Most of the food was tasty and warm, but the meat was mostly tough and dry.

The ambience and the ordering process with the tablet distract from the fact that it is just an "Asian food stamp" like all the others.

Unfortunately the sushi selection is really small, it's always the same roll, just with a different topping. All other side dishes are really delicious and always fresh! It would be nice if Kikko would go with the trends, for example also offer fried sushi and basically bring more variety to the sushi rolls.

An excellent experience. The food was mostly very good. Only the duck and chicken were too dry. However, the star deduction is for two Hefeweizen without yeast. Unfortunately, this one probably remained in the barrel.

We didn't have to wait for a seat. We had free choice of table. But we were there right at the opening. For the lunch buffet. €22 is completely fine, although the food selection used to be a lot more. It's definitely worth going anyway.

It wasn't our first visit and fortunately the technical problems at the time (tablets) have apparently been resolved. Unfortunately, the quality of the grilled food varies greatly. All good, but not super cheap either. €34.50 per person, order 10 times with a maximum of 5 “sample”... One thing is for sure, everyone will definitely be fed up! There really isn't a need for 5 "dishes" in each round, after all there are a maximum of 10 possible rounds. Everyone has to know for themselves how many passes they want to do... A 15 minute timer runs between each order, but this is absolutely no problem. It is more problematic to remember what you have ordered until it is brought so that you don't eat "the wrong thing from your neighbor".. 😁 For us, there were three of us, it was OK. 144€ including drinks is also a house number...

Among the sushi 🍣 restaurants I've tried so far, it was the best food, in terms of quality, taste and appearance! Price/performance was absolutely reasonable. At just under 35 euros it's not a low price, but the quality and quantity coupled with very attentive and super friendly staff means the price ratio is right. Highly Recommended! The fact that the toilet is on the first floor does not deduct any points from my review.

Not very interesting sushi or menu, very limited for an all you can eat. The sushi didn't look nice and the fish wasn't fresh. The sashimi was cut weird and it wasn't really tasty. I wouldn't really recommend.

We like kikko a lot. I can't say anything qualitatively either. It always tastes good. But what I have to complain about is the prices. I imagine it would be very difficult for a family with more than two children. Of course the prices have risen everywhere, but it's already a house number.

We were in the restaurant with 4 people last night. To date it has always been our favorite sushi shop. The first 2 rounds were ok, in the 3rd round our sushi stopped coming. Even outside court were not brought. When asked, they just said there were problems in the kitchen. The sushi from rounds 3 and 4 only came to the table about 45 minutes later. The dessert we ordered in the meantime didn't come at all. When we asked, we were told that the order had not arrived in the kitchen. Please reorder. I then complained to customer service on site. An apology was made, but it took us 3 hours to complete 5 rounds and the price of €176 is nothing to sneeze at either. Unfortunately we have to say that we won't be coming back. For such poor cuisine and these prices, you can really go somewhere else to eat. A pity.

Some of the food we ordered was swimming in oil and that's why it tasted that way. The service was very friendly.

Very nice atmosphere and always friendly employees. Unfortunately, individual dishes were taken off the menu and the quality used to actually be better. Sometimes the food is cold when the store is full and the price keeps rising. The sushi is still outstanding.

I was there today with my wife and two friends because our regular sushi restaurant is currently closed. The location on the edge of the city center is good. Another positive thing is that you can sit outside. Ordering is done via tablet. Now for the negative points: None of us were blown away by a single piece of sushi. Quality, taste and especially the selection can clearly be improved. The biggest surprise came when we ordered the bill: 187 euros for 4 people. Some things have to be paid extra again at 3.5 to 4.8 euros, even though the "entrance fee" is already 34.80 euros... that's not possible and borders on deception, as you can hardly notice the extra prices and they aren't pointed out. When we asked the waiter about it at the end, he just said that he didn't think it was good, but that was the way it was... Overall, not recommended for all of us. The price-performance ratio is simply not right.

Completely satisfied. The concept of ordering via the display is extremely well implemented. After ordering, it takes less than 5 minutes for the first delivery to the table. Always recommended. Looking forward to the next visit :)

Unfortunately not as good as before. On my last visit, the food that was brought was often only lukewarm to cold, the avocado in the sushi was partly brown, and I was given sushi that was probably no longer good. The staff is actually always friendly, even when the store is full. And in my opinion, the price/performance ratio is unfortunately no longer right. A real shame.

