Is it possible to have a bike with & without an E? To be parked there. And complete. You can eat & drink inside in the restaurant. As well as outside in the beer garden. In good warm weather. Is it outside in the beer garden. Fri - So it is advisable to book a table in advance. Good menu. There are 16 dishes on it. Delicious. Everything is freshly prepared. Larger drinks menu with & without alcohol. Top staff. Very clean separate toilets. Very much so recommend.

Despite continuous opening hours and nice weather last Saturday, the beer garden was not served. You could get something yourself at the counter, but that ended at half past four. In order to get something, you then had to go to the restaurant. In my opinion, there were enough service staff there - just not deployed "sensibly". An overwhelmed force who had to tap, collect and pass orders on foot to the kitchen while a handful of colleagues watched.

The Klosterhof Knechtsteden restaurant is a fairly large restaurant spread over several rooms. It offers space for many guests. Nevertheless, it seems rustic and cozy. There is also a large outdoor area in front of the restaurant. The menu includes a wide range of home-style dishes. Since we were a larger group, a lot of dishes were ordered and eaten. The opinions were all very positive. The food plates were plentiful and the price-performance ratio was reasonable. There is also a good selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes. The service is quick, attentive and friendly. The gentlemen in the group were enthusiastic about the black beer and cellar beer 😊. Since the restaurant is fully booked, especially on weekends, despite its size, you should make a reservation.

Well, it was stupid for the staff, there were 2 celebrations, a wedding and a graduation party. I was a guest at the graduation party, but the staff apparently helped me for a wedding guest. Now the incompetent bartenders were arguing about which glass the ordered beer should be in and pouring it Beer from one glass to the other..... 7 times 😑 Then the waitress came and said "it doesn't matter, they don't notice anymore, they're too drunk" everyone laughs and looks at me and the other conditions mean "not the wedding Guests we mean the drunks with the DJ" I didn't say anything, who knows what they would have done with my drinking otherwise.

We just rode our bikes here on Saturday afternoon. We've been waiting for the Klosterbräu for 45 minutes. Apparently there is a lack of staff; but what is present is not present. Never again!

We stopped there on a bike tour in the best weather. Only half of the tables were set up outside that day. But it was communicated very well that this was due to a lack of staff. 👍 So we drank and ate something inside. Food top, service top, cellar beer top top top 😎

Hier bekommt man ein 08/15-Essen. Geschmacklos, ungefähr wie Kantinenessen. Muss man nicht haben. Die Räume waren nicht geheizt, man musste schon mit Mantel und Schal während des Essens sitzen.

Super tasty food, very homely. 😋 Reasonable portions. After ordering, the food came quite quickly. As time went on, it became more crowded, so our plates were only partially cleared away, the rest were picked up after about 30 minutes. There are worse things. The monastery with gardens is worth seeing. The inn with beer garden is excellent. The whole thing was great again and always happy, just for your delicious beer.

I liked the interior and the atmosphere. The food was good but I didn't want to go twice because the choice is a bit limited. The staff were friendly. The only problem is that it closes very early, so being rushed to finish one's food, tarnishes the whole occasion, as well as a poor range of spirits. Nettes, uriges Restaurant mit leckerem Essen. Macht allerdings in der Woche schon früh zu, so dass man je nach Ankunft nicht so lange verweilen kann.

Es war sehr kalt im Restaurant. Wir (6 Personen) fühlten uns nach dem Essen sehr genötigt, etwas zu bestellen bzw. das Lokal zu verlassen, obwohl das Lokal nur 1/4 besetzt war.

Mindestens einmal im Jahr geht es zum Gänseessen in den Klosterhof!

Nettes Ausflugsziel. Gute Speisekarte, leider lange Wartezeiten. Nehmen leider zu viele Gäste an für zu wenig Personal, welches trotzdem noch sehr freundlich ist. Habe deswegen einen Stern von meiner früheren Bewertung abgezogen.

Eine kleine Brotzeit nach dem Spaziergang war angesagt. Das Brot war frisch gebacken und der Aufschnitt hatte Metzger-Qualität. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wir waren in den Reitersaal eingeladen. Der Saal an sich war gemütlich und für eine Veranstaltung mit 45 Personen ausreichend. Die Tische waren hübsch gedeckt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat alle Wünsche sowie die Bedienung schnell erfüllt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, gut gewürzt und ausreichend. Die Reste vom Buffett wurden zum Schluss der Veranstaltung in Aluschalen verpackt und mitgegeben. Kritikpunkt sind für mich die Toiletten und der Nebenraum fürs Buffett. Die Toiletten könnten mal renoviert und modernisiert werden. Der Raum fürs Buffett war nicht sauber, da hingen Spinnweben in den Ecken. Nur weisse Tischdecken als Deko waren Auch nicht wirklich dekorativ. Auch dieser Raum könnte eine Renovierung gebrauchen.

