Kentucky Fried Chicken in Neumünster

Dear Sir or Madam, On July 5, 2025, at 12:53 PM, I visited your Neumünster branch with my family (five people). Our order totaled €53.15, and the receipt is attached. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing: – The ice cube dispenser at the beverage station wasn't working. – When I politely inquired about this, the store manager reacted extremely rudely and said in a very aggressive tone: "That's just the way it is!" – The food I ordered was cold, tasteless, and of poor quality – in particular, the fries and the three chicken pieces were old and not fresh. I am a long-time, regular customer of your Neumünster branch. This time, however, I felt disrespected as a guest. The behavior of the staff and the quality of the food were unacceptable. I always do a drive-thru. Everything went smoothly today, requests were accommodated, and the young man with black hair was particularly friendly, which I really appreciated. The KFC is much better than the one in Kiel.

Good food for lunch but in the evening you can't get anything new until 30-40 minutes before the store closes and you have to be satisfied with what they have left

I often order via Uber Eats. However, I've often encountered delays where one or two orders were missing. On the phone, I only get unfriendly employees who seem to not care about anything and give indifferent and sometimes rude answers. The physical location is relatively small and often not always clean, especially at the service counters.

We like to stop here on our way home. A typical KFC with a small, free parking lot and a drive-thru. If the parking spaces aren't enough, you can also use the huge free parking lot at the EKZ Freesencenter shopping center. Nice terrace. Clean restrooms. I have nothing to complain about.

I'm only giving a one star rating because a zero star rating is not possible. We ordered three large fries, two of them with ketchup. When we opened our bags we realized that the largest size was relatively small. We also only found one packet of ketchup even though we had paid for two. On top of that, there was no toilet paper left in the women's restroom and we had to make do with the toilet paper from the men's restroom, which was in a very questionable and disgusting condition. Unfortunately, one large fry was not enough to fill you up. The fries were extremely soggy and had almost no salt in them, not to mention the seasoning.

The fries were lukewarm, soggy, and undercooked. The two burgers were also more cold than warm, as if they had been sitting there for a while. This was further confirmed by the visual impression. The chicken was okay. This was my first and last visit to this branch.

This was my first time at KFC, and I was disappointed. The atmosphere wasn't great, I don't know anything about burgers, and it was difficult to order one. The ordering process itself went smoothly. This isn't a fast-food option for me. The floor was sticky with every step, which was kind of weird. The Uber Eats driver pours the drinks himself, which was kind of weird. It's a shame, maybe I'll try somewhere else and it's just a bad day.

Pretty standard kfc, good location, chicken was a bit cold when we got it

The food is always outstanding and seems far healthier than the competition. The restaurant is well-kept and inviting. You can always refill your cup with soft drinks, water, etc. for free. What I would like to emphasize most is the employees, who are always extremely friendly and make you feel good about eating there. When there isn't much going on, you can always have a good chat with your colleagues and they are open and in a good mood over a chat! All in all, the best system catering in Neumünster!

We really like the food at KFC - it tastes delicious and fresh every time, especially the chicken is super crispy. The employees were very friendly and attentive during our visit, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness in the restaurant was not at the same level: some tables were not wiped down, the floors appeared unkempt and the toilets definitely needed a more thorough cleaning. This somewhat clouds the otherwise positive overall impression. It's a shame, because with a little more attention to hygiene the visit would have been perfect

Ok, it's Easter Sunday. But I've been to a lot of KFC in D'land. And those were the worst fries and HotWings I've ever had.

First of all, you were simply left waiting outside for a long time without any reaction. Then we had 2x fries in the order, both of which were undercooked and wobbly! Back in the drive in a new one, the end of the song wasn't quite finished again! And then totally rude. Never again !!

We were there spontaneously after a concert. It was just fast food but the guys behind the counter were in a good mood and very friendly.

Unfortunately, the drive-in service leaves a lot to be desired. You just order a little something and it's still forgotten.

We like to get our fillet bites and wraps here, they are always fresh and delicious.

I like the colorful atmosphere. Orders are only made here via terminal, where payment is also made. Then you wait for your order and then enjoy your meal. The food was very tasty. All in all a very good grade.

July 11th, 2022 Unfortunately smaller than in the description. Had a delicious meal there yesterday. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A small error in the order was resolved very charmingly. Only the tables could be cleaned better. Only partially suitable for sitting outside, otherwise you would get the exhaust fumes from the Drive Inn cars. Still 4 stars. There was an incredible rush and a lot to do. The food fresh and delicious. The service is great, we would love to come back. Toilets great. 👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰 Update October 9th, 2022 today devaluation, bought at the drive in, specially asked for damp cleaning cloths and napkins. When it was issued it said everything was included. If I hadn't had kitchen roll and glass cleaner with me, I would have had to drive with greasy fingers. That was an outrage. Don't come back. 👎

I ate there several times. I was actually quite happy. Even today it was actually okay. Got me the deal menu for Got 9.99. I got into the car and put the bag on the passenger and thought to myself: something to snack on in between. I think meat was as usual. The fries, however... I don't know how that works, but somehow the fries were quite cold, had little to no salt on them and, in my opinion, sometimes tasted like mold (like bread). I briefly thought that I might have imagined it. Now I'm lying here with a stomach ache.

