Waren zum wiedermal im kedo ,alles klasse,Bedienungen waren super super nett ,essen top,wurden auf lange Wartezeit hingewiesen,was uns gar nicht gestört hat ,man hat doch Zeit samstag abend .weiter so ,ihr seid klasse

A wonderful establishment with many ways to avoid waiting for food such as billiards, darts, etc. Totally brilliant!

Good range of food, various beers and live football, I'm now giving it a 5th star because ordering at the table works great.

We have celebrated our birthdays at Kedo many times and have always been completely satisfied. Starting with the friendly service, the good American ambience, and the good price/performance ratio for the food and drinks. Regardless of whether it was a burger, schnitzel or salad, so far everything has tasted good. Big praise, keep it up!

Very good food and friendly staff. The only drawback: waiting time. But you can bridge that in a relaxed atmosphere. After 5 years we were there again in a large group. Ordered for 10 people who were then allowed to sit at different tables ^^ It was a failure this time. Being served raw schnitzel - after 90 minutes of waiting! The beer was warm and very lightly carbonated. We then switched to bottled beer! Unfortunately this time it was very disappointing.

We have been served better food at KEDO. The service was very nice and friendly. But that was the only positive thing you could say. We waited a good hour for food. The pettis were completely fried to death. These and also the fish (finished breading) were definitely frozen frozen products. Absolute HUGE: If the owner himself admits in the previous reviews (bad reviews) that he has to serve frozen goods to the guests, he will probably be able to close the KEDO sooner or later. Because such a statement was very ill-considered and quickly made the rounds. Next time I'll stay at home and cook my own burger again, with fresh meat. It tastes better to me and is much cheaper. TIP: A good boss must be able to deal with bad criticism and always remain polite. Otherwise I see black for the KEDO. Extremely friendly and courteous staff!!! Price performance - top 👍👍👍. Decent portions. Pre-ordering is absolutely necessary, especially if you go on a burger day! We were there in a larger group, had reserved a table and were even provided with a pool table for just under €13 for the whole evening, so you really can't complain! You could play before and after the meal, just a great idea. Absolutely recommended and we love coming every time because everything fits!

A place of which there are unfortunately too few in Dresden. Huge selection of different dishes for you alone or as a group. The portions are large and therefore reasonably priced. In terms of taste, everything was perfectly seasoned and typically American - very clean. You can play billiards or play card/board games while waiting for food or watch current sports on several televisions. We've been there twice and there's nothing wrong with a third time!

Beer 1l tasted great €7.50 and on Sunday and Monday even for €6.00, I'll definitely come back 😉 I haven't tried the food yet but I'll definitely do it soon 😉 Nice service .. which I personally like, you can also pay with Visa, I asked because I would be invited, unfortunately I haven't tried it yet 😉 Small criticism point 😉 please also update the website (prices)

The prices are good, the dishes are tasty, but the waiting time is about an hour :/ I read in the comments that the owner explains it because of staff shortages. So maybe it's worth hiring someone?

We went to Kedo on a Saturday to eat and play pool. The food came quickly and was, as always, delicious. There was nothing wrong with the billiards either. Unfortunately, neither non-alcoholic cocktails nor alcoholic cocktails could be ordered on the entire Saturday evening. A short explanation of the very snippy service instead of “not available today” would certainly have given us more understanding as customers…

Our visit was on a quieter evening, so there was no hustle and bustle. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was very good and the food was delicious. I chose the Kentucky Peach as a companion for my wings and I can say that you can't necessarily taste the alcohol. Of course, this can be different for the other cocktails. The service was wonderful and overall it was a great experience for us. 😁

A very divided experience. The service was very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is harmonious and tasteful with billiards and many board games. Unfortunately the food was a complete disaster. Warmed up, chicken not fried enough, the schnitzel (probably frozen?) almost inedible and the burger prepared with little love. Probably not again.

Chic location with an American flair with super nice staff. I've been visiting on and off for a few years now and it never disappoints me. 😊 Whether you just want to eat and chat or play a game of billiards, darts, etc. it's always a good choice.

