Had Falafel Kimo which was fine. It seems to be a fav destination of youth. Only it was too loud.

My absolute favorite falafel shop. Only on weekends in the evening do you often have to wait longer, as the shop is very popular and therefore often very full. Always worth a visit and definitely recommended

I would like to express my biggest disappointment about visiting this restaurant. First the food: Disgusting is an understatement. Everything was poorly prepared, inedible and did not meet my expectations at all. It was almost a cheek to serve something like that! Even worse than the food, however, was the staff. I have rarely experienced such rude and unprofessional employees. Nobody should do this to themselves – do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Super rude employees! Ordered Shawarma teller and it was not good at all. Teller was served with meat which was extremely cold and uncooked along with watery vegetables. May be better that they just focus on Falafel.

You get the feeling that Arab guests are not welcome here. You should be ashamed of yourself!!

I just bought a classic Fallafel bag. It was sour I had to throw it away. Perhaps the hygiene procedures are not as routinely incorporated into the workflow there. I find it strange when something spoiled is sold. Unfortunately I was already at home (Wedel) otherwise I would have brought it back 😥

By the Lord of the Kaaba, I ate shit. A falafel sandwich at Kimo’s. The salad tastes disgusting and old, but the shop next to it is much better and very clean. I do not recommend Kimo to anyone.

The best falafel I've ever eaten! And a great price. I definitely recommend falafel wrapped in a wrap and not on a plate. There is usually a place to sit. Avoid the toilets, but at least you can wash your hands there.

By far the best street food. Since I've been living nearby again, I've been a regular there again. Due to the high quality and the really low prices, the store is often overrun. But even when stressed, the employees are always friendly. The ambience is not great. Has snack character. And you rarely get a free table during peak times. But that's not a bad thing because it's really good street food. I would highly recommend the store.

Probably one of the best falafel in Hamburg. For me the good father of Falafel. For a long time, the falafel sandwich here cost less than €3, but kebab inflation doesn't stop there either. Nevertheless, even today in 2024 the prices here are relatively fair. For just over €5, you can get a really good and tasty falafel sandwich, refined with pickled vegetables and fried vegetables. Very, very cool. The sauces are also convincing! If the bread were fresh and home-baked, the 5 stars would definitely be there. The experienced kebab palate is happy to accept an additional charge for this.

It used to be a good and affordable falafel place. However, yesterday I noticed that the prices had increased and the quality and hygiene had declined. I ordered a classic falafel, and the person making it was handling all the ingredients with the same hands he used to take money, including those for all the bar options. My falafel had an unusual fishy smell and taste. I used to visit frequently and enjoy it, but it seems the standards of the place have changed.

I bought falafel in bread and my friend bought shawarma. When ordering we were totally overwhelmed and couldn't decide anything. We weren't asked what we wanted on it. It became easy Everything was packed, even though we didn't know what was in it. Unfortunately, we found the food a bit dry and cold, especially because of the very cold potatoes, which didn't go well with it. We would have liked the food to be warm would have been.

I ordered the Falafel Kimo and the Shawarma Platter. Both dishes tasted amazing! I loved how quickly the food was served, even though the place was busy. The price was cheap, and it’s a nice place to eat. However, they really need better air circulation—please open the window.

A pleasant "Middle Eastern" atmosphere, quite cozy, very inexpensive and incredibly tasty and filling. I only pay €6 for a Shawarma Kimo (Kimo means EVERYTHING, meaning countless types of vegetables, salads, falafel, meat, hummus and more sauces. Really extremely tasty and very filling, as the portion is large) as a wrap and I basically can't do it Ever afford to eat out, but this place is so unbeatable in terms of price and taste that my husband and I have been regular customers there for years and always get the same thing. The employees are incredibly friendly and thanks to them I know that everything is kosher, which is a great joy for us. We have never been disappointed there and have been there over 100 times and nothing will change.

