfortunately only acknowledged after three requests...the food came quickly and was consistently good. Second chance? I think so...

Super Essen, Tolles Ambiente Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Waren zum ersten Mal da, aber nicht das letzte Mal. Sehr zu empfehlen. Die Reise aus NRW hat sich gelohnt.

The food was good. Had mostly sushi, starters and also a few other main courses. Everyone was happy so far. The service was normal, neither noticeably friendly nor bad. Unfortunately, the acoustics are almost unbearable. It's terribly loud, making normal conversation tiring and almost impossible. Would probably come again in the summer when you can sit outside and not have the noise level inside. (Visit on Saturday evening at 8 p.m.)

The taste is very bland and the crispy bone-in chicken meat is not edible. As I know from other Asian restaurants, I was missing Thai basil and lemongrass for the taste...unfortunately I can't recommend it.

We sat upstairs, the noise was brutal (+ music), there was no entertainment. With tuna sushi you had to look for the fish with a magnifying glass - only cucumber and rice, otherwise the whole thing was tasteless. The other sushi wasn't any better. Paid €100, outrageous. It's better not to use dry ice fog, but invest in food...
