Takes way too long to even get your order? I mean, it shouldn’t take this long to warm up some chicken bites does it? I love KFC but this one at HBF is very disappointing.

They couldn't even prepare two small burgers within 30 minutes. I had to catch my train. I didn't get the overpriced burgers I ordered. Never again.

This is the worst KFC I've ever been to! It's not even fast! If you're really hungry, you can't expect your food to be served in half an hour! And when there are only two people working in the kitchen, you can't expect them to do the work of ten. Their massive staff shortage is their biggest problem.

I've never been served such small pieces of chicken at KFC before.

Anyone used to KFC in Switzerland will be in for a nasty surprise. The fries aren't even remotely cooked through, and neither are the chicken pieces in the bucket. The wait times are inhumane. The staff is abysmal. These days, Germans should be ashamed of places like this. How can a place like this even still be open? One star is too generous. Zero percent recommendation 🤢

I've never been so angry about paying so much for something! The two large pieces of chicken for €7.99 were each the size of a hot wing. They were just bones and shreds of dried meat. The cheese sauce was €3.49. It barely covered the bottom of the cup. It was exactly enough for two dips with my burger. The hot wings were almost entirely breaded, and I was tired of them after just a few. My burger was as thick or thin as a sandwich. I don't know what horrified me more. NEVER AGAIN

Very disappointing experience I had dinner at KFC Saarbrücken and the service was really poor. Our order took 35 minutes to be ready, and when we finally got it, both cheese dips (2 € each) were literally empty. When I pointed it out to the employee at the counter, he just told me to “tilt it and it will be fine.” Completely unprofessional. For a global chain like KFC, this level of service and quality is unacceptable.

On average, you wait half an hour to 40 minutes for your order to arrive. This isn't fast food, but slow food; you get your food faster in every restaurant.

I love KFC, the burgers are delicious but I ordered from Uber Eats and only got half... no one answers the phone, neither the delivery person nor KFC... now I don't even get my money back... This has happened several times.

Last Saturday, at the end of our shopping trip, we went to the KFC at the train station in Saarbrücken. First of all, we waited at least 30 minutes for our food, and when it was ready, we were told to sit at one of the dirty tables. The entire time, the table wasn't wiped down. No napkins, hardly any staff. I think there were two people at the counter, one serving front of house and one person who was actually responsible for cleanliness in this branch. I ordered this warm cheese sauce. For two euros, I got this sauce in a cup, but it covered the bottom and was so watery. I've never experienced anything like it... If I hadn't already ordered with my card at the terminal, we would have left. Absolutely terrible place!

I don't go to KFC often—very rarely—but the rare times I do go, the food and burgers I enjoy are always nice and hot and delicious. The atmosphere is mediocre, considering it's near the main train station in SB. Service isn't unfriendly, but sometimes it seems unprofessional. Wait times are at their worst. It feels like there's only one employee working there. You can really see how overwhelmed the guy is with the orders. Someone was running around the kitchen with a beer bottle... It's not exactly chill inside either. The food itself is okay, but everything surrounding it really ruins it.

Unfortunately, it's anything but cheap, and certainly not "fast." Waiting times of 30 minutes or more must be expected, even at low demand, until the ordered product is received.

No. They're completely understaffed and under-staffed, but they offer delivery services. I waited half an hour for my food despite relatively low traffic. A no-go at a train station. I'll write to Deutsche Bahn and ask them to correct the situation, for example, by not allowing delivery services, Uber Eats, or Lieferando at this KFC.

I had to wait over 20 minutes for my order. There was only one employee at the cash register, and she didn't rush at all. Furthermore, card payments weren't accepted, which made the situation even worse – she had to process all payments manually, which took a lot of time. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was also disappointing: The spicy chicken wings were dry, not fresh, and tasted anything but convincing. What was particularly disappointing, however, was that my honest review was initially flagged by the company as "defamation" and subsequently removed from Google. Only after I provided evidence and filed an official complaint was my post restored. This unfortunately shows that they are clearly trying to suppress critical voices instead of taking responsibility or apologizing to their guests.

On August 17, 2025, I waited almost 40 minutes for my order (Zinger Meal + 11 wings). The employee was unfriendly and ignored me, even though the items were available. In the end, I just gave them a refund without a word. Very poor service, extremely long wait times.