Everything has to happen quickly... if you have a question, you get a stupid answer, it's on the card what it is! First of all, it's not the case and secondly, it's no reason not to even talk about it. Especially not when you're with them for the first time. But that's just a minor point, because what's really not working is the state of hygiene! The trash can (a bag where the trash is overflowing! You could probably invest €100 here and put a closed trash can! But now comes the highlight, the nice man with a glove... He takes the order, he prepares it, he collects the money and he cleans the floor with a mop!!! Danger!! All with one glove!?!? What's that supposed to mean? Then just leave the glove off, like the other two colleagues. Pretending to work hygienically but completely not doing it is actually even worse than just completely ignoring it like the other two colleagues do. I would also like to read an explanation for this. Just because they're cheap doesn't mean you can't follow a few hygiene measures!

For me the best falafel in town. I haven't eaten the other things yet but the falafel plates, the sauces, hummus etc. are super tasty. Everything is fresh. The shop itself isn't the nicest, it's just a snack bar and not a service restaurant. We love it.

Cash, food preparation, cigarettes on the street, cell phones - simply everything is touched with bare hands without even washing them once in between - there is absolutely no understanding of hygiene. Just disgusting

The queue on Sunday afternoon was a clear indication of the quality of the products. For little money you can get good, very tasty falafel here, also to take away. The staff was very friendly, the plates looked very appetizing. Gladly again! Been there again after years. There was a queue that day too. I decided on a small falafel plate (3 pieces €5.50). Was happy with my choice. Only the plate could have been larger, half of it fell off when eating/turning.

I treated myself to falafel and went straight back the next day. I assume that the falafel was homemade, it was really great, as was the sesame sauce. I only go there for falafel when I'm in Hamburg. The queue is usually quite long, but you can get to it really quickly. Plus just €4.50 for falafel in bread. The store is recommended. 👌🏼

What can I say, an absolute classic from Hamburg. Prices have been increased slightly but still good value. There is also space to sit, matching the surroundings. The dollop of hummus on top is the cherry on top of the cream cake. You can definitely do it.

This was my favorite shawarma and fallafel place in Hamburg and I always ordered Teller größ as otherwise the portions were too small. Now even size of Teller größ has shrunk since last year.

No matter what the Gören family writes here, the food tastes great, is super cheap and they are super quick. It feels like the employees work there 24/7 from 12 p.m. to midnight. Thanks guys, you really feed half the hill and I'm always happy to come back to you. Yes, it is a little louder in the store, yes, there is a louder atmosphere. But then the food costs significantly more. And that's what it's all about for me: I want to buy affordable, delicious, good food from nice people and that's exactly what you get here! <3 The classic is of course the falafel wrap with halloumi but the schwarma or kimo plate are also great. Everything is freshly prepared on site, I've been eating there for 10 years and never had a problem.

We came here after everything else was closed on the holiday and were very positively surprised despite the great reviews we had read before. We had a small plate of shawarma, a small plate of halloumi and a drink each and paid a total of €16.50. “Small” is a completely understated description of the size; the contents of the shawarma plate would have filled more than 2 shawarmas in Stuttgart. We came straight back 2 days later. The seating area is a bit dirty, but no more than you would expect given the prices. A very authentic restaurant where you no longer feel like you are in Germany when you enter.

My friends brought me here before going on a concert. Not big fan of falafel but this was tasty, except cinnamon spice in it. I Always trying to break my traditional favourite food to eat, to learn new things, experience new aromas. So 1 star down only because I don't love cinnamon in salty food. Service was fast and polite, busy place so means good food. I recommend to all but inform yourself before bying about ingredient.

I don't understand the hype... the falafel wrap isn't particularly tasty and is almost cold. I was bullied at the checkout because I supposedly ordered the wrong thing. In general, I was given a rather annoyed and unpleasant mood here.

We were there on a Friday evening. The food is prepared quickly and the staff are friendly. The "wrap" was very good, the falafel plate was good, next time we would take the "wrap" twice. Good price/performance ratio, we would love to come back!

Wir waren spontan hier und haben Schawarma probiert. Es wurde sehr shhnell und frisch zubereitet und der Preis war inordnung. Leider traf es nicht unseren Geschmack. Das Lokal war in der kurzen Zeit sehr gut besucht, also scheint die Qualität zu stimmen.