It's very tasty there. Lots of small, tasty portions. Many food courses I also think it's good that you have to pay something if you leave something on your plate. If you don't know a dish, just take a small portion at first and if it tastes good, you'll have it for the next course. We thought it was really great. It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth it.

I write reviews far too rarely, unfortunately we were there today and the food arrived straight away every time, but unfortunately it was always cold, it didn't even taste fresh, the price was way too expensive, there was far too little choice for the money you leave there, but nevertheless the staff was very nice.

The restaurant is still nicely decorated. Very empty when we visited. The staff was, as always, very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer there. At €35 for the evening rate I expect something more than "stale" sushi, and fried, but COLD!, beef. Soups were also only lukewarm, and some dishes we ordered simply didn't arrive without comment. All in all, we weren't satisfied and will probably look for a new "Japanese". A pity!

The service here is top. Both the explanation of the concept and the later service at the table. The concept as such is also very good if the quality is right. At the beginning the restaurant was great, good quality food, nice staff and always worth a visit. We went a month ago and it was a disaster, we haven't been going since. The food was cold, the tuna on the sushi was already brown, the banana in the baking coat was already bad. We told the staff but no response. For the price it is no longer justified. I'd rather go to a real Japanese place and get good quality. Everyone who praises the place has never had real sushi. I also had stomach cramps several times from the miso soup. At some point I noticed the Maggie bags in the kitchen. The store was pretty empty for a Friday, so you could tell that something was wrong. I'm really very disappointed.

Due to wanderlust after my trip to Japan, I was looking for a good sushi restaurant. Unfortunately I was disappointed here. Sorry, but the sushi at Kikko is clearly not worth the high price and the food offered there is overall not worthy of Japanese cuisine. The tuna (raw) was clearly not fresh. The overall quality is poor. A look into the kitchen confirmed the disappointment. This is not a Japanese standard. The waiters were nice.

I have tested almost all tablet Asians. Unfortunately, this one ranks far down on the list. Significantly less choice than elsewhere. Price is more expensive. Some dishes came cold. I think a lot of things are already being prepared for the masses. So it's kind of like a buffet that you don't have access to. The beef tenderloin was not a large piece of fillet, but rather small pieces. The same as on the spit. Beef and lamb were not completely cooked through and were cold. Ambience was nice. Not everything was available for dessert. Only three types of ice cream. A judgment came the moment we paid. Personally, I would rather go somewhere else.

Basically everything was okay at first. Unfortunately we had to wait 15 minutes until we even got the tablet to order (maybe 15 people in the restaurant). Food was okay, but not outstanding. You get the usual range of sushi, fried and grilled, although the selection is smaller than at other sushi chains. The dessert is also rather poor, you somehow miss something. Then it was generally very dark in the restaurant, but that is my own personal feeling. I would say the price of the dinner per person is not justified.

We ordered sushi to go on site. Even though we expected a wait, it took a full 45 minutes. We found that a bit long. The restaurant looked very good and cozy and the waitresses were all very friendly. So I could imagine eating there sometime. The price was also reasonable, sushi is expensive. It's a shame, compared to other pick-up services, there was no pick-up discount in the price. In terms of taste, the sushi was A1 with stars, I could have really fallen for it. The selection was also very varied and there was plenty to choose from for both fish lovers and veggie eaters. The star deduction is solely because of the price, which was really high. But as I said, no KO criterion.

Very crowded and loud. Delicious food, but some orders go missing. Unfortunately, you can't take any leftover food with you. After asking several times, we were given a tablet to order food. People who came after us were more able to eat 😔

The price-performance ratio has no connection here. The portions that were ordered were combined. If two people ordered the same thing, you had to pass the plate over and with finger food it was very uncomfortable if two people ate from one plate. Unfortunately, not all of the dishes that were ordered arrived. After 1 hour, one of us received the portion of the first round of orders. Two of our guests did not receive an ordered portion at all! It's all very disorganized and unstructured! For four people, €170, you can certainly choose a restaurant with an upscale atmosphere and also significantly quieter and more attractive. We ordered a dark wheat and got a light one. Our waiter then said: He didn't understand us. The service staff only seems to work with temporary workers who are not really qualified.

