Köhlerstuben in Hemhofen

Good Greek restaurant with fair prices and a very friendly host. Discovered through a roundabout tip, we were very impressed and pleasantly surprised by how delicious and solid Greek cuisine can be at the Köhlerstuben. The fish platter (with plenty of seafood cooked to perfection) was very tasty and highly recommended, as were the stuffed souvlaki with a distinct grilled aroma. The appetizers are also very tasty, especially the garlic bread with a hint of grilled flavor and fresh tomatoes. Only the (side) salad is a bit monotonous, as it consists only of green salad. It lacked the typical coleslaw or at least some "pepper" in the form of cucumbers or tomatoes. The very sweet dressing wasn't our cup of tea either, but according to the host, you can also choose oil and vinegar as an alternative, which we will do next time. In any case, the rich potential of Greece wasn't even remotely utilized here. The ambiance is a mix of rustic Franconian style paired with some Mediterranean Greek influences – a truly unique atmosphere. Definitely a great addition to Zeckern and Hemhofen, and highly recommended even for those traveling from a little further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will certainly visit the Köhlerstuben again soon.

Delicious, we'd love to come back

After a few months, I finally went to my favorite Greek restaurant again. It just tastes amazing, again and again. Unfortunately it was relatively empty - I didn't know any other empty tables on the weekend

I ate there for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere was really pleasant, and the staff was just as friendly. Unfortunately, the starter salad was a bit disappointing as it was just simple lettuce leaves with a vinegar dressing. a few cucumbers/carrots/etc. would have been desirable, but it still tasted good. For the main course I had the pork fillet in Metaxa sauce, which was really to die for. the meat was incredibly tender. As a side dish I had fries which also tasted excellent. would come again and again for this

Food was good and plentiful... I find the "stuben" very dark... and what is unfortunately no longer possible these days is to say on site that you can only pay in cash

We've been there several times but only because of the food because it's ok. He himself becomes unfriendly as always. We were there with a small child and an older one. We didn't get a high chair or we didn't see one there. Children are not welcome there. No question as to whether anything else is needed or the same. The rice wasn't cooked through, otherwise the food was ok. Rooms dark. There is no Greek flair here. And if you, as a host, are known for your unfriendliness, you should be concerned. A smile doesn't hurt anyone when eating out is a luxury and you want to get paid for it.

We got a place with 5 people, but almost everything was reserved, so it's better to reserve in advance. Despite the rain, the drinks and food came very quickly. The portions are really sufficient and the taste is also very good. It certainly wasn't the last time we ate here.

We ordered food and are now quite “surprised” at home. We were a bit surprised about the price when paying, but thought "well, prices are going up everywhere"...but now we looked on the homepage and found that they were simply asking for €6 more...and that was it Unfortunately the rice didn't go through either... we are now very disappointed and won't be eating there again... it's a shame...

Very nice, even though there was little space, the landlord made the best of it and managed it for 4 people without a reservation. Tasty food and normal prices.

Great food, nice service, everything was great

The restaurant is adjacent to the football field and is also a clubhouse, so to speak, but the atmosphere is nice, the terrace is airy and pleasant in the evenings (in July). The food is beautifully presented and large portions. The salad has a rather sweet dressing, which didn't suit my personal taste and unfortunately the rice was also very dry, but the calamari was awesome (and a lot).. my friends always rave about the steaks too.. so I tried it it out!

We were 5 adults and two children aged 2.5 and 4 years. Of course, the children didn't stay seated for long and ran back and forth on the bench to the adults (children didn't have shoes on!) We kept the older one busy with his cell phone. The host apparently didn't like the behavior. He also noted this. We were served quickly so that we could leave quickly, which unfortunately struck us as very negative. We do not recommend that anyone with small children go there if they cannot sit still. Regarding the food, it's just Tk goods, so nothing special. Definitely won't go there again.

My rating is based solely on the pick-up service: - No card payment possible (unfortunately this is not advertised on the homepage, on site or in the menu). Unfortunately, when I asked to note this somewhere for future guests, I received a very rude reply from the operator - Very small portions for 14+€ - Highest quality advertising on the homepage. In my opinion that's not the case - Long waiting time on site

The food was very good...the host could have seemed a little friendlier...I found the beer drinkers at the regulars' table a little annoying...who imposed their conversations on you while you were eating

Great host, very good food, good value for money, a bit of a sports home from the 80s. But good, there is a nice view of well-kept lawn!

