Kentucky Fried Chicken in Limburg a.d.Lahn

This shop is unfortunately a disaster. Starting with the milkshakes, where 2 of the 3 varieties are not available and you only find out after paying, to the drinks machine which is probably just empty (syrup) and you only get your money back after arguing, to the counter staff who unfortunately only speaks very quietly and the seating area which is not particularly clean, I honestly don't know what I can find good about this shop. The chicken was okay, but after the discussions and stress beforehand, the desire is no longer as high as it was before entering the shop. The milkshakes were refunded, but the whole order had to be cancelled and re-ordered. Other fast food shops also manage to point out unavailable products when ordering #McDonalds ice cream machine. The drinks were much more stressful, instead of SchwipSchwap only orange lemonade came out of the machine and the (I assume) manager tried several times to sell it to us as SchwipSchwap. He didn't care that the customer before us only got water instead of Pepsi from the machine. After some discussion, he got his money back, this time without canceling the entire order. So why not do the same with the milkshakes? Conclusion: avoid this shop, there are plenty of alternatives.

It was promised that it would be brought to your table. After the food was eaten, there was still nothing (mind you, while the shop was otherwise empty). When I asked again, they tried again to sell me orange lemonade as swoosh. The container for the syrup had been changed and the orange liquid served to me was swoosh. When I refused again and wanted my money back, I was suddenly told that a cancellation was not possible because the drink was part of a menu (which was not the case). Again, a discussion was necessary before the employee was willing to give me my money back. Apparently, it was possible to cancel individual items after all. Never again!

Staff was totally overwhelmed. The side dish of mashed potatoes was already sold out at 2 p.m. They can't even put the right number of chicken pieces in the bucket. Don't go there, you'll only be disappointed. Too expensive and not enough food for it.

I ordered milkshake. Then they said the milkshake machine was broken for three hours. I asked if I could get a euro back because I had a menu coupon and I would have to pay a euro more for the milkshake instead of a soft drink. Since I knew it was a tactic to throw me off so I wouldn't stress over 1 euro, I decided to give it a shit since it was relatively crowded. Unser Besuch am 10.12.2024 gegen 21:40 Uhr im KFC Limburg (Vincent-Palotti-Straße) war nicht nur enttäuschend, sondern schockierend. Die Zustände in diesem Restaurant sind katastrophal und absolut inakzeptabel. Nach unserer Bestellung am Terminal sahen wir eine Maus aus der Küche laufen, die anschließend in einem Spalt an der Trennwand verschwand. Dieser Bereich war voller Schmutz, und trotz unseres Hinweises schien das Personal dies völlig zu ignorieren als wäre es dort Alltag. Dann kam das Essen, und der nächste Schock folgte: matschige, kalte Pommes, lauwarme Burger, und Hähnchenteile, die teilweise roh waren (rosa Fleisch!). Die Käse-Chili-Sauce war eingetrocknet und kalt, und die Cola schmeckte undefinierbar fast ungenießbar. Wir konnten das Essen nicht essen, weil uns schlichtweg der Appetit verging. Das Restaurant selbst war eine Zumutung: überfüllte Müllbehälter, verschmutzte Sitzflächen, ein Boden voller Abfälle. Auf dem Parkplatz lagen überall Müllreste herum. Im Eingangsbereich fanden wir dann eine tote Maus, die im Türspalt eingeklemmt war ein Bild, das wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden. Die sanitären Anlagen waren genauso schrecklich: verschmutzte Waschbecken und Spiegel, ein stehendes Urinal voller Flüssigkeit und keine Seife. Hygiene scheint hier keinerlei Bedeutung zu haben. Wie dieses Restaurant in diesem Zustand Gäste empfangen kann, ist uns völlig unbegreiflich. Für uns steht fest: Wir werden diesen Store nie wieder betreten und raten jedem, sich diesen Anblick und diese Erfahrung zu ersparen.

Then the food came, and the next shock followed: soggy, cold fries, lukewarm burgers, and chicken pieces that were partly raw (pink meat!). The cheese chili sauce was dried up and cold, and the cola tasted indefinable - almost inedible. We couldn't eat the food because we simply lost our appetite. The restaurant itself was an imposition: overflowing garbage containers, dirty seats, a floor full of trash. There was trash everywhere in the parking lot. In the entrance area we found a dead mouse stuck in the crack in the door - an image we won't soon forget. The plumbing was just as terrible: dirty sinks and mirrors, a stagnant urinal full of liquid and no soap. Hygiene seems to have no meaning here. How this restaurant can welcome guests in this condition is completely incomprehensible to us. One thing is certain for us: We will never enter this store again and advise everyone to avoid this sight and this experience.

Actually it was perfect. We were here in the late afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. There were enough parking spaces in front of the door. Since this restaurant is right next to the A3, it is ideal for a stopover. The food was prepared quickly and was flawless. The first thing we noticed was the tense atmosphere in the restaurant. A general dissatisfaction among the guests was immediately noticeable. We approached the terminals to order our food only to discover that any vegetarian versions of the popular dishes were priced at an exorbitant rate. After consulting with the staff, there wasn't a single one of the many coupons for the vegetarian versions... This caused enormous disappointment in our group. Because from all other establishments we are used to offering environmentally friendly food at a reduced price. After all, KFC also uses Tesla chargers to promote more environmentally friendly mobility. So why not when eating too? Then it was the vegetarian bucket for us, which was then brought to the table by the service-oriented staff. Finally, we would like to express our clear wish that in the future more environmentally friendly dishes will be linked to financial incentives for guests.

All of the six order terminals were switched on, but two were deactivated, so we had to stand around and wait in the full store. Good simple KFC, what you expect.... Good, quick and tasty food. A few of the machines weren't 100% functional but the food was good. Good for a quick break from the highway. There are also a number of Tesla Super Chargers in the parking lot for electric car drivers.

Ordered at the machine, didn't get a receipt with confirmation. The staff informed that it should be taken care of, but it was not implemented. The guests after us had the same problem. Unfortunately there was no chance of anything else missing at the table without the receipt. Long waiting times, for us it was about 50 minutes despite the low level of activity, others had already waited before us and were still standing after we left.

The worst KFC I've ever been to, terrible food, soft and cold chips that looked like they were made 2 days ago. first, dirty environment and staff minding their own business. Continue to stay open just because of good location...will try the McDonald's across the street

Typical KFC store, nothing special to be mentioned related to the food served. The good thing is that the restaurant is excellently accessible from the nearby motorway. However, with relation to the hygiene in the washrooms, this is a different story. Both urinals in the men's room were blocked and overflowing from urine. On my complaint to the personal, only a chair was positioned in front of the door to block access. However, nothing else was done. People were climbing over it to get inside what is another security issue. Disgusting at all, never again.

For an on the way fast food, clean and tasty

This KFC won't see me anymore. Waiting 15 minutes for my food, the employees don't wash their hands after wiping the table and go straight back to eating. The meat was totally dry and not really warm
