Anlass unseres Besuchs auf dem Schweiklberg waren die Vorstellungen des Kulturmobils Niederbayern. Zwischen der Kindervorstellung und der Abendvorstellung waren genau zwei Stunden Pause, die wir für ein nettes Essen nutzen wollten. Da hat sich die Patisserie Olala ideal angeboten, weil sich die Thaeterbühne fast direkt daneben befand und weil dort auf der Speisekarte nicht nur Kuchen, sondern auch verschiedene andere Gerichte standen. Eine kurzfristige Tischteservierung war kein Problem, so dass wir in der Pause zwischen den beiden Theaterstücken einen Platz auf der schönen Terrasse hatten. Wir hatten uns aus einer schönen Auswahl verschiedene Flammkuchen, den Pulled-Pork-Burger und das Würstl-Pfandl ausgesucht. Und mussten warten, und warten, und warten. Ohne dass jetzt ein riesiger Ausstoß aus der Küche erkennbar gewesen wäre (nur ab und zu wurde auf der Terrasse an den anderen Tischen Essen serviert), hat es von der Bestellung bis dass das Essen auf dem Tisch stand über eine Stunde gedauert, so dass es wir uns am Ende schon fast wieder beeilen mussten, um rechtzeitig zur Abendvorstellung zu kommen. Geschmeckt hat es uns gut, das Ambiente war sehr angenehm. Das Angebot an Kuchen haben wir uns nur angesehen, das sah aber auch nicht schlecht aus. Von daher könnte man die Patisserie Olala durchaus empfehlen, wegen der wirklich ohne erkennbaren Grund langen Wartezeit aufs Essen bleiben am Ende nur drei Sterne übrig. Das kann man noch optimieren.

Wir haben die Torte für unseren Sohn zur Firmung bestellt. Top Preis, top Qualität und wirklich außergewöhnlich guter und freundlicher Service. Gerne jederzeit wieder. 😊

Wenn man hochpreisig essen oder trinken und dabei einen grottenschlechten Service erleben möchte, dann ist das Ohlala genau richtig. Ich war am heutigen Muttertag mit meiner 90jährigen Mutter im Olala und wurde erst einmal über eine halbe Stunde komplett ignoriert, obwohl nur wenige Tische belegt waren. Nachdem ich mich beschwert hatte, wurde uns immerhin mal eine Karte gebracht. Zu einer Bestellung kam es dann nicht mehr, da wir nach weiterer Wartezeit das Lokal verließen. Im Eiscafé Roma in Vilshofen, wo sehr viel Betrieb war, wurden wir dann sehr zuvorkommend und zügig bedient.

Dieses Restaurant wurde uns empfohlen und es hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Der Innenraum ist lichtdurchflutet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlt. Eine angenehme, dezente Hintergrundmusik schafft zusätzlich eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen und aufmerksamen Besitzerinnen, die dem Ganzen eine persönliche und herzliche Note verleihen. Der Gast ist hier der König(in) 🤗 👑 Die Auswahl an Kuchen und Cocktails ist hervorragend, alles wird mit viel Liebe zum Detail serviert und überzeugt geschmacklich. Auch die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen, Entspannen und Genießen ein – ein perfekter Ort, um dem Alltag für eine Weile zu entfliehen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Ein wirklich wunderschönes Café, das mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Man spürt sofort, dass hier nicht nur Wert auf Qualität, sondern auch auf Atmosphäre gelegt wird. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das ausgesprochen freundliche und aufmerksame Personal – man wird herzlich empfangen und bestens umsorgt. Ein Ort, an den man sehr gerne zurückkehrt

Nach dem schwarzen Kaffee aus Afrika empfehle ich den Besuch des Museums "Schwarz-Afrika" = absolut beeindruckende Sammlung an "Geschenken" aus der Missionszeit!! Hier wurde offenbar die Uhr angehalten 🤔

Beste Kuchen und Torten ever. Hier merkt man, dass die Konditormeisterin nur mit reinen Naturprodukten wie Butter und ohne künstliche Vormischungen arbeitet. Das Zischen der Espressomaschine gibt dem ganzen die richtige Kaffeehaus-Atmosphäre. Eine Karte bedient auch den Appetit auf Herzhaftes. Sehr freundlicher Service und tolles Wintergarten-Ambiente.

Der Flammkuchen war klasse, nur leider schon kalt. Ansonsten sehr schönes Ambiente und sehr netter Service.

Today we had a pulled pork burger, a Spanish vanilla cake, and a triple chocolate cream cake. Everything was really delicious. The homemade teas (cherry and blackcurrant) were also fantastic. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is bright and welcoming. We'll definitely be back :)

The location is truly beautiful, with a fantastic ambiance. It's also perfect for weddings or parties. Plenty of parking is available right outside. The food is very good and unusual. A true highlight on the Schweiklberg! My wife and I recently visited Olga's Olala Patisserie and were absolutely thrilled. At first, we were surprised to find something like a pulled pork burger on the menu in a café—but what a pleasant surprise! It was absolutely delicious and far exceeded our expectations. Overall, the portions were generous and the food truly fantastic. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you can immediately feel how much the owner and her team love their work. This is reflected not only in the quality of the food, but also in the exceptionally friendly service. We would love to come back!

