Very poor value for money. High prices, small portions. The kitchen staff were all without gloves, and the shop itself was very clean.

I really like going to KFC. But this branch on Waldstrasse in Karlsruhe is getting worse and worse. The toilet stinks like a pigsty after a rain. I find the worst thing is when I complain about something, I get a rude response. Today I got a Krispi Beckett, and there were 10 wet, light Krispi in the Beckett. I went to the counter and complained, and they told me, "That's just sauce, that's how it's supposed to be." I come to KFC to eat crispy chicken. That's why it's called "Krispi." Then, the service was just as unappetizing. After complaining, the staff was so rude to me, like I was taking something for nothing. I just wanted my money back for what I ordered. It's unbelievable that despite so many negative reviews, the manager of this branch isn't doing anything about it. I just have to go there undercover as a customer during rush hour. That's when you see what the service is like. I think it's a shame for the KFC name.

The portions were so small they weren't even big enough for a child, and two orders were missing. The service was even worse than the food itself. The staff member was rude, especially when I asked for the uncooked food to be replaced and the missing items to be added. We also had to clear the table ourselves and wait an hour for our order. I can't recommend it at all and hope the person in charge of this branch is held accountable.

As far as I can tell, this KFC has just opened. Workers were still working, and there were audible coordination issues in the service/waiting area. Food and quality were at the usual level, nothing spectacular. No table service. The restrooms were a negative. The toilets were poorly made (possibly old stock?), had a broken toilet seat, and were not clean.

I'm absolutely disappointed! For almost 10 euros, I got this "portion" – just 5 small pieces that barely fill you up. It's a disgrace! You could call this a snack at best, but certainly not a full meal. Value for money = a disaster. KFC, that's how you lose customers!

Minus 100 stars for the truly disgusting food, and the diaper changing room was locked. I won't be visiting that restaurant anytime soon. I have to say, I'm usually a KFC fan, but this restaurant spoiled my appetite for everything from cold fries to cold mashed potatoes.

KFC Karlsruhe shamelessly advertises a purple burger - something fun, unique, and the whole reason I even bothered stopping by, only to hand over a completely plain, regular-looking burger. No explanation, no apology. Just false advertising at its finest. The so-called “chicken patty” was a sad, flimsy joke – weighed less than 50 grams, dry as cardboard, and completely overwhelmed by the stale bun. For 13 EUROS, I expected something remotely decent. Instead, I got a pathetic excuse for a meal: 1. A tasteless burger that looked and tasted like it came out of a freezer 2. Cold, soggy chips that clearly sat out for too long 3. A drink… and surprise! They also have the nerve to charge you €0.25 for the bottle on top of the already ridiculous price Save your money for proper food. This isn’t fast food - it’s a rip-off wrapped in disappointment. KFC should be ashamed for selling this garbage and misleading customers with bait-and-switch marketing tactics. Never again!

So the food itself is typical KFC. But it's not exactly top-notch among KFCs. As for service, putting all the wrong toppings on a burger, forgetting the extra cheese on the Twister, and then (just a minor detail here) forgetting the mayonnaise is the record I've ever had at KFC. Then things like dirty tables and overfilled trays top it all off. The cracker who comes in and digs into your leftovers is about 50/50, which is normal in bigger cities, but the overall package really isn't the best. To the boss, staff planning... with all due respect, but putting five people in a packed place on a Sunday?! Really?! 2/5*, the one star is for the usual quality of the food.

Fries were lukewarm and soggy, fried chicken without sauce, but very expensive; music so loud you have to shout at the person sitting opposite you. At least the tables were a bit cleaner than at the fast-food competitors.

The food was cold, the Crispy pieces were very thin, more crust than meat. Very few potatoes. It's the first time they give us the whole order and I don't have to go back and tell them I'm missing something, that's usually how it happens. The staff always seem very bothered by the presence of customers. Both cash register employees were outside talking to a girl. We wanted to order something else but we didn't want to wait for it to come from outside. Anyway, they would have been bothered if we called them in to place our order. Every time we want to order a milkshake, we are told that the machine is not working. They actually don't feel like doing it. The food is ok, at most. But the staff leaves much to be desired.

This is a pretty decent KFC. You get what you expect. That also includes it being kind of unsanitary, but it's not that severe. The staff are pretty friendly aswell and you get your food pretty quickly. The chicken is crispy as well as the fries so that's pretty cool.

