Das Essen war einfach hervorragend. Die Speisekarte bot eine wunderbare Auswahl an Gerichten, die alle frisch und mit hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet wurden. Ich hatte einen Wiener schnitzen , das perfekt gewürzt und absolut köstlich war. Auch die Präsentation der Speisen war erstklassig und zeigte die Liebe zum Detail, die in jedes Gericht einfloss.

Der Service war echt toll. Das essen war lecker die Hühner Schnitzel waren hervorragend! Immer wieder gerne. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

Hier fühlt man sich absolut wohl und abgeholt. Super Essen mit tollem Service. Beilagen werden kostenlos nachgeliefert, was wir so noch nirgendwo erlebt haben. Danke auch an Sana für den top Service, denn besser geht es nicht. Höflich, sehr aufmerksam und wertvoll für den Kiepenkerl. Genau wegen Menschen wie Sana gehen wir gerne essen. Vielen Dank an die Küche für das leckere Essen und vielen Dank auch an den Chef für das Konzept nach dem hier gearbeitet wird.

We were on a day trip in Münster and passed the Kleiner Kiepenkerl. There is a good selection of food. Vegetarians and vegans are also considered. The restaurant itself is rustically furnished. The service was very nice and we were served friendly and quickly.

We had a great evening there, one of the reasons being that our dog was greeted just as we were and was immediately given something to drink. The service was super friendly and in the end I ordered a men's cream that I didn't like, simply because I was in such a good mood and the evening there was so good :) Gladly again

Were there for dinner today. We got a table even without a reservation, even though it was very full. The food came quickly and was very tasty.

Hospitality and food at its best! After eating once, we were so excited that we went back the next day. Great ambience outside, tables set invitingly. Warm welcome, extremely friendly, attentive and professional staff. Hardly any waiting times. The food is very attractively prepared and tastes fantastic. Price performance very justified. 2. A few days ago we returned for the fourth time. We were greeted very friendly and, even though we didn't have a reservation, we got a nice table. Although we sat right at the counter and things were a little more hectic, everything was to our satisfaction. We noticed very well that the employees get along very well and are always very friendly. The food was really hot and tasted excellent. We try to stop here whenever we are in Münster. 1. This was our first time here and we will definitely come back. We had reserved and were even able to sit outside. The service staff was very nice, friendly and attentive. Both main dishes were very tasty and there was nothing to complain about. The food was served hot and attention was paid to everything. We really liked it and will be happy to include it on our visits to Münster.

We spontaneously went to the "kleine Kiepenkerl" on a Friday evening and were lucky to get the last table for 6 people. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. The sessional asparagus dishes like “fried white and green asparagus with three kinds of gnocchi” are simply great. The service staff were more than courteous and very attentive.

After waiting 30 minutes for our food. We had an excellent meal. The service was very attentive and friendly despite the full house and stress. We'd love to come back.

It was our first time in the small Kiepenkerl. Extremely fast, attentive and friendly service. The food was absolutely delicious (young broad beans and sesame chicken). Anyone visiting Münster is well advised to visit this restaurant. Be sure to reserve in advance. We'll definitely be back to test the menu further.

Everything was great, location, service, friendliness. Moderate prices, good selection, not too much on the menu. Clean, well-kept and attractive furnishings. Food was also very tasty, if it had been a little more refined I would have given it 5 stars.

The service and ambience were excellent, but the food couldn't keep up. My husband's main course was only lukewarm, both his dish and mine were very lightly seasoned. For the price structure, I would have expected a little more sophistication. The salad dressing was very tasty.

In the restaurant you can see, among other things, many interesting historical photos of Münster. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant. The toilets are clean. We always enjoy coming here.

Rhenish sauerbraten: 2 slices of meat... okay, but given the small size it could have been three. Only 1 dumpling as a side dish - I know the dish traditionally with 2 dumplings. Plus a little applesauce, no other side dish like red cabbage. Tasty quality, but far too small a portion for the price and quite carelessly prepared. A pity ... The staff and atmosphere were good and recommended.

If you were lucky, you got two tables for a total of six people. We were able to sit comfortably outside in the best weather. The service was very nice, we were asked twice about what could be brought. The food and drinks were also very good. I recommend the potty, as large portions.

