Bereits mehrfach den Mittagstisch zum Abholen im Home Office bestellt und immer wieder über die frischen und leckeren Gerichte begeistert. Der Service stimmt und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist fair. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder hin.

Essen war Super,Biergarten sehr schön ,Bedienung top .Ein schönes Mittagessen mit grosser Vielfalt .

Super leckeres Essen. Ich war erste mal da und war sehr positiv überrascht, Essen super, sehr nettes Personal und schöne ruhige Atmosphäre im Garten.

Speisen und Getränke wurden sehr schnell serviert und waren sehr lecker. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Waren heute zum Essen dort. Kann mich den guten Bewertungen nicht anschließen. Essen nur lauwarm und vom Gemüse kaum was zu finden, 2 Pilze und Paprikastreifen, Rest ein paar Zwiebeln und undefinierbarer Salat. Als Nachtisch gebackene Ananas, war im Fett der Ente ausgebauten, ungenießbar. Auf Reklamation keine Reaktion. Nie wieder!

Zweimal hintereinander da gewesen, waren mit dem Wohnmobil angereist und das Restaurant ist in 5 Min. zu erreichen. Sehr leckere Speisen, freundliches Personal

We've eaten there several times, and the food has always been delicious and freshly prepared. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the value for money is good. We've always been completely satisfied.

Ordered the PED PHAD SAPPAROD to take away. Delicious crispy duck freshly prepared, Could have done with al little bit more vegetables, but otherwise very satisfactory.

I don't quite understand the positive reviews. The ambiance is nice and the service is okay, but the food is rather lackluster for Thai connoisseurs. All main courses contain flavor enhancers (sadly, unacceptable), the meat is low-quality, and the wonderful, fresh ingredients typical of Thai cuisine, like coriander, lemongrass, or kaffir lime leaves, are missing. It's a shame.

I definitely recommend this restaurant! The food was excellent and not at all greasy. There's also a huge selection of dishes. The value for money is absolutely reasonable. The ambiance is very cozy and stylish! We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

The Khun Chai Thai Restaurant in Melsungen is highly recommended, I can only say that it is a real highlight! We stopped here when we were passing through because of the good reviews and it was really good food and a nice atmosphere. Food arrived very quickly and so after an hour we were outside again and were able to continue on our way. Really recommended!

Unfortunately, it wasn't a very convincing evening. I was there for the first time today with work colleagues. We were 5 people, with reservation. Our table was in a corner on a room divider (open beams), unfortunately it was far too narrow there. With a body weight of 55 kg, there was hardly any space and the chair could just be pulled back to squeeze between the table and the sitting position. Unfortunately, my chair also tipped extremely. The waitress came quickly and took the drinks and food orders. The food came 5 minutes after the drinks. At first you are happy about the speed, unfortunately the disadvantage was that the vegetables in the dishes (I had the 121 fried glass noodles with vegetables) were still raw. The broccoli and peppers were raw. It was just a handful of glass noodles, 5 strips of pepper, 3 broccoli florets and some iceberg lettuce. €11.90 is a proud price. Furthermore, we were ignored and left high and dry for the last 40 minutes. Unfortunately it's not worth another visit for me.

Wir waren unangemeldet unter der Woche abends dort, weil ich wieder einmal die früher so wunderbaren und wohlschmeckenden Gerichte essen wollte. Als wir um 17:30 Uhr dort ankamen, waren nur 2 Tische besetzt, aber angeblich alles reserviert. Nach einigem Hin und Her wies man uns einen Tisch zu, an dem wir für ca. 1 Stunde sitzen bleiben durften. Soweit alles ok, da kann man mit leben, wenn man nicht vorbestellt hat. Während unserer Wartezeit konnten wir einen Blick in die Küche werfen, dort hielten sich mindestens 6 Personen auf, wobei lediglich 2 Personen als Küchenpersonal erkennbar waren, alle anderen trugen Straßenkleidung mit Jacke, Mütze usw. so hat in keinem Fall jemand in der Küche etwas zu suchen... Ich bestellte dann als Vorspeise einen Glasnudelsalat (Nr. 27) der wirklich sehr gut war. Leicht scharf, genau so, wie er sein sollte, also alles super. Mein Mann hatte sich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nur gebratenes Gemüse mit Reis bestellt. Ich hatte ein anderes Gericht gewählt, das mit 2 Chilischoten als scharf ausgewiesen war. Bei der Bestellung wies ich dann auch noch einmal ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass es bitte wirklich auch scharf sein sollte. Dann kam unser Essen... Das angeblich "gebratene Gemüse" sah aus wie Wasserleiche und schwamm in einer wässrigen geschmacklosen Brühe... nix gebraten, wie man das sonst so kennt. Mein Gericht war komplett geschmacklos, an scharf überhaupt nicht zu denken. Wir hatten mehrfach versucht der Bedienung zu winken, da wir um etwas scharfes Gewürz bitten wollten, wurden aber ignoriert. Als wir dann zahlen wollten, kam natürlich Frage, ob es geschmeckt habe, woraufhin wir unsere Mängelpunkte freundlich nannten. Leider merkte man sofort, dass sich die Bedienung auf den Schlips getreten fühlte. Wir bekamen dann die Antwort, dass das Gemüse bei ihnen eben genau so serviert werde, das sei Tradition und sie könnten das Essen nicht scharf würzen, da die deutschen Gäste das nicht vertragen würden. Zudem stellten wir fest, dass auch die Preise angezogen hatten. Bei guter Qualität kein Problem, aber in unserm Fall...

