Well, we waited forever. And then got cold food. A real shame. 👎

We waited about 20 minutes for our food on September 8, 2025, because the team itself was working extremely slowly and was also visibly understaffed. The fries were only lukewarm. The hygiene conditions were unacceptable. All the seating areas were dirty, food scraps were on the furniture and floor, the toilets were covered in excrement, and the kitchen/service area appeared extremely unkempt (there were scattered fries, etc.) The vending machine unfortunately didn't dispense all the drinks (the syrup was empty), and we couldn't get a receipt because the paper in the terminal was empty and wouldn't be refilled. This is a case for the regional manager. The person in charge of this branch should have their franchise license revoked under certain circumstances.

CATASTROPHE! I'm a regular at various fast-food restaurants. We visited this restaurant on a Sunday at 6:00 PM, so the restaurant was quite busy. However, that doesn't excuse the fact that the restrooms were out of soap. The high chairs look like trash cans. Unfortunately, you can't really call it fast food, since we had to wait half an hour for our order. Ordered at 6:07 PM, received at 6:37 PM. I had mixed up the pickup number, and the employee at the counter was friendly, but then wanted me to order again. Unfortunately, the email ended up in the spam folder, so I couldn't find it right away. Another employee in the background was already rolling his eyes and snorting a little louder to signal his annoyance. Finally: Why does your email end up in the spam folder on Gmail? Your direct competitor makes it into your inbox. I would only go here again if it was unavoidable, if I didn't have to go to the bathroom, and if I didn't want to wait a very long time for my food. You have to want to ;]

Dirty, filthy, slow, expensive. Never again! Avoid the toilets; you can catch all sorts of diseases there. It's a shame the health department simply doesn't do anything; I've already reported this place several times.

It was busy, and the electronic order call-out board wasn't being used. Instead, the numbers were shouted around the store, sometimes incomprehensibly. Parking was very difficult; there are far too few regular parking spaces, but there are plenty of Tesla Superchargers right outside. The restroom was out of paper, and it hadn't been cleaned in a while, and this was on an early Sunday evening or late afternoon. Ordering was only possible via the terminals.

Ordered a veggie, paid with a card. Then there was no veggie after all, and the money was returned in cash.

Waited 30 minutes with 50 other people. Some orders were incorrect, and items were forgotten. Staff were completely overwhelmed, and even though I ordered via terminal and complained twice, something was still missing. Absurd, given the wait time.

Young lady behind the counter was very rude!! Not helpful at all. Kept rolling her eyes when we try yo order.. put us off straight away.She done our order how ever she likes not what we ordered! Food was wrong in the end…. Don’t recommend at all.

We've been there many times because of the charging station. Unfortunately, the food isn't tasty at certain times of the day. It's often mushy and greasy (fries and chicken pieces). The restrooms were usually a disaster in the evenings, but they were fine during the day, even on Sundays.

I ordered takeout. When I got home, I realized I'd ordered completely wrong, and the coleslaw was missing entirely. The extra bacon and cheese order was also missing from the burgers. Never again.

Preparation takes too long, or employees are too slow in the process

You don't even know where to begin. The shop is simply filthy, especially in the kitchen area. The employees just walk over it and, above all, they don't care. There are no side dishes, but you only find out after paying. Paying is also difficult because there's no change. Coke or Pepsi mixers are a great invention, but unfortunately, it's a shame if they don't have syrup in them. But nobody cares anyway, because you only notice after paying. The food itself is just KFC; you can eat it, but it's way too expensive for what you get. The branch in Limburg, however, should be pulled immediately. It feels like every back-alley snack bar is cleaner, and at least I don't have to worry about being insulted in the worst possible way by the employees in their own language. All in all, an absolute disgrace, especially for the prices they charge. I feel like I could write a book about the laziness of the employees, and even though I'm almost writing too much here, it's still not enough to rate this shitty shop. One can only hope that the health department or some other responsible authority will react at some point and end this situation. "Cheekiness" is an understatement.

The very, very last thing I experienced there. A lady couldn't understand German. I couldn't put our food on the wallpaper normally. No, she threw it there like garbage. When I asked her about it, I was the only one who couldn't understand anything.

Once and never again. The staff are completely incompetent and unmotivated. There's hair in the food, and if you don't pay attention, you'll get the wrong order.

Unbelievably bad. The coupon system didn't work. You had to hand in your coupon at the counter. The staff barely spoke German or English because I had to explain what fries were. Orders weren't correct, and then you had to wait another 5 or 10 minutes for the fries to be ready. It was very hot inside, and there were no open parasols outside.

Worst KFC ever. The staff is clueless and doesn't even know what French fries are. Don't go here; just go to McDonald's. It's boiling hot inside, and I don't think they have air conditioning. Expensive and inedible. The only good thing is the Tesla chargers on site.

I often pick up food here because it's right next to the highway... Unfortunately, I've often had to wait longer for my food... At the counter, they immediately tell me it will take longer... There's an McS across the street, and the lines there are longer and somehow seem faster... It should be faster at a drive-up counter, as is the case everywhere...