Overall, a cozy (a little outdated) but friendly American restaurant with billiards etc. We received a really friendly welcome and found the service to be very attentive. Of course, the busier the store became, the more stressful it was and you had to tunnel a little more, but you can definitely forgive that. The fact is, they were all charming. Billiards all evening for €18 is more than fair and of course invites you to linger. However, you have to make clear compromises when it comes to eating. We had a mix plate because we wanted to try a lot of things. Unfortunately everything is frozen and fried except for the cole slaw on the side. I think a quarter of corn on the cob or a tender piece of ribs from the oven would have benefited the plate and taken some of the space away from the fried food. The WoW factor is simply missing. Even on the neighboring plates there is more frozen food than fresh produce. The meat patties also came from the freezer, which is definitely a no-go in an American-style restaurant. There are enough franchisers for that.... The store was quite busy on Saturday and could therefore offer more, because the potential is definitely there. I think that would be well received by the guests if they showed some love for the food. Nevertheless, it was a successful evening and we don't blame it on the food. The atmosphere was really inviting and we would love to come back.

We were satisfied so far. Only the food was cold. And what I found to be cheeky. We were given a dessert as an apology which was then added to the bill.

Very cozy, extremely well equipped restaurant. Typically American. Eating in huge portions. Very friendly staff:) Prices are completely reasonable for the portion sizes. Were there today (end of March 24th), 3 people, all with a starter, a large main course (2x big burger and 1x tbone steak) and 2 drinks each and only paid 130 euros. Go to the city center, where you can get less quality meat for more money.) There are also several billiard tables that must be reserved. Drinks are a bit expensive but still within reason. All in all 5 out of 5 stars. I'm sticking with it, I'm happy to come here again and again, even the necessary price adjustments won't change that. We really enjoy going to kedo on every birthday and throughout the year, and we leave feeling full and overjoyed almost every time.

I ordered chicken wings. They were almost black. Potatoes and a little bit of cabbage were added to them. It was all very dry for me. If you take beer with it, it will probably be better. The lighting is average, so the gender inequality between the halls is very uncomfortable. The only good thing is the bowling.

We recently went to Kedo for the first time to play pool and eat. First of all, a conclusion: it is a very nice shop with small drawbacks. The good first. The restaurant is located in the former inn "Zum Reichsschmied" Ober-Gorbitz and, from 1938, a film studio, and is therefore probably better known to most Dresden residents. It is a very beautiful building, but unfortunately the formerly beautiful spire no longer exists. They only exist on old postcards. Due to the size and age of the building, the rooms are numerous and winding, which adds a certain charm. The sanitary facilities are upstairs and very well maintained (a smell of coconut spread). There is a big heart for smokers, a special room has been designated as a smoking room, equipped with a television and tables and chairs. Smokers can indulge in their habit all evening long, just like in the “good” old days. As an occasional smoker, I was happy about this as I didn't have to go out into the cold and dark to smoke occasionally. We don't know whether all the guests like it. To the card and the gastronomic offerings. The menu is beautifully designed and there is a diverse selection. Since it is an "American bar and restaurant" it was clear what to expect, but there are also German dishes such as schnitzel. As for the beer, I would have liked Bavarian Hell in addition to Pilsner and Weizen (a bottle would be sufficient). It is now available almost everywhere and is (rightly) very popular. Unfortunately, Pilsner is not my thing (too bitter for me personally). American beer might be appropriate for the theme but who drinks that :-). To billiards. Unfortunately I have to make a few compromises here. The tables are clearly too close together, which is the biggest disadvantage here. I understand that you want to use the space as much as possible, every table brings money, but if in many cases (especially between the tables) you can no longer move the cue normally or there is a wall behind you that hinders this, the fun quickly becomes clouded. The second criticism goes to the cues, unfortunately most of them were no longer quite in order. In particular, many bitter oranges (tips) and ferrules (bordering the tip) were defective, crooked, torn or even loose. The tables (a total of 8 in 2 rooms, very “baroque” in design) also seem to have had their best days behind them. The balls often strayed far from the straight line, especially with light impacts. Now, of course, we haven't played on all the tables, but the models are at least all approximately the same. There was also room for improvement in terms of lighting; some light bulbs were completely missing. As far as we could see, there was only one extension for the entire room. service We can't complain much about the service, the colleagues were very agile, there were of course waiting times, especially at the beginning, and the restaurant was very busy. In any case, we didn't die of thirst or starvation and there was also a relaxed conversation. Finally, a tip for the website. Billiards is a bit neglected; you could create a separate sub-item, similar to bowling and beach. We will definitely come back, but it probably won't be our main bar for billiards for the reasons mentioned above. But who knows, maybe new equipment will come along at some point.

