Very friendly, attentive staff. The food was very tasty. I was expecting something different from a fish platter. In my opinion, there was a bit less fish.

The food was excellent, the portions were very good. The meat was first-class. The service was very attentive. The ambiance was very good. It was a bit chilly under the awning, but the heating lamps made it manageable. All in all, a real hidden gem 👍

The restaurant was packed, but we were allowed to sit on the terrace! The owner welcomed us kindly and immediately turned on the heater. Large menu, something for everyone! We didn't have to wait long for the dishes, it was ready within 15 minutes, despite the fact that it was so busy! Cosiness, nice atmosphere, extremely friendly service! We enjoyed it!

The atmosphere was very friendly and the food was excellent. Since the weather was nice, we sat in the beer garden. We were also able to bring our dog, which made us very happy. I highly recommend this place.

I would love to give more than 5 stars, the food was incredibly delicious (we had the pork medallions and the lamb fillet in red wine sauce and both are highly recommended!!!) and the service was perfect, super friendly, fast and attentive.

Great team. Attentive, fast, and friendly. Everything was delicious; ouzo was available before and after, and if you wanted something in between, too. It's best to make a reservation in advance.

Today we were in Athens with 8 people as part of our family vacation over Easter. Excellent food, very nice service. Price/performance ratio absolutely fine. We ordered everything from the menu... from starters to Metaxa Schnitzel... everything was great. When we arrived there was an Ouzo and when we paid the ladies even added a Baileys. We definitely recommend Athens. A nice end to a great day despite the bad weather.

An absolute insider tip in Waldeck! The “Athens” restaurant not only offers authentic Greek cuisine, but also a wonderful ambience. From the first moment you feel welcome - the service is friendly, attentive and always with a smile. The menu is varied and offers something for every taste. The portions are generous and the quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite. The beer garden is cozy and inviting - ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or family. We have spent many summer evenings there and now count visits in the high double digits. We can only warmly recommend the restaurant! A must for all lovers of Greek cuisine.

The food was very tasty and the price was also quite good. The only thing that would be nice was a slightly larger portion in some cases, but it's always enough to fill you up. The service was very nice and accommodating. The ambience was just like a small village restaurant, kept small and rather discreet with a few club pictures on the wall.

Eating very good, value for money absolutely fine. We had the fish platter and the gyros platter, both with a side salad. Great taste. I think we've found a new go-to place for Greek cuisine. We'll be back.

Overall, a really exceptionally good restaurant. A very nice and attentive team, throughout. We were in the annex opposite, it's nice to sit there. The food was very good, the only point of criticism: the unfortunately quite limp fried pieces of calamari. The meat, the fries, the salad - all very good. Another positive thing to mention is the very clean toilets. Overall, really highly recommended!

Update, October 23rd, 2024: Simply fantastic again this year. Top service and fantastic Greek food. Went there for the first time yesterday. We are currently on vacation here at Edersee. The food, service and friendliness were great. We had a really great store. The restaurant is small and cute. Gladly again. Special requests were also addressed without any problems. Really great value for money.

We didn't have a reservation, but we were still welcomed very warmly. Very child friendly. Service was super nice & quick. Everything very tasty! There was even a little treat bag for the little ones: with ice cream, gummy bears and lollipops. We can only recommend everything!

We went to the Athens Restaurant for dinner with 8 people for my birthday. All guests were completely satisfied with the food, I personally have never eaten such good gyros as I did there. The service is also perfect. Friendly, quick, thorough. All orders were correct and were brought to the table promptly even though the restaurant was completely full. At the end there was ice cream and lollipops for the children and the adults either got an ouzo or Baileys, other drinks were also offered. It was definitely not the last time we were there, 100% recommendation for the restaurant and the employees.

A great Greek. You should reserve a place in advance. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Class. The food is good, fresh and tastes delicious. The portions are reasonable. For me, the gyros could be a little spicier and the garlic bread could also taste like garlic. But you don't smell like garlic.

Yes, what can I say. We've had it on our minds to eat here for 5 years, and today was the day. We weren't disappointed. The food was outstanding, as was the service. The ambience is a bit atypical, but that doesn't matter. It fits as is. We'd love to come back.

I was a bit skeptical at first because it was very crowded both inside and outside! But the boss and his employees create an excellent atmosphere with a lot of warmth, which makes you forget the busy business. Very fast service and incredibly great food. We are thrilled with our child! Reservations are mandatory! We will be back!

Were there today and had 2 salads that were good, extra dressing would be very good and unfortunately it was hardly to be found in the salad. The bifteki was a pleasure but not a tzaziki as you would expect. Unfortunately there was a red sauce that was watery and no onions or vegetables and then the price of 15 euros is unfortunately too much...but we are just vacationers😔☹️

We were there at 12 p.m. during the week and didn't have a reservation. We were the first guests and had free choice of table. The choice of food is typically Greek, there are also many dishes with rice instead of fries. We had Suzuki with rice and tzatziki (€14.50), the portion size was okay. In order to keep the prices on the menu from escalating, the dishes are offered without a side salad. We also ordered two side dishes of salads for €3 and a large bottle of water, which added up to €40.90. The food tasted really good and a free ouzo was also offered. The Greek man who served us was very friendly and accommodating.
