The reservation worked perfectly. The atmosphere was very modern and stylish. Even the table layout was well done. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Everything is very well coordinated, so we received food and drinks very quickly. Really great taste!

We made a reservation, but we weren't told on the phone that there was a private event taking place in the restaurant and that (if it rained) you could only sit outside. Unfortunately the prices were increased again. In addition, food was brought to the table three times that didn't belong to us. All in all, it has deteriorated considerably and unfortunately our last visit.

Actually, no dogs are allowed in the restaurant, but since there were a lot of wasps outside, the friendly waiter told us that we should come into the restaurant with our dog. I found that very nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty and wholesome. The atmosphere was cozy and the chairs were very comfortable. And at 67.00 euros for 3 people a good price-performance ratio. So all in all, highly recommended

I can definitely recommend Kokono Restaurant. I find the quality of the food to be consistently very good. The service is also great. For example, we were informed about the spiciness of the soups because we were there with children.

Most delicious food. Some of the best sushi in town. The soups are awesome. Our problem, hence only 2 stars service: We pre-ordered for pickup for our little daughter's birthday. When we arrived at the appointment with the reservation number, our order was suddenly no longer there and was known. It was as if we hadn't called at all. Being able to prove everything with your cell phone... insight, well Then we had to wait 30 minutes for the new order... The party at home endured :-) Even if it was annoying. There was no small apology either...that could be much better. Ambience OK, chic, everything clean, but without air conditioning too warm inside on very warm days, therefore only 4 stars. Which is absolutely incomprehensible and annoying, Collections cannot be paid for by card. In the restaurant only from a minimum amount. We live digitalization... not really with cash?!

For the money I would definitely have expected better quality. In addition, the service was anything but satisfactory. Our request as to whether we could change seats was responded to, but we had to laboriously bring the plates and everything there ourselves. The help and support of the staff left a lot to be desired. Overall, there are many better and cheaper Asian restaurants in the area that offer much more.

Food was super tasty, location is nicely decorated. Service is also super nice, but unfortunately we had to wait quite a long time several times for the waitress to come to the table. But there was also something going on. Now the most negative point of all. We had our dishes packed (curry with salmon, another dish with duck). Unfortunately, the dishes were packed in one container, despite having completely different sauces. For me as a non-meat eater (only fish) it's really stupid and shouldn't happen!

A very nice Japanese restaurant right next to the Glacis Gallery in Neu-Ulm. The interior design and ambience are really nice and the service is super nice and accommodating. Both the drinks and the food are visually beautiful and taste excellent. It's definitely worth a visit if you're traveling nearby! Happy to come back :)

I really liked it there until I went back today and a staff member was cutting his fingernails behind the counter! I felt sick and got up straight away without eating or drinking anything. Absolutely NOT correct according to the hygiene rules!!!!

We were there on June 1st and there wasn't much going on, which was nice. It is beautifully decorated even with real flowers. The sushi tasted very good and everything was fresh to the fullest satisfaction. I just didn't think the platter of sushi was that nice. Service was friendly. Gladly again

On Sunday evening in Neu-Ulm, in the summery weather, my wife and I felt like sitting comfortably outdoors and enjoying a refreshing white wine spritzer. Well, 2 dl of white wine spritzer costs a whopping EUR 7.80 in this definitely good, but by no means above-average, or first-class, let alone uniquely beautifully located restaurant. For comparison: Restaurant Zur Lochmühle Ulm, 0.25 L, 4.50 EUR, Cafe Extrablatt Ulm 0.2 L 4.95 EUR, Restaurant zur Zill Ulm 0.2 L 3.90 EUR, etc. With all due respect, EUR 7.80 for 0.2 liters of wine spritzer is more than outrageous, it is simply stolen.

Incredibly bad service and unfriendly staff. The waiters constantly forget what you tell them when ordering, even though they write everything down. Then the wrong food is delivered. Empty drinks are sometimes left on the table until the end. Nobody comes and asks if you want to go again. You can eat the food but with this staff you don't want to go there anymore.