Very tasty food, especially a large selection. Super lovely employees. You can also pass the time by playing games, watching sports or playing billiards while waiting for your meal. I can only warmly recommend it. Above all, a dog is allowed in here too.

I was with you two weeks ago with my girlfriend (Lübeck Girls then maybe you still know who I am) I can only say high praise. Even when it's full, the friendliness remains, the staff doesn't seem stressed to the guests, which gives the guests a good and safe feeling. And if you have to wait longer, you can play one of at least 15 board games that they have lined up for your guests. And if that's not enough, the billiards also offer space for fun and you can also play darts. All in all, a huge variety and there is something for everyone. The cocktails are also highly recommended (Pina Colada) and will definitely come back again. 👏🏻🙏🏻

We were there last year and are still thrilled, even though the portions advertised by the service weren't that generous. (Not everyone can be as greedy as I am 🤣). Our dog also got his bowl of water. Coming back to Dresden in April and definitely going to Kedo again.

Went there recently and the food wasn't a masterpiece even for the price. Waited forever. The boss is the last person on earth. And when you criticize, you get stupid answers. If you don't feel like cooking properly or giving your guests a nice evening, you shouldn't open a restaurant in the first place.

American Bar & Restaurant... you feel right at home. Very nice atmosphere, sports are shown and offered (billiards, darts, board games), there is something for everyone. Good selection of food and drinks. But the best thing is the staff, you couldn't be more cordial. A place to come back again and again. Only recommended.

We celebrated our birthday there and thought it was very nice. The food was delicious and afterwards we played bowling. Sometimes the drinks we ordered were forgotten but we got them after we spoke to them again. But something like that can happen on a busy Saturday.

Lanes too small and kept breaking. You can almost completely forget about the drinks.

I can only recommend this great store.

We just drove over an hour to the location, called in advance and were EXPRESSLY told that you didn't have to make a reservation, just show up and then it would be fine. Now we were there and we were told that you were welcome to sit at the counter and wait about 2 hours until something is free at all. Huge mess!! Not only will we definitely never go here again, word will also get around. I can't puke as much as I'm mad!!!! That's to come, as the owner comments on constructive criticism here. Incredibly unprofessional, unobjective and even threatening! 👎👎

Kleiner Geheimtipp in Dresden würde ich sagen. Unscheinbar etwas außerhalb vom Innenstadttrubel, liegt diese coole Location. Mega Auswahl an Burger und anderen Speisen. Ambiente super , Leute cool, Service mega. Wir habens uns richtig wohlgefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir wieder in Dresden sind. Vielen Dank

Es bietet wirklich eine angepasst gute Stimmung an einen entspannten Abend mit Kumpels mit preiswertem Essen sowie Getränken, daran ist wirklich nichts auszusetzen, dennoch bleibt es mir persönlich ein immenser Dorn im Auge beim bezahlen in das Firmenlogo von red Bull Leipzig zu blicken, welches dem Ambiente einen starken negativen Einfluss verleiht. Dem Betreiber ist vor allem in Dresden zu empfehlen dies schnell zu ändern, da genau hier ein Wunder Punkt getroffen wird wie nirgends sonst.

Wir waren letzten Samstag zu Besuch in Dresden und kehrten am Abend spontan ins KEDO ein. Das Haus war sehr gut besucht, wir hatten Glück und haben noch einen Tisch bekommen. Die Cocktails und das Essen waren sehr lecker. Der Service war mega, ein gut organisiertes Team. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an Hanjo. Absolut zum weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder …

Eine sehr entspannten Stimmung unter dem Team. Der Service geht schnell und ist locker und freundlich. Das Essen ist super. Eine Reservierung ist im Vorfeld notwendig.

Amerikanisches Restaurant mit Bowling, Billard und Dart.

Recht großes, kultiges Restaurant mit Bar und Billardbereich. Die Bierpreise sind mehr als fair, das Essen frisch und lecker, die Portionen üppig. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich, leider sind die Wartezeiten, sowohl für Getränke als auch Essen sehr lang gewesen, habe ich aber Verständnis für, schließlich war an diesem Abend volles Haus. Ambiente ist in Dresden einmalig, kenne kein anderes Lokal, welches diesen Stil hat. Im Fernsehen wird Fußball übertragen, für mich war das sehr praktisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bester Laden in Dresden und eine Institution!!