Disgusting! We were at the Supercharger and expected a "normal" KFC. No luck: simply filthy on a Saturday night, the staff swearing at each other, incredibly loud, the faucet in the toilet doesn't work. Completely unsuitable for a restroom break; I wouldn't order any drinks or food from here under any circumstances.

After repeated bad experiences at the drive-thru, only one star. Exorbitantly long wait times. Barely enough staff to handle the customers, including the drive-thru.

First of all... this only applies to the current situation. We were there when the outside temperature was 34 degrees Celsius. Unfortunately (for whatever reason), it wasn't possible to open the umbrellas outside. It was warmer inside than outside and a bit messy that day. That can happen. The staff is like everywhere else... a bit brisk, their German is a bit poor, but friendly. The food was good. I wouldn't go in right now if it was hot.

The food is expensive, but it's quick and tasty. The staff is very friendly. I just can't understand why the air conditioning isn't on in this heat. There is, after all. You can't stand being there for more than 10 minutes. I really feel sorry for the staff.

Truly awful, the chicken was soggy, not crispy at all, and greasy. It was 35 degrees outside, I think 40 inside. No air conditioning and all the windows closed, it felt like walking into an oven. A nightmare!!!

I understand the air conditioning has been broken for four years. What employer does this to their employees and customers? It was almost 30 degrees inside, which was unbelievable. The parasol outside was also broken, and one had already been removed. They forgot a few things when we ordered. We were told right away. A friendly man helped us. The slightly older woman wasn't very enthusiastic. The fries were limp, the rest was okay, but nothing special. I said, skip this one and go to the neighbors.

We pulled off the highway to have a snack here. The entire restaurant had a dingy look. The tables were dirty and sticky, and even a half-hearted wipe by a waitress with a dry cloth didn't help much. It's a shame; we actually quite enjoyed eating chicken every now and then, but we don't go here anymore.

It was really bad. They mixed everything up and some things were missing. But when we asked, we got them. It was really embarrassing, and the food didn't taste good either. The fries were full of oil and the burgers tasted really bad. It was just sauce. By the way, we ordered extra sauce and didn't get any. The place next to the main train station in Munich was beautiful, but it's a no-go here.

Unfortunately, it seems like too much to simply fill your cup with Pepsi Zero instead of regular Pepsi when ordering. Especially for diabetics, this is not only annoying but also problematic for your health.

Beware of this rip-off! Ordered a bucket with 8 pieces! When it arrived at home, there were only 7 pieces. And 4 of them were legs!!! Unbelievable. The wings were also missing sauce. And that's the price.

Normally, KFC is my favorite among all fast-food restaurants. This was my biggest disappointment at KFC so far, and I'm not usually that sensitive and I admit to my weaknesses. ...but in a nearly empty restaurant (three people were waiting for their receipts to be processed), waiting almost half an hour for a children's menu and, in one case, three chicken pieces with sides was too much. No apology, no friendly smile, no please, and no goodbye. Well, okay, I didn't feel like working. But the food was also strange. I've never had chicken with so much fat deposits that I couldn't enjoy, like today. The same goes for the corn on the cob with butter. Apparently cooked for hours, seemingly without salt, no texture, no flavor, no butter, nothing at all. I tried to take a bite once, and a slimy mess came to my mouth that I couldn't swallow. When I complained, the unfriendly elderly lady took our entire tray and said she would forward it. Then she placed the tray in the bin where you put your leftovers and trash and walked away. That was it, we were free to go, and I then treated myself to a nice snack at Schäfer's across the street. I'll certainly continue to be a KFC customer, but I will definitely not be going to this or a certain other branch again.

The fries were soggy, the corn was overcooked, the burgers had very little sauce and barely any toppings. Other burgers were completely overseasoned. The atmosphere was rundown. Sorry, but not again.

We were there last night. We ordered an apple spritzer. We received a Coke. The coleslaw was completely missing from the menu, and one of the two burgers we ordered was incorrect. We don't need a repeat here.

You have to give it a star, but it's not deserved. Waiting over 30 minutes for two coffees. The staff are completely overwhelmed, which is also evident in their mood. They are stressed, disorganized, and sometimes very overwhelmed. Their tone of voice is becoming increasingly aggressive, even among colleagues. Food is practically thrown into the bags, and even when other customers ask questions, everything is ignorantly blamed on being too busy. But it was more likely due to poor preparation by the entire crew. We won't be going back here; this was already the second bad experience.

Upon entering at 6:30 PM, the restaurant appears tidy. The problems begin at the counter. An unhygienic and unashamedly gum-chewing woman working there first picks earwax from her ear, then touches food, then walks to the kitchen where she picks her nose and touches food again. The manager and other employees see this but don't find it strange or confront her. Furthermore, the kitchen is extremely dirty. DO NOT COME HERE!

This is the second time I've come to KFC and the second time I've waited 30-40 minutes for my order. I go to the cashier and they say they forgot and apologize. There's no good service here. It's dirty and there aren't many people. But waiting for your order is a disaster.