Lately the food hasn't been tasty at all 🤢. It is not fresh but looks like it was cooked from old ingredients.

Far too expensive for what you get, we ordered a bucket mix for three people for €38 with delivery and we paid €50 for sauces for fries, what we got is a joke. Soft fries, soggy chicken, you won't get full and in the end you'll have a stomach ache because it's so greasy. You can do it better yourself.

There were many empty/old tablets on the tables. When we ordered, the second portion of fries was forgotten, but that wasn't a problem because the one portion had probably been there for a while. Old and oily taste. The burgers were dry and cold. Only the chicken pieces were juicy, hot and tasty. The employees stood in a pile and talked. All in all, this KFC didn't make a good impression and we won't go there again.

I can't recommend it, you can see the kids menu in the photo. The alleged order selection does not actually exist. The app doesn't ask you what you want. That's why the customer assumes that you will receive what is shown in the picture, but that doesn't exist. To do this you would have to press “adjust”, which would not be explained to you in the app. How is the customer supposed to know that they are not getting what is shown in the photo? Instead, there is the most disgusting selection that the store can possibly offer. Then I’d love to go back to McDonald’s.

Been trying kfc for ages and trying to order online. Paypal acknowledged successfully, only KFC waited for a receipt. The least we received online was a friendly hint that something had gone wrong. Direct reference was made to the service in the affected branch. Discussed over the phone in the hope that I had received an email from kfc, I arrived there and was told quite defensively that “there is nothing that can be done here”. Not very solution-oriented, they suggested that I could order the order again on site (pay again, of course). You could ultimately get the money back from Paypal (“or from KFC in a few weeks”). Although the Paypal problem is said to have never existed, paradoxically the branch manager (shift manager?) still advised against ordering online... For an order worth just under €50, you don't seem to be paying for the service but only for the goods.

It was a pleasant stay. Food was fresh and warm and the staff was extremely friendly. I've been to a few KFC branches and I have to say that the branch here in Neumünster was the friendliest and freshest so far👍 I'd love to come back!

This branch is the best of all the KFC branches we've visited in Germany. Extremely friendly, with 100% hospitality. We ordered two meals there, which were even brought to our table. Very clean and well-maintained. The owner does an excellent job!

A very clean store, and the restrooms are also clean. It's very tidy and there were a lot of people helping out on site. The parking lot is unfortunately very small, but neighboring supermarkets also ask for parking. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. Ordering was very quick. After three years, tested a KFC store again. And it hasn't actually gotten any better. If you have your burgers after a minute at 10 p.m., they have probably been sitting there for some time. That's how it was. Lukewarm and if you look at the pictures of the two burgers, it definitely doesn't look tasty. The most positive thing is that you get three hot wings for free when you rate the place. Here the price-performance ratio doesn't really fit for what you get. For me there are now more years of KFC abstinence.

The food wasn't very good, the oil seemed rancid, there was practically no chicken inside the sandwich and the flavor wasn't pleasant. The chips were tasteless and unfortunately you can only drink Pepsi Zero and not regular Pepsi. Not recommended.

Very nice employees… nothing against the store…. However, KFC only offers sugar-free drinks across Germany (zero, ect…). Unfortunately for me that's a reason to never eat there again. The person who decided that might want to think about whether that was the right decision…..

Every now and then I get a family bucket here. Unfortunately, in the past I have always relied on the service staff and the last three times I found out at home that something was missing. Either the fries...or the corn on the cob were forgotten...or the salad...or there weren't enough chicken pieces, that's annoying because after all I pay for what I order!!! Whatever happens again and again, .....that the butter for the corn cobs is simply placed between the hot things, ......if you don't have that on your radar.........then you have you quickly get liquid butter in the paper bag, extremely unpleasant!!! I can't say much about the ambience, just a typical KFC.

KFC Neumünster Toilets are just disgustingly dirty. Employees can't even explain the contents of the menu. You can't really get through the fries. There is only Pepsi light or Miranda selection looks different. The ambience is generally nice if the cleanliness wasn't so poor.

Unfortunately my last visit to KFC. I have been a regular guest at KFC and always at peace, but this time it was the last time. Then there's different food on football Sunday. You order a colonel box and forget the colonelburger. It's almost like ordering a bucket and you only get the side dishes. It was crowded, but that would be an excuse to forget the fries or the corn on the cob, although not the main part of the menu. After a call they said I would get the burger next time after I said I wanted the burger now. I was told that I had to come back and pick him up. I was offered a milkshake as an apology, which is commendable, but unfortunately KFC is a no go for me from now on
