Kerstin's is a very nice and cozy restaurant. There is a "covered" outdoor area so that you can enjoy your meal outside even in bad weather. The staff is very friendly and the food... yum! Very, very tasty! We can only recommend it and would be happy to come back ourselves. 😊

The portions are small, the prices are high and the service is poor. If you want to fill up there, it's best to order 2 portions. Stewed vegetables are just carrots. In addition, 4 out of 8 side dishes at our table were wrong. When I was told, they simply said that it was correct. It didn't. In addition, there is an extremely long waiting time. No recommendation.

We spent a wonderful evening as a family in this magical location. The food was fantastic, fresh and very tasty, we all loved it! The entire staff was very warm and friendly, the owner was extremely personable, we felt completely at home and will be happy to come back. The restaurant rooms are very lovingly and tastefully furnished, but due to the beautiful weather we opted for a table in the beautiful garden.

We chose the vegetarian summer surprise menu and are thrilled. It was really delicious and extraordinary. The service was good and we felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back! 😊

I was there with my girlfriend last week. We found it very cozy 😊 The service was great and we found it very nice that the owner took the time for a short conversation at the table to ask if everything was OK. The food was very tasty and the price was totally reasonable. The trip from Hagen was definitely worth it, we'll be back for the reindeer burger meal at the latest.

Terrific! We were completely impressed by the food and the service. Great combinations of the individual components and the taste is simply fantastic. The Swedish dessert trio in particular is a must and the home-baked breads clearly show the kitchen's skills. Our waiter and the owner were in a great mood and up for fun. Price, quality and portions are right! We from Neuss would love to come back there.

Premiere for us today - what a fantastic meal!!! Exquisite ingredients, an unusual but convincing combination of Nordic and Westphalian cuisine in all respects. Homemade sauces and marinades, the freshest ingredients - simply a brilliant experience!! We'll definitely be back soon!

Unfortunately, the second time at Kerstins was a real disappointment. After we left the restaurant enthusiastically about 6 weeks ago after our first visit, the second prank was about to follow and we were disappointed across the board. The whole thing started with the greeting in which we were informed that all of the menu items were no longer available. The mussels have also been deleted. OK. This means the selection of dishes is reduced by at least 30%. But we don't despair and want to continue with the delicious Swedish cocktails from last time. Elderberry or blueberry. We take blueberry and are disappointed again. What happened to the delicious cocktail from last time? NO berries, NO ice cream, nothing except a sprig of dill. Infused syrup. Hello, it's still working. And when you ask, you are told that the blueberries weren't included and that many guests don't want fruit in the cocktail anyway because of allergies. 1. the EDEKA is 100 meters away and has lots of berries. 2. You can ask the guests. Then the food. The beef with the GIANT SHRIMP turned out to be beef with MINI shrimp. When you asked, you were told that the size was different and that you had to add a few more. What a statement. Kerstins, anyone who offers king prawns must also supply king prawns and not another product. And all without asking or informing the guest. If you order a sofa, you don't want an armchair delivered. I'll only mention in passing that the red wine we ordered was fridge cold. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. The service was obviously tried hard and friendly, but it doesn't live up to the standard. I think that you can expect that the water bottle with a cooler will not only be placed on the table, but that the first glass will also be poured. The assignment of the side dishes to the dishes could only be solved by asking questions. But that's not the fault of the friendly service staff, but rather their poor instructions. We skipped dessert. Conclusion A bitter disappointment after our first very positive impression. In particular, the communicationless serving of a false, cheaper product instead of the one shown on the menu, as well as the excuse about the design of the cocktail are an absolute NOGO. A pity

Kerstin's Nordic the Xth visit on April 21st, 2924 It was a poem again, the starter and the pea cream soup with the croutons. Of course also the main course and especially the dessert. A feast for the eyes and the palate. Many thanks also to the nice colleague from service. Very pleasant and attentive. Been there for the fifth time now and have always been impressed. Very pleasant service and tasty food. Please keep it up. Thanks We were amazed, we didn't expect anything like that. The food was excellent, there is nothing to complain about. I cough on fake Michelin stars. You deserve one. The starter from the 3-course menu alone was a culinary delight. The main course couldn't be topped either. Everything is fresh and the vegetables are crunchy. The menage was and remained decoration for us. Everything was perfectly seasoned. All you can do is roll your eyes at the dessert. Simply delicious. Thank you for the beautiful day. We'd love to come back.