We had the pulled pork burger twice and were so pleasantly surprised that it certainly won't be the last time we come here. Everything is homemade and of excellent quality.

The light-filled space was furnished with a great eye for design: not too much, not too little, a good balance of light and dark, green plants, and wood. The unusual architecture alone is worth a visit. Everything welcomes visitors. Seating is available both in the café (at abbey level) and further down on the sun terrace. The menu is small and offers filling salads for cyclists and hikers, as well as light dishes, some with a surprising twist. Those who like it can also indulge in something more substantial with pan dishes, burgers, and the like. To make the decision really difficult, the cake counter offers a number of interesting, homemade creations. The blackcurrant meringue cake was a poem! So delicious! The homemade lemonades are also not to be missed. Everything is accompanied by very attentive service. I wish the new team success with their concept. The café is definitely worth a visit.

Breakfast yesterday morning at Olala Patisserie: top quality, attentive service, a cozy, no-nonsense atmosphere. Perfect scrambled eggs, strong, hot coffee. Excellent value for money. If you want good food in the area, this is the place to be.

The location offers the perfect setting for our BNI meetings: modern, professional, and with a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are well-equipped, quiet, and ideal for productive networking sessions. The staff is friendly and helpful, easy to deal with, and the service is truly excellent. The owners are extremely friendly and always strive to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location is easily accessible, with parking nearby. A real plus for our regular meetings!

Great stop with really good food - deluxe home cooking. We felt completely comfortable and also had a delicious Augustiner on tap. It's a shame that the monks don't brew their own beer. But we can definitely recommend it. There is something for every taste, thank you.

Were there twice. Unfortunately the cake we ordered was not served the first time but was charged. On the second visit it took a very long time for the food to be served.

We were three starving racing cyclists who stayed overnight in the monastery. First of all we were impressed by the monastery. Rooms were perfect and the highlight was the cafeteria terrace. The food was first class, almost gourmet. And the service from mother and daughter is simply perfect. This is not just a cafeteria, but first a classic restaurant and then in beautiful surroundings.

Schweiklberg Monastery We went to a weekend seminar with a group of twelve in the Schweiklberg Monastery in Vilshofen! The bright, modernly renovated seminar rooms are very inviting and perfectly equipped! Rooms are cozy and offer a great view! The owners are very nice and organize the process and catering individually according to the wishes of the guests! You get breakfast in the cozy monastery wing, You can eat in the attached area, where the monastery terrace offers sunny places warm meals, homemade cakes and vegetarian dishes too! You can also use a cozy Almstüberl for various occasions! In addition, at a later hour you can sit together in a separate parlor in the monastery wing end the evening without disturbing the peace and quiet in the monastery. The overall package at Schweiklberg Monastery is simply incomparable! Definitely 5 stars!

I was there from October 8th to October 13th. in a guest room at the Schweiklberg monastery, which is now run by the new owners of Mr. Hofmann and Ms. Brauneis - and was therefore able to fully enjoy the good cuisine from the two of them. Service and good Lower Bavarian food 1a. Friendliness as well as full marks…. I would love to come back and look forward to seeing you again….

Super Lokal, leckere Speisen, wirklich freundliches Personal. So wünscht man sich ein Restaurant! Perfekt, wenn man als Radler im Gästehaus des Klosters übernachtet und den großen Hunger und Durst gleich nebenan stillen möchte.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit echt gutem Essen. Die Servicekräfte sind super freundlich und können sich auch große Bestellungen richtig merken. Auf der Terrasse sitzt es sich wirklich schön und gemütlich. Auch innen ist es modern eingerichtet und es gibt ein tolles "Stüberl" im Keller. Ich komme hier sehr gerne wieder her um lecker zu essen.

Vorweg: Ich kann ehrlich gesagt nicht recht verstehen, wieso jeder findet, dass dieses Café so toll ist. Vielleicht hatte ich einfach einen schlechten Tag erwischt, aber wie auch immer: Das Essen muss man zweigeteilt bewerten. Die normalen Gerichte, wie z.B. Tomate mit Mozarella (siehe Foto), oder die Nachos mit Salsa sind ein absoluter Witz. So etwas unverschämt überteuertes habe ich selten gegessen. Das bisschen Tomate-Mozarella für 9€... Macht schon sprachlos. Was die Kuchen angeht sieht es zumindest etwas besser aus. Vielleicht auch nichts übermäßig besonderes, aber trotzdem recht lecker und preiswerter. Allerdings zumindest bei mir auch ziemlich kleine Auswahl (5 Sorten insgesamt). Die Lage über Vilshofen und direkt neben der Abtei macht was her. Zusammengefasst also kann man schon kommen, um Kuchen zu essen, aber auf keinen Fall etwas von den normalen Gerichten bestellen, das darf so nicht bleiben, sorry. Reicht finde ich leider nicht für mehr als 2 Sterne. :(

Das Restaurant liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt, aber Parkplätze sind kostenlos genug vorhanden. Man hat dort seine Ruhe und es direkt am Kloster gelegen. Essen und Service waren top, klare Empfehlung. Klassische bayrische Küche (Kuchl) trifft auf Moderne. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Bier hat gemundet. Die Preise sind auch auf einem angenehmen Niveau! Gerne wieder.