The food served was completely different than what was ordered. Ordering was a problem because you have to order at the machine. The paper used to print the order number had run out, and no one on staff could replace it. The tables were dirty, and they weren't cleared after each customer. I think they have a rule: if you want to eat, clean up after the previous customer.

Tables and all seating areas were sticky and dirty. Among other things, our order wasn't served in its entirety. To top it all off, several hairs and unidentifiable solid pieces were found in the food. At least that distracts from the fact that the food was completely cold. So this is really the last straw. Totally disappointed Chicken wings are small and often dark in color, as if they were fried for too long. The breading is unevenly distributed, lacking the typical crispy texture, and in some places it's even missing completely. I've ordered from here several times, and the quality has always been as good as the pictures. The taste is inconsistent; sometimes the wings are extremely salty and barely edible. I absolutely cannot recommend this location.

Dishonest crew members! If you pay in cash they will play as if you gave them exact amount especially if you are a tourist. If you ask for the change, they will not give tou the right order. They give less chicken and smaller portions of what you originally ordered. I dont wonder why they end up working here in the first place!

If you forget something in the order twice out of the last 3 orders, then that speaks for itself. When you then try to call to address the error, no one answers the phone. Who is surprised with such an error rate? The annoying thing is of course that you don't get the right goods for the money you paid. So if you can't read the orders, either the employees are bad or the system isn't working. Whatever, the service is just bad.

I'm really disappointed with my last visit to KFC and feel compelled to share this to warn others about a similar experience. First of all the service was an absolute disaster. Soggy, cold and tasteless - it felt like someone had warmed them up instead of making them fresh. To make matters worse, the order wasn't even complete! I had paid extra for a dip that was completely missing. When I complained about this to the staff, I was shrugged off. No apology, no effort to correct the mistake - just a "We must have forgotten that." Really? The hygiene also left something to be desired. The tables were dirty, there was leftover food everywhere, and the floor was sticky. The toilets were also in terrible condition - no paper, no soap, and the smell was unbearable. All in all it was a terrible experience. For the prices that KFC charges, I would have expected at least a halfway acceptable standard. Instead, I wasted my money on poor quality, carelessly served food. I definitely won't be coming back and I advise anyone who values ​​quality and good service to avoid this store.

Endless incompetence... I ordered at the terminal. The card machine didn't work. When I gave notice, only the half-full paper roll for the receipts was replaced and I was told that the device would now work again. Spoiler alert... it didn't. I then ordered at the checkout. A combination box with a piece of chicken and a coleslaw. Additionally 4 fillet bites and 3 more hot wings. The store manager then entered 3 hot wings at the checkout instead of the chicken portion. Instead of 6 hot wings I had 9. So far that's not a bad thing. But when I checked the order I noticed that the chicken part was missing and the 4 fillet bites too. When I informed them on site, the branch manager treated me like a small child who was as stupid as anything... It's not my fault if she isn't able to type the order correctly. But then, in front of a full restaurant, making me look like an idiot for the crap she poured out is disgusting! I didn't get the 4 fillet bites for which I paid €3.49 either... And instead of 9 hot wings there were 5 normal wings... I was ripped off there too! And instead of the receipt there was only 1 coleslaw and I got 2. When I wanted to speak to the other employee, she told me in English that she didn't speak German -> so I spoke to her in English. Even then she didn't get anything done. By the way, the food was already cold less than 5 minutes after I got it, which makes me wonder how that could be. The food was typical KFC and you could eat it. Even though the table was cleaned in front of us, it was still dirty and greasy. When I had finished eating, I wanted to go to the toilet and backed out. The reason for this was that it smelled extremely like urine. The food is delicious, as I'm used to from KFC. The service was also good because I asked and got a bag and a box to pack my food. Still, it's a bitter aftertaste considering what the table was like and the toilet. The only reason why I honestly won't go there again even though I really like KFC.

In terms of staff and service, this is the much better, more professional KFC in Karlsruhe. Friendly demeanor and quick preparation even at peak times. The extra stars are thanks to the older, super nice employee! Typical fast food and unique selling point through the delicious fried chicken.

KFC never disappoints, and this outlet certainly lived up to its reputation. I ordered a Crispy Chicken Meal, which included two chicken tenders, fries, a burger, and a soft drink. The indoor and outdoor seating options were ample and comfortable. However, the long wait time for my order was disappointing, especially given the lack of a crowd. I hope the staff can improve on this front. Despite the wait, I would still highly recommend this location. 👍