The employees were very nice and attentive. When paying separately, it was a bit complicated and time-consuming. Apart from that, the restaurant is highly recommended.

Menu carousel very good, but quite expensive. Especially since drinks are sometimes charged additionally. We have seen this solved better elsewhere. At times we had to wait longer.

At Kerstins there is no a la carte offer during the menu carousel in February/March. But that doesn't matter at all, because the four courses of the menu were convincing across the board, both in terms of taste and presentation. Requests for changes due to allergies/intolerances were also responded to at short notice because they had not been registered in advance. A good idea, although perhaps absurd for some wine drinkers, is to ask that you briefly "rinse out" your glass with mineral water between each individual wine in order to reduce the amount of detergent used per guest. Of course, when changing from white to red, a new glass was handed out.

If you appreciate good cuisine lovingly prepared, Kerstin's is the right place for you... Price/performance ratio is right... Staff very friendly and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.

Yesterday we went for a ride on the menu carousel at Kerstin's and we were both very excited. The restaurant is housed in an old mill and many of the old facilities are decorated decoratively. The reception was friendly and the service from start to finish was professional and at the same time warm and uncomplicated. Finally, the food: A colorful mix of small specialties, all perfectly prepared and arranged. Everything tastes great and there are lots of unusual combinations. We enjoyed 3 hours with all our senses!

Six of us went to the menu carousel and went to Kerstins for the first time and we felt really comfortable: friendly and attentive service staff, a cozy, stylish, rustic atmosphere and a menu that thrilled us from A to Z! The journey from Essen and Oberhausen was more than worth it! Thank you for the enjoyable evening! It won't be the last...

Yesterday wasn't the first time we were at Kerstin's in the Alte Mühle. The three of us enjoyed the menu carousel. Although I forgot to mention my friend's garlic intolerance when making the reservation, this was dealt with competently and a replacement course was served. The food was, as always, excellent. Attractively presented, very good quality and exceptionally tasty. The service, as always, was very friendly and helpful. We are already looking forward to the next visit. Very nice evening spent at Kerstins. We had a 4-course menu as part of the menu carousel and therefore we couldn't choose the individual dishes. The dishes were special and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would be happy to try a la carte next time.

We booked the menu carousel yesterday. There were excellent dishes with wonderfully matching wines. The Nordic-Westphalian combinations were also extremely visually appealing on the plate. The service (two very friendly and committed young men - it's great that something like this still exists) can only be praised. Perhaps the courses came a little quickly one after the other; but we could have asked for a break. The restaurant is decorated in a very rustic style, which is certainly due to the building, the Old Mill. We had a really wonderful evening. The quality of the espresso alone dropped a little. - But that is criticism at a high level.

01/20/2024 I actually wanted to review my second experience with Kerstin's Restaurant, but I'm only allowed to write one review on Google. OK, then I'll expand on this review from October 2023. CATERING from Kerstin's delivered to Hagen on January 20th, 2024 6 out of 5 stars*****: The dishes on the buffet = (elk goulash, fried Icelandic salmon fillet, pork fillet on broad beans, plus starters, salad, potato soup, divine almond cake and kladkakka with berry ragout and sweet sour cream for dessert) = everything was super tasty, to the highest degree praised by all (!) 40 guests The presentation of the food = very appetizing and appealing The entire process = uncomplicated and flexible and the food was delivered on time and could be eaten hot That was the icing on the cake (not just the icing on the cake) to our successful celebration. 100% recommendation from us. Many thanks to Kerstin's team. October 31, 2023 The first time we visited the restaurant was on Halloween - combined with a tour of Huckarde, in the bookstore with small dishes and in the on-site studio with a glass of champagne and then we went back to the restaurant and a great menu was presented there between the courses was crowned with a reading of a spooky Icelandic crime novel. The entire experience, the atmosphere and the food were unusual, exciting and yet so harmonious and everything fit together perfectly. When we ate we finally had a taste explosion in our mouths again, with new and familiar and always incredibly tasty spices and flavor combinations that became an experience. We were thrilled. It was also a secret rehearsal dinner because we were looking for a caterer for my husband's 60th birthday in January 2024 and it worked out, Kerstins will support us at our "Westphalian meets Nordic" celebration. We ate there on a Sunday afternoon and luckily made a reservation in advance. Parking is very easy on the street in front or in the parking lot behind it. We sat in a side room where you have to climb a small staircase. It was very cozy there, but it was actually a little too dark for me to eat. I like to see what's on my plate. The service was very friendly and fun, but not too intrusive. For meals we had 1 x vegetarian burger, 1 x goose breast and leg dish and 2 x goose leg dish. Each goose dish was accompanied by a starter soup. Overall, everything tasted very good and the burger with potato pancakes was something different. It was just a shame that the goose breast was too dry, perhaps in/on the oven for a little too long.