Netter Biergarten, Bedienung im Stress aber freundlich, kleine Karte - Preise O.K. - Flammkuchen war lecker.

Ich fahre gerne zum dortigen Biergarten. Man sitzt ruhig und gemütlich. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, grosse und kleine Gerichte, und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Kölsch, Pils, Altbier, Weizenbier sind im Angebot. Ich esse gerne den frisch zubereiteten Flammkuchen klassischer Art.

Essen war ok aber nichts besonderes. Der Service war gut. Innen war es schön aber zu laut und nachdem alle Tische besetzt waren war es auch zu warm

Wir waren heute im Klosterhof essen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und zügig bedient. Das Essen war super lecker und schön angerichtet. Das Steak war wie gewünscht medium und einfach nur top. Die Apfelringe mit Eis und Soße waren mega.😊 Satt wird man auf jeden Fall. Beim Personal merkt man, dass sie ihren Job sehr gerne machen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke! 😍

Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich, als ich nach einer Speisekarte nach gefragt habe wurde ich unfreundlich aufgefordert mich nach draußen zu setzen und zu warten. Pommes ohne Geschmack und die Spezi hat nicht nach spezi geschmeckt.

Das Restaurant liegt sehr gut erreichbar, in mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad. Der Biergarten vor dem Klosterhof ist groß und bietet ausreichend Platz. Das Schwarzbier kann man nur empfehlen, das Essen jedoch nicht. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis steht in keinem Verhältnis zur gebotenen Qualität. Schnitzel sind aus der Tiefkühltruhe und schmecken auch so. Das Steak schmeckt wie vom Discounter. Da sollte sich schnellstens was ändern. Beim nächsten Besuch werden wir uns nur auf das gute Schwarzbier konzentrieren und mal den Flammkuchen probieren. Vielleicht ist der ja besser, wenn man den anderen Bewertungen glauben kann. Das Personal war freundlich. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden. Sogar ein Stellplatz für Pferde ist vorhanden.

Schöner Biergarten, aber die Stühle sind unbequem. Essen ist okay aber nichts besonderes. Für Formschnitzel und Tiefkühlsteak sind die Preise nicht gerechtfertigt.

Leckerer Flammkuchen 😋 Getränke sind gut. Angemessene Preise. Personal ist OK, nicht besonders gut gelaunt. Deswegen 4 Sterne. Sonst ist das Restaurant nicht schlecht.

Hausgemachtes Bier, schöner Biergarten, einfache ehrliche Karte, toller Service , nebenan das Kloster, was will man mehr?

Bei geringem Besuchsaufkommen und schönem Wetter auf Nachfrage kein Entgegenkommen seitens des Herrn hinter der Tecke die Erlaubnis zu geben auf der großzügigen Terrasse zu sitzen.

Sehr leckeres Essen und selbst gebrautes Bier, sehr nette Bedienung Wunderschönes Ambiente.

Schöner Ausflugsort am Kloster Kletterten. Haben dort sehr lecker gegessen, leider nur drinnen, da ein Gewitter im Abmarsch war. Das Essen war super, die Bedienung freundlich, die Preise angemessen.

Wir waren Gäste einer wundervollen Hochzeit im Bullenstall des Klosterhofs. Rundum perfekt.

Wir, 3 Mädels, schon im reiferen Alter, haben uns bzgl. eines Geburtstages hier getroffen und uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, daher waren die Speisen flott ausgesucht. Alsgleich wurden wir mit Besteck bestückt, jedoch gab es keine Servietten. Das speziell Schwarzgebraute war jetzt nicht überschwänglich lecker, aber okay. Leider ließen die Salate mit marinierten gebratenen Ochsenfetzen etwas unsere gute Stimmung vermiesen. Müssen Ochsenfetzen sauer und fade sein? Der Senfrostbraten war noch ziemlich blutig, aber jetzt kein Drama. Die Bohnen waren eiskalt und nur für Fans mit Heißhunger auf ganz viel, noch mehr, Bohnenkraut. Die Bratkartoffeln waren mit der Schale gebraten und nicht schlecht. Das meiste ging, ohne Nachfrage, warum, zurück in die Küche. Aber alles in allem lohnt sich der Ausflug nach Knechtsteden zum Essen nicht. Vielleicht mal im Garten auf ein Bier. Schade!

Ambiente war toll, der Service aufmerksam. Die Küche hingegen... es war lecker und unaufgeregt - aber wenn Zutaten fehlen und der Koch auch keinen Hinweis gibt, dass was fehlt... Naja, das ist dann doof für den Service. Das kann man verbessern. Sonst gerne wieder!

Schöner Biergarten und das Essen schmeckt. Gefühltes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Ich finde das Lokal sehr schön, auch als Zwischenziel für ein Radler auf der Fahrradtour.
