King´s Palace Chinarestaurant in Offenburg

I have taken very long in writing a review for this restaurant but I had to do it coz I highly recommend it. I was in charge of a group of 30 young ladies in their trip around Europe and had no restaurant to dine there night we were staying in Offenburg. I called this restaurant like only 2 hours beforehand and its owner told me they would receive us. Not only received they us but also prepare more food on the buffet only for us, stayed longer than the closing time for us (both the owner and his staff) and gifted us eating sticks. Everything was awesome, the food was yummy and really varied and the whole staff was really kind. Besides, the other made us a very fair group price. My girls enjoyed so much and had so many nice words to the owner and his team. They saved my night, to be honest and that dinner meant a turning point on the trip. It was only one time but I would go back there with other groups without hesitation. Thank you so much for the way you treated us! Hope to go there again!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant and I can say with complete confidence that it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The atmosphere in the restaurant is simply enchanting. The stylish furnishings and soft lighting create a cozy and inviting environment. The friendly staff greeted us warmly and quickly showed us to our table. The menu is diverse and offers a wide selection of traditional Asian dishes, including both classics and creative reinterpretations. We opted for a mix of dim sum, sushi and some Vietnamese pho. Every bite was a real treat! The fresh ingredients and perfect preparation made the dishes a taste experience. I would particularly like to highlight the sushi. Not only was it beautifully presented, but the flavors were harmonious and on point. The dim sum was also a highlight – tender and juicy, with an aromatic filling. The service was also excellent. Our waiter was always attentive without being intrusive and gave us valuable recommendations that only made our choices even better. The highlight of our visit was the dessert: an exotic mango and sticky rice combination that was simply heavenly and perfectly rounded off the evening. Overall, my visit was a thoroughly successful experience. The combination of delicious food, first-class service and a welcoming atmosphere makes this restaurant a must-visit for Asian cuisine lovers. I can't wait to return and explore more of this delicious menu!

Since the original entry was removed like many others, I'm posting it again - I haven't visited the restaurant since then but friends told me the same thing when we happened to talk about the entry's removal. Since the owner had the entry removed, there is now one less star. The buffet was pretty cold and the service was completely overwhelmed. No receipt with VAT, let alone a signature - so everything goes into the slush fund. Since September last year there has been an obligation to submit a TSE if you don't have a signature on the invoice yet, you can avoid paying taxes and the tax office is watching. 🤷‍♀️

Good all you can eat buffet with a good selection of sushi and grill. Sushi is really tasty for such an ayce buffet and was always freshly refilled

Unlike other Asian restaurants with a buffet, everything here is always fresh and delicious (we come about once a month). It's also great that you can choose your own fish and meat and have it grilled. The service is extremely nice and the prices are more than fair. Always happy!

Very good, too bad in Germany there are no famous shrimp spring rolls. Most of their buffet is hellish according to the manager.

All dishes from the buffet taste very tasty. There are always new dishes. The friendliness of the service staff and the entire ambience have made this restaurant our "regular Chinese restaurant".

The Chinese restaurant Kings Palace offers an excellent selection at their buffet. The variety of dishes is impressive. What is particularly noteworthy is the attentive service: If you specify when making your reservation that there is a wheelchair user, they will explicitly ensure that a spacious table is provided. This shows that Kings Palace also takes the needs of guests with limited mobility into account. A thoroughly recommended restaurant with great food and customer-focused service.

A wonderful place with an amazing atmosphere! Very attentive staff. And I, as a dog owner, was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality for animals!!!!

Food was okay, a lot of the standard stuff. Stir-frying the food was a bit slow, the food was tough and a bit black. Prices are good, drinks not included. The service was great, they often walked by and regularly asked if everything tasted good.

Food wasn't really good, the Sunday buffet wasn't good value for money. Food is over salted / over sugared so you either can't eat much or have to drink too much. Service reduced to the bare minimum in terms of friendliness.

An Asian restaurant with a good selection, friendly staff and the ambience is also neat

We were relatively spontaneous today and were able to get a table reservation there within 15 minutes. We were met very courteously and politely... Plates were cleared away immediately, the staff were always very attentive, even when it came to drinks or empty glasses. The selection at the buffet was large, everything was fresh and attractively prepared. The food, which was freshly prepared on the Mongolian grill, arrived at the table in less than 5 minutes. We also received very nice advice when putting together the ingredients. All in all tip top, we'll be back!

Very nice atmosphere. Great selection of food and drinks. Service top! Prices top! But it should also be mentioned when prices change like Sunday/holidays. It wasn't mentioned and so for 8 people it was 80€ more.

Very nice service. Delicious food, everyone will find something for themselves, both meat lovers and vegetarians. For dessert, something for chocolate lovers... a chocolate fountain. I recommend!!

Buffet with a wide variety of fresh products, logically you can prepare your own wok. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The living room has a well-detailed decoration with ambient music and the bathrooms are very clean. It has ample parking for everyone.