Went there with a group for a great Christmas dinner. We had the 3-course Christmas menu with different main courses (elk ragout, goose and vegetarian) which were all excellent. The creative and very finely balanced Nordic-Westphalian starter with (among other things) a wonderful trout tartare and an almost melting pickled salmon was also a great start. Together with the dessert, delicious wines, attentive service and the beautiful ambience, it was a successful evening! Although we've never had anything to complain about, Kerstin's is one of the few restaurants that keeps getting better over the years. Gladly again and again!

Although the reservation confirmation was missing and we got the appointment at very short notice - we drove there quickly, 20 minutes late - we were greeted warmly and looked after lovingly. It's always exceptionally beautiful with you and extremely tasty. We're looking forward to next time.

Gemütliches kleines Restaurant (4-5 Tische) in rustikaler und geschichtlicher Umgebung mitten im Arbeitsraum einer alten Mühle. Die Speisen sind ausgefallen und sehr lecker. Habe ich so in der Form bisher noch nicht kennengelernt. Der Fisch und das Fleisch waren klasse und auf den Punkt. Kleines Manko: manche angebotene Speisen und Getränke waren nicht verfügbar. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Wir waren heute zum ersten, aber sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal im Kerstin's! Es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war ein Geschmackserlebnis, die Soßen ein Traum. Die ausgesuchten Weine waren köstlich und passten perfekt zu den Speisen. Das Ambiente ist sehr urig in der alten Mühle. Toll restauriert und in Szene gesetzt. Das Service-Personal sehr nett, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Das Restaurant ist gut erreichbar, die Reservierung war kurzfristig möglich und wir konnten in der Nähe parken. Das Ambiente ist ordentlich und gemütlich und ein wenig "skandi", was natürlich Sinn macht, insgesamt sehr urig und schön. Die Toiletten sind modern und bei unserem Besuch waren diese sehr, sehr sauber. Das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut und einzigartig! Die Sauce war traumhaft, das Fleisch ein Highlight! Die Servicekräfte waren super nett und aufmerksam, uns mangelte es an nichts. Unser Essen kam zügig und war superlecker und frisch, wir konnten uns überhaupt nicht beschweren. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist mehr als angemessen. Wir werden definitv wiederkommen.

Das Essen war wirklich köstlich und ein Geschmackserlebnis. Die Saucen ein Traum. Alles frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet. Die Desserts zum dahinschmelzen. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen ist etwas länger ... aber das Warten lohnt sich. Lange nicht mehr so gut und außergewöhnlich gegessen. Das Personal ist freundlich und strahlt Ruhe aus. Das Lokal ist urgemütlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Heute haben wir es endlich mal in die Alte Mühle nach Huckarde geschafft. Es hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen - freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, tolles Essen, feiner Wein, das alles in dem rustikalen Ambiente der Alten Mühle, toll! Wir hatten gratinierte Miesmuscheln und gebratene Blutwurst im Speckmantel als Vorspeisen, als Hauptgericht beide "Surf & Turf" mit Rindermedaillons und Gambas und zum Dessert drei verschiedene Sorten Schokomousse mit einem Räuberlöffel für die Gattin 😉 Dazu haben wir uns je ein schönes Glas Pfälzer Rosé gegönnt und ich hatte als Dessertwein noch einen herrlichen Riesling. Es war rundum gelungen, der Preis der gebotenen Qualität absolut angemessen, wir werden sicher nicht das letzte Mal bei Kerstins gewesen sein!