Wenn es nicht ein Sportlerheim wäre, wäre es noch schöner. Das Interieur ist schon in Ordnung und die Qualität von Service und Essen hervorragend. Der Wirt sorgt sich persönlich um jeden Gast und geht auch auf Sonderwünsche gerne ein. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Klasse. Waren zum Abendessen vor Ort. Hatten einen Tisch reserviert. Ist Teil des Sportvereines/-geländes, wirkt zumindest so. Gemütliche Gaststätte mit griechischem Angebot. Bedient wurde man vom Besitzer und zwar nett, freundlich und schnell. Getränke kamen flott, Essen auch. Typisch griechisch. Viel. Lecker. Und gut gewürzt! Auch die Kids haben was auf der Karte gefunden. Rundum eine Angebot wo Preis-Leistung super stimmen! Vor der Türe gibt es genügend Parkplätze! Einziges Manko, die Kartenzahlung wurde uns verwehrt. Da ist Bargeld noch viel mehr wert! Empfehlung meinerseits!

Wir waren letzte Woche zusammen mit meinem Onkel (der auf einen Rollator angewiesen ist) und meiner Tante hier essen. Schon beim Betreten des lokales wurden wir auf unfreundliche Weise gefragt wie lange wir denn bleiben, denn er hat für sowas (den Rollator meines Onkels) keinen Platz, da er noch eine größere Gesellschaft erwarte. Wir setzten uns dann, etwas verunsichert, auch gleich in den Außenbereich damit die Fahrt für meinen Onkel(für ihn sind leider mittlerweile auch kurze Autofahrten sehr beschwerlich) nicht umsonst war. Das Essen war nicht schlecht aber auch nicht besonders gut, eher durchschnittliches Mittelmaß. Leider merkte man das man uns direkt nach dem Essen wieder loswerden wollte da direkt beim abräumen gefragt wurde ob man zahlen wollte. Doch wir wollten den Abend gemütlich ausklingen lassen (und auch aus Interesse die „größere Gesellschaft“ abwarten). Als wir um 20:30 dann zahlten waren außer eine Hand voll weiterer Gäste niemand mehr im Lokal keine „größere Gesellschaft“. Leider aufgrund dieser unfreundlichen Art das erste und das letzte mal für uns.

Das Essen war gut , der Suvlaki Spieß war etwas trocken , die Leber und das Gyros dafür sehr gut. Der Salat ist etwas einfach gestalltet und bestand ausschließlich aus Friseesalat.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und waren rundum zufrieden. So gut haben wir schon lange nicht mehr griechisch gegessen. Wir hatten Gyros Kalamari extra Bauern Salat und Tsazik. Gyros auf dem Punkt, Kalamari super zart, Salat geschmacklich toll und es gibt tatsächlich Feta im Salat. Sehr gut. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit gerne wieder. Vielen dank👍

Essen war sehr lecker. Lediglich der Salat war seeeehr süß. Allerdings wurde mir als ich das beim Zahlen erwähnt habe, gesagt dass das kein Problem ist. Das nächste Mal einfach vorher sagen, dann wird er mit Essig Öl Dressing und nicht so süß serviert. Super Service und sehr nett.

Gute Küche mit griechischen Inhaber

Das Essen war gut, die weibliche Bedienung freundlich. Der Chef hingegen nicht, man kam sich vor wie ein Störfaktor. Es wurde nicht gefragt ob man noch etwas zu trinken haben möchte oder noch etwas anderes. Aber die Krönung war das man hinauskomplimentiert wurde mit dem Spruch: ihr könnt ja schon zahlen. Nein eigentlich wollten wir einen netten Abend dort verbringen noch etwas verzehren, aber gut dann nicht. Schade

Das Essen super lecker, große Portionen. Die Preise angemessen. Der Chef und die Bedienung kümmern sich sehr um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste. Komme immer wieder sehr gerne....

Es ist ein Sportheim mit Gaststätte im 1. Stock. Wir waren im Nebenzimmer im Erdgeschoß gleich neben dem Eingang. Hat alles gepasst.

Das ist einer der Sternstunden meines Lebens auf dem Land. Super Portionen - beste Qualität der Gerichte und trotzdem bodenständige Preise. Oben drauf ein top Service. Unsere Getränke waren in weniger als zwei Minuten auf dem Tisch. Und weil die Gastgeber sich bemüht haben merkt man nicht das es ein Sportheim ist. #danke und ich komme wieder.

Alles super .Dies ist das beste griechische Restaurant in der Gegend, ich kann es jedem empfehlen, weil es wirklich einen Besuch wert ist 👍.