We came to this restaurant relatively spontaneously with a large group. Not only was there absolutely delicious food, but I have rarely experienced a restaurant that is so well organized. Everything is done manually, there are virtually no waiting times. The only thing I have to wait for is the men's room! But with a little sporting skill you can prevent yourself from falling into the urinal. Therefore, please be careful on the step in front of the men's toilet! But this is actually the only criticism, otherwise everything is great!

Otherwise we always go to Hann. Drove to Münden, but this Thai place is now closed forever. The Chinese are also good in Kaufungen. But now we have discovered this restaurant in Melsungen. Ate there again after 2 years and was very disappointed. We ordered duck with vegetables. The duck was a bit dry but still ok, the vegetables consisted of 3 mushrooms, 4 small pieces of pepper, the rest were cabbage leaves. The “missing” vegetables were also looked for at the neighboring table. The schnapps on the house is no longer available and the nice refreshing towels are no longer available either. Unfortunately, I was extremely thirsty for the rest of the evening, which I always get with flavor enhancers... We won't eat there anymore.

The best place to eat Thai food in Melsungen

In my opinion, food quality and preparation have declined significantly in recent years. When we were guests with a group of more than 8 people, the entire menu cards were simply placed on the edge of the table and we were supposed to distribute them ourselves. You can do that if you run a Thai snack bar, but the prices collide because I want to invite my family somewhere without any additional effort and pay for the service. Just laid it down and walked away, that's not appropriate, it's disrespectful and no one wants to come back... it's a shame.

Never again will everything be out of date. Tables are crooked and crooked as you can see in the photo. And the food was better this time, unfortunately it was below par... So I definitely don't need that again.

Very nice restaurant with attentive service. The food is okay (we had a fish and a chicken dish, as well as a glass noodle dalat and fried vegetables), but in my opinion it could be refined in terms of the sauces and the use of spices and herbs.

Ich war mit meinem Ehemann in dem vielfach gelobten und gut bewerteten Thai Chun Chai Restaurant in Melsungen, insbesondere auch, da es dort das mir aus verschiedenen Asienreisen sehr gut bekannte Gericht Phad Gra Prau gibt. Als die Vorspeisen eintrafen, waren wir das erste Mal enttäuscht, die Suppe Tom Kha Gai war süß wie eine Nachspeise, schmeckte sehr nach Geschmacksverstärker und erinnerte nur entfernt an die mir wohl bekannte Art der Zubereitung in Thailand. Mein Mann hatte die gemischte Vorspeise auf „Hibachi-Feuer“ am Tisch bestellt, diese war okay, wobei wir uns beide bis heute fragen, wo war das oder was soll das „Hibachi-Feuer“ am Tisch sein. Zudem wäre es gut gewesen, wenn kurz gesagt worden wäre, welche einzelnen Bestandteile die Vorspeise hatte. Die Hauptspeise von meinem Mann (Ente mit Reis) war einfach nur fad und süß, nicht pikant, wie in der Karte beschrieben. Kommen wir zum negativen Höhepunkt, mein mir sehr gut bekanntes Gericht „Phad Gra Prau“. Als dieses ankam, sah ich direkt, dass das Gericht nichts mit dem Original in Thailand zu tun hatte. Ich habe die Bedienung darauf angesprochen, als Erklärung bekam ich, dass Gericht sei nach deutscher Art zubereitet. Weiterhin wurde gesagt, dass man das Restaurant mindestens einen Tag vorher informieren muss, falls man authentisch thailändisch essen möchte… Zudem dazugesagt werden muss, dass wir bei der Bestellung nicht darüber informiert worden sind, dass das Restaurant nicht thailändisch thailändisch kocht, sondern deutsch thailändisch! Insgesamt hätten wir uns den Besuch gespart, wenn wir vorher gewusst hätten, dass im Restaurant nicht authentisch gekocht wird. Wobei dieses schade ist, da das Lokal sehr gemütlich ist, wir uns aber fragen, woher kommen die ganzen guten Rezessionen?

Family business, very friendly and fast service and excellently prepared and perfectly seasoned dishes. Good price/performance ratio. Just a few steps from the Melsunger motorhome parking space!

Very pleasant restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. You immediately feel like you are in Thailand. Our meals were good to very good. Prices were ok. The selection of dishes is very large. The preparation went very quickly and was served in a friendly manner by the attentive wait staff.

The food was always delicious and fresh. Service nice and friendly. Danger. Even if the restaurant says vouchers are valid for 1 year. People like to argue with them, vouchers are generally valid for 3 years. (Law) New review Went there for dinner today April 28, 24 with 8 people. The food was better, the service more attentive and friendly. Drinks were forgotten, as were chopsticks for eating and the fact that the guest helped to clear things away seemed to have become a matter of course. The starters came a few minutes apart and the main courses anyway. When I order duck with vegetables I expect vegetables and not 4 pieces of pineapple, 1/4 mushroom, 2 strips of pepper and 3 - 4 strips of onion. That is very poor. The noodles I was eating across from me were dripping with fat. 1 bowl of rice for everyone was enough, but 2 smaller ones would have made it easier. So the bowl was constantly passed back and forth at the table. The restaurant was a little more than half full, so there was still room for improvement.