Essen war sehr lecker. Die Einrichtung ist außergewöhnlich und sehr gemütlich. Praktische Info: Wenn man niemanden am Handy erreicht kann man auch eine WhatsApp schreiben an die Nummer, da bekommt man dann auch eine Antwort. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Ich habe hier mit einer Freundin gegessen, und es war rundum toll: der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, das Essen war absolut vorzüglich und schön angerichtet. Meine Freundin hatte das vegane Menü, und auch sie war sehr begeistert. Wir hatten bei der Reservierung angekündigt, dass wir einen Hund mitbringen, und haben dann zu zweit einen Tisch für 4 am Rand bekommen, bei dem schon ein Stuhl weggenommen worden war, damit der Hund dort liegen konnte.

Tisch für 4 Personen online reserviert. Die Wartezeit bis das Essen serviert wurde war länger. Das Essen von jedem einzelnen ein anderes war sehr lecker Fleisch und Fisch auf Punkt. Dessert bestellt und auch der sehr gut und alles selbstgemacht. Weiterempfehlung für einen gemütlichen Abend mit netten Gesprächen und gutem Essen.

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Abend bei kreativem, fantastischem Essen und tollem Service genossen. Für uns war es ein kulinarischer Kurzurlaub. Hier stimmt alles und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen ist zum Teil ausgefallen und geschmacklich wirklich gut. Ich habe lange nicht mehr so viele verschiedene Aromen schmecken dürfen. Die Lebensmittel waren auch sehr gut zubereitet. Es gibt auch interessante Biere. Auch in Alkohol frei. Das Ambiente empfand ich als toll und urig. Man kann schön draußen sitzen.

Wir waren heute bei der Veranstaltung Koks trifft Korn. Sehr schöne Führung auf der Kokerei Hansa. Interessante Informationen zur Mühle. Das 3 Gang Menü auf der Terrasse war toll. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Chefin hat sich persönlich erkundigt, wie uns das Essen gefallen hat. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen war hervorragend! Vorspeise, Hauptgerichte und Nachtisch waren wirklich super lecker. Die Sauce zum pulled Lamm hätte ich am liebsten abfüllen lassen, um die auch Zuhause zu haben. Service war freundlich.

Wir hatten das Menükarussell-Essen. Es war perfekt. Solch leckere Speisen findet man nicht oft.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen. Das Personal ist sehr freubdlich. Super!!

Unser Menüabend war von der ersten Minute an perfekt! Das Essen ist eine gelungene Fusion aus nordisch-westfälischer Küche und überrascht mit gewohnt regionaler Frische und Kreativität. Der Service war von Beginn bis Ende aufmerksam, freundlich und on Point...dafür ein riesen Lob! Die Location ist wie das Essen eine gute Mischung aus nordisch-westfälischer Gemütlichkeit. Das größte Lob bekommt aber wie gesagt das Team um Kerstin und ihrem Mann!!!

Ein toller, persönlicher und sehr freundlicher Service kombiniert mit der schwedisch / westfälischen Küche. Aus meiner Sicht ein echter Geheimtipp und sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir haben an der Veranstaltung "Historisch-kulinarisch - Koks trifft Korn" teilgenommen. Die Führung auf Kokerei Hansa und die Mühlenführung im Kerstins waren sehr interessant. Das anschließende Essen war sehr lecker - beide Orte werden wir auf jeden Fall ein weiteres Mal besuchen!

Leckere nordisch-westfälische Küche, die man nicht jeden Tag auf die Zunge bekommt! Es werden regelmäßig Veranstaltung angeboten, die etwas Kultur und Historie des Stadtteils Huckarde mit den Kulinarischen verbindet. Kurzweilig und verdammt lecker. Wechselnde Monatsmenüs oder auch Essen a la Carte. Da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Solche Restaurants braucht unsere Stadt! Weiter so!

Sehr gutes Essen… Zweiter Besuch am 21.05.24 um 13Uhr: sehr gutes Essen ABER Bedienung war der Gastro nicht würdig bzw. Anfängerniveau, Restaurant war extrem voll, meiner Meinung nach überbelegt und demnach sehr stickig… sind nach dem Essen direkt gegangen hätten sonst Nachspeise etc. geordert… Essen aber wie schon erwähnt, sehr gut!