Good Asian food. Atmosphere is nice. For me personally, the atmosphere is more like a rock bar/Irish pub, of course it's everyone's taste.

We order pick-up here quite often - the salmon salad is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten! Plus the edamame spicy/sour... a poem 😊 Nowhere else in the area can you get such a great piece of salmon as here. Absolute recommendation!

2 years ago the food was above average and we enjoyed going there often. Unfortunately, it has deteriorated significantly over time. The service is now also underground. We used to be welcome guests with our dog, but unfortunately that has also changed. This also ends the Kokono chapter. Fortunately, there are now plenty of good alternatives where all family members are welcome guests.

Very tasty sushi. However, you can expect that with an order of just over €100 there will be more than four small soy sauce tubes. When we pointed this out to the employee and wanted more soy sauce, the employee wanted to charge an extra charge. That doesn't work at all.

I was very excited about our evening at Kokono because we only ever heard positive things. Unfortunately I cannot confirm this. I had reserved and we got our table quite quickly and it was immediately pointed out that the 2 hour time would be. The tables are quite narrow and there are a lot of them. Of course it is also very loud. When we ordered our food and I didn't want the tofu in my order (I just don't like tofu and as a vegan you just have to see what you can eat), the waiter said something that he probably thought was funny. When I asked for some more vegetables instead of the tofu (which is no problem at all in other restaurants) the only answer was that he wouldn't cook the food. What can I say? It came without tofu and without more vegetables. (I've worked as a waitress myself and this wouldn't have happened for me.) The food was good, but unfortunately I wasn't full. It was difficult to reorder anything because of the time pressure. My friends' food looked very appealing and they said it was delicious. 10 minutes before the end of the 2 hours he came and pointed out to us that we would have to pay soon. We thought it was a shame because there were still tables available. We didn't understand why people were so stressed. We then went somewhere else without any time pressure. I don't know yet whether I'll go there again. My rating probably doesn't matter much because it's a well-run restaurant, but you should still think about a few things.

My husband and I had a very poor dining experience at this restaurant. We found something resembling hair in my drink, so we called over our Asian waiter to explain the situation. The waiter showed no basic respect for customers; I received no apology and obviously he didn’t look into the drink carefully. Instead, he stirred the drink himself and asked me to find the hair again. It was a hard situation. He shouldn’t stirred the drink because it was full of crushed ice, it was easy for the hair to be hidden. After I finally found it again, he claimed it was just ice and ignored us. When we called him over again to express our certainty about the hair, he brought a plate and told us to pour out the entire bottle of drink. He said if there was no hair, we'd have to pay for two drinks, which was an unreasonable demand and made us angry. Eventually, my husband had to pour out the drink, and the hair was clearly visible, but the waiter quickly took the evidence away. Our subsequent communication was also unpleasant. When we tried to speak to the manager, we were told he or she was not there. Feeling disrespected and disregarded multiple times, we hoped for an apology from the waiter, but his attitude left us feeling brushed off. Although the drink was eventually comped, his insincere apology requested by us during payment had no positive effect. What’s more important, he walked off without finishing the conversation. Ignoring again. The restaurant's staff tried to convince us they were right, but their unfriendly confirmation approach hurt our feelings. This waiter's unreasonable arrogance was something I had never experienced before. Therefore, I highly recommend against this restaurant.

Very good food! We were passing through and wanted to go out to eat immediately at 5 p.m. because we were traveling with a baby. We got a place straight away. A little tight with a stroller as you might disturb the people sitting next to you at the table, but doable.

Great food, visually excellently prepared and a nice ambience. What might be a bit annoying is that the tables are relatively close together, meaning there are a lot of tables per square meter. But I wouldn't see that as a criticism but as an attempt to give this very good food to as many people as possible. But we were always there shortly after opening at 5 p.m. and it wasn't full.

The service was good, the staff was friendly. The atmosphere cozy. The colors and the way the fish was cut looked really fresh. The sushi menu had a good selection and the quality of the fish was really great, even if the prices were a bit higher. The Pho soup was flavorful and the meat was tender and deliciously seasoned. Overall, I can recommend the Kokono.

