Super gutes Essen! Da ist für jeden was dabei. Falafel sind erste Klasse. Schnelle Bedienung und die Preise sind auch in Ordnung.

Einfacher Laden jedoch kulinarisch nicht xu unterschätzen. Fallafel sind hier der Hammer und taboulé auch. Komme gerne wieder. Schmeckt eben super zu humanen Preisen.

Auf der Suche nach versteckten Geheimtipps stoße ich auch diesen Imbiss. Im Hintergrund läuft laute östliche Musik. Ich teste Falafel Classic und Walnussmus. Die Falafel sind super knusprig. Das Walnussmus erinnert mich etwas an Milchreis, da ich eine Zimtnote herausschmecke. Insgesamt kann ich beides absolut empfehlen! Fazit: ausgezeichnete Falafel zu moderatem Preis, direkt bei der Station Sternschanze. 5 Sterne!

Bester Falafel in Hamburg. Besser als Falafelstern. Hier bekommt man für wenig Geld ein idealen Snack zum cornern rund ums Schanzenviertel. Nur das Schawarma würde ich bei diesem Laden nicht empfehlen und lieber einen Schawarma Laden mit Spieß aussuchen.

Habe mir einen großen Shawarmateller mit zwo zusätzlichen Merguez bestellt. Die Zutaten waren allesamt sehr aromatisch. Ich persönlich bin allerdings kein Freund von kalten Kartoffeln. Die gehören so, sind geschmacklich gut, aber kalt nicht mein Fall. Fleisch war lecker und alle weiteren Zutaten ebenfalls. Für den Preis von 15€ war die Portion auf alle Fälle gut. Ich würde den Laden empfehlen und auf alle Fälle wiederkommen.

Hier gibt es die besten Falafel-Variationen! Hamburgs ungeschlagener Falafel-Meister sozusagen. Und wenn Dir Mal nach richtig Fleisch al Arabia ist, dann kannst Du dich mit dem Kimo-Teller ausknocken. so oder so jedes Mal wenn ich da fertig bin, bin ich pappensatt, es gibt für kleines Geld absolut anständige Portionen!

Unglaublich schnell, auch wenn die Warteschlange auf dem ersten Blick lang wirkt. Hinter der Theke wird sehr schnell gehandelt. Ich habe nicht einmal gezahlt und wir hatten zwei Falafel-Rollo in der Hand. Dazu schmeckt es auch noch sehr gut und die Preise sind sehr fair. 15€ für zwei Falafel und zwei Wasser. Klare Empfehlung!

Bester Falafel in der Umgebung, machen neuerdings mehr rein, aber falten die Wraps unten nicht mehr zu, ist doch kein taco bell, Sauerei mit Roter Beete vorprogrammiert, bitte bitte wieder wie vorher!

Ihr Verhalten ist leider unhöflicher geworden, seit sie etwas Geld und Kunden haben, und das Essen ist nicht immer frisch.

Einfach lecker! Schawarma im Brot, ebenso Falafel im Brot... Teilweise ist es sehr voll, kein Wunder!, aber es geht trotzdem sehr schnell. Es gibt nicht sehr viele Plätze, aber das stört nicht. Jederzeit wieder!!

Ich komme immer wieder gerne hierher, es ist einfach unschlagbar. Der beste Imbiss in ganz Hamburg! Er liegt nicht nur direkt neben dem besten Kneipenviertel Hamburgs (der Schanze), das Essen ist nicht nur unglaublich lecker, sondern auch noch supergünstig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Die Portionen sind riesig, besonders wenn man die Platte bestellt. Jedes Mal, wenn mich jemand in Hamburg besucht, bringe ich ihn hierher.

Bester Shawarma der Stadt vom Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis her. Die Jungs hinterm Tresen leisten Akkordarbeit, und trotzdem kommt wirklich leckeres authentisches Essen dabei raus. Davon können sich viele andere Läden ein großes Beispiel dran nehmen. Shawarma Kimo für 6,50€ auf die Hand, egal ob 19 Uhr oder 02:30, nüchtern oder betrunken, immer bestes Essen.

