Kentucky Fried Chicken in Neu-Ulm

Unfortunately, neither the service nor the food impressed me. I've had much better experiences at other locations. I've been here twice now. The restrooms are absolutely filthy, the seating area is completely littered, and the beverage station is flooded and sticky. When I placed my order, I was immediately asked if I wanted to wait for my mashed potatoes (10-20 minutes) or if I wanted to order something else. When I said I didn't want to wait because the rest of the food would get cold (which is always the case with takeout), I received my order. At home, I then discovered that the sauces and the three fries I had ordered were missing. I cannot recommend this location.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with many of the other reviews. First, the toy was missing from the Dragon Ball Z meal order – quite annoying, especially since that's the main reason you ordered the meal. On top of that, the food was really bad. The fries were way too soft, like they'd just been defrosted. Both the regular and the veggie chicken tenders had absolutely no flavor. The burger sauce was so bland that we even had to add seasoning to the burgers ourselves. I never thought I'd do that, but I guess there's a first time for everything. The cheese balls were already cold. The only good thing was the hot wing bucket, but when only one out of five items tastes good, it's a real waste of money.

Some of the food was cold. The fries weren't cooked through. The burger was overpriced and barely had any toppings. Overall, the value for money was poor, as it was too expensive for what was offered. The staff were friendly.

This place is showing its age. The taste of the chicken pieces and the coleslaw in the plastic containers isn't great anymore either. I was looking forward to eating here, but for that price, I'll find something else. What a shame.

I used to come here almost every weekend, but today was absolutely unacceptable. I made a simple mix-up with my order (we got the fries instead of bacon) and wanted to correct it immediately. Instead of normal customer service, the manager gave me a stern "this is our money here." In the end, two full boxes of fries had to go in the trash – and I had to buy the meal again for my son. The hygiene is also appalling. The tables, floor, and counter often look neglected. After this experience, this was definitely my last visit to Neu-Ulm!

First time at this KFC in Neu-Ulm. I travel all over Germany, and this is the first time I've ever written a review – but this branch should definitely be avoided. They don't offer the usual KFC standard here: They buy their own wings, not from KFC, but prepare them with the original KFC marinade – FAKE! It's obvious they're trying to cut costs. The 18 hot wings were almost half the size of a standard one – a complete rip-off! An email with photos has already been sent to the franchise partner.

Mashed potatoes or construction trowel? Seriously, what happened to this mashed potato? Instead of creamy and fluffy, it was firmer than Play-Doh and could be cut rather than spooned. I don't know if the cook was angry or if that's just how it's supposed to be—but this wasn't mashed potato, it was an affront to every potato out there. The chicken was okay, but this "mashed potato" deserves its own category in the Museum of Culinary Failures. Please check the recipe or storage conditions before anyone thinks this is how it's supposed to be.

The ordering tablet at the entrance was incredibly complicated and confusing, the service staff unfriendly and taciturn, you could practically feel their lack of enthusiasm! They threw my bucket onto the tray, the Papsi zero water was brown, the supposedly fried chicken was dead chicken - the breading was soft instead of crispy, the meat was completely mushy and lukewarm at best, nothing is right here! And now, after 1.5 hours, I have heartburn and a stomach ache! Thanks for that - and at almost €20, far too expensive for a quarter of chicken with coleslaw!

One star for the friendliness. I used to come here often because of work and the convenient location. A large fries at KFC doesn't even mean a handful. At the large M, you get double the portion for the same price, and KFC is generally very expensive compared to the competition. For me, that means never going back to KFC. It's been like that every time I've been there, so it's no exception.

The last place!!!! Brutally hot and stuffy, endless wait times, and on top of that, the special offer's mush tastes disgusting. A cold, soggy burger, completely filthy in some kind of broth, plus the hot wings tossed in the same mush, all cold, and over-salted fries... Very pleasant, definitely my last visit there, although I have to say that Neu Ulm used to be really good.

We waited almost 30 minutes for our food, and even then, the side dishes were still missing, which only arrived after we alerted the staff twice. Some of the lights were broken and flickering. The ordering terminal crashed while we were ordering, so we had to wait in line again. There was no indication of a defect. The floor throughout the restaurant was greasy, so much so that three people were seen slipping during our 15-minute wait. To get such an experience for the money is truly abysmal.

It was completely different here. It hasn't been there for a while, but some things don't work as well as before. First of all, there was a longer wait, even though there was almost nothing going on. OK. Then it was noticeable that there were complaints about missing parts for almost every meal. During pick-up meals, all the bags were carefully taken apart and checked by the customers and then complained about. A part was missing from our clear order. It would be brought to the table. After 25 minutes nothing had happened, the repeated request was somehow completely ignored. Only after massive and persistent inquiries was the missing part passed over the counter. Somehow I think there was a change of ownership here and the new employees are physically present, but nothing more. Service is probably overrated here. I won't need it anymore in the future.

I seriously wonder if there was ever any quality control here. This was the last visit to this restaurant for me!

I ordered my burger without sandwich sauce because I just can't tolerate it and don't like the taste of it, then it felt like there was twice as much sandwich sauce on it, I complained very friendly about it, then it took about 2 minutes and I got a new burger completely without sauce... OK, but when I took a bite it was just really cold, like it had just come out of the fridge...then I complained again...then he took my burger and threw it in the trash can...without a word...then ran away...well then I ran back to my seat and thought now I'll just wait...then he came after a few minutes...and wow the burger was really hot at first I was happy but then I unpacked the accident...well now he just did it I took a whole cold burger and threw it in the microwave...disgusting...the bacon was limp, the fat from it was absorbed by the flabby bun, the salad was also rather inedible from the microwave...well what can I say...never again!!!!!!! Oh, what should perhaps also be mentioned is that the three people behind the counter were really overwhelmed...even though there was nothing going on and they really weren't under any stress. As I said, 25 minutes of waiting time for 2 orders in front of us...so much for fast food.... I don't even know what to say, I'm so disappointed!!!

We waited forever and then half of it was missing. The quality of the food wasn't really great either, as the fries were completely over salted. I was in the fiale with my wife. We each had a burger with fries and a milkshake. My wife ordered her burger without sauce. The burger came with sauce. We complained about the burger. The following burger was ice cold. So complaint number two. The third came straight out of the microwave whole. A really nice mushy salad. This approach is absolutely underground. I've never experienced anything like this at KFC. The staff is so overwhelmed with 5 orders. I hope things change here. For now, this will be my last time here.
