I have to admit - it just opened and with 21 reviews, all 5 stars... well, something's not right. I was really wrong. All I can say is that every star is deserved for great food, very friendly service, and, yes, very comfortable chairs. 😁 The only thing to complain about is the truly terrible selection of pictures on the wall. 2025 - I still love being here. Especially now during the construction period on Wellingsbütteler Landstraße, it's important to support gems like Kobe. The quality has remained consistently good over the years.

Wow, simply amazing: The sushi melts in your mouth (top value for money!), and the team is warm and attentive. You can sit comfortably both inside and outside. We had a wonderful afternoon at Kobe Nord and would love to come back soon :) (Due to construction work, getting there by car is currently very difficult. But you can easily get there by U1 (Klein Borstel), or you can combine your visit with a wonderful walk through the Alstertal valley. Either way - the trip is worth it!)

I ordered lunch there for the first time with my work colleagues a few days ago, and there was plenty of choice. The food is fresh and delicious. Plus, the portions are designed to be truly filling, but also not give you a stomach ache. Truly delicious and highly recommended!

Shortly after our food arrived, we checked if the owners had changed. The look of the food was different , the portion size grown way too big, and the taste lacking, overly soy and no other flavours to be found anywhere. Ingredients seemed to have been old or last choice. We had ordered many times before and it was always upper average food, this time was clearly below average. Don’t think I will order again. For 80 euros I should be able to expect something decent.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Kobe Nord a month ago, and I’m still thinking about it! The sushi? Incredible. Every bite was packed with fresh, bold flavors and beautifully presented. It’s clear the chefs take pride in their craft. The fish was fresh, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and the variety of rolls was impressive! They really pay attention to detail, and you can taste the quality in every dish. The wasabi was just the right level of kick. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, with big smiles and a genuine warmt. Service was top-notch—quick, attentive, clean and not overly intrusive. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a top-tier sushi experience. I’ll definitely be back soon.

I've known this restaurant since the beginning through family and friends, and I'm always impressed, whether I've eaten in, had it delivered, or picked it up. The sushi is incredibly fresh, and you get to see it being prepared, as the kitchen is centrally located in the restaurant. Besides sushi, they also serve hot Asian dishes. The crispy duck in various variations is particularly delicious here. The owners and staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and you can tell they're passionate about what they do. Both the dining area and the restrooms are clean. The interior is lovingly and comfortably designed. Thank you so much for your great service and the delicious food! Delicious food at reasonable prices. The interior could certainly use some improvements. A picture of an Italian lake doesn't fit in a Japanese/Asian restaurant. Otherwise, it didn't have enough Japanese flair for me. What sticks with me, though, is the delicious food and the friendly service. We'll be back.

Not a restaurant I'd recommend for a couples' night out. I was there for a team event. It's suitable for that. I can't really say anything bad, but nothing outstanding either. Maybe just give it a try. From what I've heard, everyone I've been there with has a very similar opinion. But every team event is different and individual.

Last week, my friends and I went to Kobe for dinner next to the Klein Borstel subway station, and it was truly fantastic. I was surprised by the quality of the food and the hospitality. My friend didn't have enough money, so they gave her something as a gift out of pure kindness. A truly fantastic restaurant. Highly recommended!

For me, this is the best sushi in Hamburg. And at extremely fair prices. The restaurant is located right next to the U1 (Klein Borstel) and the Alster hiking trail. There's currently a construction site in front of the door, but sitting outside is very quiet and pleasant due to the lack of traffic.

We had a sushi platter for two. It was absolutely delicious. We've rarely had such good sushi. We'll definitely be back.

Im Kobe Nord gibt es hervorragend schön angerichtete, und gleichzeitig leckere Sushiplatten, wer auf warme Speise, bspw. Thai Curry steht, wird hier ebenfalls sehr gut gesättigt! Auch auf individuelle Wünsche, bpsw. Thai Curry grün vegetarisch ohne Tofu wird ohne zu murren eingegangen. Einfach nett und lecker!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. The staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious. But on two visits, we waited more than an hour for our food once, and almost two hours the second time! That's unacceptable, especially if you've come to the restaurant specifically. Even the 4/5 star sushi rating doesn't help. -1 star, because there's too much sauce in/on the sushi; a cleaner version would be better.

I ate there with my family. The food was delicious. We had sushi and fried noodles. The staff was really friendly, accommodating, and patient. The only drawback might be that you can't always understand the staff, but they more than make up for it with their friendliness. The sushi was beautifully presented and, with the various toppings, appealing and delicious. My children also really enjoyed the fried noodles. The prices are good and reasonable. We'll be happy to come back!

Highly recommended! The sushi is excellent! Everything is very fresh and exceptionally attractively presented. We always go to Kobe North when we have business at the airport! It's really just a stone's throw from the airport. Even though there's currently construction going on on Wellingsbüttler Landstraße, you can easily walk the few meters to the restaurant. Occasionally, we even drive to Kobe North (even though we live 70 km away) to enjoy the good food (and the friendly staff!)! The restaurant is also very easy to reach by public transport – the train station stops less than 50 meters away! We love Kobe North and can only recommend everyone to try it!

Today we had various dishes “to go”. Everything tasted excellent and was nicely arranged. Price/performance is great! The only criticism is that the rolls were so loosely wrapped that they immediately fell apart when eating with chopsticks. And I'm actually not that clumsy with chopsticks... But we will definitely order there more often!

How it can get so many stars is exciting. It's freezing cold in the restaurant, they pushed an electric heater to our table and we sat inside with our jackets on. The chopsticks at the table were partly dirty. The food took a while but tasted quite good. 16 hours later my sister is now hanging over the toilet with food poisoning and puking. The raw tuna in her bowl was probably no longer edible.

Fantastic sushi experience at KOBE NORD! I was recently at Kobe Nord and absolutely loved it. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, with a huge selection of different rolls and nigiri. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the fish - it was tender, juicy and simply cooked to perfection. An absolute highlight was the beef teriyaki. The meat was buttery tender and the sauce had a wonderful sweetness and spice. It was one of the best teriyaki dishes I've ever tasted. The service was also excellent. The service was friendly, attentive and gave us very good advice when choosing the dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and inviting, you immediately feel at home. I can only warmly recommend the Kobe Nord Restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

An enrichment for our district right from the start! Finally a good restaurant again in this location. Also because of the initial explanation from the clientele 😉 the store got off to a very good start. And has had many regular guests since then, like us. The sweet and sour duck, for example, is really good and the sauce is much fresher than you are used to. The sushi, even the expensive version, was a nice adventure that was worth the money. We remain loyal to you. And we look forward to your smile 😚

A stylish restaurant with Japanese cuisine, a good selection on the menu, including vegetarian options, the service staff are friendly and knowledgeable (we now know, among other things, what panko is ;)). It was very quiet outside, which is due to the large construction site on Wellingsbütteler Straße (hardly any construction noise today and no traffic due to the construction site, it will stay that way for a very long time), inside it looks well maintained. We had to wait quite a while for the food, but it was super fresh and attractively prepared, wonderful! The lassi was also delicious. We'd love to come back there.

It was our first - but certainly not the last - time in Kobe Nord. A very friendly, attentive and courteous service. The ambience was very nice, the furnishings were very cozy and tasteful. The food was wonderful, not greasy and oily, but perfectly balanced. Even the duck I had was amazing. In terms of price, everything was within reasonable limits, and absolutely fair for the quality that we got in the overall package of service, ambience and food. The next visit is already planned. Many thanks to our waitress for the very nice small talk at our table and also to the chef for the small but very tasty greeting from the kitchen.