Hat phantastisch geschmeckt und die Kombinationen sind einmalig. Preise sind auch OK

Wir waren im Rahmen "Historisch-kulinarisch" bei Kerstins. Los ging es bei strahlendem Sonnenschein mit einer verkürzten Führung der Kokerei Hansa. Dann zu Kerstins zum 2 Gänge Menü. Marius hat erklärend durch die Mühle geführt und etwas zum Menü erzählt. Das Essen war ein voller Genuss. Wir werden wiederkommen 👍

Sehr leckeres Essen in einem schönen Ambiente. Nette Mitarbeiter. Inhaber kommt persönlich zum Tisch und fragt nach der Zufriedenheit. Die Kombination zwischen nordischen und westfälischen ist sehr gut gelungen sowohl im Ambiente als auch im kulinarischen.

Als erstes vorweg das Essen war sau lecker und viel besser als wir erwartet hatten Das Ambiente in der alten Mühle ist sehr schön und lädt zum verweilen ein Was ich sehr gut finde das keine Pommes oder ähnliches auf der Karte steht, leider heutzutage kaum noch zu finden Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell Trotz allen Lobes, gibt es ein Kritikpunkt. Die Wartezeit bis das Essen auf dem Tisch stand war sehr lang und mehr als grenzwertig.

Wir haben schon sehr, sehr lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen - ganz großes Kino :-). Wir leben seit über 25 Jahren in Berlin, haben aber Dortmunder Wurzeln und wann immer wir Karten für unseren Lieblingsverein bekommen, machen wir uns auf den Weg und schauen dann natürlich auch, wo man lecker essen kann. In Zukunft schauen wir nicht mehr so viel, sondern gehen direkt ins Kerstins. Wir haben Karfreitag ein super leckeres Menü bekommen, das allein schon optisch eine Augenweide war und sich geschmacklich nicht hinter einem Sterne-Restaurant verstecken muß; ganz im Gegenteil. Das Ganze wurde mit einem sehr aufmerksamen wie freundlichen Service perfekt abgerundet. Zum Abschluss kam dann noch Kerstin, die Chefin, an jeden Tisch und nahm sich für jeden Gast sehr viel Zeit. Man merkt, hier steckt viel persönliches Herzblut und Engagement drin. Wir freuen uns bereits auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Ihre zukünftigen Stammkunden, Familie Rheder aus Berlin.

Die etwas längere Wartezeit aufs Essen hat sich durchaus gelohnt. Man sitzt in einem angenehmen Ambiente. Die Speisen sind sehr ansprechend angerichtet, von hoher Qualität und geschmacklich top. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Super leckere Gerichte und Menüs in einem schönen, stimmigen Ambiente! Dazu noch ein wahnsinnig zuvorkommender Service. Auch die Ausrichtung auf die westfälische und nordische Küche ist etwas erfrischend neues. Wir können das Kerstins uneingeschränkt empfehlen und gehen immer wieder gerne dorthin essen!

Tolles Lokal. Sehr geschmackvolle und ansprechend präsentierte Gerichte. Sowohl Fisch-/ wie auch Fleischgerichte top. Wir waren im Rahmen des Menue Karussell da, Preis-/Leistung mehr als angemessen. Großzügige Weinreichung. Wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder hin. Heute waren wir zum Karfreitagsmenue. Wir waren wieder mehr als zufrieden. Unsere Begleitung, die zum ersten Mal im Kerstin's waren, waren ebenfalls begeistert. Wieder 5 Sterne und wir kosten weiter :-)

Wir waren im Rahmen des Menükarussells hier und alles hat gepasst. Essen war super, Preis-Leistung hat gepasst und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Im Rahmen des Menü Karussell haben wir zu viert sehr lecker gegessen und getrunken, alles auf den Punkt und reichlich. Bestimmt bald wieder.

Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Sehr interessante & leckere Küche und guter Service. Die Produkte waren qualitativ sehr hochwertig und ausgezeichnet zubereitet. Sehr überragender Besuch und definitiv eine Weiterempfehlung.