It was our first time in a restaurant where you can order your own food using tablets. We were seated at a table and... Waited. After 20 minutes and lots of waving, someone came and showed us everything The ambience is rather loud and probably aimed at a younger audience, which also explains the intrusive electronic music in the background. Out of 6 rounds the service didn't even manage to serve the food properly or completely. You have to coordinate well with the neighboring tables so that everyone gets their dishes. The food itself was between very tasty and inedible and everything in between. Overall, however, it is designed to ensure that the guest gets full quickly.

The atmosphere is fine, the staff is nice and friendly. Unfortunately the food is not as hoped. 80 percent of the food we received was lukewarm to cold. The food tasted good. There is always improvement. I don't know any cold dishes from competing stores. No reason to drive another half hour for this restaurant. A pity.

We were very disappointed today. Went there for the first time and after the second order you couldn't order anything from the grill because the ventilation stopped. Unfortunately, the restaurant has declined significantly compared to before. I base this on the following points: - Reservations are generally not accepted between 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. I then made a reservation for 6:30 p.m. and was offered an absolutely small table right at the exit of the restaurant, where I sat arm-in-arm with the couple at the next table. When I asked to change seats, I was told that the other seats (the larger tables) would not be occupied. In the end, the large tables remained free for our entire 3-hour visit. -The water bottle we ordered arrived, along with two glasses that had greasy fingerprints and cola residue from the previous person on them. We received new glasses upon request. - Twice that evening we received orders that we hadn't ordered. The food was placed on the table without a word. We then had to call someone again to have the tofu plates we didn't want taken away again. - The portion of breaded chicken is only half as large as before and arrived almost cold every time (I ordered it about 3 times that evening). -High price of around €35 ​​for dinner, plus €6.40 for a water bottle (0.75l) - the other drinks are also very expensive. Conclusion: Not a nice atmosphere, semi-good food, the stay was more like visiting an Asian fast food chain than a restaurant with such expensive prices. I won't come back again.

I recently visited Kikko Dinslaken and was absolutely thrilled with the culinary experience. The restaurant is located in the Neutorgalerie and offers a modern and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a wide range of Asian dishes including sushi, maki, sashimi, wok dishes and grilled dishes. I chose a combination of sushi and grill. The sushi was fresh and delicious, with perfectly cooked rice and fresh ingredients. The highlight for me was the Dragon Roll, a maki with salmon, avocado, cucumber and mango. The grilled meat was also very good, tender and juicy. The service was friendly and attentive. The service always tried to fulfill our wishes. Overall, I can fully recommend Kikko Dinslaken. It is an excellent restaurant with excellent cuisine and great service. A culinary experience that is worth it!

Freuen uns immer auf einen Abend im kikko. Sehr netter umsichtiger und prompter Service. Essen war wie immer klasse. Allerdings muss ich sagen die Musik die dort gespielt wird kann am Anfang des Besuchs nur als Bass wahrgenommen werden. Wird mit zunehmender Lautstärke der Gäste auch lauter und ich empfinde das dann als störend. Aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. Wir kommen gerne wieder liebes kikko Team

Es ist sehr leicht zu finden und auch kostenlose Park Möglichkeiten sind vorhanden mit ca. 5 min. Fußweg. Die Kellner sind alle sehr nett und fragen auch mehrmals ob alles in Ordnung ist. Das Essen ist vielfältig und für jeden ist etwas dabei auch für nicht Sushi Liebhaber. Das einzige was ich bemängeln muss ist der rohe Lachs. Jedesmal wenn ich diesen esse bekomme ich Probleme mit dem Magen (Durchfall und Erbrechen). Ansonsten ist es einfach Top dort und werde dort auch sicher noch paarmal essen gehen.

Sehr teuer geworden über 90€ für 2 Personen .... Dauert sehr lange bis der Service kommt mit dem iPad. Erst wurden wir weggesetzt weil wir zu zweit am 4er Tisch waren, danach wurde ein Pärchen am 4er Tisch gesetzt... Logik??? Sehr wuselig alles

Der eine Stern Abzug bzgl der Ambiente gilt nur der laufenden elektronischen Musik, hätte mir da doch eher etwas ruhigeren gewünscht. Ansonsten ist das Essen soweit ganz gut. Der Wiederkehr Faktor ist jedoch gering, allein wegen der Ambiente. Ansonsten TOP Service, die Armen sind ständig unterwegs

Wie sind nach langer Zeit Mal wieder hin. Abgesehen davon, dass der Preis für das Mittagsbuffet ordentlich angehoben worden ist, fand ich vor allem die Hähnchen Stücke und die Wings nicht lecker, das Brustfilet war nicht saftig wie sonst und auch kalt. Das Gleiche gilt auch für die Wings. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass es nicht frisch zubereitet war und schon kalt geworden ist. Bedienung wie immer sehr freundlich. Ambiente nicht meins .

