Klosterstüberl in Fürstenfeldbruck

Everything was great, the service was very professional and cheerful, and the classic Bavarian cuisine was fantastic. I'd love to come back.

I visited the Klosterstuben Fürstenfeldbruck restaurant with a large group shortly before Christmas. The service was very friendly, but I think it's simply too much to pay almost €20 for Käsespätzle without salad!

Once again, a very pleasant stay with excellent food. At our table, we were served by a super friendly and efficient waiter named Filip (although all the staff are like that, of course), in a lovely atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, even for lunch. It's also worth mentioning that I've seen many of the staff members regularly for a long time, which speaks volumes about the positive work environment.

A very nice atmosphere and very good food. I was only slightly disappointed with the desserts; they tasted good, but not exceptional. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Correction to my previous review. The Klosterstüberl offers excellent service and truly goes out of its way to satisfy its guests. The food and drinks on offer are simply superb in terms of price, variety, quantity, and quality. Anyone wanting to eat here should definitely make a reservation, as it's always busy due to its popularity – no wonder! 😊👍 I always enjoy coming back! 👍

From the initial welcome to the final farewell, a very pleasant stay. Very friendly staff, fresh goose and fresh roast pork – both tasted excellent. We will gladly return. Highly recommended.

Not only does it offer hot meals, but it's also highly recommended for afternoon coffee. A charming garden invites you to linger and enjoy. A mug of coffee and one of the 10 homemade cream puffs will satisfy even the most discerning gourmet. A visit to the Klosterstüberl in Fürstenfeldbruck is enough to recreate that holiday feeling.

I reserved a table for a larger group for my birthday, and I've rarely been treated with such care and attention. On the day of the reservation, I received a call to confirm that everyone was still present and to discuss the seating arrangements. At the restaurant, I was warmly welcomed and offered my congratulations. The table was beautifully set and decorated. After the first order was placed, the lights were turned off, and the entire team came over with a sparkler to congratulate me and sing me a birthday song. I was also offered a complimentary aperitif. The food was absolutely perfect for all of us, from the main courses to the desserts. The service was incredibly excellent. Thank you so much for this fantastic birthday experience!

It's so sad that I can only give 5 stars for the service! I've worked in the hotel industry and other service professions myself, and I've either never experienced such perfect service before: friendly, empathetic, efficient, knowledgeable—did I mention friendly? I wouldn't have cared what was on the menu if I could just sit there and enjoy the attentive service of Jeannette (not sure if that was her name). Anything on the menu was adapted, special requests were handled with a smile, and even though we were definitely there on a particularly busy day, we never felt it. And that goes for every single employee. So I'm guessing: great boss! The place was lovingly decorated down to the last detail, and I was especially impressed by the restrooms: everything was there, from toothpicks and floss to a soap scum trap. Did the food taste good? Absolutely! We didn't take pictures of the cream puffs, unfortunately, because we devoured them right away, because: that's how choux pastry should be!

Both the main courses and the desserts were absolutely delicious. The service was also excellent and very attentive throughout the entire evening. I would gladly return anytime. Thank you!

It's so lovely here🤩, so beautifully rustic and cozy. It really makes you feel at home. The food was delicious. And I can only agree with what my predecessors have said about the very friendly service. A great overall package, because they understand what you want when you say you're going out for a delicious meal today.

If you're looking for good Bavarian cuisine, attentive and friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere, and a traditional inn setting, this is the place for you! The ox cheeks with bread dumplings and fresh root vegetables and the delicacy plate with duck leg, roast pork, red cabbage, and potato dumplings were perfect. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We'll be happy to come back!

The German dishes are well done—hearty, comforting, no gimmicks. Prices feel fair for the quality and setting. Staff are friendly and genuine, which makes the experience even more pleasant. If you’re wandering through Fürstenfeldbruck, this is a perfect spot to rest, eat, and soak up local flavor.

Six of us had a reservation in the beer garden and received very courteous service. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The drinks, especially the wine spritzer, were wonderfully chilled for the summer temperatures. There was something truly delicious for every taste (including vegetarian options) – we'd love to go back!

Highly recommended: good and delicious Bavarian cuisine. Very child-friendly: they provide crayons, coloring sheets, and kids' meals. They even sang to my son as they left, saying we were there for his birthday.

A great place to linger, for lunch or dinner. The prices aren't cheap, which is to be expected, but the quality and service are very good. We'd be happy to return!

A solid A+ throughout with ⭐️ We haven't experienced such great service in a long time! We are simply thrilled 🤩 Fifteen of us celebrated my aunt's 60th birthday; everyone got their food at the same time within 2 minutes. The wait was incredibly short, and the food was absolutely amazing! We got a second helping of sauce without being asked! Where else can you find that?! My 1.5-year-old was also well looked after! Pens, plastic cutlery, and plates, a changing table in every bathroom 🚼, and diapers are also provided. The kids' menu is also great 👍🏻 This was definitely not our last visit! I had an excellent roast pork, and my wife had the spinach and cheese spaetzle, which was also very good. The staff were very friendly and personable. I highly recommend it!

Simply tasteless, good Bavarian cuisine with small delicacies like venison liver and rösti today. A very cozy, varied dining room. We just managed to get a table, so reservations are recommended. It's nice that the tables have cards with the waiter's name on them, which makes it feel much more personal. A pleasant, quiet atmosphere, where you can even have a conversation. The cream puffs are huge; I'll have to come back for those! I'd love to...

