Kentucky Fried Chicken in Krefeld

I thought this was a fast food restaurant. Apparently, no one there knows the word "fast." Wait time: 25 minutes

We ate at KFC on Sunday, April 6, 2025, around noon, and I've never experienced anything like it. All the tables, the floor, the toilets, and the food was dirty. The drinks system disgusted me; it was completely filthy. The burgers and chicken pieces were cold and dry. The fries were extremely soggy. Not a single one of KFC's standards was adhered to; you could immediately tell that the waiting times had been extended. Orders were processed extremely slowly and one after the other, which took an eternity. There were more than enough employees on hand; no one could really work, and you could see how annoyed the employees were. This overall situation also shows that the HACCP rules are probably not being followed. I used to work in the store and I am deeply shocked by the circumstances and the inability of your employees. I will also report you to the Krefeld health department.

Complaint about incomplete order and lack of cleanliness Ladies and Gentlemen On March 27th, 2025 around 9:00 p.m. I placed an order in your Krefeld branch: 18 hot wings for €16.49. Unfortunately, when I got home I discovered that there were only 13 wings in the box. This is annoying because I paid for the full amount and expect my order to be filled correctly. Furthermore, the condition of the branch was anything but satisfactory. Although there were hardly any customers in the store, the tables were full of trash, the tray cart was overflowing, and several employees stood in the back talking and laughing instead of attending to cleanliness. I hope that more attention will be paid to order accuracy and cleanliness in the future.

I don't know what's going on with the current workers there, but I've never experienced being as disappointed in this branch as I was today! Half of the order was wrong! Several burgers were missing as well as extra side dishes. It can happen that something is forgotten but at the same time several side dishes or burgers? Sorry, but I drove an extra 40 km.

Saturday, 4:30 p.m. More staff than customers, but almost all tables were dirty. Very unfriendly female waiter who told us that no dip had been ordered, even though it was on the receipt. The food is cold and the fries are inedible. That was our last visit here.

The chickens were in the warm box for far too long so they were no longer crispy. The beverage machine is set incorrectly with the carbon dioxide so that it tastes stale.... Depending on who is on shift there, the place isn't even clean... I'll never do it again... That's all down to the management... They're probably just the same... S...... as your staff. It worked before too. Unfortunately the fries were cold. Toilet is in VERY BAD condition. No recommendation. Never. Only to go. The food, apart from cold fries, was still good. But honestly - this can also be done better and more hygienically with a little more love and passion. No recommendation.

I drove into the drive-in and stood in front of the intercom for over 5 minutes without my order being taken or me being asked to be patient. I then drove up to the serving window and was ignored there too. Driven by hunger, I drove to McDonald's nearby and had my meal a short time later. That was my last visit to KFC.

The chicken pieces are crispy, juicy and simply delicious - just as you would expect from KFC. The large selection of side dishes and sauces in particular is unbeatable. The staff is unable to process orders properly! For the second time in a row, the order (which was placed on site at the terminal) was incorrect! The first time there was a complete chrispy menu missing. And when I came back in the car 20 minutes later, none of the three employees at the counter could or would remember who made the order. No people, we know and love KFC from the USA and are real fans, but what you are treated to here in Germany is a real laugh that cannot be compared with the original in the USA. Here you cannot place your order at the counter and are forced to order at a terminal. So terminal or there is just nothing. Then we wanted to order a bucket and found out that it was only available on the menu. (or you are forced to take two side dishes to get the bucket). But we're not in the mood for fries or any mashed potatoes that we don't like. What is that supposed to be???? Just pots outside or what? Outrageous! And the parts that would have been in the bucket would have been sparse wings and clubs. Guys, what kind of business concept is it to not give your customers food if they aren't willing to go to a terminal and order necessary things that they don't feel like ordering? KFC can stay stolen from me in Germany. Then we just left again

Store has been remodeled and has become good, although there is nothing unusual about it. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is becoming less and less the same. My negative experience during one of our many visits to KFC Krefeld cannot be undone. But the restaurant reacted and did so in an exemplary manner! So they still exist - the people who know what good service is all about! Thank you KFC Krefeld and a special thank you to the people who value it there!