Wir hatten einen sehr lustigen Abend. Die Karte ist riesig, die Getränke sind gut und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Insgesamt war der Abend eine kleine Zeitreise in meine Judend. Wir kommen wieder!

Zum Klassentreffen dagewesen, es war teils gemütlich, teils aber auch etwas zu eng. Speisen und Getränke waren in Ordnung, preislich ebenso. Bedienung freundlich, aber in einer Situation einer Mitschülerin gegenüber leider unangebracht unempathisch. Für einen lockeren Treff und Fußball-Kuck-Abend aber sehr gut geeignet.

Wir waren in der ersten Oktoberwoche da. Waren alle sehr begeistert von den Burgern. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die French Fries. Vom Haus selber frisch gemacht. Bedienung super schnell und mega freundlich . Echt zu empfehlen.

Besser als erwartet! Netter Service, lecker Essen und im Anschluss noch eine Runde Billard gespielt. Einzige Kritik, die Bierdeckel an den Wänden haben ihre Mindesthaltbarkeit auch schon überschritten. Da könnte mal eine dezente Renovierung geplant werden

Das Essen ist super, die Bedienung ist klasse und auch mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen. Rundum zufrieden... kommen immer wieder gerne.

Charakterstark und gesellig. Sehr liebes Team trotz vollem Laden, also allen Händen voll zu tun. Während man aufs Essen wartet kann man Billard spielen.

Pro: Nette Servicekräfte, die auch auf Zack waren Contra: für ein amerikanisches Restaurant mit großer Burgerkarte und werben für die Burger, erwarte ich auch dementsprechendes Essen. Der Burger war lieblos zusammengesetzt, kalt und hatte nix mit einem Burger "amerikanischer" Art zu tun. billigste Zutaten und das zu einem absolut dreistem Preis. Tipp: Mal in die Neustadt gehen, ein Burgerlokal aufsuchen und Inspiration holen. Nebenbei: Weiß nicht ob es so gut ankommt, umstrittene Fahnen (die unter anderen für Sklaverei stehen) zu zeigen (wenn auch etwas versteckt) Antwort zum Kommentar des Inhabers: ui, Kritikfähigkeit sieht anders aus. Neustadt zu teuer? Das glaub ich kaum. Wir können gern bilateral über die Rezension reden, wenn gewünscht.

Leider waren an dem Sonnabend im vollen Restaurant alle und alles überfordert. Das Essen hat nicht geschmeckt. Die Currywurst war trocken und 0815. Der Salat schlecht. Der Tisch klebte schon zu Beginn. Das einzig gute waren die vielen Bildschirme zum Fußball schauen.

Was soll ich sagen? Schade das man nur 5 Sterne geben kann. Das Kedo ist das absolute Lieblingsrestaurant von meinen Freunden und mir. Das Essen ist wirklich unglaublich gut, die Auswahl ist riesig und die Preise sind super fair. Und was das Ganze noch abrundet ist der absolut tolle Service. Das Team vom Kedo ist ein Träumchen - so freundlich und gut drauf, das man sich sofort zuhause fühlt. Die Mitarbeiter haben immer einen flotten Spruch auf den Lippen und man merkt, das sie ihren Job dort gern machen. Besonderes Lob an Patti (ich glaube das ist der Inhaber), der uns vor kurzem wieder bedient hatte. Wir waren absolut happy! :)

Der Service ist sehr gut, das Essen ist sehr lecker, es ist sauber und es lädt zum verweilen ein. Gehe gern dort hin und bleibe auch gern dort. Billard spielen ist ebenfalls sehr toll. Man vergisst die Zeit dabei. Es lohnt sich definitiv :)

Sehr tolles Ambiente mit günstigen Billiard-Angebot und leckeren Essen.

Preis Leistung ist einfach top. Sind keine fancy Bürger aber lecker und Große Portionen. Bedienung ist freundlich. Dekoration innen ist wirklich stimmig. Toiletten sind sind ok. Ich gehe immer wieder gerne hier her.