Super nice and funny staff who make suggestions and explain the buffet. The food is beautifully presented and is of great quality. I personally really liked the sushi, the curry was good and the fried rice was as it should be. Nothing was too dry. My highlight was the baked banana, with honey prepared in a suitable glass with portioning option. At the end there was some sake to drink. I will come back. :)

Went there for the first time because it doesn't look very appealing from the outside. However, we were convinced of the opposite. It's been a long time since we've been served so kindly and courteously. We will definitely be there more often. Thanks to each and every one of you for your great performance, including the chefs. All you can eat buffet. Large selection, including fresh meat and fish (including exotic things like shark and kangaroo). Very friendly staff. At the end we were even given a pack of beautiful Chinese chopsticks. :)

Nicely decorated restaurant with friendly service staff. In the evening we opted for the all you can eat buffet. Something for everyone. Salad, sushi, warm dishes, live cuisine and dessert. I would improve the system with an ice cream maker. Not everyone wants a waffle with their ice cream. It would be nice if you could get the ice cream out of the bowl too. But it's just a small thing, otherwise everything is really great.

I come to the restaurant to eat more often for business than for pleasure - so far everything has been fine, but today was the highlight. After barely sitting at the table for 2 minutes and waiting for the waiter to order a drink, you were herded to the buffet: "Boss, get food - little time - drink will come later". (and this from the restaurant manager personally) I then left the restaurant. It's understandable when there's a lot going on and the staff who work there every day are stressed, but a certain level of friendliness towards customers must be maintained. The food + ambience was good, service was catastrophic!

The food was delicious, but the waiter (male) was super unfriendly and sometimes really borderline with his sayings and comments. We were there to celebrate our birthday and unfortunately it really ruined the mood a bit! It's a shame when people in the catering industry work in service even though they obviously don't enjoy working with people.

Best Chinese restaurant in Offenburg. Great ambience, the food from the buffet was plentiful and tasty, it was always refilled immediately and quickly, the Mongolian grill was also great, my recommendation, add the garlic sauce when frying, it tastes great. A large chocolate fountain and A soft ice cream machine is also included in the price, soft ice cream was delicious, and there are various sauces, strawberry, caramel, chocolate, available. A sushi bar with a good selection is also available. Price performance is perfect, the four of us spent €122 Paid for food + drinks, which is around €30 per person, an absolute bargain. The conditions are quick, friendly and always up for a bit of fun. I will definitely come back.

Very very good restaurant. The quality of the food is top. The atmosphere is very nice and there is plenty of space between the tables. Service 1A, very clean. The pond is a real eye-catcher, as is everything in this restaurant. And there is also a separate area if you are in a group. All in all, the King’s Palace completely convinced me. I'm happy to drive 20 km for this 👍🏽

The food is awesome. I'm a fan of this cuisine and have tried a lot of it here. The team is great, attentive and super quick. Prices are great for what is on offer. Cleanliness was just great, toilets were clean and so was the rest. You don't need to be afraid here, everything is clean. Me and my darling give it 5 out of 5 and we become regular customers.

We were there yesterday, April 13, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. with 4 adults and 1 child. We had reserved, which is important if you go later. There is enough parking space and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The staff is very nice and what pleasantly surprised me is that they all speak German well. The food tasted good, but it didn't taste any different than any other Asian buffet. Since I was spared diarrhea, I assume that little to no glutamate was used. We will definitely visit this restaurant again and can only recommend it.

Went to the King's Palace yesterday (03/17/24). Called to see if there was room for 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). Wasn't a problem. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and shown our table. We found the ambience good, we felt comfortable. Everything was available at the buffet, it was fresh, clean and everything tasted great. There was a lot of choice to have something grilled and it didn't take long for it to be brought to us. The staff were all friendly. When we are back in the region we would be happy to come back. Addition: was there again today. And I certainly won't do that if it's no good

The food is very good. Sushi buffet is nothing special (the taste could be better), but it is available. For the price (12.90 without drink) everything is great. The ambience is great, we could also park easily. I will go again.

Have been here 3 times and are thrilled every time. Everything is fresh and tasty and, above all, super clean! No wild buffet mess like other restaurants! We like it very much. The service is quick and extremely nice and friendly. We can highly recommend it and friends who were there today also thought it was great here. Absolutely top value for money!

A very nice restaurant with a good buffet. The selection was very good and everything was fresh. The meat in all dishes was super tender and generally tasted great. Sushi is also offered at the buffet, the selection of sushi is not very large but what is on offer is very good. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. It was an extremely pleasant and, above all, delicious stay, we will definitely visit more often.

We were there for the buffet. Luckily we had reserved, at first it looked pretty empty, but the tables were all reserved and as the evening progressed the place was full to the last seat. The staff was noticeably friendly and accommodating. The food was also to our complete satisfaction. Everything was always refilled. As soon as you had empty a plate, someone had already cleared it away. We also liked the atmosphere. Lots of typically Asian decorative elements in a modern outfit. The spatial division makes the restaurant appear smaller and cozier. All in all highly recommended.

The buffet has a large selection and the prices are reasonable! The waitresses were all courteous and polite, and the processes were consistent. The establishment appears very clean and well maintained. We would have just liked a little more choice for vegetarians... otherwise we were satisfied.