Great ambience, great old inn atmosphere and a small menu with typical Westphalian and Münsterland dishes! Our waiter was TOP and really “on the ball”! Price-performance ratio is right! What more do you want! We will be back definitely ! I would like to highlight the reminder of the booking via SMS a few days before our visit with the option of simply confirming it again or canceling it at short notice (simply reply to the SMS with a number). Something like this is fun and both simple and sensible.

Westphalian bourgeois cuisine with contemporary standards. The pasta was all dente, the meat was medium and tender, the sauce was delicious, only the broccoli was dead, tasteless and very, very soft. The service was courteous and corresponded to the standard of the restaurant. The tight confines combined with the inevitably high noise level had a bit of a negative impact on the ambience. The visit was limited to two hours, so there wasn't enough time for the Kleiner Kaiserschmarrn dessert.

Als Familie mit vier Generationen haben wir unseren Aufenthalt im kleinen Kiepenkerl (mal wieder) sehr genossen : die Speiskarte bietet für jeden eine tolle Auswahl, das Essen ist durchweg vorzüglich und "on top": der Service ist hervorragend. unglaublich, wie individuell und altersgerecht zum einen die 98-jährigen Uroma aber auch die sechs und neunjährigen Kinder angesprochen wurden, das war sehr beeindruckend. Natürlich kommen wir wieder!!

Der Kleine Kiepenkerl hat mit dem Großen nichts zu tun - außer, dass sie quasi nebeneinander liegen. Der Große ist modern eingerichtet, der Kleine hat schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel. Dafür besteht nahezu der gesamte Kleine Kiepenkerl aus sehr freundlichen, engagierten Menschen, die eine nahezu jeden Wunsch erfüllen und vortreffliches Essen auf den Tisch bringen. Wir hatten einmal das echte Wiener Schnitzel und die drei verschiedenen Gnocchi-Varianten. Das Wiener war klasse, die drei Gnocchi-Spielarten großartig. Jede hatte etwas, mein Favorit war erstaunlicherweise die Rote-Beete-Variante. Das lohnt sich auszuprobieren. Insgesamt war es sehr entspannt dort, was vor allem dem wirklich professionellen, unaufdringlichen, aber diskret präsenten Service zu verdanken war. Dass man übers Internet reservieren kann und sofort eine Bestätigung erhält, macht es noch besser/einfacher. Weiter so.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt auch sehr gute vegetarische Optionen.

We (2 adults and 2 children) spontaneously stopped by for lunch and sat on the terrace in the wonderful sun. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. But not intrusive. The food was great. German cuisine simply cooked deliciously. We can highly recommend the aperitif Sarti Spritz.

Very tasty food with great service

The ambience is very good. Yesterday, March 21, 24, we ate there in the afternoon. My wife had sauerbraten with vegetables and dumpling. The dumpling was watery, the sauce was a mess and the vegetables had no juice or strength. I had a Wiener Schnitzel with old inedible fried potatoes and a watery vegetable without salt. Both meals were not edible. The price with an espresso is €84. It will never be an option for us again. The cook has missed the job.

Das Essen hervorragend! Auf den Punkt gebraten, ganz gleich ob Lachs, Rind oder Lamm. Das Salatdressing war ein Traum. Ich durfte die Hähnchenbrust in Sesamkruste genießen - was ein Gaumenschmaus! Besonders hervorheben muss man hier den Service. Freundlich, zuvorkommend. Nicht aufdringlich, einfach professionell und da, wo es geboten ist, auch äußert humorvoll. Der Servicemitarbeiter Abdullah war hauptverantwortlich für unsere Gesellschaft zuständig - er scheint in seinem Beruf seine Berufung gefunden zu haben. The ambience is exactly what you would expect from a traditional restaurant in Münster. The food was excellent! Roasted to perfection, regardless of whether it's salmon, beef or lamb. The salad dressing was to die for. I was able to enjoy the chicken breast in a sesame crust - what a treat! What needs to be particularly highlighted here is the service. Friendly, accommodating. Not intrusive, simply professional and, where necessary, also extremely humorous. The service employee Abdullah was primarily responsible for our company - he seems to have found his calling in his job. None of our group, some of whom were very critical, had ever experienced such outstanding service. Abdullah, thank you very much! You will be remembered by all my and our guests!

A beautiful, quaint restaurant with a great ambience! Very tasty food in generous portion sizes. Our evening there was rounded off by a great waiter with his own charm, who kept our laughing muscles on edge, as well as a surprise on the house for our birthday child! Just great! We recommend!!