My boyfriend and I recently ate here. Really sad food, not worth paying money for. But that's not all. My boyfriend put out an honest review about our experience here and google sent him a mail saying his comment will be removed due to defamation. Since when are honest reviews not allowed ?

Instead of taking legal action against honest reviews, you could simply do better. Employ staff who are genuinely motivated to serve customers and keep the store clean.

KFC as always good, but portions are smaller and prices higher

I waited 20 minutes for my food, which is too long. The lady who took orders was always friendly and attentive to customers, despite the stress. If they increased the staff, the order processing would be much smoother. I'll definitely be back.

Good KFC, but an interminable wait to get our menu. It makes sense, since there's one person for service and one person in the kitchen. For a train station restaurant, it's not very wise to employ only two people for a restaurant with about fifty seats.

Impossible. Never again. Drinks are warm, food is almost cold, and half of the order is forgotten. Employees prefer to be on their phones and talking to each other instead of working properly. Nobody listens, and you have to wait forever. The chicken is dry.

It's unbelievable, it's Friday, and there are only two people working at the train station who can't get anything done. A wait of over 30 minutes. Especially at the train station, time is something you don't have. :( I'm really disappointed.

Hello. I ordered and paid online yesterday, and suddenly I wanted to cancel the order. I still haven't heard back about whether I'll get my money back. Today I ordered again. Unfortunately, the order was supposed to have been delivered, even though it never arrived, and the money was debited again.

A new facility is useless if the staff hasn't been replaced. It's incredibly slow. I can't get there anymore. There are better, faster alternatives in the station itself.

Absolutely trashy place, cold food, sometimes very unmotivated staff, the only one working here is a poor little Afghan or something, the black employees can't even pack a four-item order properly. I waited 30 minutes for my order and missed the train because of it. The guy at the cash register who packs the orders doesn't let it bother him even with 15 open orders and just acts completely relaxed. Absolute cheek.

WOW, truly unbelievable... First of all, we waited an hour for our burgers. After making it absolutely clear that this wasn't acceptable, we finally got them. Upon closer inspection, we found employee food on the burger. I also ordered the Korean burger, which should normally be pink... mine was green. I haven't seen such audacity in a long time. You should think twice about going here.

This is supposed to be fast food? In a real restaurant, I would have waited less time for my food. We left with empty stomachs and mentally ruined.

Not recommended, waiting time 20 minutes, tables not clean and stuck to the floor. Ordered mashed potatoes with gravy. It was more of a soup, went to the lady behind the counter and asked for a new one. Answer: No, that's how it is. Then I asked for a spoon because I couldn't eat it like that. Answer: we don't have spoons. We'll never go there again, whether Saarbrücken or Saarlouis.

There were too many people, so if you are a little slow and in a hurry, you can eat at other restaurants, but the staff was very nice. I had low blood sugar and was given a drink first.

April 2025 update.: in the last 2 visits, the Staff were more professionals, altought the waiting time is still important compared to other KFC in the region. 2024/2025 New staff are incompetent and unfriendly.

I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. We ordered a small portion of fries because we wanted something quick to eat. But we had to wait a whole 15 minutes - that's not normal, it's incredibly long! All employees worked extremely slowly. I am absolutely disappointed.

I really wasn't expecting much, but even that low bar was exceeded. The wait was absurd - I could probably have raised, slaughtered and fried a chicken myself in that time. After what felt like an eternity, I finally got my food, only to find that the fries were visually convincing, but an unparalleled soggy disappointment. A classic case of “hui on the outside, yuck on the inside”. If there's one thing KFC has perfected, it's the concept of patience education - just unfortunately not that of their own products.

FRAUD and RIP-OFF!!!!!!! If no one comes forward by tomorrow, there will be a FRAUD and EMBEDDEEMENT charge. Ordered and had it delivered with Ubereats. 3 items missing, when I called on the phone there was a man who could barely communicate. After a lot of back and forth I was supposed to call in 15 minutes, he was in the office and had to go ask at the cash register downstairs and he just hung up. No longer available after 15 minutes. It's great if you've paid online by credit card beforehand.

I was there with my partner and we thought eating something would be quick, except for us there were maybe 3 tables occupied, the rest of the tables had food leftovers and leftovers, the meal took 10 minutes even though we were almost alone, the corn on the cob for the kids menu took 37 minutes

The order took 15 minutes to prepare even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. The food wasn't tasty - when we got it, everything was already cold. I recommend going to the neighboring McDonald's instead.