We went for dinner, the atmosphere was great, and the food was really good. But I really can't recommend it for people with celiac disease. We had spoken to the waitress beforehand about my celiac disease and that I needed the allergy card. She finally gave it to me. After dinner, we ordered another cocktail, which arrived. What I didn't realize—and the waitress didn't tell me, even though she knew about my situation—was that the straw was actually a noodle with gluten. I thought it was glass or plastic, drank out of it, and was contaminated. When I told the waitress, she just said, "Ahhh, right, I didn't think of that either." So: The restaurant is really good, but not for people with celiac disease.

We've been guests at the Klosterstüberl for almost three decades. It all started with our daughter's baptism, and in the years that followed, we regularly ate there with relatives for my birthday. This time, we were truly disappointed with our "Fürstenfelder" salad, compared to all the years before. Besides the meat, mushrooms, and the Reiberdatschi (a kind of German fried potato), there was just a lot of green salad with cucumber and lots of bell peppers. When we mentioned it to the waiter at the checkout, he came back shortly after and confirmed that there were other salads. According to the manager, it was a "mistake" in the kitchen. But we should have mentioned that right away... Otherwise, no reaction at all. Furthermore, the portions of veal shank and roast pork were quite small, even though we hadn't ordered a senior citizen's portion. And the prices (e.g., oxtail salad) were significantly higher than in previous years. There's only one conclusion for us: We won't eat there again. There are many other good Bavarian restaurants.

We love it there. Going once every two months and we were never disappointed.

The service is really great and the food is delicious, but what I saw in the women's restroom was a bit horrifying (see picture). Women suffer from this every day and should be truly afraid of things like this in public restrooms. I find it quite inappropriate...

The restaurant and the large 🌳🍺 🥨 beer garden are ideal for a cozy stop after visiting the very picturesque former monastery church. Please note that the church's security gate is only unlocked at 🕚 11 a.m. on weekdays. The menu is quite varied, so there should be something for everyone! However, we arrived in the evening after a strenuous training seminar when a rain shower surprised us, so we quickly decided to order a 🍹 🍺 drink and wait it out under one of the large ⛱ umbrellas. The Mühlbach stream rushed along the side, creating a romantic backdrop. 😄 The entire staff was very friendly and efficient, even though every seat in the restaurant was taken. 👍 All in all, a wonderful memory!

Above-average service, delicious food at fair prices. We come regularly with a small group; the service is impressive; they've long since remembered our favorite drink. We'll be back...and again...and again...

No frills, just honest Bavarian cuisine. Our seat outside under the old trees, with a view of the monastery – perfect. A place you'll remember. And yes – dog-friendly.

The food was outstanding. It was also quite quick. The service was very friendly. However, on a Friday evening, it was really crowded and therefore quite loud.

Great Restaurant, the food was great, I had Schweinebraten and it was the best I ever ate in Munich. The restaurant and the service personnel are very child friendly, they have kids menu, extra chairs for children, sheets for children to color and crayons for children. A dream for parents.

Wir sind hier immer gerne zu Besuch. Aber leider musste ich feststellen, das der Service sehr nachgelassen hat... Am Eingang wurden wir schon skeptisch empfangen, wohl angesichts der späten Zeit, die wir online noch reservieren konnten. Gerne hätten wir auch einen früheren Termin gebucht, denn das Lokal war bereits zur Hälfte leer, als wir ankamen. Die Bestellung wurde aufgenommen und landete umgehend auf unserem Tisch. Aber das fehlende Geschirr für Essen und Trinken ließ noch länger auf sich warten. Der Service war wohl schon sichtlich erschöpft nach einem anstrengenden Tag. Da ich aber gegen Ende der Öffnungszeit auch noch den vollen Preis zahlen muss ;), hätte ich hier einfach noch ein bisschen Aufmerksamkeit und Service dem Gast gegenüber erwartet. Ich wünsche dem Klosterstüberl alles Gute...

We are from Munich and have been visiting this place for years. We sit directly on the canal and opposite you can see the shady beer garden. The waiter is very friendly and competent, the food is good and the weather is nice, what more could you want!

We came here spontaneously and got a place by chance. It's best to reserve here in advance. Because it can get very crowded at certain times. The waitress we had was very friendly, you are warmly greeted at the entrance. The food is typical German home cooking and came quite quickly. I hope I can eat one of the famous cream puffs next time.

After an 11km hiking route, we stopped outside in nice weather. Ok, they couldn't do anything about the weather. But for the rest :-) ... We were served very friendly and professionally. It went quickly. We were granted a wish that wasn't even on the menu. Simply great!!! I don't often give full marks, this time 1000% necessary and absolutely recommended!

We ate in the Klosterstüberl for the second time today. Just like the first time, outstandingly friendly and committed service! I have never experienced service like the Klosterstüberl in any other restaurant. Like in a 5-star hotel ;-) Also a big compliment to the kitchen, the food was very good this time too. So nice to have you back. And what great renovation work happened there. So TOP selected new wallpapers and decorations. You were busy during the "fire break" And that's still true: I don't like the Klosterstüberl just because of its amazing cream puffs in the cozy beer garden. The rooms are also very comfortable and professionally managed with good food. The planters with the two sauces were absolutely delicious. And the Tatar days, as well as the Kaiserschmarrn Friday, were all at their best. We love going there with visitors and everyone is thrilled every time. The subsequent tour of the monastery church also impressed everyone.

The Klosterstüberl is one of the few Bavarian restaurants in the area. The food and service are excellent. But you have to know that a spontaneous visit is hardly possible, so make a reservation in advance. But that also shows how good it is there. We are always happy when it works. Here traditional Bavarian cuisine is combined with modern cuisine. See you next time.

Very quaint atmosphere. Even though it was packed, the extremely friendly waitress found a place for the three of us. The food is high quality. No matter what you take: everything looks good and tastes good too. Absolute recommendation for Fürstenfeldbruck. However, you should book a table in advance. We'll be back!