Folgendes Szenario: 1.Mai, abends. Lange Schlange bis vor den Laden. Mega voll, stickig, will eigentlich nur schnell bestellen und raus. Bin endlich dran. Dann kommt auf einem ein Freund eines Mitarbeiters, der die Warteschlange überspringt, sich neben mich drängeld und erstmal bei seinem Kumpel für sich und seine Freunde bestellt und dann auch noch als erstes bedient wird. Frechheit! So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Das ist wirklich unterste Schublade vom Service her. Nun zum positiven. Immer Lecker und sehr günstig!!!

Kimo hat seit Jaaahren die Preise nicht erhöht (gefühlt) - meine Standard Falafel Adresse, die ich auch jedem Besucher Hamburgs empfehlen würde. Einfach unglaublich lecker, vielseitig, nicht zu fettig oder so! Macht auch unglaublich satt. An manchen Tagen sehr voll und kein Platz zum Essen, aber man kann das Essen auch gemütlich unterwegs auf ner Bank essen oder so. (Ich empfehle dringend „Falafel Kimo“)

Einfach unglaublich – der Falafel hier ist hervorragend. Alle Zutaten waren superfrisch und jede einzelne Komponente im Wrap war köstlich. Ich hatte zwar Shawarma Kino, aber der Falafel war das absolute Highlight. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und wenn ihr in der Gegend seid, ist das ein absolutes Muss! Der Service war super und alle waren total freundlich.

Nach über 12 Jahren in Hamburg war ich zum ersten Mal hier, warum erst jetzt eigentlich? Geschmacklich hat es mir sehr gut gefallen, alles frisch, geht schnell, alle sind freundlich, sogar Kartenzahlung möglich. Preislich: was ist hier los? Warum so günstig? Ist natürlich keine Beschwerde, aber anderswo zahlt man locker das doppelte für die gleiche Qualität. Wäre auch hier absolut gerechtfertigt. Kein unnötiger Schnick Schnack, sondern Konzentration auf das wichtige. Unbedingte Empfehlung!

Seit Jahren esse ich meine Falafel immer hier. Die sind einfach so lecker! Das ist aber kein Restaurant, wo man sich hinsetzt und ein bisschen Zeit verbringt… Man holt sich was zu essen und dann kann man auch gerne weitergehen. Alles total lecker dort! Die Preise sind der Hit!

I’m not from Germany, but I’ve tried many kebabs with bread in Berlin and Hamburg, and this one doesn’t come close. Very little meat (not good taste), cold potatoes and carrots inside, and a completely tasteless sauce. The bread was thin, clearly pre-made flatbread style, not baked on site. I don’t understand the good reviews at all, my experience was very disappointing.

The food is delicious! The eggplant was cold; it would have been better hot. But since everything else was so tasty, it's definitely not a reason to deduct a star. Delicious falafel, a must-try on any visit to Hamburg. Fresh ingredients, delicious hummus, and crispy falafel.

Unfortunately, this vegetable bread has nothing to do with real shawarma. Traditional shawarma is based on marinated meat with typical spices—here, it's replaced with potatoes, carrots, and beets, which isn't authentic in terms of taste and culture. It's a shame that you hardly find any real Middle Eastern cuisine in Sternschanze, only adapted versions.

The food is excellent and the prices are unbeatable. Best enjoyed warm. The falafel is amazing, and the shawarma is also delicious. I'd be happy to come back.

Unbelievable! Just go here and order a falafel plate. The vegetables, the dips, the falafel are WAY too good. You order, turn around, and the food is in front of you. Always happy to go back and highly recommended!

A truly great falafel shop in the Schanze district! The falafel was super delicious and really juicy, and they also had a beetroot version – something different and very successful. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect; you get generous portions for a fair price. The only small downside: Unfortunately, they only accept cash payments, which is a bit inconvenient. Otherwise, however, absolutely recommended – if you're in the Schanze district, you should definitely stop by!

Good falafel for a fair price. I don't really get why it is so hyped. Don't get me wrong it was solid and tasteful, but did not feel like a must try.