Wir waren dort zum Menükarussell und hatten sowohl die vegane Variante, als auch den Fisch und das Fleisch. Alles war super lecker. Der Service war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Ich war gestern mit meinen Eltern zum Menü Karussel da und wir waren alle begeistert: - Ganz toller, aufmerksamer Service - Sehr leckere und außergewöhnliche Speisen - Hübsches Ambiente - Preis/Leistung tip top - ein to go give away, wo die Idee auch außergewöhnlich ist und Freude bereitet hat Wir freuen uns sehr, ein mega Restaurant gefunden zu haben, wo wir definitiv wieder kommen werden 😊 Danke euch!

Das Essen ist sehr gut und der Service ist sehr professionell. Leider waren einige Gäste betrunken und haben sich zunehmend anstrengend benommen.

Mein Mann und ich waren mit einem befreundeten Paar zu Menükarussell im Kerstins. Sowohl unsere Freunde als auch wir waren rundum glücklich und zufrieden mit dem Abend. Die Resevierung funktionierte reibungslos. Zur Parkplatzsuche sollte man etwas Zeit einplanen (der hauseigene Parklplatz war schon voll), aber auch das war letztlich kein Problem. Das Ambiente in der Alten Mühle hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt, der Hund unserer Freunde hat zur Begrüßung sogar ohne Nachfrage eine Schüssel mit Wasser bekommen. Sehr aufmerksam und für uns ein Zeichen hervorragender Gastfreundlichkeit! Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Kleinere Unsicherheiten wurden damit begründet, dass die Kellnerin noch nicht lange dort arbeitet, waren aber überhaupt kein Problem. Alles lief reibungslos und obwohl es sehr voll war, kamen die einzelnen Gänge und begleitenden Weine immer genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt. Das Essen war ein Genuss! Sowohl das Fisch- als auch das Fleischmenü waren durchweg ein Traum. Die ungewöhnlichen Kombinationen und die Mischung aus westfälischer und skandinavischer Küche haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Alles war auch liebevoll angerichtet. Der raffinierte "Süße Löffel" und das "Dessert to go" haben uns dann zum Abschluss noch restlos glücklich gemacht! Alles in allem ein toller und gelungener Abend, wir haben schon den nächsten Besuch geplant! Vielen Dank und alles Gute!

Wir haben heute ein wirklich tolles Menü gegessen. Es war perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt, die Größe der Portionen genau richtig, der Wein war passend, das Ambiente stimmig! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen in außergewöhnlicher Umgebung. Es war ein schöner (langer) Abend. Meckern auf hohem Niveau: das kleine Dessert ließe sich noch etwas verbessern und die Wartezeit zwischen den Gängen etwas verkürzen... aber trotzdem ein gelungenes Menü. Gerne wieder

Tolles Nordisches Restaurant. Das Karussell Menü ist sehr zu empfehlen und preislich mehr als fair. Der Nachtisch Löffel hatte noch Luft nach oben, wobei der Nachtisch to go dann wieder sehr gut war

Das Kerstins ist in einer alten Mühle, liebevoll restauriert und mit Original Elementen einer Mühle dekoriert. Viel Holz und ein gemütliches Ambiente. Der Raum war aber ein wenig kalt. Die Getränkeauswahl ist sehr gut, Wein, diverse Biersorten, hausgemachte Limo ( Blaubeere, mmhhh), ausgefallene Schnäpse und Liköre. Wir hatten den trockenen Rose, die Limo und einen Aquavit. Gruß aus der Küche gibt es nur beim Menu. Als Vorspeise hatten wir den Schwedenteller und das Forellentartar, leider ohne Pumpernickelbrösel. Elchschinken war heute leider nicht verfügbar. Hauptspeisen waren Heilbutt ( Fang des Tages) mit Lakritzsauce, Gemüse und Drillinge. Sauce war köstlich, nicht zu lakritzig und die Drillinge schön cross. Fisch war gut gebraten. Ausserdem nochmal dieses Gericht, aber als Fusion mit Himmel und Äd. Als Nachspeise hätte ich gerne das Moltebeerenparfait gehabt, das gibt es aber nur wenn man das Menu nimmt, schade. Es hat alles geschmeckt, aber die Portionen sind übersichtlich. Es gibt auch eine gute Auswahl für Vegetarier. Service war gut und freundlich, Essen kam zügig. Parkplätze an der Strasse vorhanden. Es gibt auch verschiedene Specials wie Valentinstag, Muttertag und andere Anlässe mit Specialangeboten.