There were two of us eating out, we really stuffed ourselves and spent €60 without drinks. The food wasn't bad, but unfortunately I had diarrhea shortly afterwards and had to throw up. At some point only brown liquid came out of my butt hole. That sounds a lot like food poisoning. It's a shame because the food actually tasted good, but we both got food poisoning from it. In addition, you cannot pay by card. I mean, where can't you pay with a card these days? Do you want to launder your money or why only pay in cash? Service was OK.

Were there for lunch. 3 out of 6 still had no food after 1 hour. The restaurant was busy but not full. There was chicken in the vegetarian soup and the waitress commented that my colleague could eat it. Not recommended for lunch

We reserved, got a table pretty quickly. Staff friendly and accommodating. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. The general atmosphere is very nice. The food came very quickly and was really beautifully prepared, a real highlight. Quality of the food was very good, everything was very fresh and really tasty. We took a platter for 2 people, if you don't like all things fish, I wouldn't recommend it, otherwise really great, lots of choice, also on the menu. Dessert was also very good. Price performance is really great and a clear recommendation for sushi lovers! Parking spaces were just around the corner in the parking garage. It was very crowded but still comfortable to sit.

The Konono invites you with its elegant, minimalist decor, very stylish and pleasant. When it's full (and it soon will be, Konono is popular) the restaurant is relatively noisy. Staff is experienced and friendly, attention varies depending on the person. Toilets are clean, well maintained.

Waren gestern dort essen mit unserem Baby und die Bedienung war extrem zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Er hat immer wieder gefragt ob alles ok sei und ob er die Musik leiser machen soll wegen dem Baby. Das Essen war wie immer super lecker und es gibt keine langen Wartezeiten. Alles geht flott. Jederzeit wieder 😍

Sehr schönes Ambiente vor Ort, tolle Auswahl in der Speise- und Getränkekarte zu angemessenen Preisen. Viel vegetarische Auswahl. Bestellung zum Mitnehmen war nach ca. 10 Minuten fertig - 10% Selbstabholerrabatt. Geschmacklich gut, aber leider sehr fettig/ölig und etwas scharf (was nicht in der Karte vermerkt war).

Essen war wirklich sehr gut, Ambiente war auch sehr schön und die Bedienungen war super freundlich. Die Karte ist sehr groß, deswegen kommen wir nochmal um uns nochmal etwas durchzuprobieren. Die Entenbrust war rosa gebraten, mein Rindfleisch war zart und saftig. Das ganze essen war sehr gut gewürzt. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch 😊

The food was of course great, for that I give more than 5 stars if I could. But what I don't like is the timed entry and exit. I mean going out for dinner is not that inexpensive anymore. The more it matters that I enjoy the time I spend for dinner. But here I had a feeling the waiter was not checking on us to make sure we have everything but rather that we get kicked out in a timely manner for the next reservation that makes $$$$$. Our plates were actually not empty but they kept asking us if we were done and at some point it only got annoying. And at the end they in a nicer manner told us it's time to pay and leave. But I have to point out that the food was very delicious just the service and the way they handle the bookings is not professional.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und das Personal wirklich nett. Das Essen schmeckt richtig gut und liegt preislich genau so wie bei der Konkurrenz. Das einzige was wir und noch wünschen würden wären die steamed dumplings mir Garnele drin. Dann wären wir wunschlos glücklich.

La comida es increible. Los diseños del Menu son muy malos (solo blanco y negro), no facilitan ordenar. Los meseros te crean un estres increible al levantar tu orden. Todo el tiempo te sientes presionado, podrian mejorar su servicio porque todo lo demas es increible

Mittags gibts ein gesondertes Mittagsmenü. Der Service war super nett, freundlich, hilfsbereit und bemüht. Das Essen uns Trinken war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Für Kinder gibt es Hochstühle und eine Kinderkarte. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Lage direkt beim Bahnhof, Busbahnhof und der Glacis Galerie ist auch super.