The sauces are so strange it's brutal, in a dürüm no cinnamon belongs let alone cardamom, then it tastes like semolina porridge

Here, I had a chicken shawarma, which, at least for me, wasn't convincing. Unfortunately, they didn't even ask if I wanted all the ingredients. Unfortunately, the preparation went by my eye; it was done so quickly. So, beetroot and potatoes also ended up in my meal. Unfortunately, there was far too little meat. The hummus was okay, but overall, only half was really tasty for me... The price, which initially seemed cheap, doesn't make it worth it. I wouldn't repeat it.

The food at this falafel shop tastes really good – there's nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, I still can't recommend it to anyone. I've experienced several times that the owner suddenly started talking about me in Arabic and laughing. Each time, my other colleagues turned to look at me, which was very uncomfortable. As a trans person, I feel exposed and discriminated against. Today, it got particularly brazen: When I politely asked for some extra bread, they started speaking in Arabic again. When I paid, I immediately noticed that I had been overcharged by €5. After I pointed it out, he immediately gave me the €5 without any further calculation. Overall, you don't feel welcome or respectful here. I will avoid this shop in the future, no matter how good the food may be. Discrimination has no place – not even behind a delicious plate of falafel.

The guys are extremely fast, so you never have to wait long, even if the line is very long. For €5.50, you can get a delicious Kimo falafel that will fill you up. Since there's always something going on, the ingredients are always fresh. They use a variety of sauces.

Unfortunately, I can only give it two stars. We've been getting falafel from KIMO for years when we're in Hamburg, but yesterday was probably the last time. Ordering was really complicated; the guys weren't friendly and pretended at least five times that they didn't understand what I was talking about. It wasn't funny either, more frustrating and irritating. The falafel in the bread was also noticeably less flavorful; there were no sauces, and it was dry and tasteless. Really a shame, it used to be good! :(

Used to be my absolute favorite falafel in Hamburg – today I had a very unpleasant surprise. I'd recommend omitting the fried bread chips – my entire falafel tasted like varnish. Maybe it was just old fat. I had to throw it away.

A real insider tip for all falafel lovers! The falafel were perfectly seasoned, crispy, and moist on the inside – simply delicious. I especially liked the creamy hummus and the fresh ingredients. The service was friendly and quick, and the portions were more than fair. I'll definitely be back!

That was absolutely unacceptable! There was no sign or indication that the toilet was closed. The colleague simply opened the door while I was in the toilet - without even knocking! Something like this crosses the boundaries of normal behavior and is absolutely not okay. It's disrespectful and shameful! Gen Z's go to place for non processed vegetarian food. (anyone over the age of 35 will stick out like a flare in the night sky 🤣) The falafelwraps here are one of the best you can get in Hamburg. Popularity and relatively low prices result in a high turnaround so you can expect the ingredients to be fresh. Prepare for a queue out of the door on to the street at peak times, (which is more or less every evening) but the wait does not exceed 20mins very often. The food is worth it though. Try to figure out what you would like to order before getting to the counter. If you are unsure of what to choose and you are not picky, go for the Kimo-Falafel wrap which includes a bit of nearly everything on display. Cant go wrong and prepare for an avalanche of different tastes. Eating in should only be considered if you have no other place to go or if the weather is horrible. The noise and the queue snaking its way through the restaurant never make eating here a pleasant experience. Take-away is highly recomended and they do pack the food in a way so it can be transported to... any nicer place. Foodwise a must for vegetarians and vegans. Service: minus 1 star for only taking tax-dodge friendly cash.

Insanely bad! My shawarma not only looked inedible but also tasted like ass crack. With a 4.6 rating I thought I could eat something delicious, but I ended up with the nastiest food I've ever eaten. Why do Egyptians always slap everything they find into shawarmas, it shouldn't be a bowl!

We made a direct comparison of Kimo and Falafelstern right next door - a falafel plate was ordered from both Result: We found the overall package to be a bit less good. The fresh vegetables were a bit bland, the sauces were very tasty but unfortunately a bit lacking. The falafels get a 6/10. Well seasoned, a little spicy and also nice and crunchy. Unlike falafels, it comes with bread. Overall, definitely a stable place to go and better value for money!