What a mess! For €60... I'm truly speechless! More breaded than any piece of chicken. The burger was inedible. The fries were cold and soggy. Only the wrap was okay. Definitely never again!

We ordered four different burgers. Only one package had a checkmark corresponding to its contents. Since we had a spicy Zinger with us and didn't want to subject the children to it, we asked at the counter. They then told us what kind of burgers they were supposed to be. Unfortunately, due to the contents (tomato, etc.), they couldn't fit. We then went back to the counter and called the supervisor. When we asked about the missing checkmarks, she replied that they don't always check them 🤬 She couldn't identify the correct burgers either. We then tried to go by taste. That worked much better. We'd gladly go back to KFC, but not the branch in Limburg 👎

After a redesign of the interior, the design is appealing. Unfortunately, ordering from the vending machine is still possible!

No! Absolute disaster! Incomplete meal after a 45-minute wait. When asked to please complete the menus, the employee said he'd take care of it, but then disappeared into the back of the kitchen and came back out to the side with a cleaning rag in his hand... Huh?? Customer friendliness and service were far from the mark!! And when I used the vending machine, apple spritzer came out instead of Coke... I can't think of anything else to say! I'm only giving stars because I have to give at least one.

It's stuffy inside, and outside there are empty tables and closed doors to the terrace. We had to walk around to sit outside. The umbrellas were closed...but we found some shade. Whether they are short of workers or demotivated or lazy, I don't know...

Disaster! Vending machines don't give out order slips. When I asked, the response was "I don't understand anything." After a person who understood German finally came after half an hour, my slip was printed out. After another half hour, the ordered food arrived, half of it wrong. Again, I received the response "I don't understand anything," even when I pointed this out. KFC Limburg is getting worse and worse.

Long wait times, limited drink selection (mainly zero-equivalent soft drinks), and the quality of the food was sometimes subpar or tasteless. The place was pretty clean, though. Basically, only self-service drink dispensers, an ordering kiosk, and no table service. Overall impression: okay.

Once and never again. After the first two ordering terminals didn't respond, I ordered on the third. The card reader didn't work, so I printed out the receipt and went to the front to pay. We were ignored for 10 minutes and the staff preferred to speak the local language. After waiting 10 minutes, we got fed up and left.

The restaurant is okay. The food is good. It's also a great place to go with children. Everything was fine.

Very tasty hot wings. Spacious restaurant. Unfortunately, the wait time was a bit long. The order display didn't work. I'd definitely go back anyway. There's a convenient HEM gas station next door.

For transit purposes, it is located directly at the A3 Limburg South exit.

I haven't waited that long for a coffee to go in a long time. Even though it wasn't that busy that evening. The employee seemed a bit overwhelmed coordinating the previous orders. He also didn't have time to press the button on the machine to pour a coffee in between.

Extremely slow and unstructured

Absolutely outrageous. I was at the drive-thru at KFC. I wanted to exchange the burgers on my meal, but they ended up charging me extra for them. Of course, I thought it could happen, but when I saw the chicken chili burger, it was shocking. I don't know why I only got two slices of bread and they just put a tender on top, and that was the case with all four burgers. I will definitely never go to that KFC again!

After waiting 20 minutes, I canceled my order too and simply walked out empty-handed...

Der Crispy Chili Burger war nicht einmal bis zu Hälfte mit einem Hähnchenfilet gefüllt. Geschweige davon dass er nicht ansatzweise aussah wie auf dem im Angebot gezeigten Bild. Der Wasserhahn auf der Herrentoilette könnte auch mal erneuert werden… Da muss ich nicht nochmal hin.

All of this is only surpassed by the typically overpriced prices at KFC. Never again.

One star is still too many! We went to the KFC in Limburg today – and it was a really bad experience. As soon as we entered we were “welcomed” by a group of unkempt employees who obviously didn’t value appearance or hygiene. Half-heartedly put on headgear, unkempt clothing – we should have turned around right then and there. The menu we ordered came quickly, but that was the only bright spot. The burgers looked as if they had been pressed together with a fist - including a clear handprint on the bun. The fries were cold, soft and tasted like they had been on display for ages. The drinks machines were empty - instead of cola, all that was available was a splash of air with a little water. The coleslaw? The taste was ok, but the slimy sauce was so stringy that you lost your appetite. And the chicken pieces: cold, limp, soggy. No trace of what you would actually expect at KFC. This restaurant is a disgrace - both in terms of service, cleanliness and quality. We're definitely not coming back.

If you like cold unsalted fries and cold burgers you should go there. It wasn't tasty, the drinks machines were empty. My husband's burger was a cardboard bread with cold non-crispy Flwisch something. Never eat there again. It's a shame actually

Incredible conditions here in Limburg! I know many branches but this one is really underground! The food was old and cold, the fries were soggy as if they had been there since the morning and it was 9 p.m. The hygienic conditions in general are a disgrace! No table has been cleaned, the floor is sticky and the sanitary facilities cannot be used. Case for the hygiene office?!