Einfach nur zu empfehlen. Da wir an einem Feiertag da waren und es sehr voll war, war es natürlich auch sehr laut dort. Was natürlich nicht die Qualität des Essens und des Service beeinflusst hat.

Finsteres Ambiente, viel zu dunkel für ein Restaurant. Winzige Portionen. Ich habe die Nr. 33 (Rinderfilet mit Knoblauch und Gemüse, dazu Reis) bestellt, zum mitnehmen und zu Hause angekommen musste ich feststellen, dass ich tatsächlich nur Fleisch in der Box hatte, ohne Gemüse, ohne Reis. Eine Frechheit, ich fühle mich veräppelt. Selbstverständlich werde ich in diese Lokalität keinen Fuß mehr setzen.

Ondanks dat ik hier niet reserveert heb toch een plek krijgen heel goed,wel 1ste etage maar maakt voor mij niet uit.. Eten is hier nog altijd goed geweest.

Alle werden immer glücklich, egal ob Allergiker, Veganer, Schwangere… Wir kommen seit 2015 regelmäßig und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Ich empfehle ausdrücklich das Restaurant abends zu besuchen wegen der größeren Auswahl, dann aber am besten reservieren.

Das Hühnchen hier ist so lecker, dass ich nie etwas vergleichbares hatte. Auch der Ort gefällt mir. Und es ist auch noch all you can eat. Ein Traum :D

Leider nicht sehr überzeugend - die Misosuppe war extrem salzig, die frittierten Sachen schmeckten alle gleich und nach altem Öl, und die Sushi waren nur mittelmäßig. Leider mal wieder ein Beweis dafür, dass 'all you can eat' keine gute Idee ist, wenn man Wert auf hohe Qualität legt.

Für einen Samstag Abend mit entsprechend hoher Auslastung waren Küche und Service heute extrem gut aufgestellt und sehr sehr schnell, Hut ab! Sehr bemüht und freundlich. Die Preise sind mittlerweile schon recht knackig... Das Essen war aber wieder sehr gut. Einziges kleines Manko ist, dass man mittlerweile sieht, dass das Restaurant schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat: Das Mobiliar ist zum Teil etwas abgewohnt/vermackt/durchgesessen.

Also dieser eine Stern ist für dieses unfreundliche und freche Restaurant noch mehr als zu viel. Wir hatten eine Bestellung für mehrere Personen aufgegeben. Es wurde explizit darauf hingewiesen, die Portionen für die jeweiligen Personen abzuteilen.Da ein Gericht und eine Portion Reis nicht geliefert wurden, riefen wir dort an. Während dieses Anrufes bekamen wir null Verständnis und bekamen noch mit, wie sich die Mitarbeiterinnen darüber lustig machten. Nach einen weiteren Anruf, den wir tätigen mussten um dann endlich unser bezahltes Essen zu bekommen, wurde nur widerwillig eingestimmt, dass wir uns es ja abholen könnten. Es gab hier keinerlei Entgegenkommen. Im Gegenteil, es gab freche und rotzige Antworten oben drauf. Dort angekommen ging das ganze Spiel weiter. Hier sah man absolut nicht ein, uns unser Essen auszuhändigen. Es wurde sogar damit begründet, dass zwei Portionen in eine Schale gemacht wurden. Wie kann es sein, dass gerade zur Pandemiezeit, davon ausgegangen wird, dass zwei Personen die das selbe bestellt haben, auch aus einer Schale essen sollten. Kundenfreundlichkeit, Zufriedenheit und Anstand werden hier ganz klein geschrieben. Nie, nie wieder !!!!

Bin ich wohl etwas zu konservativ mir mein Essen mit 4 anderen auf dem Laptop zu teilen und anschließend zu überlegen wer was bestellt hat :-) Aber das ist halt mediales foodordering.....
